Hello everyone! Just a couple of thing to say before the start of the chapter.
This chapter will contain the use for every spells & skills for those who are unfamiliar with the Dragon Quest franchise and when it was introduced but I'm 70% sure there is some error inside so try to understand if you see one.

Dragon Slash: Dragon Quest VIII Sword slash that's 50% more effective against dragon monster apply to dinosaur as well on one enemy
Buff: Dragon Quest II Boost one ally defence by 2 stages
Metal Slash: Dragon Quest VIII Sword slash that kill instantly any metal monster doesn't work against machine monster
Zap: Dragon Quest III Launch one skyfire against every enemy
Midheal: Dragon Quest I Heal 75 HP minimum to one ally or yourself

The group of seven stayed inside The Great Valley for a couple of days because monsters keep trying to attack the other dinosaurs inside, because of that they are Level 9 now, and they are currently talking to their parents.

Cera: "It's tough for everyone, even for me!"
Meanwhile Grandpa Longneck was running towards them with a tragic news that he learned from the dinosaur concerned by it.
Grandpa Longneck: "Everyone…I…have…a bad news!"
Mama Flyer: "Catch your breath before"
Grandpa Longneck: "Sorry about that! Two Egg Stealers have taken one egg from one of the Swimmers family!"
Mama Swimmer: "Oh my! If that had happened to me I would be very sad!"
Grandpa Longneck: "The mother and his mate tried to beat them but they were defeated, they also said that they were stronger than normal Egg Stealers, I think it's the work of Him!"
Littlefoot: "It's possible! Do you know where direction the Egg Stealers are leaving?"
Grandpa Longneck: "She said that they see them runs toward the Secret Caverns"
Chomper: "That's great! Me and Ruby know the Secret Caverns like the back of our hands, we will find them quickly and I can smell them too!"
Their parents: "Good luck young ones!"
The kids: "Thanks!"
The group of seven made their way toward the Secret Caverns, they take a couple of hours inside the cavern until they found a large room that is well lit by a hole in the ceiling, when they enter the room a conversation between two dinosaurs was heard.
?: "I can't believe that we can't eat the egg, he knows that I eat that!"
?: "He said that it will be useful to him so you can't brother!"
?: "Well whatever use he has with it we can't stay here forever so the rest is over, nom move!"
Littlefoot: "STOP YOU TWO!"
The two Egg Stealers heard the scream of Littlefoot and walks into the light with the egg.
?: Well, well, well it's not the five little brats and the baby Sharpteeth and it seems they have grown since!"
?: And they have a new friend! A female Fast Runner from the smell it seems!"
The two Egg Stealers were none other than Ozzy and Strut.
Littlefoot, Cera, Spike, Petrie & Ducky: "You again!"
Chomper: "Huh…guys what are they talking about?"
Ducky: "When we were 2 Cold Times old, these two came inside the Great Valley and steal one of my Mom eggs and run toward the Mysterious Beyond with it, we run after them because we saw them do it and we thought we have lost it forever with them after a rock slide occur"
Ducky: "We were sad until I found your egg and we thought we save the one we were after but when we came back to return it the first egg has somehow return by itself which mean we don't what was inside of your egg"
Ducky: "So we hide it and wait until you hatch to see which kind of dinosaur you belong to bring you back to your parent, you hatch and saw that you were a sharpteeth so we were scared but after the shock we try to raise you but it was difficult for us because we were kids"
Ducky: "Then they return but they are scared by your shadow and flee, then your parents shows up and fight the grown-ups but they flee because the grown-ups were to many, when they flee we were almost sure it was your parents that came here for you but apparently you were sure it was your parents because you run after them"
Ducky: "Then Littlefoot run after you to help and he brings you back to your parents but when he return toward the Great Valley these 2 show up again and want revenge against Littlefoot, apparently you saw that and went toward Littlefoot to save him, when you show up again they are scared by your shadow but they remember it was just a baby sharpteeth and pinned you down but your parents saw that and run after them with you, we thought we will never see you until we went in the Mysterious Island and you know the rest afterward!"
Chomper: "Well there's one thing I want to say to you two is thank you! It is because of you that I'm the nicest Sharpteeth around but I can't let you have this egg!"
Strut: "He would kill us if we don't bring back this egg!"
Ozzy: "Leave now! We are much stronger now thanks to Him, you have no chance against us now!"
Cera: "If it's a fight you want, we are ready!"
With that said the battle begins, when the battle menu appears the group leans toward each other to talk about a plan in silence.
In the first 2 turns Petrie drop the defence of Ozzy & Strut, Ruby use Buff on Petrie in the first turn and on herself in the second, Chomper use 2 Propeller Blade on Ozzy, Littlefoot, Ducky, Cera & Spike attack Ozzy on each turn.
