Without further ado, let the chapter begin!
Rosie started to write down some more notes in a custom made notebook. She looked at the files on her desk and scribbled down the kids' names in order.
Aidan, Blake, Carlos, Debbie, Edgar, Franklin, Gracie, Harper, Inca, and Janet.
The kids weren't arranged by their ages, they were arranged by the first letter of their names. It was easier for Rosie to remember their names this way. Rosie started to mark down some easy notes besides the names.
In the journal, Rosie started to scribble some important information.

Rosie finished writing her notes and started to rubbed her eyes tiredly. She heard a familiar knock on her door and smiled softly.
"Rosie! Mommy said its time for Family Movie Night!" Ava said from behind the door. Rosie stretched her arms out and yawned, "Give me five minutes. I'll be downstairs. What are we watching tonight?"
Ava happily told her that they were watching Doctor Strange. Rosie waited for Ava to walk away from her door, she closed her notebook and sigh quietly. She glanced at her phone and smiled when Aaron send her a link of a funny video.
"I love you, you dork." Rosie giggled softly and puts her phone in her pocket. She got up from her chair and left her room. It's good for Rosie to take a little break and Family Movie Night is always her favorite reliever.
Whatever unfolds for the kids, Rosie can tell that they'll be in good hands.
Aaron watched the kids having fun around the petting zoo. The kids were given permission to use their powers while they played. However, the only condition is that they are careful with their powers and not harm anyone here.
He was glad to have a few agents helping him monitor the kids.
Inca was already flying up in the air and kept avoiding any trees that were in her way. Debbie pet a small bird on her finger and was trying to talk to it. Janet was talking to Calan about something important with Edgar kept teleporting near them.
Gracie was mediating by herself near the waterfall and tried to keep her focus. Aidan was trying to play with Harper in a playpen that's right beside Aaron.
Since both Aidan and Harper are the youngest, they have to be together all the time.
Aaron noticed Carlos and Franklin were talking to each other while they sat on a log. He did noticed that Blake wasn't around. So Aaron touched his earpiece and said, "Sir, do you have visual on Blake?"
"He's hiding in the air vents again." Six responded. Aaron frowned, "Again?"
Blake seems to be the outsider in the group of kids. Rosie was the one who pointed out that Blake doesn't interact a lot with the other kids. The only exception is Harper since she's a baby. Most of the time when Rosie isn't around, Aaron notices Blake goes off to do his own thing when its free time.
"I'll get Blake out." Aaron added and approached the nearest vent. He carefully opened it and spotted a pair of dull green eyes.
Blake blinked and stayed far away from Aaron's reach and asked, "Is free time over?"
"No. Blake, get out of the air vent. Come on." Aaron complained and reached for Blake.
The young boy walked a bit further back and whispered, "I want to stay here until free time is over."
"You need to make some new friends Blake. Come here now." Aaron sternly said and went into the air vent.
Blake remarked, "You're going to get stuck."
"That won't happen." Aaron promised until he couldn't move anymore.
The young agent immediately knew what just happened. He started to groaned quietly and struggled to get out.
"Aaron...are you stuck?" Aaron heard Rex asked and he could tell Rex was trying his best not to laugh.
The kids heard what was going on and they hurried to check on Aaron.
Debbie gasped, "Mr. Kitt! Are you really stuck?"
Aaron muttered under his breathe and Blake grinned, "Yeah he is!"
A few of the kids started to laugh or giggle at Aaron. Debbie and Gracie hurried to grabbed each of Aaron's legs to start pulling him out. Rex started to help the girls and kept pulling Aaron to free him.
Blake started to climb out through a different air vent and looked at Six as he crossed his arms.
"Is there a reason why you're in there most of the time?" Six asked.
The young boy wasn't afraid of Six but stayed quiet for a moment. Blake watched Aaron getting pulled out of the air vent and the kids started cheering.
Blake whispered, "I like being alone. I was always alone until I ended up here."
"You don't trust anyone, do you?" Six guessed and watched Blake flinched a little.
Before Blake could try to say anything, Aaron said, "Alright kids, let's get back inside. Rosie wants you guys to at least do fifteen or thirty minutes of reading."
"I don't know how to read." Blake admitted and Aidan said, "Me too!"
"Mr. Kitt, can you read us a book?" Debbie suggested.
"I think we might need to split the kids into little groups to help with their training." Rosie suggested while she was in a meeting with her parents, Rex, and Aaron.
They were in the meeting room as Rosie and Aaron were discussing about the kids. Aaron notices that both him and Rosie can't help the kids with the same techniques or advice.
Each child is different and they need to be given special attention if they are to improve well with their powers or learn how to control it. So Rosie was the one to suggest that they split the kids into different groups.
"So you're giving me Inca and Edgar?" Rex asked while he was reading the papers that Rosie gave him.
