So 3rd year comes around and it's actually a pretty normal year to say the least. Dumbledore finally told dad the truth. As to be expected, dad took it awful. I really sincerely doubt we'll be coming back for my 4th year since Dumbledore told dad at the end of the year. But let's back up to the beginning of the year.

9 Months Prior

A new girl transfers in from an American academy. She says her name is Magnolia and I could tell right away that she was hiding something. Something Big. Draco asked what brought her to Hogwarts and she replied that her dad wanted her to go to his alma mater. We asked what her last name was to see if we recognized the family name. She said it was Winchester.

We recognized the name instantly because her dad is a world famous dark wizards and dark creatures hunter. I replied with I have a friend who's a werewolf to see if she had her dad's mindset. She knew instantly what I was up to. She said her dad only kills the dark creatures that attacks people. We got to Hogwarts where she got sorted into Hufflepuff.

I instantly thought that was strange given her family history and apparently I wasn't the only one. Dad thought it was strange too. Over the course of the year, we became friends and hung out after classes were over for the day. I still thought she was hiding something big and I found out what it was unexpectedly one day.

One weekend, her dad came to visit her during a Hogsmeade visit. She met him at The Three Broomsticks where she introduced us to each other. Since she and I decided to hang out until he showed up. When he showed up, I bid adieu after we were introduced so they could catch up.

I was almost out the door when i realized I left my jacket on the back of the chair. So I went back to get it when I overheard a conversation I wasn't supposed to hear.

"Does she know? Does anyone know?. "No dad, no one knows why I'm really here. And I don't want them to know why I'm really here. Why do you think she suspects something?" "No I don't think she does. Just be careful and keep your head down." "Don't worry dad. No one will find out I'm here to kill Dumbledore so he will quit playing God once and for all to decide who should live and who should die."

I ran outside and down the street until I decided to stop running. I concentrated on catching my breath. I was caught so off guard by what I heard that I didn't realize my friends were beside me until Millie touched my shoulder. I jumped and looked up. They all asked what was wrong. But I couldn't answer them. How could I explain what I had heard?

After a while, we went back to the castle to hang out in the great hall. When Magnolia came back to the castle and joined us in the great hall, I just started feeling numb. Don't get me wrong, I hate what Dumbledore did, but I don't think he deserved to die. I asked Magnolia if I could talk to her one on one and she said sure.

I told her I overheard her conversation with her dad and told her she shouldn't kill Dumbledore because it was wrong despite what he was doing. She said I didn't know what I was talking about and the next day she withdrew from Hogwarts and went back the states.

It seemed like when she left no one but dad and I remembered her. Not even the other professors, Dumbledore included, remembered her. The end of the year rolled around, the exams were taken, and who should show up but Magnolia herself. I guess she showed up to do what she originally came here for, but I guess she was right. I didn't know what I was talking about.

For she didn't kill him, but rather warn him what would happen should he continue to use people for his own personal chess game. She then proceeded to tell him Voldemort was dead and all his horcruxes was destroyed so he had no reason to continue using people.

The next day, he told dad the truth, and two days later, we were all packed up and left Hogwarts. When we arrived home and everything was unpacked, my friends came to see me and asked me why we left before the end of the school year feast.

I told them what happened. All of it and they said they were sorry and that they were there for me. As for me going back to Hogwarts for my 4th year, well that's still to be determined.
