Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Hope your day is spent with the people you love. Okay so this one was literally just because I wanted to. It's based off the TV series Galavant which is just a goofy comedy so this oneshot is kinda silly but I had a lot of fun writing this and I hope you all enjoy! 3

Happy Valentine's Day, princess.

Elsa smiled as she read the text from her phone. She lay in her bed on her side as she woke up naturally, not needing a pesky alarm seeing as it was Saturday. She sat up and texted back with a big smile.

Happy Valentine's Day, ghost boy.

She smiled and absentmindedly glanced out her glass balcony doors and noticed something on the railing of the balcony. She got out of bed and opened the doors, letting the grisp February air fully wake her. There on the iron rail a bouquet of red roses sat neatly perched on the edge. Her smile widened as she gently picked them up. Without even looking around she spoke up, "I know you're here. My mom and dad are already gone and Anna is out with friends."

Immediately the town's ghost hero materialized beside her with a smile on his face. "You like them?" he nodded at the flowers.

"They're beautiful Danny," Elsa reached out and pulled him in for a soft kiss, "Thank you."

He let a dreamy smile cross his face before nodding at her, "You should get dressed. Your Valentine's surprise awaits."

She shook her head at him, "You're ridiculous. I said I don't need anything crazy or extravagant. Just a nice day with my boyfriend."

"Will you just let me have this?" he deadpanned before quirking his brow, giving away his sarcastic humor, "I'm putting in an effort."

She playfully rolled her eyes and huffed, "Fine, if I have to."

He laughed at her before she turned to go back inside her room. She returned with a red gift bag and handed it to him. "Happy Valentine's Day," she said as he took it and she retreated back into her room to get changed.

Danny smiled as he reached into the bag. His smile widened at its contents, a book on astronomy and one of his favorite movies: Hidden Figures. Elsa re-emerged from her room dressed in leggings and a sweater. "You did say casual right?" she asked as he took her waist.

"Yeah but I mean, I doesn't really matter what you wear cause… well," he shrugged it off, "You'll see. It's part of the surprise. Oh and before I forget," he swept her up in his arms a pressed a kiss to her cheek, "Thank you."

She smiled at him before he flew up into the morning sky and towards Fenton Works. He easily phased through the walls and flew her down into the basement. He paused a pushed a button to open the ghost portal.

Elsa looked up at Danny with a brow raised and he offered her a comforting smile. "Just trust me, okay?" She nodded but tightened her grip as he launched into the swirling green vortex. It wasn't Elsa's first time in the Ghost Zone, but she wasn't a frequent visitor. Her eyes scanned every door they passed, curiosity making her wonder what was behind each one.

Eventually, they landed in a frozen realm that looked to be completely barren. Elsa raised a brow as Danny set her down in the snow, "I know I come from Norway but this is a little too much snow."

Danny just laughed at her and shook his head, "This isn't the surprise. Come on, you need to meet someone first, a close friend. Oh, and uh, don't get too freaked out okay?"

This would raise red flags for a normal girl. Elsa was currently dating a ghost so her idea of "normal" is much different than others'.

They walked for a little bit before Elsa gasped at the sight of ghostly yetis who smiled warmly as soon as they saw Danny. "Ah! The Savior of the Ghost Zone has returned to us!" the one with a frozen arm proclaimed as the pair came to a stop in front of them, "And this time he brings a companion."

"Elsa, this is Frostbite, the ghost I was telling you about," Danny faced his ghostly friend, "Frostbite, this is Elsa."

Frostbite dawned a look of mischief as he took in the sight of the couple, "Ah, so you are the fair and beautiful Elsa that the Great One has told us all about."

Danny's cheeks instantly burned red as Elsa smiled at the compliments before turning to Danny with a slight smirk. "It's so nice to finally meet you," Elsa said to Frostbite.

The ghost boy cleared his throat, "Uh, Frostbite, you remember what we talked about? The map?"

"Oh yes!" Frostbite's face lit up with excitement, "The map to help you travel to-"

"Ah, ah, ah!" Danny stopped him before giving him a look, "It's a surprise, remember?"

