It's been two days since the attack on the UA dorms that sent our eight heroes on their own to the guild. And the effects have not just affected them, but the other students of the class as well. Who are not only worried about their classmates but also missing their presence within the dormitory.
"So bored!" The human lightning bolt that is known as Kaminari groans from the couch. Kaminari has gone on record multiple times in the past two days about missing his pranking buddies Mina and Kirishima as well as the target of their attacks, the hot-headed Bakugou. Without the three of them, He and Sero have found themselves without a lot to do besides play video games.
"Yes, we know, we heard you the first twenty-five times." The punk rockstar of the class Jirou hissed at her blonde friend. Jirou has probably been through the most in the two days since the departure of her friends. With her grades now being the second highest in the dormitory as well as her being way more approachable in the eyes of the students then Tsuyu, she has taken over the role that Midoriya and Momo would take as a class tutor. Something she is not at all used too, usually, she could rely on Momo, or Deku, or Iida to take on the burden of helping the class. However, despite the attack and the due date for the homework being pushed back, she found herself asked by Kaminari, Toru, and some others for assistance like every few hours.
She as well as found herself taken over Iida's role as the dorm's supervisor. Maybe it's due to her shortened patience or maybe she's just more irritated than normal, but she has found herself putting an end to Kaminari and Toru's prank quicker than normal. It's a lot of responsibility, and she can't help but miss Momo. Her best friend made it all look so easy, she can't help but feel like she's failing to live up to what she did when she was here.
"Can you blame him? The dorms just feel so much more empty without the others." Sero adds as he watches his friend get jabbed to death by earphones.
"Yeah, there's a lack of shouting going on that makes it seem off." Toru mentions before grabbing her face and wiggling in her seat, not that anyone can see her. "There's also a lack of love going on in the air. Without Uraraka and Midoriya, how am I supposed to get my daily dose of tooth numbing fluff."
"Forget that! Without the other ladies, the ratio of guys to girls has dropped to ridiculously low numbers! This isn't fair, why do the good things always happen to the hot guys!" Mineta shouts falling to his knees in pure exaggerated agony. Well, he does this before getting hit in the back by Tsuyu.
"I think there are bigger things to worry about Mineta." Said frog girl croaks to a few laughs from her friends.
"I just know Mina is having a ball. Not only does she get to see Uraraka and Midoriya fumble around each other, but she also gets to wake up to Todoroki everyday! Life isn't fair!" Toru whines gaining a few sweatdrops from her peers
"WHY DOESN'T SHE GET HIT!?"
"Shut it." Tsuyu states hitting him again gaining some more laughs from the remaining class
"I yearn for a world that values true gender equality." The grape headed boy mumbles under his breath and the room grows silent again
"Listen guys, I get that you miss them, I do too, but it's only been two days." Jirou points out to a bunch of mumbling and groans from her fellow classmates "We don't need them to have a good time."
"Is it really that hard to believe that we miss the people we've spent the better part of a year with?" Kaminari questions before once again catching a jab from an earphone much to his pain and annoyance.
"If you miss them so badly, just go visit them. They're like a five-minute walk from here, if that." The purple hair maiden scolded only to soon realize that she made a mistake and cover her mouth.
"Wait you know where they are?" Sero questioned, causing Jirou to sigh realizing that she's been heard,she gives up and just nods silently.
"CAN WE GO VISIT!" Kaminari and Toru boomed at Jirou tackling said girl from behind the couch "PLEASE WE'LL BE GOOD!"
"Momo told me where she was in case I wanted to visit to talk about homework. We can't just pop up on them for fun." She berates but is simply ignored
"I did make some cake last night," The mighty Sato declared, rubbing the bottom of his chin in an embarrassed manner"We could bring it over as a sort of housewarming gift. Since we have no idea how long they are gonna be over there."
"I also managed to find some things that belong to Uraraka that didn't burn in the fire. I would like to bring it back to her, if that's not too big of a problem kero." Tsuyu uttered and one by one the rest of the class started to come with excuses as to why they had to go to see their friends
"Come on Jirou please!" Kaminari screams at Jirou while pouting, a pout that Jirou would never admit is cute mind you.
"Ten minutes."
