Without further ado, let the chapter begin!

It was the middle of the night and Rosie was sound asleep in her bed. She's been improving with her sleep schedule ever since Van Kleiss was captured. It seems her mind is finally at ease. This is what she needed.

However, a tiny hand slowly creep close to Rosie's face. Before the hand could poked Rosie's face, Rosie immediately woke up and grabbed the hand's wrist.

After Rosie grabbed a shuriken from under her pillow with her free hand, she raised it up in the air.

"Its me!" Ava squealed as she fell backwards.

Rosie looked startled and quickly put the shuriken away as she was fully awake. She rubbed her eyes tiredly when she got off of her bed. "Ava, its 3 A.M. What's wrong?" Rosie frantically asked as she picked up the little girl.

"There's a monster in my closet." Ava whispered.

Rosie immediately set her down and grabbed a baseball bat from under her bed. Rosie held it tightly in her hands and said, "Let's go."

Ava followed close behind Rosie when they approached her room. They stared at the closet door, Rosie slowly approached the door and opened it. She looked around but stared up at the ceiling.

"Nope. Nope." Rosie said, she immediately closed the door and hurried to pick up Ava.

Ava looked scared and whispered, "Did you see a monster?"

Rosie ran out of the room and said, "Even worse! A spider! DADDY! There's a spider in Ava's room!"

"So did you really?" Farron chuckled while they were painting their ceramic boxes.

They are in their art class, both Farron and Rosie finished firing their boxes. So their teacher told them to glaze their boxes so he could put a clear coat. Then it would be placed back in the kiln and be fired again for it to be finished. While they were painting their boxes, Rosie was telling Farron what happened last night.

Rosie giggled, "I'm not lying. Dude, my parents came out running thinking that there was an intruder. But they got the spider out of the closet. Ava had to sleep in their room for the night."

"You two are spoiled." Farron joked.

"I wouldn't say spoiled." Rosie admitted and smiled as she finished painting one of the sides of her box.

She turned the box to show the Batman side. Rosie looked at the small containers of glaze paints. Before she could grab the black and yellow containers, Rosie and Farron were surprised to see Ryan standing in front of their table. "Um...is this seat taken?" Ryan asked as he pointed to the empty chairs at the table. Farron frowned and was about to tell him to leave when Rosie stopped him.

Rosie looked at Ryan and said, "You can sit here. But we don't want any troubles with your girlfriend."

"Suzie's not my girlfriend anymore." Ryan whispered and sat down beside Rosie.

Farron glared at Ryan, he didn't like how Ryan could waltz back into Rosie's life without thinking about all the bad things he's done to her. However, Farron knew that Rosie was too nice to give Ryan the cold shoulder.

Rosie admitted, "I'm sorry to hear that Ryan. Do you want to talk about it?"

"Not really." Ryan quietly said and looked at Rosie's box. She looked at Farron, they both had mixed emotions about Ryan. Rosie sigh and said, "Ryan, what's this about? Be honest."

"I just want to be best friends again, if that's okay with you." Ryan hopefully said.

Rosie twitched slightly as she held her paint brush tightly in her hand. She set it inside the cup of water near the paint containers. "I don't think that's such a good idea. We can be friends, but best friends...that might not happen."

"Considering that best friends don't choose a random girl they just met, who keeps picking on Rosie every chance they get." Farron glared.

Rosie started to shrink into her seat when she felt the tension building up in their table. She warned, "Hey, don't start fighting. The last thing we need is for Mr. Nelson to send us to ISS."

"He started it!" Both Ryan and Farron yelled while pointing at each other.

"Knock it off you three!" Mr. Nelson warned at the trio. Rosie slapped her forehead in misery, she gave the two boys a dark glare. Causing them both to immediately shut up and start working on their projects.

Aaron could feel still feel the burning daggers on his spine when he was looking for a tuxedo with Six. After Rosie finally found the right dress with Rebecca last weekend, Six offered to take Aaron to the store to find the right suit for Prom. Rosie and Rebecca thought nothing of it since they thought it would be a perfect time for Aaron and Six to bond a little.

