Without further ado, let the chapter begin!
Having ten kids with powers is something that Providence could handle. But adding in three more children who has experience with their powers might cause some issues for the organization.
Especially when the kids are Rafael, Violeta and Ava.
"Violeta! Get over here young lady!" Rex warned as he quickly chased after his daughter while she ran with a few of the kids.
Rex accidentally tripped when Janet stuck her foot out as she was invisible. The young girl giggled when Rex went sliding on his face and he stayed on the ground. Violeta turned around and giggled, "Sorry daddy!"
Circe was with Rafael and the other kids. She started to crossed her arms and smiled, "I thought you said you could handle the kids?"
Rex grumbled from the ground but summon his boogie pack, "You kids are in trouble now."
"Run!" Violeta laughed and the kids started running away from Rex.
Rafael watched the madness from a distance with Debbie, Gracie and Harper. Debbie held Harper on her lap and said, "Is your sister normally this crazy?"
"She's only like that on Fridays." Rafael admitted and then noticed something.
"Mom, I think we're missing Ava." Rafael added but Circe smiled, "She's with her parents at the lab. Rosie needs to talk to them about something important."
Rafael nodded and looked at Aaron. He was talking to an air vent. Now there's something you don't see everyday. But Rafael looked surprised when he noticed someone opened the air vent. Blake crawled out and allowed Aaron to pull him out. Aaron carried the child to the small group as they watched the 'fight' going on.
"So Rex can handle saving the world from a worldwide plague but when it comes to a bunch of kids, he's defenseless?" Aaron asked.
Circe replied, "Fighting a bunch of bad guys are easy, you can't fight a bunch of kids."
Aaron chuckled faintly but he noticed Carlos and Edgar quickly grabbed Rex by the legs. They fell down on the ground while Franklin and Inca hurried to pinned Rex's arms down and Aidan toddled to him and immediately sat on his chest.
"We win." Violeta smiled brightly and gave Janet a high five. Even though Janet wasn't visible yet.
"Kids, what are you doing to my uncle?" Rosie called out when she walked in the Petting Zoo with her parents and Ava.
The kids gasped and quickly got off of Rex.
"Nothing!" They all said in unison.
Rosie raised an eyebrow and she started to cross her arms, "I leave you kids alone for five minutes and this is what happens?"
The kids smiled innocently and Rex started to sit up. "Oh, they were just little angels." Rex sarcastically told Rosie.
Rosie helped him up and she made her way to Debbie and grabbed Harper.
"Aidan, Carlos, Edgar, Janet, it's time to go home." Rosie told the kids.
The kids started to winced and complained as they didn't want to go home just yet. Aaron calmly said, "Don't worry kids, you guys will come back on Monday."
"Can't we stay here? Why do Blake, Debbie, Franklin, Gracie, and Inca stay here every day?" Janet complained.
Rosie answered, "Their parents or legal guardians gave them permission to stay at Providence 24/7. With the exception of certain days. Don't worry kids, nothing much happens on the weekends."
Aaron motioned for half of the kids to line up. He set Blake near the rest of the other kids.
"Come on kiddos. Time to head home." Aaron sternly said and made sure the kids were ready to go.
"Can I go with you too?" Blake whispered to Rosie as he tugged on her sweater. Rosie ruffled his hair, "Sorry Blake, maybe next time."
Blake slowly nodded and jumped when Violeta grabbed his arm, "Come on! We're going to play tag! Let's go!"
Zane hurried down a dark hallway as he started to charged up his hand. He made a sharp turn and hid around the corner. Not wanting to reveal this location, Zane tried to regulate his breathing and pulled out a communicator.
"Biowulf, we need to fall back right now. Tell Skalamander and Breach to retreat now." Zane quietly hissed.
There was a loud static noise in the communicator.
Zane immediately frowned and heard noises coming from far away. Knowing that he didn't have time left, Zane made a run for it down the hallway. Not wanting to waste more time, Zane quickly tried to dialed another number.
However, a large tentacle grabbed Zane's wrist and yanked him back.
Zane grunted quietly, he frantically started zapping the octopus EVO with his powers. The EVO kept attacking at Zane without mercy while it screeched loudly.
Without hesitating, Zane started to electrocute the EVO and stumbled back. He wasn't sure what went wrong but Zane wasn't ever going to back down.
When Zane spotted more EVOs coming in, he immediately made a face.
"Fuc-" Zane began but someone pulled him back and he fell into a familiar portal. He hit the ground with a thud and looked relief. "Took you three long enough. What happened out there?"
"We were ambushed. It was obviously a trap." Skalamander complained as Zane stood back up and dust himself off. The young man looked drained and exhausted, his hands were trembling and he hid them in his jean pockets.
Zane mumbled, "Great. Did we get any valuable information?"
"Negative. The only thing we got is coordinates to where there's more EVOS appearing." Biowulf told him and Zane started to trembled weakly and fell forward.
"Zaney!" Breach screamed and they hurried to check on Zane. As Breach pulled his hands out of his pockets, they noticed the injuries he had.
His fingers and hands were covered in scorched marked and were charred. There was some bruises and scabs on his arms. Zane was shivering violently and started to curled up in a ball.
Zane mumbled, "I-I'm fine. I just need to rest. For now, just do whatever you want. I'm going to my room."
Zane stumbled up and tried to walk into his room, his body was almost giving out. As he hurried to his room, Zane slammed the door and leaned on the wall. He looked down at his hands and glared.
"This is what happens when you try giving someone nanite abilities..." Zane muttered and continued to shiver.
Ava was poking her food with a fork as she wasn't feeling hungry at the moment.