"HUH!?" The rest of the class questions before Jirou escapes from the grasp of the invisible girl and the human lightning rod, She stands up and heads over to the door dusting herself off.
"You guys have ten minutes. To get what you need or whatever you are bringing or to get ready. If you're a minute late you're not going." She sighs and almost in an instant the room is cleared of everyone besides Jirou.
Sero runs to his room and fixes his hair, he also grabs his video camera, hoping to get a prank on Bakugou before going back. Sato grabs his cake and some of the things he managed to bake for his friends. Tsuyu grabs a box labeled Uraraka before fixing her hair into its natural state. The others just manage to fix up their appearance and rush back to the room in the neck of the time. Jirou just opens the door and walks away and the others rush up to her.
"So where are they." Ojiro inquires and Jirou shows him the text on her phone
"About a 5-minute walk from Ground beta."
"That's if it's still standing," Sero laughed and Kaminari joins him "Knowing Bakugou that place is burned down to a crisp."
"Nah, he and Todoroki probably got into a fight and got kicked out."
"Iida would never let that, his willpower to keep everything in line would never allow that to happen." Shoji remarks and many just nods and agree
"You are all being so dramatic, there's no way anything bad is going on over there." Jirou berates
They eventually run into a pretty beaten down building, at least compared to the rest of UA. As they approach it they hear explosions and yelling from the inside of it, they all look between one another and gulp. Jirou reaches towards the door and knocks on it three times, no answer. She does it again to which she is greeted to no answer once again. She shrugs and tries the doorknob and shockingly enough, the door is unlocked and is able to be pushed open. With the door open they are greeted to a raging fire.
"IIDA WHAT DID WE TELL YOU ABOUT COOKING IN THE KITCHEN!" Midoriya shouts carrying a bucket of water from the upstairs
"I WAS TRYING TO MAKE CEREAL!" The class rep shouts back with his face in his hands
"HOW DID YOU SET THE KITCHEN ON FIRE THEN!" Momo yelled as she is using a fire extinguisher to attempt to put the fire out
"I DONT KNOW!"
"DAMN IT BAKUGOU STOP LAUGHING!" Uraraka boomed at the ashy haired boy who is laughing his ass off with Kirishima and Mina
"FOUR EYES IS FUCKING USELESS!" He remarks before doubling over in a fit of laughter
the rest of the class looks at this chaos and then back to Jirou "You were saying?" Kaminari says with a smirk
"S-sorry you all had to see that." Iida proclaims lower his head in shame
For the most part, everyone forgives Iida and even gives him a pep talk. Except for five students who are in the corner doubled over in laughter, clutching onto one another for five Kaminari, Sero, Kirishima, Mina and of course Bakugo.
"Great, the Bakusquad are together again, how charming." Uraraka mutters in annoyance
"Bakusquad?" Momo asks and Tsu jumps in
"It's what Uraraka calls Bakugou and his group of friends. Like a nickname."
"You have a problem with me Uraraka!?" Bakugou barks and Uraraka blows him a raspberry. The two glare at one another while the others exchange looks of confusion at the pair's actions
"Uraraka?" Toru questions
"Since when did Bakugou call you anything but round face? Heck, when did Bakugou call anyone anything but a disrespectful nickname." Kaminari says only to be hit in the back of the head by Bakugou who growls at him
"A-apparently Uraraka and Kacchan ran into each other yesterday. W-when they got back Kacchan just started calling her Uraraka. C-cool isn't it." Midoriya informed his eye twitching as he continued, voice cracking in an uncomfortable manner.
"So you two went on a -"
"NO!" They both shout at the lightning idiot who quickly realizes that his next words could be his last and quickly shuts up.
"Hm but it's funny that you call us the Bakusquad, because Bakugou calls your little group of friends the Dekusquad." Mina chimes in and Uraraka and Bakugou glare at one another again
"STOP COPYING ME!"
"Dekusquad?" Midoriya asks ignoring as the love of his life and his rival argue once again. "Whose in that?"
"Well, it's you, Uraraka, Iida, Todoroki, and Tsu. Since you guys always eat lunch with one another and all that jazz. " Mina responds back and the following students in question look at each and then back to Bakugou's group of friends.