The ghost thought for a moment before nodding, "Oh indeed, my apologies. This way please." He lead the pair into a cavern to eventually come into a room, At the center sat a map that float with energy. "Here you are, Great One," Frostbite picked it up and handed it to Danny.

"Thank you so much Frostbite. I'll have it back by the end of the day like I promised," Danny said confidently, not wanting to recreate what happened the first time Danny was shown the map.

"I have faith in you Great One. Have a splendid day of Valentines!" Frostbite called as the pair turn to exit the cave.

Danny opened the map as Elsa peered over his shoulder. He glanced at her and tried to think of a way to tell the map where they were going without telling Elsa. He wrapped an arm around her waist as he turned to her, "Ready?" When she nodded, he looked back at the map, "Alright map, take us to Elsa's Valentine's Day surprise."

"You're such a dork," Elsa rolled her eyes good-naturedly as she felt the map pull them up into the Ghost Zone. They flew through the green vortex once more before going through a portal. They unceremoniously landed on soft ground and the portal closed behind them.

Elsa sat up and looked around, her lips parting in disbelief. She found herself in a wide field of tall green grass and wildflowers. The sun shined brightly on the field and, in the distance, a cluster of brightly colored tents and buildings lit up the small valley. Even further across the hills, a stone city surrounded a towering castle.

"17th century England," Danny stated as he sat up with a smile, "The Summer Flower festival. I found it when I went on a mission for Clockwork and you're always an expert when it comes to history and well… I thought you would like it."

She looked around with wide eyes before turning back to him. She threw her arms around him and peppered his face with kisses, her hands holding his face in place as he laughed at her. "Oh, Danny," she said as she planted a hard kiss on his lips, "I love it."

His entire face lit up at her excitement. "Come on," he said as he tucked the map securely into his belt, "We need to find some clothes so we can blend in. Don't want to spend all day up on this hill."

"Oh, I don't know," Elsa pretended to think for a moment before shifting closer to him and turning his face back to hers, "I wouldn't mind staying up here a little longer."

Danny's cheeks turned red at her implication but he wasn't given the chance to respond. Instead, her lips gently slanted over his and all rational thought was gone from his mind. All that mattered was her and the smell of the wildflowers around them as he pulled her closer. She cupped his face as she moved into his lap, his head tilting back as she deepened the kiss.

"Mother look! There are two people in the fields!"

They broke away from each other looked up at the sound of a child's voice. Their eyes widened as they met those of the horrified woman before them, the older girl who stood beside her staring as well.

Acting quickly, Danny grabbed Elsa and pulled her down to the ground, the tall grass hiding them from plain sight. He quickly turned invisible and launched them both up into the sky. He flew them toward the town and landed behind a stone building. They both turned visible and shared a look before bursting into laughter.

"Did you see their faces?" Elsa giggled as she leaned against the wall.

"Yeah, it was like they've never seen anyone kiss before," Danny laughed as well.

She shook her head, "Danny, it's the 1600s."

He just laughed again, "Oh right. You think, for how long I've been planning this, I would catch on to some etiquette."

Elsa shrugged it off before giving him a look, "How long have you been planning this?"

"Longer that I should have," Danny said with a tired look in his eyes.

She gently pressed a kiss to his cheek as she laughed. They then turned invisible to "borrow" some clothes. Elsa was usually against Danny's antics but he promised her that they would return everything before they left. They were soon both dressed. Danny, now back as Fenton, stood in black trousers, boots and a white lace up shirt with a black vest. Elsa wore a simple white cotton dress with a blue lace up over corset and blue flowery designs along the skirt.

After finding something decent to eat, they walked to the festival hand in hand and began to enjoy the music, dancing, and market that was available, not really minding nor caring about the looks they received. "Oh my god," Elsa smiled mischievously at him as they passed a few vendors, "Can we be that couple?"

"Whatever you want princess," Danny said with a smile as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders, "This is your day."

