Without further ado, let the chapter begin!

A Few Hours Earlier

It was the middle of the night at the city. There were still some cars on the streets while a few people were walking on the sidewalk. This was calm before the possible storm that will arrive by morning. Suddenly, there was a siren melody echoing around the city. As the citizens heard the beautiful voice, they were immediately stuck in a hazy daze.

People who were outside started to walking where the voice was coming from.

At the edge of the city, there was a woman with gills on her neck, scales on her arms and legs and had a large scar on her right eye. The woman has long black hair with black eyes that almost seems lifeless.

She started grinned devilishly as she lured the few people near the Providence vehicles.

"Don't even think about it." Six warned as he appeared behind the woman.

"So you must be Six. Five told me about you. The name's Harmony, in case you might have forgotten." Harmony introduced herself.

Six replied, "I know who you are."

Harmony continued to grin and then focused on singing her siren song to attract a few more citizens.

Rosie approached Six with a data pad in her hands, she whispered, "We have over 243 civilians. I recommend we continue trying to evacuate more people before we might have to fight in the morning."

"Why don't you get some rest?" Six suggested.

Rosie stubbornly shook her head and proudly said, "Don't worry dad. I had some coffee before we left and I don't feel sleepy at all."

Six frowned but Rex made it in time to prevent any possible fights or arguments from happening. Rex ruffled Rosie's hair and said, "Come on Rosie. Let us handle this, why don't you go check in with your mom and cousins?"

"Okay." Rosie smiled and hurried inside of the larger vehicles where they were staying at. Harmony approached the men and remarked, "You know, Five really wants to see the child-"

"Not happening." Six and Rex both frowned causing Harmony roll her eyes.

Harmony shook her head and remarked, "Hey, give her some credit. She won't harm her like what Dos did."

Six's face darkened, which made Harmony hold her hands up. "Geez, if you're this protective then why is she here?"

"Rosie's job isn't to fight, she's going to help her cousins trying to disable the main bomb so the other ones won't explode." Rex said and started to count how many other citizens were arriving.

Harmony gave them a look and said, "There's a chance that they will have to fight. Its unavoidable, especially with how risky this mission is."

"We have it all under control." Rex insisted until Harmony pointed out, "Not everything is always going to be in your control. Something's bound to happen."

Six glanced back at where his wife and daughter are standing. Rebecca and Rosie were discussing about something important while looking through some files. He was starting to doubt himself if it was a good idea to bring his family to this.

But if he knew anything about his wife and daughter, its that they are equally as stubborn. Which is a good thing if they are fighting for what they believe in.

Rosie looked up at Six and smiled brightly as she gave him a thumbs up.

They were all in this together, what could go wrong?

At one of the warehouses behind the main hospital buildings, a squad of Providence agents quickly stormed in. Calan scanned around the building with his agents behind him. Once Calan made sure the coast was cleared, he looked back at the entrance and said, "Its all clear, you kids can come in."

Rosie and Lucia hurried inside the warehouse with small laptops in their hands. Julio and Bobo followed closely behind and Julio groaned, "Do you have to call us kids Captain Calan? Its understandable for Rosie since she's still a minor."

The girls gave Julio a look and ordered, "Less talking and help us with this."

Julio pulled out a small device from his pocket and was pacing around the warehouse. The device would make occasion noises when they passed rows of boxes. Rosie looked at her wristwatch and frowned.

"Captain Calan, Bobo, keep watch around any other entrances or exits of this warehouse. I'm worried that someone might come in and try to stop us." Rosie said when they heard the device making loudly noises.

"Um, small problem about that. The tracker is detecting two bombs here instead of one." Julio said while two agents started to opened the crate that Julio was standing in front of. Rosie's face dropped and started to doubt herself.

She made sure to check carefully with the information she found. Rosie bit her lip nervously as she stared at the two bombs that were connected to each other.

"Hey Green Pea! Don't get all scared now. Just do your job and we can finally go home." Bobo told Rosie when they noticed she was getting pale.

Lucia glared, "She's trying her best Uncle Bobo! Don't stress her out even more!"

Rosie took a deep breathe and looked at her cousins.

"He's right, I shouldn't be getting scared now. Lucia, Julio, I need you two to focus on the bomb on the left. I'll handle the one on the right." Rosie sternly said and opened her laptop.

Rex started to fight any EVOs that exit through the door. He counted as many as seven EVOs in sight. Who knows if there are anymore waiting to get out through the door.

The nurses that were behind him hurried out of the way. Six kept Michael restrain and said, "Rex, ca you handle yourself while you're gone?"

Rex summoned his smack hands and punched a row of EVOs down. It was like a domino effect since each of them fell backwards. He grinned, "Do you even have to worry about me?"

Six started to drag Michael through the hallway and Rex started curing the EVOs he knocked out. Rex heard some glass breaking coming from inside the previously locked door. There might be a chance that there would be more EVOs coming from the room. So Rex needs to focus on fighting them off.

Rex hurried inside but noticed it wasn't a room, there was a stairway heading downstairs.