"Weird." Eight of the ten members of both parties express. The other two, Uraraka and Bakugou, are too distracted flicking each other off to care
"If it's not one thing, it's another." Momo mumbles under her breath, however, this comment was only caught by two individuals. Both decide to keep it to themselves, those two being, Jirou, and Todoroki.
"Anyway, what brings you all over here?" Iida asks and Jirou smirks as the rest of the class gets nervous.
"They missed you idiots."
"JIROU!"They all shout at the girl who just shrugs
"Aw, we missed you guys too!" Mina yells jumping off of the couch with enthusiasm "Toru! I missed you!" She then tackles the invisible the girl and the two begin to cry into each other arms
"I also have some stuff for Uraraka, it's not a lot but I managed to find some stuff that you had from the wreckage." She hops over to Uraraka and hands over a pink box with her name on it. "I hope it's something important here." The girl croaks before the round face hero tackle her in a tight hug
"That was so nice Tsu! I LOVE YOU!" She says and the frog girl returns the hug tightly
"I also brought over a cake and some sweets, hope it's tasty!" Sato nervously declared handing the sweets over to Momo who happily takes it from the beefy man "I made it last night so no idea if it's any good."
"It's perfectly fine Sato, we'll enjoy it either way." The creation girl says with a bright smile that causes Sato to blush lightly "Anyway since you're all here, would you join us for lunch? I promise you it's not made by Iida." The black hair maiden announces much to Iida's disgrace
"I tried my best!"He whines
"So I must ask, how has living with one another been?" Tokoyami inquires leaning against a wall "We predicted that Bakugou would've burned this place down, but that doesn't seem to be the case."
"Yeah at this rate it looks Iida is gonna be the reason this place burns to the ground." Tsu jokingly says and the class president buries his face in his heads
"Well, on the first night it wasn't too bad, we played a game and got to know one another pretty well." Uraraka began getting the attention of the group "Yesterday was our first real day together I suppose. The morning wasn't too bad, Bakugou and Iida made us all breakfast, Deku also bought us frappuccinos, it wasn't too bad."
"Bakugou made breakfast!?" Toru shouted and Mineta can't help but to snicker
"Please tell me he wore an apron." Mineta begged between minor snickers
"Oh you know it."The round face girl proclaims with a smirk showing off printed off pictures of the boy in his cute pink apron
"So what about you Uraraka? How did you get that bump on your head?" Ojiro pointed out and the gravity user face turns a ruby red as she starts to stutter and loses her grip of the photos
"U-Um I h-hit my head pretty hard getting out of bed."
"Well that's certainly not like you, kero" Tsuyu commented
"Now that you mention it," A voice of a green-haired boy broke in causing the attention to venture towards the voice. "Uraraka was surprisingly missing yesterday morning. I usually go workout every morning so I didn't notice. But apparently the others went looking for her and she was missing." As Deku continued his investigation out in the open, Uraraka's body was shaking in embarrassment. The last thing she needed was people finding out she stalked Deku for hours yesterday without him knowing, or the fact, that she was you know, stalking Deku. "She came back a little bit after me but she seemed to know I bought everybody drinks, so I was kinda shocked because she wasn't there when it happened.
"Now that's quite interesting indeed." Tokoyami murmured under his breath not helping Uraraka feel any less on edge "So you're saying she was acting a little off yesterday, is that it?"
"I guess you could say that, I wouldn't say off more so strange?"
"Je vois, judging by the face you're making mademoiselle I think you're hiding a secret." Aoyama proclaims pushing his hair in the air in dramatic fashion. Uraraka looks at him in disgust knowing that the blonde boy is more than aware of her feelings for Deku and what he is insinuating.
"Guys, nothing happened," Uraraka began as she quickly tried to think of a lie "I was having an embarrassing dream and unknowingly floated up to my ceiling. I hit my head against it and it woke me up, I then released myself but ended up doing a faceplant against the floor. My head was in so much pain that I went to see recovery girl, and on my way back I just so happened to see Deku carrying the drinks. I was gonna go say something but he looked lost in his thoughts and I didn't want to scare him." She finished all of that in one go and let off a huge sigh of relief, however, everyone looked at her in confusion
"Uraraka, yesterday was Saturday, none of the pros were here. That includes recovery girl." Iida pointed out and in one sentence, Uraraka's lie was shattered
"W-well you see, um, funny story actually."
