Alrighty this is the new chapter, nothing too big but it's here. No lemon, seeing how I tend to go into those a lot but I'm really trying to keep the plot. So here it is, kinda sad, hope you enjoy.

When Ruby heard the sounds of the door opening and someone going down the steps, unmistakably Jaune, she got worried and hoped this wasn't going to happen. But to her surprise, he just placed a blindfold on her, untied her restraints, and wrapped her in a robe. She was too scared to say a word and he just said nothing, he only guided her up the stairs and carried her bridal style. She was again surprised by him by this action, but since there was no harm involved, Ruby just wrapped her little arms around her neck.

She could just hear his smile.

With her in his arms, he brought her around the halls that she couldn't see. When they reached their destination, he sat her in a chair and bounded her wrist together behind her back. Caught off guard by this, she was finally brave enough to create words.

"J-jaune... What are you-" She would've continued if he hadn't placed a finger on her lips and hushed her. Without any words, she heard the sounds of drawers sliding, pantries opening, and the smell of cinnamon entered her nostrils. As Jaune came back to her side, she heard the sound of whip cream being sprayed.

"Open your mouth" He said bluntly.

She didn't want to deny any orders with the risk of being punished so she did as she was told. And as she did, she felt something creeping in, it smelt good so she bit down. And the taste was... Waffles?

It's been a while since she's had any food and she was starving since dinner... The dinner that got her here.

But she wasn't mad, her only complaint was that Jaune fed her the whole time instead of her doing it herself. She felt like a child again.

"Jaaaaune! Is this blindfold really necessary?" She asked annoyed by all this. Also hoping to hear his voice, not that she likeed to hear him speak or anything...

"Of course it is, it's just so you won't familiarize yourself with your surroundings and escape." He said a matter of factually.

"... You've been watching too many movies Jaune." She said terrified by his response.

"Not enough actually, I've been spending most of my years trying to make this moment happen. Also, nobody will be able to contact you since I've deleted your social accounts and changed your scroll number." He just said as he fed her another waffle bite.

"Jaune, you're a God damned psychopath!" She said out of anger at his actions, causing her to slightly choke on her food.

"Hmmm... Nope." He said with a smile.

"Nope?" Ruby asksed with a raised eyebrow.

"Nope. I'm just a smart man. And all these years of planning finally come to use."

"But what if someone finds out?"

"Nope!" He said happily. Making Ruby more confused.

"Ya know, you're not making any sense." She said with a done expression.

"Nope!"

"Ugh!"

"I'm just a lover Rubes, and it's no longer about me, you know why?"

"Because..." She tried looking for an answer.

"Because after all these years of planning I finally get to have you as my own. And I love you." He said before planting a kiss on her syrup layered lips. He pressed a lot of passion into it he couldn't help but keep kissing her. It was great, to have her in his house and do these things with him. He would've continued if there wasn't a knock on the door.

"What the? Who could possibly be here? I'm not expecting anyone." He thought aloud.

He took out his scroll and checked the camera feed for the front door, and couldn't belive his eyes. Of all the people in Remnant

It was Sun.

That monkey tailed blond bastard was at his door

The one that made his life angry

The fucking man- no, boy that stole his Rose instead of going off with Blake or whatever.

And he was at his door.

Oum dammit.

As the fiery rage of emotions that flowed through Jaune's veins and filled his gut settled,

He smiled. Or... Smirked.

"Let's not leave my guest waiting"

'But first, Ruby can't see this. Where to put her... Let's see... Ah! The closet.'

"Jaune what are you doin-" Ruby tried asking but was cut off as he tied a handkerchief around her mouth to work as a gag and hushed her again.

"I have to get the door real quick, I'll be back." He said in a reassuring voice and kissed her forehead.

As Jaune went to the door, he tried to slow down the gritting of his teeth as the anger returned.

When he opened the door, Sun was just standing there with a blank expression but gained a happier attitude when he saw Jaune.

"Sup Vomit Boy!" He greeted with a fist bump.

Jaune weakly returned the gesture without a response.

"So uh, this is like a serious thing but, do you know where Ruby is? She's kinda been missing and hasn't returned my calls. I tried the old crew but some are on trips and some don't know either. I'm not worried though."

'Some boyfriend you are then...'

Jaune wasn't a very talkative person but knew how to communicate easily, lying or persuading was a strong suit of his. And know the skills would be put to test.

"Hey Sun... I'm not sure what to say about your problem, but like you said, some people are on trips and she might be gone for a bit too." He said trying to hide a devilish grin.

"Yeah yeah, that sounds right. But she's still not responding and hasn't even told me about any huntress related business." Sun said sounding a bit relived.

Jaune knew he was fooled, now he went in for the kill.

"Who knows, maybe she got tired of you hehe." He joked, hoping it was true.

"Yeah right, like that'd ever happen. So anyways, now that I'm here you wanna hang out? Since Ruby isn't in danger and we haven't talked since the old days I'm willing to hang out for the week."

'Like I'd ever hang out with you'

"What?" Sun asked.

"Nothing! But I can't, I'm busy the whole week, document this and paperwork that yadda yadda. But maybe next time?" Jaune replied hoping Sun would leave already.

"Oh ok then, I'll just get going. But tell me if you see her man, see ya"

"Bye Sun you bastard..." Jaune muttered.

He closed the front door and went back to the closet where he left Ruby. Opening it, he brought her back to her chair and ungagged her.

"Sorry but I had to do that."

"Was that Sun?"

"... Yes it was." He said knowing he couldn't lie to her.

"Can't you at least try to be friends with him?" She asked

"What? After he stole you from me? No way"

"He didn't steal me Jaune, I chose him remember?"

"And that was my fault, I should've been upfront but I was too much of a loser I messed my chance up"

"Or maybe you should blame me, I never noticed your feelings and I broke your heart"

"Rubes, you know I can never blame you."

..."Maybe you should"

Jaune was in a swirl of emotions right now, guilt humiliation and sadness all filled his mind and he didn't know what to say. Maybe he was wrong? Maybe Ruby is in the wrong? But how could she be? He's the guy that captured her in his own house!

Before she could say anything, Jaune pulled her up and kissed her with love, while holding her waist against his. What made it better was when she actually kissed back and returned the feeling. Maybe she was liking it?

As he pulled back, he took off her blindfold finally to see her eyes that made him shiver so much.

"I just want you to know I love you and only you." He said panting.

"Well... You are a better kisser than Sun.." She said with a blush.

Jaune smiled at her cuteness. She was too much for him yet he wanted it all.

"So Ruby, I'll let you chose what we are going to do for today's fun. We can stay here and kiss or I can take you upstairs and..." He reached over to grab the can of Whip cream and sprayed a little on his finger and dabbed it on her lips, then licked it off afterwards.

"We could play with this and I can lick it off your body" He said with some seductive play in his voice. Causing her to blush up a storm that even went down to her neck.

Not hearing any response, he shook the can so she could hear.

"Sounds like you wanna go upstairs..." He teased.

"Ok we can stay down here!" She answered finally, flustered.

"If you say so" He said before going back to her lips. Savoring the flavor of cookies and strawberries he loved so much.