"Secret basement?" Rex asked himself before he dashed down the stairs to see what was causing that noise.

Rex was surprised to see there large glass containers that were now broken. He looked around the large lab and noticed there was three different tunnels heading somewhere.

"That's not good." Rex frowned and tried to pick one tunnel to go to. But he noticed a large computer screen that was still on. Thinking he could find any valuable information, Rex decides to look through the computer.

There was a map that had several blinking dots on some specific locations. It was familiar to Rex since this was the map that Rosie found and was mentioned during the briefing. Rex stared at the screen carefully until he noticed something from the reflection of the screen.

Rex turned around and summon his smack hands to block any attacks from a sneaky EVO.

Rex immediately punched the EVO away and heard a mumbled voice in his ear piece.

"What was that?" Rex said as he touched his ear piece.

There was more muffling.

"What's going on out there Rex?" Six said in the ear piece until they heard Rosie screaming through the ear piece.

Rex formed his Rex Bike and made a break for it through the middle tunnel. He knew something bad happened since Rosie wouldn't scream like that unless she's in trouble. Before he could make a sharp turn, there was more EVOs charging at him.

"How did this guy get enough nanites to have this many EVOs?" Rex grunted and was getting ready to fight.

"What do we do now?!" Lucia screeched while she hid behind a crate with her brother. They weren't much help in this fight because they didn't have any weapons.

Rosie kept doing back flips to avoid from getting hit from Skalamander's attacks as she focused. She landed on top of a pile of crates and made a run for it at the top. Once Rosie was at the top, she noticed Bobo was ready for the cue from her.

"Well, we don't have to do much since we're not even breaking a sweat. These guys aren't even trying." Rosie taunt but pulled out her katana to block any crystals that were fired her way.

"Try avoiding those attacks!" Skalamander said.

Rosie bit her lip and kept swinging her katana around to deflect the shards.

Rosie yelled, "Uncle Bobo now!"

Bobo used his laser pistols and kept firing at Skalamander. He fell forward as he was knocked out. Rosie looked relieved and gave Bobo a thumbs up. "Thanks Uncle Bobo. Remind me to owe you a pizza once this is over."

"I'll hold you onto that green pea." Bobo grinned and Rosie sat down for a moment.

Rosie took a few deep breathes then she looked at Calan and the rest of the agents. "Is that all of them?" Rosie asked when the agents restraints the unconscious EVOs. Calan said, "That seems to be all of them. But we didn't spot Biowulf or Van Kleiss."

"Depending on the situation, that could be a good or bad thing." Rosie admitted and touched her ear piece to try and contact her parents.

She frowned when the only thing she heard was static noise. "Dad? Mom? Can you guy hear me?"

Static.

Lucia and Julio went to check what was going on but everyone heard a dangerous growling noise.

"We've got another swarm coming in!" Calan yelled and held his blaster up. The agents got ready to attack but there was something blurry zone passed them. They couldn't see where the EVO was coming from.

Rosie looked around the warehouse to see if she can find the EVO from the high grounds. She felt something wet dripped on her head and touched her hair. There was a saliva on her fingertips and Rosie guessed that this won't be good.

She slowly turned around to see it was Aaron but no one knew it was him. They still think Aaron could be locked up in one of the hospitals. Aaron wasn't able to control himself since he felt the urge to attack.

"Woah!" Rosie screamed as she tried to swing her katana at Aaron when he pounced at her.

They fell to the ground and Rosie felt something crack loudly.

"Rosie!" Lucia screamed worriedly.

Bobo and Calan started firing at Aaron to make him get away from Rosie.

This only made Aaron more upset and he hissed loudly at them. Aaron was about to attack them until he looked down at Rosie. She looked like she's in pain and blood coming from her forehead. Something ignite inside of Aaron and he started to focus on Rosie.

Rosie yelped when Aaron grabbed her with his teeth and jumped over everyone.

"Hey! Put me down!" Rosie screamed and squirmed around from Aaron's large teeth. Bobo tried to fire shots at Aaron's back but Aaron kept avoiding the blasts by jumping around.

Lucia got the ear piece to work and yelled out, "We've got a situation! Rosie gotten taken away by some large EVO!"

That's about it for Chapter 33. I hope everyone enjoys it :) I had writer's block for a while until I had to watch some movies this weekend to help come up with some ideas. XD

Thank you for your last review YellowAngela. I'm glad to put Bobo in the story and it took me this long to do it? I should be ashamed of myself XD We'll see what's going on with Ava's powers soon, so it will be an interesting turn of events. I feel bad for turning Aaron into an EVO but I wanted to cause a little drama :3 Thanks for the advice for the ending of the story, that really helps me figure out what to do :D Is it bad that I'm getting emotional when I was thinking about the later chapters for this story? I was thinking about Rosie going to prom, her graduating and going to college, and I started tearing up.

I'll do my best with updating chapter 34 soon. I will be going back to school next week on the 24th, so the updates might be a little slow. But don't worry, I'll still be updating my stories :3 I hope everyone is doing well and is having a good night. :)