BOOM
All attention was taken away from the sweating profusely Uraraka, much to her joy, to the staircase. Over in that direction, you would see Kirishima, Kaminari, and Bakugou twisted and turned under a shopping cart with a heckling Sero on the stairs recording them. The tape boy is wiping off a tear from his face while his three friends are moaning in agony. Well two of his friends, Bakugou, were more so shouting for the two to get off of him than worrying about pain.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!"Iida shouts rushing over to the boys his hands flying all over the place "THAT WAS INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS, YOU'VE COULD'VE BEEN SERIOUSLY HURT!" Iida continues to lecture, Bakugou flicks him off and blows the cart into pieces
"Where did you even get a shopping cart." Todoroki questions, asking what everyone else in the house is currently thinking
"What's it matter to you Icyhot!" Bakugou shouts and Todoroki simply rolls his eyes, not caring to have this back and forth with Bakugou at the current moment.
"Bakugou your left arm, I don't think it's supposed to bend that way." Tsuyu points out and the blonde looks at it in disgust. During the landing, Bakugou had indeed landed in an awkward position, and due to Kirishima and Kaminari landing on him, his arm had gone limp. Hard to say if it's broken or not but it's definitely not good, Bakugou just rolls his eyes at his classmate's concern.
"This is nothing, I've been through worse than this, yo shitty hair use that quirk of yours." Bakugou proclaims and the red-headed menace looks at him in confusion before shrugging and doing as Bakugou says. Bakugou walks over to Kirishima and tightly grips his right shoulder, he then proceeds to bash his left shoulder into the hardened shoulder of Kirishima. He screams some insults during this time and most of the people who are watching are disgusted, but eventually, everyone hears an audible pop from his shoulder and Bakugou smirks. "There, good as new."The ignorant teen says punching the air with left arm to make sure he can still feel it
"Did he just-" Mineta begins
"Pop his shoulder back into place?" Sato continues and the rest of the classmates shivers in disgust
"Talk about manly!" Kirishima shouts before giving Bakugo a toothy grin
"That was metal as hell Bakugou" Kaminari admitted wiping some blood that was dripping from his forehead into his eyes. "But it was disgusting too, I guess it was Metgusting?Destal?Hm, what would the word be." He not given much time to think before Jirou stabs him in the eye with her jack and grabs him by the ear
"What did I tell you about being an idiot, Jamming-yay?" Jirou asks, rubbing the bridge of her nose in annoyance with her right hand. She continues to twist the Blonde hair boy's ear in the left, much to pain and dismay
"Don't be!"
"So why are you being one!"She shouts in his ear causing him to go temporarily death. She lets him go and he instantly goes to rub his ear which is as red as a tomato. "And now your bleeding, ugh, sorry about this Momo but can you help me patch up this idiot." She pleads which leads to a giggle from her taller friend
"Of course, Luckily I already made a first aid kit after Kirishima injured himself yesterday, come with me." She instructed and headed up the stairs, followed by an irritated Jirou and a scared Kaminari. As the three head up the stairs, everyone is silent, however, there is one question that is on everyone's mind that everyone is afraid to ask. Well everyone but one brave pink-skinned girl.
"So where did you guys get the shopping cart?
"Ah, that stings!"Kaminari winces in pain from the wet cotton ball drenched in alcohol touching the injured cut on his forehead
"If you weren't such an idiot this wouldn't have happened." Jirou says with a smirk as Kaminari just looks at her with pleading eyes "Thanks again Yaomomo, I would do it myself but you were always better at this than me."
"It's no issue, I like feeling helpful. Besides after the weekend, I've just had," She taps the bottle of alcohol against the ball making sure it doesn't spill on the floor. She gives a small satisfied smile before tapping it against Kaminari again "something like this is the type of activity I needed to do."
"As if!" Jirou argued with a click of a tongue. "Your Momo Yaoyorozu, there's nothing you can't do. You make everything look so easy, heck everything you do is easy. Personally I would die to be in here with you and not over there." She sighs while playing with her earphone jack with her right hand "You'd probably do it better."
