"Claire-san, take care of Metsurugi. Alicia, keep Iris safe. The rest of you, draw your weapons. Because... the counterattack starts... now." I pulled my sword out as my party members prepared to battle.

Hangeki wa kore karada~

"Whoops, I didn't mean to play that."

'What are you doing? Not this song, the other one.' I spoke to the subwoofers on a telepathic level.

"Huh? Are you kidding me? We had you heavily outnumbered. You think you can take us all on without using any highly destructive magic?"

Figuring we would be wasting precious time if we continue to respond to their questions, I took a few steps forward.

"Everyone, get him!"

I planted my sword onto the ground, brandished my brass knuckles as the subwoofers played the Opening for Choujin Masterforce.

I did a stance that would make a martial artist proud as the intro plays. And I start fighting against the monsters as the first verse came in.

Mou dare ni mo tomerarenai~

Inochi kaketa-

"Transform!" I shouted in sync with the song as the armoured blue trenchcoat disappeared.

Well, to be exact I shouted while the singer sang "Transform", I did that not because I wanted to sing along with the song, but that I think doing so would make the scene pretty badass.

...Yeah, I'm serious.

Anyway, the black and purple outfit began to materialise as the sword from the Light Core Outfit remained being planted into the ground.

Wait, what?! How come did the sword not disappear along with the Light Core Outfit?

This right there is a real head-scratcher for me, since the weapons should disappear along with its corresponding Core Outfit after all.

This is a rather unspoken rule since the day the Core System was born.

I will definitely take some time to get a deeper look into this, after we are done with repelling the intruders, that is.

Shounen wa ima senshi ni kawaru~

I took out a pair of kunai and ran around, killing some of the smaller monsters in the process.

Overlord found where I am and walked towards my way.

I then leapt onto the hilt of my sword as the armoured blue trenchcoat appeared on my body once again.

I somewhat did a handstand as I grasped the hilt, then flip and kicked Overlord in the face.

And amazingly, that moment occurred the exact moment the chorus kicked in.

Masterforce! Tatakau tabi ni~

"Quit running you little shit!"

Meanwhile, Iris decapitated a few more monsters standing in front of her.

At this point I am really confused about since when did she learn such skills. I mean, I can do that as well, but I don't have the impression of teaching her that.

Well, let's put that aside for now. I mean, we are still in the midst of a battle. Any irrelevant thoughts will cost one his life. And I wouldn't want that to happen on me.

Umare Kawatta Mabushii Sugata~

I defeated opponents left and right with my unique swordsmanship, magic and quick reflexes.

Go and Fight, misete yarunda~

Masterforce!

The music died out when I ran into a cloaked figure and fell over.

"Holy shit, did the subwoofers gone rogue on me or something like that?"

By the way, silence filled the entire room.

"Hmm? What are you all became silent for? I just ran into a cloaked figure, that's- What the hell is this?!"

It turned out it was Karu who was the cloaked figure, and has the Demon King Army's marking on him.

...

...

"This is a joke, is it?"

"...Well, no but actually yes."

One hour later...

We repelled the monsters after Karu left the scene.

This incident spread like wildfire, and reached His Majesty and His Highness the Crown Prince Jatis.

As a result, they returned to the capital and start their investigation on...

Not Karu of course, he escaped and there is nothing much we could do to locate him.

So, they began to conduct investigations on us, who formed a party with him. I was taken before the court as a result. Jatis and Iris sat by his side, meanwhile a magical lie detector was placed on my left.

It was a public hearing too, as far as I remember. So I guess that is exactly why I can feel malicious gazes behind me.

"Magic Swordmaster... I believe you are innocent in this matter. But I would have to ask you. Do you know the adventurer, Karu was a spy of the Demon King Army?" The King asked.

"Negative, Your Majesty. To be honest with you, I once have the suspicion of Karu is the spy. However, I have no idea that Karu was actually the spy." I replied honestly as I try to keep my head intact.

"Then why did you not report it to us, Magic Swordmaster? It wouldn't hurt you to do so. Do you have the intention to jeopardise the safety of the Belzerg Royal Family? If you do... It's treason then." Jatis questioned with a sharp stare.

Holy shit mate, to what extent do you really want me to be off without my head?

"That is because I have no solid evidence to prove he is actually the spy, Your Highness. I did not intend to accuse anyone or anything when there seems to be no evidence to back up the theory. Every adventurer is important to defeat the Demon King and bring peace to the world, even a weak adventurer, is a powerful asset and a factor that speed up the process."

"Are you saying that we are tools?!"

"You are the worst!"

The crowd of adventurers threw insults at me, due to their overthinking apparently.

They judged the situation without thinking the last time, and they overthought this time.

Seriously, what do people go so extreme when they think?

I know I maybe be one to talk in treating people, but not the thinking process all right.

Besides, no one is perfect. So I don't really wish to judge people.

I remained silent and did not respond to the adventurers after the King demanded silence.

"Your verdict will be delivered shortly. Until then, you are under the custody of the Astroraia House." The King adjourned the trial and left with Iris and Jatis.

Meanwhile, some knights moved forward and left the court with me as my escorts.

While we were walking towards the place where I am supposed to be detained, the front escorts stopped.

A knight turned around and handed me a letter.

Of course, as a result I opened and read it.

"Is that for real...?" I asked the knight with disbelief as I looked at him with a wide-eyed expression.

A/N: Finally... After all this time... I have made it. Thank you for your patience waiting for the 2nd part.

I would like to thank Luis, who made the most recent review. It is nice to hear that you enjoyed the story. Thank you for taking the time to read and give the story a review.

However, I would like to clarify things about Iris. I didn't intend to hit her with a nerf stick, she was nerfed due to the following reasons:

First, according to the Bond Rank 29 voice line in the game Konosuba: Fantastic Days! (Konofan for short), the line said "I am currently learning swordsmanship from a knight (most likely Claire, according to her bio in the Konofan official website), it is embarrassing to tell (you) that I am not yet proficient with a sword". From here, we can see that Iris was not skilled with a sword.

Then, in the series, Iris used three skills, namely "Exterion", "Sacred Explode" in LN Vol. 10, and "Sacred Lightning Blare" in the Explosions Spinoff, by which are all skills of mass destruction, with one reaching the power of a miniature nuke, one killed a golden dragon in one hit and one killed a griffon (or something like that, as far as I remember). It is true that Iris can solo anyone with her skills (I mean the opponent would be disintegrated without a trace in contact of the skills), but the Royal Castle and the capital are where the fights took place respectively in the recent chapters, this meant that the civilians to some extent are hostages as unleashing the skills on the spot will cause great casualties.

She is clearly "Strong, but unskilled", a trope in TVTropes - Her skills are strong, her stats are good, however she has to yet to know how to utilise them. This is the conclusion I reached after playing Konofan and reading the light novels.

But thank you for your suggestion nonetheless. I will try and give her more action time next chapter. And hopefully, I can show her growth from a mere user of the aforementioned skills, to a real (Magic) Swordswoman (considering the fact she can use magic as well) in the next chapter.

Once again, thank you for taking the time reading the second part of the chapter and please look forward to the next one.

We will definitely cross paths in the near future. (God that sounds chuunibyou af, but I like it)

Ahem- Anyway, stay healthy, and stay tuned for the next chapter.
