chapter 29:
It taken some time for Shawna Callahan to trust people again-after the time that her dad TC Callahan was shot at.
During that time-TC wasn't allowed back in surgery-because of medical issues.
Drew or Rick would drive him some where.
Brianna came into Drew and Rick's life 6 months ago was their adopted daughter.
Shawna was sitting at the table at the firehouse-working on some papers.
Lt. Matt Casey just wanted to make sure Shawna would be OK back at his firehouse.
(Flashback) 5 days ago
TC callaway was drinking some coffee at the kitchen table at the house. "Are you sure it's OK for Shawna to be back at the firehouse?"asked TC.
"we would love to have Shawna at the firehouse"answered Sylvie Brett.
"we would be there to help her"answered Stella.
"OK"answered Drew.
"we will make sure Shawna doesn't over do it"answered Kelly.
(End of Flashback)
Gabriella was worried about Shawna she hasn't touch anything at the table, slowly walks over and sits down. "Shawna! Do you want anything to eat?"asked Gabriella.
Shawna slowly looks up from working on some papers.
Kelly Severide had overheard Gabriella ask Shawna if she wanted something to eat.
Shawna shakes her head. "I'm not hungry"answered Shawna.
"Shawna you should eat something, sweetie"answered Christopher Herrmann.
Lt. Matt Casey walks into the kitchen to get something to drink.
Alarms sounded.
Gabriella and Sylvie left.
Shawna takes a sip of her apple juice. "I'm not hungry"answered Shawna.
"Shawna! You need to eat something-haven't eaten anything since this morning"answered Otis.
Shawna stands up from where she was sitting.
"Guys! Just stop it"answered Kelly.
"Lt. Shawna has to eat something, we do not need to explain to her dads she fainted"answered Christopher.
"Nor are we gonna force Shawna into eating anything right now"answered Lt. Casey turning away from pouring coffee-he could hear everything going on in the background.
Alarms sounded again.
Kelly, Stella and Matt saw Shawna tense a bit-when moving away from the table.