For the past few days, she has been having this weird feeling in her stomach. At first, Ava thought it was the jitters of going on her field trip. But this feeling never went away.
"Ava, are you okay sweetie?" Rebecca said and touched her forehead.
Ava looked up and noticed her family was looking back at her. She glanced back at her food and whispered, "I'm not feeling well."
"Are you sick?" Six asked and Rosie looked worried.
This made Ava lightly pushed the plate a bit further away from her. She shrugs and asked, "May I please be excused?"
"Just eat a few more bites and you can leave." Rebecca whispered and that made Ava eager to leave. She quickly ate a few more mash potatoes and left the dinner room.
Rosie leaned back in her chair and frowned, "If I didn't know any better, I think Ava might know that's something is going with Zane."
For the past two weeks, Zane has gone MIA with the rest of the pack. There was so sign or activity with any of them and everyone's wondering if they were planning something. Rosie was trying to find out what happened to Zane.
Zane hasn't done good thing in the past but he's been trying to redeem himself in Rosie's eyes. He has made an effort to try and repair his broken relationship with Ava. They have a long way to go but Rosie has notice a small improvement with the former villain.
However, Rosie will still have her guard up around Zane. He's still unpredictable and he wasn't sure what he wanted to do.
Zane's on the thin line of being either good or bad. Rosie guesses that he might end up being a vigilante.
"Hey mom, have we found any potential candidates that will replace me?" Rosie asked and tried to finish the food on her plate.
Rebecca smiled, "Do you remember Sarah Meechum?"
Rosie stopped eating and looked up at her mother. She looked excited and replied, "Heck yeah I do! Sarah was my babysitter when I was growing up. She would always take great care of me and would help me with my homework whenever you and dad were away. Wait, she's one of the candidates?"
"Of course she is. Rex was the one who recommended Sarah for the job. We contacted Sarah to see if she wanted the offer. She told us that she would gladly take the job once she finishes her last semester for her degree." Rebecca said.
That made Rosie feel a lot more better knowing that someone trustworthy would be looking after her kids once she leaves. Sarah was an incredible young lady and Rosie was sure that Rex made the right decision recommending Sarah.
"Wait, are you two still going to Brazil with Uncle Rex next week?" Rosie said.
Next week, Rex, Six, and Rebecca were going to Brazil to obtain some nanite samples. The Amazon Jungle is receiving more activities of nanite activity and Rebecca is going to figure out why. But the mission is probably going to take the whole weekend.
Aaron suggested to the parents that they should leave Rosie and Ava with him at Providence while they take care of the children. He told them that they would be safe since the kids won't be doing any training or school work.
Rosie was more than happy to spend more time with her kids before she has to leave them in someone else's care. But she will make it a point to visit them whenever she can.
Six immediately frowned and warned, "We're still going. But I'll have agents watch over you and Aaron while we're away."
That made Rosie turned bright red and mumbled, "Dad! We're not going to anything bad! Gosh..."
"Six, you need to have more faith in Rosie and Aaron. They're responsible enough to not do anything reckless or irresponsible. Besides, I made sure Rosie had the tal-" Rebecca began and Rosie covered her face in embarrassment.
Dinner for the Kitt family was getting more tensed than usual. Sera glanced at her nephews and niece carefully before she looks back at her former brother-in-law. No one talking and she wonders if she should ease the tension.
"So...Aurora, how was school today?" Sera smiled awkwardly.
Aurora whispered, "It was good. Ms. Kelly let us have some free time today."
"That's good." Sera admitted and ate a little bit of her salad.
William looked at his youngest son and started to cut his steak. "So Aaron, have you broken up with the young lady?"
Aaron immediately dropped his fork and glared darkly at his father. Sera and Aurora braced for the worse while Liam grabbed Aaron by his shoulder to prevent him from attacking.
"What's your problem? We're still together and everything's working out great." Aaron muttered and clench his fist.
William ate his steak and took him time to give a response. That annoyed Aaron and he trying to calm himself.
"All I'm saying is that you might get yourself in trouble since she's still a minor." William tried to reason with him.
Sera stepped in and argued, "Both Rosie's parents approve of their relationship Will, Rosie will turn eighteen in May. The only way that Aaron will get in trouble is if things get sexual. They're not thinking about anything inappropriate."
"I liked his ex better than this one. She actually met with all my standards." William mumbled.
Aaron got up from his chair and yelled, "Then your standards are low if that's the case! Rosie is beyond perfect! She's kind and selfless, people take advantage of her because of that! You don't know her but she knows about you! Do you have any idea how much she has helped me? She's the reason why I started talking to you and Liam! She knows about what you did this family but she insisted that I try giving you and Liam a second chance! Now, I'm started to regret ever reaching out to you."
Aaron stormed out and Liam tried to follow him. Sera told Aurora to go to her room and gave William a look.
"I think you should leave now." Sera whispered faintly.
William frowned, "I'm only looking out for my son."
"There's a difference between looking out for someone and looking to cause trouble." Sera said and started to leave to comfort Aaron.

Thank you for your review YellowAngela. I know how you feel, that might be Rosie's downfall one day if she isn't careful. But for Zane, I'm trying to keep him in the neutral side for the time being. We'll see what his true intentions are in the later future.
There's a surprise I had planned for when I update chapter 50, but I noticed I might not make it in time for Christmas. So if I don't make it to Chapter 50 before Christmas then I will post the surprise on Christmas Day. I'm sure you'll love the gift :3
Thank you for being patient with me, I'll be on Winter break for a few weeks after my exams are over. But I will start the Spring Semester around the first week of January.