However, when Aaron set foot into the car, Six has done nothing but glare at him.

"Sir, you known me for almost three years now. Why are you like this?" Aaron winced and turned to face Six.

Six's face darken a little and said, "Just because I've been your mentor, doesn't mean that I'm on board with you dating my daughter."

Aaron silently gulped, he knew that Six is still protective of Rosie. He thought that there was a chance that he might calm down after he started dating Rosie, but Aaron was horribly wrong. So wrong.

"Sir, I would never hurt her. You know that. I won't pressure her into doing anything-"

"I know that, because if you tried anything. Then things would start getting ugly." Six remarked while Aaron tried not to look terrified. Aaron went back to looking at the suits and said, "Even though you're glaring at me right now. I'm still thankful you're helping me find a suit."

One of the reasons Six decides to help Aaron find a suit was because of William. Ever since William came back to Aaron's life, he still wasn't fully committed into being there for Aaron. The bond between father and son has been destroyed three years ago. So Six stepped in to help Aaron find a suit. He knew Liam wouldn't be much help for him, neither would William.

"I figured you didn't have any suits for a special occasion like this." Six admitted while Aaron's face became bitter for a moment.

Aaron mumbled, "I did had one suit. But it doesn't fit me anymore."

"It was for your mother's funeral, wasn't it?" Six guessed.

Aaron stayed quiet and grabbed a suit from the rack. He speed walked to the dressing rooms and slammed the door shut. Six quietly sigh, Aaron still didn't like to talk about Camila. There were times where Aaron would act like a completely different person when someone mentions his mom. When Rosie first met Aaron, she would try to ask him questions about his past. Those first few times, Aaron became cold and stayed away from her.

It wasn't until Six had to talk to Rosie about Aaron's past that she decides to back off.

A few months later, Aaron finally started to talk to Rosie about what happened.

"Um sir? I might need help with the tie." Aaron said while he exit the dressing room.

Aaron picked out a grey suit since Sera told him that it would be the best choice. Since Rosie's dress is light pink, then wearing a grey would be a good match for the color.

Aaron looked embarrassed when Six notice the tie was in a messy knot. "How did you managed this?" Six asked and got the tie out of the knot. "Oh come on. I bet you had to help Rex a bunch of times when he tried to figure out how to tie a tie." Aaron complained.

"I only had to show Rex a few times before he finally figured it out. It just need practice." Six told him.

Aaron watched as Six was showing him how to properly tie a tie. Aaron would never admits this to anyone, but he always view Six as a father figure. For the past three years, Six was there for him when his own father wasn't a part of his life anymore. Sure Six looks like he wants to kill him for being near Rosie, but Aaron knew that it was because he loves and care for Rosie.

Six cares about his family and knew he would do anything to keep them safe. That's something Aaron could relate to. Especially when it comes to his aunt, little sister and big brother.

"Sir, thank you." Aaron said, he couldn't fully express on how he feels just yet. But Six knew what Aaron meant.

"No need to thank me Aaron." Six admitted. Aaron slightly smiled, maybe things were going well between them.

Six remarked, "You're still not off the hook yet kid."

Aaron spoke too soon.

Rosie focused intently as she stood on top of a log. She couldn't see anything since she's wearing a blindfold.

This was another part of her training, to focus on her surroundings without actually seeing with her eyes. It was taken place at the woods again, Rex was the one handling with her training. Six told him that Rosie better not come home with any bad injuries, or else he'll regret it.

Suddenly, Rosie heard something coming to her direction. She ran forward a little and did a few back flips. She narrowly avoided some large large rocks from hitting her. However, both of Rosie's feet didn't land on the log. Without thinking, Rosie quickly reached her hands out and grabbed onto the edge of the log. She tried to pull herself up and grunted when she didn't have much arm strength to pull herself up.

Rex used his boogie pack and flew down to grab Rosie from falling down from the cliff.