"Trust me, I'm no one special, I have my own problems just like you." Momo confessed blushing lightly from all the praise
"No way! Your amazing, these last two days have been a chore. I've tried to be like you and Iida but I simply can't do it, I'm not as smart as you and Iida and I'm definitely not a role model like you. But you, you can anything like it's no problem!"Jirou blurts out all the stress from the last two days mounting up to her
"Jirou, I don't know what to say, but -"
"What a load of hogwash!" Momo is cut off by Kaminari who jumps up from the ground and grabs the earphone girl by the arms "Jirou, you're amazing too!"
"K-kaminari?" Jirou stutters out her face a mix of confusion and intrigue.
"You may not be Yaomomo, but you're amazing in your own way! You're super nice, and super approachable, you don't have to help, especially since we all kinda just came to you. But you do anyway, that's totally rocking." He flashes her a thumbs up and the girl is thrown off by this certain display of kindness from her friend
"Besides what I or Iida did was nothing special, we just extended a hand when we were needed. That's all you have to do, be there for them." Momo says giving her a smile of her own and Jirou isn't too sure
"B-but what if I mess up, I don't wanna be the reason someone fails, or what if I give someone the wrong advice."
"Then you messed up, but I'll be there to help you. No one's asking you to be like them, but if that's what you want I'll help go beyond that. Beyond plus ultra, that's what they say right." Kaminari gives her a toothy smile and Jirou face flushes and she looks towards the door in embarrassment
"Sure, Beyond Plus Ultra." She says and the two share a tender moment of Jirou being shy and embarrassed and Kaminari being hopeful and cheery. Yaororozu can't help but laugh at her friend's predicament
"Besides I'm always a phone call away, I'll help too. Isn't that what friends do?" She gives her a thumbs up reciting the words a certain class president told her
"Of course it is." Jirou says with an eye roll but a small tender smile.
After patching up Kaminari, the trio head back in high spirits. As they make it down the stairs they see the rest of the class in the living area sitting in a circle, their presence is first noticed by Midoriya who waves them over.
"Oh, you guys made it just in time! I made everyone sandwiches! It's not much but I hope you like it.''The bushy hair boy announces pointing towards the tray of sandwiches over on the kitchen counter.
"Ah, you made the lunch Midoriya? I was under the impression Bakugou would be doing the honors." Yaororozu asks and her freckled roommate shakes his head furiously
"He said since he's cooking dinner, he doesn't want to cook lunch. I may not be as good as Kacchan, but I can cook a little." He says and then you could hear an audible amount of sparks in the air
"Damn right you damn nerd!" Bakugou declares before taking a big bite out of the sandwich causing the others to sweatdrop
"Are you always so angry all the time?"Todoroki not so quietly questions and Uraraka snickers at the comment.
"Careful Todoroki, he might blow a gasket. The last thing we wanna do is piss off 'King Explosion Murder' now do we?" She says with a shit-eating grin at Bakugou, who does exactly as Uraraka says and blows off a handle. Meanwhile Todoroki and Uraraka silently fist bump a job well done.
"To be fair bakubro, King Explosion Murder is a really bad hero name you know."Kirishima agreed which leads to a bunch of murmurs and nods from his peers. This resulted in him getting even more ticked off
"Not like you bunch of losers could do much better!" He shouts attempting to silence the room
"Not that much harder to do better than King Explosion Murder." Sero acknowledged only to catch a flying pillow to the face from Bakugou. This reaction leads to a series of laughter from his classmates as the tape boy tries to escape the wrath of his angered friend.
"But really what would be a good name for Bakugou?" Mina questions out loud
"Oh how about -"
"One that isn't an insult Uraraka." Iida says cutting her off much to her annoyance as she sighs with anger. "You too Todoroki." Iida says not even looking at the young man but knowing he was planning to continue his friend's line of thought.
"How about Landmine? Since one wrong word to the guy can lead to him going off." Kaminari states and that leads to some nods from his group. Sadly Bakugou does not take very kindly to his comment and now Sero and Kaminari are running around the house trying to avoid his wrath. The rest of the house ignore this behavior.
"I mean it works but it doesn't really sound all too intimidating you know? The explosive hero: Landmine doesn't really scream Bakugou to me."Toru brings up and the rest can also agree with that
"How about Kacchan.I mean Midoriya's name is Deku and that's the name Bakugou used to call him as a kid. They can mirror one another since they're kinda rivals and everything." Kirishima pipes up and Midoriya feels his back stiffen as he can basically hear Bakugou's neck snap in his direction. Kirishima, feeling the vibe, decides to follow the lead as his other two friends and start to run around the house to avoid his wrath.