Turn 3 to 7 Petrie uses Sizz against Ozzy & Strut every turn, Ruby use Buff on Ducky on the third turn, use it again on Littlefoot on the fourth turn, and use it again on Chomper on turn 5, and use it again on Spike on turn 6, and use it again on Cera on turn 7, Chomper use 5 Propeller Blade on Ozzy again, Littlefoot, Ducky, Cera & Spike attack Ozzy on each turn again.
Turn 8 to 10 Petrie uses Sizz against Ozzy & Strut every turn again, Ruby use 2 Woosh against Ozzy & Strut, Chomper use 3 Propeller Blade on Ozzy again, Littlefoot, Ducky, Cera & Spike attack Ozzy on each turn again, Ozzy faint when he take the last hit.
Strut: "Brother! This is bad for us!"
Turn 11 to 13 Petrie uses Frizz against Strut every turn, Ruby attack Strut every turn, Chomper use his last 3 Propeller Blade on Strut, Littlefoot, Ducky, Cera & Spike attack Strut on each turn.
Turn 14 to 15 Petrie uses Frizz against Strut every turn again, Ruby & Chomper attack Strut every turn, Littlefoot, Ducky, Cera & Spike attack Strut on each turn, Strut faint when he take the last hit while the group is still mostly healthy and reach Level 10.

The kids: "We did it! We saved the egg!"
Meanwhile Ozzy slowly raised himself from the ground and said in his mind.
Ozzy: "Well I don't care anymore! I will eat the egg now!"
When the group turned again to take the egg they saw Ozzy running toward him, everyone shouts no unable to move because they imagine a scene where Ozzy opens and eat the inside of the egg in their mind, everyone saw that in their minds except for Chomper.
For Chomper it was as if the scene was in slow motion, his predatory mind said only one phrase "Need to save egg no matter the cause!"
Suddenly Chomper charged toward Ozzy with his claw glove raised and with speed he thought he will never see himself reached before that, he then jumped and makes a diagonal strike toward Ozzy and scream.
Chomper: "NEVER!"
His mind returned to normal and now he see and hoped that Ozzy will be fast enough to dodge the strike, however do to the fatigue and the fact that the strike came from behind him Ozzy just have the time to turn around before the strike cut his throat, if Ozzy has stayed like he was the strike would have cut his back.
Ozzy then hit the ground with his back and grab his throat with his two hands in a attempt to save his life but you all known it was too late, his brother runs toward him to grab him and said.
Strut: "No! brother!"
Ozzy weakly turns his head to see Strut one last time and said.
Ozzy: "This is… the end… for me… brother… sorry I… wasn't kind… toward… you… because you… like… leaf… better!"
Then Ozzy closed his eyes forever, he was dead which make Strut cry.
The group is sad to see that, even if they were Egg Stealers loosing someone you care very much can touch everyone, everyone except Chomper because he was in a blank state right now, Ducky then went toward Strut and said.
Ducky: "Sorry that he died so young, we will take the egg and let you bury him alone"
Strut slowly drops his brother body and while he continues to cry he said to them.
Strut: "Wait I can't go back to Him or he would kill me if I didn't bring the egg back and I know I can't beat you alone now, so please let me go with you!"
Cera: "Yeah come with us! I'm sure our parents and all the dinosaurs inside the Great Valley would love that!"
Littlefoot: "His brother said that he like to eat green food better than eggs, beside we already have Chomper and Ruby inside so if you promise that you will not eat eggs ever again we could ask our parents"
Cera: "Littlefoot you're serious right now?!"
Littlefoot: "I'm serious Cera! Everyone can change!"
Strut: "I accept and I will do everything they asked me to do! Just let me bury my brother here!"
Everyone else except Chomper: "We'll help you with that! It's the least we can do!"
The group and Strut takes a couple of minutes to dig a hole to put Ozzy inside and bury his body in the ground, Chomper is behind them still motionless.
Spike: "Now all we need is to find the way out!"
Littlefoot: "Wait! Ruby you said that I have a spell that was useful inside cave or cavern... what was it called again?"
Ruby: "It is Evac!"
Littlefoot: "OK everyone uses one of your hands or paws and grab my back with it then closed your eyes, we are going to be outside pretty soon!"
Everyone does what Littlefoot said to them which include even Chomper despite him still having a blank stare, then in a couple of seconds after Littlefoot closed his eyes too and concentrate to use the spell they were outside the Secret Cavern, when they open their eyes again Ducky said to the others.
Ducky: "Wow that was quick indeed yep, yep, yep!"