"Thanks Uncle Rex." Rosie gratefully said when they landed

Rex smiled, "Don't mention it kiddo. You almost gave me a heart attack there."

"Its not my fault. You were the one that insists we have training here." Rosie responded while she slowly sat at the edge of the cliff. She admired the view that they had from on top of the cliff. There was a many trees and she could see her home town from a distant.

Rex sat down beside her and ruffled her hair, "You were suppose to land on the log, but you missed. You never miss Rosie, is everything alright?"

Rosie didn't reply but started play with her class ring that's on her right ring finger.

Should she tell her uncle about what happened today? Would Rex tell everything to her parents after what happen? Then again, Rex can keep a secret at times whenever Rosie needs to talk to him about something. She looked at her uncle and sigh, "Ryan wants to be friends again...I'm still not sure if I'm making the right decision."

"Ah, the high school drama, Noah would tell me stories about this happening when he went to high school." Rex admitted and crossed his arms.

Rosie gave him a look and started to pout. "Hey, don't make fun of me. I need help here! You'll face this when your kids get into high school! Maybe middle school too..."

Rex looked down at Rosie and said, "And what's the problem exactly?"

"Well, part of me wants to be friends with Ryan again. We'll known each other since kindergarten and we've been through a lot together. He was my best friend and we originally wanted to go through our Senior year together. But...another part of me doesn't want to be friends since he did hurt me...I'm completely torn to pieces Uncle Rex. I care about him but its like I'm scared of being hurt again. What do I do?" Rosie whispered.

Rex didn't know where to begin with this one. He understood where Rosie was coming from. At the same time, he knew that she shouldn't be friends with Ryan again. The only problem is that Rosie has a good heart. This is one of the reasons why people would take advantage of her in school. Rex guessed he understands why Six and Rebecca were worried about her when she first started school.

Rex admitted, "You really want the truth? Well kid, I could tell you what to do and what not to do. The choice is up to you in the end, but let me ask you these questions kiddo. Do you see yourself still being friends after high school? And will Ryan find another girl and choose her over you? Realistically speaking, were you happier having him by your side or after you two stopped being friends?"

Those questions slowly lingered in Rosie's head. Deep down inside, Rosie has a feeling that she and Ryan won't be such good friends after high school. They might end up drifting away even more until they don't speak to each other again. Who's to say that Ryan won't find another girl and choose her over Rosie like he did with Suzie. The first few weeks were awful for Rosie after their friendship was over. But as time passed by, Rosie was building herself up and became genuinely happy.

She gained a new friend that she can count on, she finally has a boyfriend who'll love her, she has her family there to support her with whatever she does. What does Rosie have left to lose if things go badly with Ryan?

Rosie started to smile and hugged Rex tightly, "Thanks for the talk Uncle Rex. That helped a lot."

"Don't mention it kiddo. This gives me a little experience so I know what to do when Raffy or Vi needs to talk about something like this."

"Well, I'm glad to be a good practice for you." Rosie giggled as they got up and made their way to her home.

That's it for chapter 36! I finished this on my way home from my little vacation. I'm still about an hour away as I post the chapter lol. This was a perfect time to start typing my story so I don't have to think about being hungry or needing to use the restroom until we get to the gas station to refill.

Thank you for the last review in the last chapter YellowAngela! I did enjoy my little vacation with my family. We stayed at a cabin and it was fun. It did help me come up with some ideas for my stories. Honestly, I feel like writing in between stuff is the only way I can get my stories done lol. As for school, it was unavoidable that this would happen. We have almost most of the students staying at home to do their school work. So I can imagine the WiFi might have been doing crazy during school time. I'm glad you like the little backstory with Aaron, we will see a little more of it later. I will definitely make sure that Aaron and Rosie will have more moments together :3 Let's be honest, Six wouldn't be happy even those he knows Aaron. XD But who else would be worthy of his little girl? lol

I'll do my best to post the next chapter. I need to see how school is going for my brothers since its the second week...maybe things will get better XD Stay safe out there everyone and have a great evening. :)