"Yeah, that's not gonna work." Uraraka says mighty bluntly
So for the next few minutes, this is how it goes for them. They try to give Bakugou a name, if he doesn't like it, he'll chase you around the house in an attempt to kill you. So far the ones that are thrown around consist of Hand grenades by Mineta. Poor grape boy didn't stand a chance. Outburst was suggested by Mina, seeing as he's quick to make an insult at someone else's expense. Her acid could only get her so far. Toru suggests Na"palms" since he uses his hands to create explosions. She got the worse for making a pun.
"This is useless, he hates everything!" Kaminari says falling to the ground in defeat, too tired to continue
"He's far too picky, nothing's gonna suit him." Sero sighs out before falling over his electrified friend.
"Well, I have something." Midoriya says being shockingly silent during this whole thing. "B-but I'm not how good it is, especially compared to what you guys have said." He says rubbing the back of his neck nervously
"At least your strong enough to fight back Midiroyabro give it a shot." Kirishima cursed under heavy breathes, the tips of his hair burned to a crisp.
"How-about-Ground-Zero." He says in a flash but in a jumbled mess so no one can understand him
"What was that you damn nerd!" Bakugou shouts and Deku suddenly gets a surge of courage
"Ground Zero!" He proclaims and the room grows quiet
"Ground Zero? Hm, that isn't too bad actually."Todoroki says in his natural monotone voice. "His explosions can be very large and send him flying upwards or other directions."
"Yeah, plus it kinda fits his whole motif with the outfit. The explosive hero: Ground Zero."Deku babbled before looking over to his rival with a pleading look of approval. To his surprise Bakugo wasn't attacking him, in fact, he looked rather pleased with it.
"Ground Zero. Tch that's not too bad." He remarks not willing to give the useless nerd his props for coming up with the name.
"What's that, did Bakugou, Just agree with Midoriya!?" Mina shouts causing some laughs from the group. "We gotta get this on camera!" She whips out her phone and grabs Bakugou by putting him in a headlock. "Kaminari, Kirishima, Sero, quick get in it before he breaks free!" The pink teen proclaims and quickly the other three rush to them, all putting a pose with smiles as Bakugou shouts at them. Mina takes three quick selfies before rushing away with her friends behind her.
"YOUR ALL GONNA DIE!" Bakugou shouts and the rest of the class look amongst themselves and sighs
"Are we sure we missed this?" Tokoyami mutters under his breath.
Everyone soon left after that, seeing as classes are tomorrow and everyone needs to go to bed early if they wish to actually make it too class. Before they leave Momo gives Jirou a tight hug and a bright smile, which her purple hair friend returns.
"See you all in class tomorrow! Text the group chat when you all made it safely home." Momo yells at her retreating friends
"You know it Yaomomo!" Jirou yells back waving some more. Once they are out of sight Momo closes the door and joins her roommates in the living room.
"That was a fun way to end a rather hectic weekend." Uraraka beamed
"Yeah, everyone was so lively, shame they had to go so early." Midoriya replies back and he notices Bakugou looking at something on his phone with a small smile "You alright Kacchan?"
"What's it too you Deku."He barks back and the one for all user just sighs. He wasn't sure what he was expecting
"Do you always have to be like this?" Uraraka chimes in and the two are back at it. The other 6 members of the household just shake their heads and decide to go back to their rooms to do their own thing.
The thing that was making Bakugou smile you may ask? It was a picture of Kaminari and Kirishima forcing him to smile while he was trapped in a headlock by Mina while Sero posed in the back.
This was a little difficult to write, and I'm not too sure how I feel about it. So I really want to hear what you think about it. We also meet 3 of maybe 8 reoccurring characters outside of our core cast. Jirou, Kaminari, and Tsu, not saying the other cast of 1A won't appear from here and there, Just don't be surprised when those three, in particular, show up in a chapter. Anyway, the next chapter is the Momo and Deku chapter I mentioned in chapter 2, so I hope you enjoy it.