Rosie skimmed through her notebook and replied, "I think that both Edgar and Inca will benefit from you helping them. Edgar's power is teleportation while Inca's power is summoning different parts by command. You can strengthen Inca's skills and help Edgar figure out how to use his powers. In the paper, I color code the notes with what's their strengths, weaknesses and what's needed to improve on. The things you need to focus on is already highlighted. So you don't need to read all the pages."
"These are great notes. I can see why you earned those straight A's." Rex said while Rosie smiled brightly.
Aaron grinned and teased, "If she got anything below an A then she would a nervous wreck."
Rosie gave him a look but started to focus on the meeting.
"Aunt Circe said she would help out and she'll get Carlos and Debbie. Uncle Rex, you two will have your first group to train. Make sure to give Aunt Circe the files on Carlos and Debbie when you get home." Rosie said.
Aaron stepped in, "Sir, you and I are going to have two kids to focus on. Franklin and Gracie needs us to focus on them individually. We feel like Gracie could benefit from your training. I can help Franklin's training."
"The rest of the kids will be staying with me and mom. We need to figure out about Harper's powers and figure out why is Janet randomly turning invisible without her command. Aidan and Blake seems more comfortable around me so I'll give them a little attention." Rosie added.
"Have you created a schedule for the kids? I don't want them to keep messing around and not do anything." Knight said as he appeared on the screen, causing Rosie to jump.
She quickly grabbed a binder and flipped through a couple of pages.
"I'm still working on that. Most of the kids should be between Kindergarten to 5th Grade for their education. So I need to work on that. Debbie is suppose in 7th Grade so I need to figure out her schedule separately. Aidan and Harper shouldn't be a hassle since they aren't ready for school just yet. Blake is 4 years old, so I might have to get him started with preschool work. Just give me time to figure out a proper schedule for the kids." Rosie insisted.
Aaron explained, "Sir, we have five kids staying at Providence full time while the rest are here from Mondays through Fridays at a specific time. With the exception of Harper who's here from Mondays to Wednesdays. So its difficult for us to give them a proper schedule."
"Yeah. We can't give them all nine hours or work. They need time to relax and be kids." Rex argued.
"I expect this to be done by the end of week. No exceptions." White Knight sternly told Aaron and Rosie before he ended the call.
The young couple looked at each other before they placed their heads against the table in unison.
"Don't worry you two. I can help out with the schedule. I did help Rex with his homeschooling, so this should easy to get everyone into a schedule." Rebecca promised as she tried to reassure Aaron and Rosie that everything would be okay.
Rosie lifted her head up and smiled gratefully at her mother. She whispered, "Thanks mom. I didn't expect all this work in such a short time."
Rex went to ruffled Rosie's hair and playfully punched Aaron's shoulder as he said, "We believe in you two. Don't worry, we'll try to find a few people to help with the kids soon."
"Hopefully it doesn't take that long." Aaron mumbled and rubbed his eyes.
Rosie giggled softly and glanced at the ceiling for the moment. She stared at the familiar dull green eyes through the air vents. Blake quickly retreated back and quietly left through the tunnels. Rosie admitted, "We can't rush these kind of things Aaron. Besides, we still need to help a few of these kids once we find suitable employees to help take care of them."
"Rosie, don't get too attached to the kids." Six warned.
Rosie raised her hands up in defense and nervously smiled, "You're acting like I'm going to adopt them all or something."
Rex joked, "Well, you never know Rosie. Life can throw a few things at you, you would most likely adopt a kid if it were up to you."
"Be quiet." Rosie smiled and punched Rex's arm.
That's it for chapter 40. We're already at 40 chapters, I'm surprised I made it this far. But I wouldn't have been without the support from you guys for reading, reviewing, and putting this story as your favorites or putting it on your alerts.
For that, I would like to give my thanks to YellowAngela, SparrowSky1, Silvanna Nightlight, Tara Mccann, and alexberto2508. Thank you so much for supporting this story, I wouldn't have gotten this far without you guys. Thank you an infinity times! :D
Thank you for your last reviews on the last chapter YellowAngela! Rosie is definitely on a different adventure but that's the fun part. Just imagine when she goes to college and is on her own. Now that will be another adventure to go on. And I love writing down the kids, they hold a special place in my heart. I just imagine Six and Rebecca would still be protective of Rosie even though she's almost 18 later on. No matter how old she gets, she's still their baby. Luckily, Rex is there to help Rosie out in any way. I'm truly sorry that your city isn't doing so great. I hate to admit this but this virus won't get going away anytime soon. In a few days, where I am, the county is going to lift the mandatory mask rule. I don't think that's a good idea at all. We need to do the safety protocol and take care of ourselves and others around us. I can hope we can get through this but this will take more time for this to happen. I hope you're doing well YellowAngela and good luck with everything.
My only advice to everyone is remember to wash your hands, keep your distance when you're in public, and I recommend wearing a mask whenever you're out. Try to do things that can help ease your mind off of things. Whether it be reading, writing, drawing, painting, playing a game or going enjoying nature, or watching a video. We need to take breather from what's going on. Eventually our world will be getting better.
Until then, stay safe everyone and have a great night! :)