"Our day," she corrected him, "Today's not just about me. You're having fun too? Right?"

"This is gonna sound super cheesy," he cringed at himself, "But any time with you is fun for me."

She shook her head, "You're right. That was cheesy." He laughed at her bluntness before she smiled up at him, "But incredibly sweet."

He was about to reply when something caught his eye at the vendor behind them. A nice leather bound journal. He immediately thought of Jazz and knew she would like it. "Hey," he said to Elsa, "I think I saw something Jazz would really like. You don't mind if I go grab it would you?"

"Not at all," she waved him off, "Go ahead. I'll wait over here by the musicians."

They parted ways as a lavishly decorated carriage arrived at the festival. Neither Danny nor Elsa paid it any mind as it stopped and the rustling of chain mail on soldiers as they marched through the square sounded in the air. But everyone else watched as the king stepped out of the carriage and looked around, his eyes landing on Elsa.

A guard was quickly sent over to her with strict instructions. Elsa looked up curiously at the man who stopped beside her. The man swiftly delivered the message: a proposal of marriage. Elsa just blinked back up at the guard and politely declined, making sure to stress how flattered she was when in reality she was kinda freaked out.

Now, Elsa was not conceded but she did think she was fairly pretty. However, she didn't think she was kidnapped-damsel-bride level of pretty.

The big burly man suddenly gripped her waist and threw her over his shoulder. "Hey!" she called at him, trying to struggle but not having much success seeing as she was much smaller than him, "Put me down! You can't just pick up woman and drag her off!" she paused, "Oh wait. England, 1600s. Crap."

As she was thrown towards the carriage, she looked around and drew a deep breath, hoping to catch the attention of the one person who could save her.

"Danny!"

His head snapped up at the call of his name and he turned just in time to see Elsa carried away. "Great, nice going Fenton luck," he groan to himself as he shook his head, "As cool as this era's buildings are, the whole 'women have no say in anything' is real problem." He glanced around and had to search of an area where he could safely go ghost. It took him awhile but he eventually ducked into a tent and changed before launching into the sky.

Elsa was steaming as a bunch of random women dressed her in a white gown. "This is ridiculous," she hissed to herself as she glared at her reflection in the mirror, "I mean, sure, yes, women don't have any rights yet but kidnapping a random 16-year-old off the streets to marry?! It's so stupid."

"Don't let the king hear you talking like that," one of the maids warned, "He will have your tongue cut off for such treason. Marrying a king is a privilege."

Elsa raised a brow before rolling her eyes, "A privilege I would gladly do without." She looked at the confused faces of the women around her. She couldn't blame them. In this time, security through marriage was one of the biggest successes a woman could have. Elsa just thought she would get through college before marrying. She decided to play it safe and comply with this whole wedding business, just until Danny could find her. She knew she wasn't in any real danger as long as she kept her mouth shut.

"Is everything alright, princess?"

Elsa turned when she heard the sound of King Richard's voice. Her anger flared when she heard the pet name he used. That was Danny's nickname for her and no one called her that but him. But she told herself to calm down as the maids left the room, some of them shooting her sympathetic looks.

She swallowed her pride and turned to face him. "Yes, my king," she nodded.

"I should think so," Richard laughed, "In a few moments we shall marry and you will become the richest and most powerful woman in all of England."

He wasn't an unpleasant man, if you exclude the whole kidnapping bit. And he wasn't unattractive, just… way too old for a 16 year-old girl. Elsa just nodded passively again, "Yes, my king… very exciting."

"And then tonight," he gave her a look as he strolled further into the room, "You will join me in my bed."

She swallowed the gag that bubbled up in her throat and just nodded again, "Yes, my king."

He looked at her for a long moment before a smile came to his face and his eyes lit up with childlike excitement, "And we're going to do it!"

Her eyes widened in confusion as he snapped his fingers and did a little dance. She watched him carefully as he looked back up at her, "And we're not just going to sit in bed and open gifts and talk about how much fun the wedding was, okay? We're doing-"

"Yep," she nodded, cutting him off but trying to contain herself from bursting out in a mix of laughter and yelling of how disgusted she was.