Littlefoot: "Now we need to make our may where our parents are right now!"
The group of seven along with Strut made their way toward their parents, when they saw their parents in their usual spot in the distance Littlefoot turns around to face Strut and said to him.
Littlefoot: "Strut hide inside this bush with the egg, I trust you enough to let you with it, when I said you can come out you do it ok?"
Strut: "Don't worry about it! I know it's going to be difficult!"
The group of seven made their way toward their parents, when they see them Grandpa Longneck greets them happily.
Grandma Longneck: "Young ones! Did you save the egg?"
Littlefoot: "Yes we did but when we were inside the Secret Cavern we also found one adult dinosaur that lost his brother which was his last family member because of Him, he has the egg right now and asked us to say if he can stay here"
Tria: "Oh! The poor thing!"
Grandpa Longneck: "Of course he can! Every dinosaur should not be alone when something like this has happened, let him come here!"
Littlefoot: "Ok! You can come out now!"
Strut heard Littlefoot and made his way slowly toward the grown-ups, when he is in front of them he said in fear.
Strut: " Hi I'm Strut… sorry about the egg!"
When their parents saw Strut, Mama Swimmer and Mama Flyer was the first to react and said.
Mama Swimmer & Mama Flyer: "It's one of the Egg Stealers!"
Mr Threehorn: "Let me at him!"
Grandpa Longneck: "Littlefoot what is the meaning of this?"
Littlefoot: "Please everyone listen to him before saying anything else"
Grandma Longneck: "Alright we are going to listen to what he has to say"
Littlefoot: "Thank you everyone!"
Strut: "I'm sorry for what we have done but it was Him who said that he needs one of a recent Swimmer's egg inside the Great Valley, he said that if we don't bring it back this one especially he would kill us, my brother Ozzy foolishly try to eat the egg after we lost to your kids but Chomper stopped him by killing him!"
Their parents: "WHAT?"
Suddenly Chomper drops to his knees and puts his clawed hands on his eyes, he start to cry and said.
Chomper: "I failed! I didn't keep the promise I said to myself!"
Grandpa Longneck: "Chomper what promise are you talking about?"
Chomper: "I always want to not harm any dinosaur because I want to stay out of my Sharpteeth nature as much that I can but now it's over!"
Grandma Longneck: "I know it's difficult for you but you save a life by doing that!"
Strut: "I'm also sad about him of course but if you have not done that you will not have been able to see yourself in the water again because you will always thought about what you could have done to prevent that, for that I will forgive you!"
Chomper: "Thank you Strut! You don't know how much this mean to me!"
Grandpa Longneck: "Strut! I think the best to show that you have truly changed is for you to bring back the egg to his mother and his mate, then you can live here if all of you are okay with that of course!"
Strut: "Of course I will do it! It's the least I can do to show you my word!"
Mr Threehorn: "This is ridiculous!"
The parents of the kids, the group of seven and Strut made their way toward the mother nest to bring back the egg, when they arrived at the spot the mother greets them and said.
Mother Swimmer: "Oh your back! Did you save my egg young ones?"
Grandpa Longneck: "Yes! In fact they have brought one of the Egg Stealers, him and his brother was working with Him but his brother died when he try to eat your egg. If he comes back to him he would get killed so he asks our kid if he can live here, I said that if he brought your egg to you to show his word then he can live here!"
Strut: "I'm sorry for what we have done! I will take full responsibility of our actions toward the Great Valley!"
Mother: "I'm still angry toward you and you brother but since you brought my egg back I forgive you and I'm sorry about your brother"
Strut: ""Thank you Madam! You don't know how much this mean for me!"
Their parents, the group of seven and Strut then returns to their spot, when they are all here Grandpa Longneck turns around to face Strut and said.
Grandpa Longneck: "Me and all of us will show you where everything is inside the Great Valley, also you will have to sleep with Chomper and Ruby inside the Secret Caverns because this is where all the Sharpteeths live if it's alright with you?"
Strut: "If it's all that I need to do to live here, I will do it! Thank you for everything you did for me!"
And with that said everyone inside the Great Valley continues to do what they want to do for the rest of the day until the parents of the group of seven called everyone inside the valley for a meeting to inform all the other dinosaurs about the situation, some were not very happy because another Sharpteeth will now live with them inside the Valley but when Grandpa Longneck tell us what have happened they all accept him.
Next time on The Land Before Time : Journey to save the Great Valley a flying rock falls from the sky which blocked the Thundering Falls again, the flying rock was acting weird so Grandpa Longneck thought it was the work of Him so it is up to the group of the seven to free and return the water to the Great Valley.
