Hello everyone! Just a quick note that more OC will be introduced I will not tell more that some of them have a connection to Light while others don't with that said onto the next chapter.

Chapter 6: Water problem

During night that follows the rescue of the egg, all the weapons and the shield of everyone changed except for Ruby's weapon.

The next day after the group of seven have save the egg from the two Egg Stealers, Grandpa Longneck have called all the dinosaurs inside the Valley to a meeting to make Strut officially joined the Valley herd like any other leaf eater that asked to live here until the current menace was over, he has almost finish his speech and said.

Grandpa Longneck: "And now to make Strut an official member of the Great Valley, we will the Valley song!"

(For Dragon Quest fan you will love this!)

All dinosaurs except Strut: "Strut joined the Great Valley!"

After the meeting was over the group of seven were talking to each other about the situation from yesterday.

Cera: "Why do you think Him needed that egg? It is harmless now and even later when he hatched"

Littlefoot: "I don't know Cera, it's a true mystery"

Ruby: "We'll have to wait for the egg to hatch before we can know! We can't know until he hatched!"

Meanwhile Grandpa Longneck has made his way toward with news about the egg.

Grandpa Longneck: "Greeting young ones! I have news about the egg, the mother has search it to find if any damage was done to it but fortunately the egg has none so she was glad for that, anyway she asked me to tell you to come see the egg hatching and she especially asked Chomper to come because she has a favour to ask him apparently"

The kids: "Ok we're coming!"

When they arrived at the mother nest spot, she and his mate greets them and the mother said.

Mother Swimmer: "We are glad that you accept young ones, it should only be a couple of minutes before the egg hatch!"

The group, the mother and his mate only need to wait a couple of minutes until finally the egg begins to crack by itself, seeing this the mother said to his mate.

Mother Swimmer: "Here it come honey!"

Father Swimmer: "I can't believe it is happening!"

The egg opens and reveals a female Swimmer baby, she was making baby noise and chirped happily at her mother and father, when they heard that they come to her and said.

Mother Swimmer & Father Swimmer: "She's beautiful!"

Then her mother happily grabbed her slowly to play with her and said after seeing her reaction.

Mother Swimmer: "She likes to play that's for sure!"

The group of seven has a smile on their faces when they see that, the sight was just so adorable, then the mother stop and said.

Mother Swimmer: "Chomper can you come closer, it's about the favour!"

Chomper slowly makes his way toward the couple and said to the mother.

Chomper Swimmer: "What can I do for you madam?"

The mother comes closer to him and said.

Mother Swimmer: "Here take her a moment would you?"

Chomper cannot believe what he have heard the mother said, a Leaf eater that he barely knew trust him enough with her only child, truly this must be a dream he said in his mind, he then said after recovering.

Chomper: "You sure madam?"

Mother Swimmer: "If you didn't save her she would not by our side today, my mate and I tried many Cold times to have eggs but every time I didn't laid any egg, we were slowly loosing hope and thought one of us have a problem, then last Cold time I laid her and we were so happy because we would become parents but when she got grabbed we thought we lost her forever until all of you save her. I thank all of you for that but I especially thank you Chomper"

Chomper: "I just failed my promise to never hurt or killed another dinosaur while I live here and will do the same when I'm older"

Mother Swimmer: "Well I can't tell how hard it is to fight instinct like you do every day but you save a life so your crime should be forgotten! Now here grab her please"

Chomper did what he was told and softly grabs the female baby Swimmer before saying to her softly.

Chomper: "Hello little one! I'm Chomper the friendly Sharpteeth!"

To his surprise the baby isn't afraid of him despite being a Sharpteeth, instead she chirped at him like she has done to her mother and mate.

Father Swimmer: "I think she likes you Chomper!"

Then Chomper notices something inside of the eggshell the baby hatch from, he reach to grabbed it and shows it to the rest of them.

Chomper: "Look! What is that?"