He smiled and bowed, "My lady." She offered him a shaky smile as he turned to leave the room but he stopped in the doorway. "I mean, of course, we're going to open some presents but then we're going to do it."

"Got it," she cut him off stiffly before the door closed.

She sighed heavily and glanced at the window, noticing the setting sun. "I swear, if Danny isn't here in the next few minutes I'm gonna-"

"Elsa?"

She turned around to find Danny Phantom's head phased through the wall. Relief immediately flooded over her at the sight of her hero, but she decided to tease him anyway. "You know, you usually don't keep damsels in distress waiting," she smirked as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Sorry," he laughed as he landed in front of her and rubbed the back of his neck, "The festival was so crowded and there was no place for me to go ghost or turn invisible and slip away without being noticed. And you won't believe how many rooms there are in this castle."

She laughed at him and reached forward to wrap her arms around his neck and pull him close. "Besides," Danny continued, "You're tough. I knew you could last a little longer." His eyes scanned over her, "You aren't hurt, right? They didn't hurt you?"

"No," she shook her head and smiled adoringly at his concern, "I'm alright now that my hero has rescued me."

He smiled back and leaned down to steal a kiss. After a moment, Elsa pulled away. "You know," she looked at him coyly, "When you invited me out for a Valentine's surprise, I didn't realize I'd end up in a wedding dress."

"Ha ha, you're funny," he rolled his eyes before he turned his attention to the white gown she wore, "But you do look beautiful in the dress."

Her smile turned genuine, "Really?"

"Really."

"Good because it was a nightmare to get on."

Danny let her go in order laugh as hard as he did at her comment. "I'm serious," she said but she couldn't help laughing a little at herself, "My god, the corset?! I can actually feel it crushing my ribs, it hurts. And they took my underwear! My underwear, Danny. There is nothing under this dress."

He was now hunched over with his hands on his knees trying to stop laughing. But wedding bells soon filled the castle as Danny paused. "We should probably get going," he said.

"Wait," she stopped him, "What if we taught the king a lesson about this kidnapping business?"

"I have no idea what you're getting at."

She shrugged, "I'm just saying that if some, oh I don't know, other worldly spirit were to state that kidnapping women is wrong? After all," she eyed him playfully, "What's more other worldly than a ghost?"

His interest peaked and he raised a brow, "I'm listening."

"I'm telling you Richard, I can't marry you."

Richard just laughed and shook his head as they both were escorted down to the chapel for the wedding by guards who were poised and ready should Elsa try to run away. "Oh darling, when will you learn? That is not your decision."

"Truly, I can't," she reached out and held his arm, stopping him at the entrance of the chapel. She looked around fearfully and leaned in close, "He won't allow it."

The king quirked a brow, "He? Who on earth are you talking about?"

"I dare not speak his name," she said uneasily, "But some call him the Phantom."

Richard shook his head, "Never heard of him."

Elsa thought quickly, "You would not have. All who have seen him have been slaughtered into silence. He is only seen when he wants to be seen."

"What does this have to do with you?"

She stopped to glance around that their surroundings again before turning back to the king, "A few months ago, a young man began to court me. He came from a nice family and he had a good temperment. Soon I discovered it all to be a lie. For when we pledged ourselves to each other, he revealed himself to be ghost. Hair pale as snow, eyes like emeralds able to glow in the dark," she took the king's hand, "I am pledged to him. He is very protective. I pray you don't find yourself at the mercy of his wrath. Please, release me."

Richard looked fearful for a minute before straightening up and fixing himself. "A clever ploy, my dear," he nodded at her, "But one that will not work." Suddenly, the point of a sword at her back made her step forward with the king in the wedding procession.

They stopped in front of the bishop and were instructed to hold hands. The bishop said the greetings and was finishing up the opening prayer when something crashed through the ceiling and landed on the long red velvet runway carpet placed at the center of the room.

Danny straightened up and glared at the king, his eyes fiercely glowing, "How dare you."

