Chapter 30:
Shawna knew it was her fault that Jordan Alexander Callahan was deceased, having nightmares again.
TC was slowly getting better each day, although his bedroom was still downstairs on the first floor of the house.
"TC! You need to talk to Shawna"answered Drew.
TC looks at Drew Alistar Lincoln. "About what?'asked TC
Samantha Lincoln-adopted by Drew and Rick 6 months ago. "Shawna is blaming herself over the death of Jordan"answered Samantha.
Matt Casey, Jay Halstead, Stella Kidd, William Halstead and Connor Rhodes they knew something was bothering Shawna.
Kelly Severide looks at Samantha. "How do you know this?"asked Kelly.
"Sleep walking at night"answered Samantha.
"Where is Shawna right now?'asked Rick.
"At the library"answered Matt Casey.
6 days later
Football game was going to be on.
Trudy, Joe, Mouch, Christopher,Kim,Adam, Kevin and some of the others were invited to the house.
TC was sitting on the couch-overlooking the patio.
Shawna was reading a book from the library.
"Shawna"answered TC.
Shawna looks up from reading the book. "Do you want something?'asked Shawna.
TC pats his lap.
Shawna moves closer to TC.
2 seconds later
Shawna was shaking in TC arms. "I'm so sorry"answered Shawna.
"Shawna! I do not blame you for Jordan's death"answered TC.
Shawna looks at TC. "You should blame me, Tessa went after our family"answered Shawna.
TC looks at his daughter. "I love you, Tessa over did it"answered TC.
Shawna gets up from sitting on the couch. "I should get the snacks ready for the guests"answered Shawna walking towards the kitchen.
15 minutes later
Drew and Rick asked TC.
"So how did it go?"asked Drew.
"OK! Shawna took it well, told her she wasn't to blame"answered TC.
3 hrs later
Shawna was in the kitchen working on something.
Samantha was getting a refills. "Shawna! Football game is on,everyone wanted to know where you were"answered Samantha.
Shawna ignores Samantha.
Samantha knew something at once something was bothering Shawna. "Shawna! Is something wrong?"asked Samantha.
Trudy and Kim come into the kitchen.
"Hey! Sam your dads were wondering where you went off too"answered Kim.
Sam-leaves the kitchen.
"Shawna! You can always come to one of us ladies if need anything"answered Trudy.
"Thanks"answered Shawna.
Trudy leaves the kitchen.
Kim sits down on a chair in the kitchen. "Shawna! You can let it out"answered Kim.
Adam ended up coming into the kitchen-sees-Kim holding onto Shawna in her arms.
He hurries back into the media room, pats Jay on the shoulders.
Jay looks up from drinking beer. "Adam! Something wrong?"asked Jay.
"It does buddy! It involves my girlfriend holding Shawna in her arms in the kitchen"answered Adam.
Jay heads into the kitchen
Adam and Will followed shortly.
Kim was standing up now.
"Kim! Where's our niece?"asked Adam.
"Upstairs"answered Kim.
Foot steps racing up the stairs.
Shawna was curled against a pillow on her bed.