Chomper showed to everyone a small but perfectly round red thing that was inside the egg.

Ducky: "It's beautiful yep, yep yep!"

Cera: "Do you think that this was the reason Him asked the Egg Stealers to steal the egg?"

Littlefoot: "It's possible! I have never seen something like that before"

Spike: "We should keep it agreed?"

The rest of the group: "Agreed!"

While Chomper continues to watch the baby the mother continues and said.

Mother Swimmer: "As a thank you Chomper, my mate and I would like you to chose her name for us!"

Chomper is again shocked to heard what the mother said to him, he would do what his friend did for him several Cold Times ago, when he recover he said to her.

Chomper: "Well like my friend did to me I should name her for a thing she does and since she is a Swimmer, she's going to enjoy water the most so I need a name that will fit that!"

Chomper begins to search for a female name that fit what he said, it take him a couple of minutes to find one and said.

Chomper: "How about… Marina!"

A slightly loud chirp then came from the female baby Swimmer, when the mother heard that she said.

Mother Swimmer: "I think she like that!"

Father Swimmer: "Then Marina it is!"

And with that everyone enjoy the rest of the day happily, unaware that something is going to happen tomorrow.

The next day everyone was talking to each over at the Thundering Falls after they have eat their breakfast when suddenly they heard a loud sound that came from the sky, everyone turned to look at the sky to see what was going on, when they saw a flying rock coming toward them everyone is a little scared but strangely the flying rock then change his course and only pass above the Great Valley.

Then a couple of seconds afterward they heard the flying rock crashed in the distance because the sound could be heard even from where they were, they of course are relieved that the flying rock miss them but only a couple of minutes afterward the Thundering Falls begins to weaken until not a single drop of water dropped from the waterfall, when he saw that Grandpa said to everyone here.

Grandpa Longneck: "This has already happen before, all we need to do is to go where the Thundering Falls is above and find a way for the water to return here!"

Mr Threehorn: "That flying rock was strange, he was acting like something or someone was controlling it!"

Tria: "Do you think it's Him?"

Grandma Longneck: "if it is then it's up to you young ones"

The kids: "Don't worry we'll come back soon enough!"

The group of seven leaves the Valley and made their way toward the Thundering Falls from above and continues to find where the flying rock has landed, on the way strangely enough they don't find a single monsters, when they arrived at the spot where the water from the Thundering Falls was blocked off they look everywhere to see if they can't find any monsters or dinosaurs guarding the place but again they found nothing, they only take an hour before the water begins to made his way toward the Great Valley and when it's done Littlefoot used Zoom to return home faster.

All the dinosaurs inside are glad to see the water flowing from the top of Thundering Falls again inside the Valley, suddenly in the sky they saw a blue light that was coming toward them, they all hide to see what was that light, when the light landed on the ground softly the light slowly fades away to show seven dinosaurs figure.

The figure where none other than Littlefoot and his best friends, when the dinosaurs recognized their faces all of them returns to what they were doing, only the parents of the group came to talk to them and Grandma Longneck was the first one to talk.

Grandma Longneck: "Littlefoot! Young ones! You're back but what was that?"

Littlefoot: "Hello everyone! We're back! Sorry if we scared you!"

Grandma Longneck: "You didn't to my question young one"

Littlefoot: "I used a spell called Zoom, it made us return home super quickly!"

Cera: "I can't believe it! I fly!"

Petrie: "Me doesn't believe I fly this fast!"

Mama Flyer: "I think it was the spell Petrie, even adult Flyers doesn't fly this fast!"

Chomper: "That was fun! All of you were tiny like crawlers!"

Mama Swimmer: "Oh my! I don't like the sound of that!"

Spike: "Anyone have an idea why Him block water from Thundering Falls!"

Grandpa Longneck: "I think he tried to beat us faster by making us thirsty but you stop that from happening! if it is his fault of course"

And with that every dinosaur continues the rest of the day with peace.