Elsa had to hide her amusement at Danny's tone. She'd seen him like this in battle sometimes but somehow, her sweet adorable boyfriend managed to look menacing.

"Guards!" Richard called.

Again, Elsa struggled to hide her smirk at Richard's feeble attempt at showing power and dominance. Danny easily defeated all of them, showcasing his abilities to the now frightened crowd.

His eyes turned back to the king as his feet touched back on the ground, "You dare steal away my damsel? You try to wed her as well? Learn this now, mortal. A kidnapped bride is illegitimate. I'd like the prompt return of my princess."

Richard stepped in front of Elsa in a semi noble attempt to protect her. "I warned you," Elsa was sure to tell the king.

Danny merely shot an ecto blast at Richard's feet, knocking him away from Elsa without actually hurting him. He created an ecto rope, a nice trick he learned from fighting Vlad, to snatch Elsa's wrist and pulled her towards him. She landed in his arms as was immediately brought to his chest. "Are you alright, my love?" she heard him ask.

She looked up at him as she felt his hand gently caress her cheek. And in his eyes she could see his genuine emotion and adoration and it made her heart soar. "Yes," she nodded breathlessly.

He turned back to the crowd and the king with a harsh glare before raising his hand to the sky and blasting another hole in the ceiling. "Heed this warning," he declared, "Think twice before you kidnap someone lest you face the wrath of another world."

He quickly took Elsa in his arms and launch up through the ceiling into the sky. As soon as they were back in the very field they had arrived in, Elsa finally let a smile onto her face as he set her down. "That was quite the performance, Mr. 'Fear Me Mortals.'"

He laughed at her as he took out the map, "I think that's enough excitement for one day."

"Danny can you please hurry? I'm feeling a little lightheaded."

"I'm trying. Ugh, how the hell did they get this on you?!"

The couple stood in Elsa's room. Elsa dress was opened in the back and Danny was fumbling with the laces of her corset. "Wait," he said was his fingers looped around some laces, "I think I've… Got it!"

Elsa sighed in relief as the constricting material loosened around her waist and chest, "Oh my god, thank you." She twisted around a few times and cracked her back before turning, grabbing some clothes from her closet, and going into the bathroom to change.

Danny sat on the edge of her bed with a sigh. He couldn't help but feel a little guilty about what happened that day. What if she had been hurt? What if he hadn't gotten there in time? He was pulled out of his thoughts when the bathroom door opened again, revealing Elsa dressed in sweatpants and one of his Dumpty Humpty band shirts. His heartbeat sped up a bit as she walked over to her closet, attempting to hang the wedding dress up.

"Well, I'd say today wasn't a total bust. I mean," she shrugged as she finally got the dress to stay on the hanger, "I got a really sick Halloween costume out of it so I'd count that as a win."

He smiled at her and stood. "Listen Elsa, I'm really sorry about the whole, you know, kidnapped bride thing," he rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, "I really thought you would like a surprise. A surprise wedding? Not so much."

She laughed and shook her head, "Despite the brutal reminder of the lack of women's rights in the 1600s," she gave him a gentle smile, "I had a lot of fun today. Even if it wasn't totally planned, I'd say we had one heck of an adventure," she shyly took his hands and stepped closer to him, "This is the kind of thing that, years from now, when we may or may not still be together, I'll remember and still smile about," she kissed him tenderly, "Thank you Danny. Today was wonderful."

Danny beamed at her, ecstatic that she liked the surprise he had been planning for a long time. He kissed her once more before changing into Phantom. "As much as I love being your hero," he joked before he gave her an apologetic look, "There's a certain town that needs to be patrolled before curfew."

"Go on," she smiled, "Go protect the town." He gave her one last kiss before turning intangible and flying through the ceiling and into the night sky, his heart soaring with him.

Elsa stared at where he flew for a moment as she felt her heart calm down. After an exciting day, she decided to turn in early. But as Valentine's Day came to an end, Elsa couldn't get something off her mind.

When Danny addressed her at the castle, he had called her his love.
