Professor Dumbledore was in his office enjoying a few lemon drops with his tea when suddenly his fireplace roared to life, and a furious Sirius Black came charging out of the fire, "Where is she? Where is that pink toad? I'll teach her to mess with my kids!" Sirius yelled with his wand in his hand.

Remus grabbed Sirius before he could go charging out of Dumbledore's office and cause a scene, "Padfoot, calm down."

"Calm down?! Don't tell me to calm down, Moony, she hurt my kids!"

"For goodness sakes, Sirius, what are you are talking about," Dumbledore asked.

Sirius whipped around; his eyes zeroed in on Dumbledore, his grey eye flashing with anger, "We received a letter from Holly this evening. She said that Umbridge punished her and Harry for saying that Voldemort was back by that toad, Professor Umbridge. Albus, she made them do lines!"

"I don't see the problem-"

"WITH THEIR BLOOD AS INK!" Sirius yelled.

"What?!"

"Albus, Umbridge used blood quills on Holly and Harry," Remus told him in an irritated tone.

"Are you certain?"

"Holly never would have written if it wasn't true."

"I want her thrown in Azkaban for what she did, Albus. I don't want her near my kids," Sirius growled.

"I'm afraid that isn't possible, Sirius."

"Why the hell not!"

"She's here under the orders of the Ministry."

"Damn the Ministry, Albus. That toad is hurting children! And I tell you right now, that if Holly or Harry write us again that something like this happens again. We will pull them out of this school faster than you can say lemon drops," Sirius told Albus in no uncertain terms.

Dumbledore's eyes widened. He couldn't let Sirius and Remus take Holly and Harry out of the school. There was no safer place for them than Hogwarts. Albus so much has said so to Remus and Sirius.

"Are you mad? With the Sorcerer's stone first year, the Basilisk second, the dementors, third, and the Triwizard Tournament last year? It's clear that this school is not safe for Harry and Holly," Remus commented.

"Yes, the only reason we let them come back this year is because of their friends. You can't keep them safe anymore, Albus, and neither can the Order. Right now, the safest place for them to be is at Potter Manor, where James and Lily should have been if you hadn't convinced them to go to Godrick's Hollow."

Sirius stalked over towards Dumbledore's desk, "I'm warning you right now, old man, whatever plans you have for those kids better stop. I'm not going to let you hurt them any further. Remus and I are here now, and we're going to protect them no matter what. So I suggest you do something about that Umbridge bitch." Sirius growled.

All Albus could do was nod at Sirius, "I'll talk to Dolores in the morning."

"Good. Come on, Moony."

Remus smiled and followed Sirius through the fireplace back to Potter Mansion.

Albus sat back and took off his glasses to rub his eyes. He sighed and took a drink of his tea. Never had Albus seen Sirius so upset. But then Sirius and Remus had every right to be upset. They were now the legal guardians of Holly and Harry and loved them very much. Albus knew that he couldn't let Dolores go on using her brutal way of dealing out punishments.

After thing about it for a while, Albus decided to inform Professor McGonagall about what had happened. He flooed her office and asked her to come to his. Albus offered her some lemons drops before he told her what had happened earlier that night.

By the time Dumbledore was finished with his tale, Minerva was red with rage, "Well, I don't blame Sirius and Remus for being angry at all. Merlin, Albus! Blood Quills! What was that woman thinking?" Minerva growled out as she stood to pace the room.

She then turned towards Albus, "And I can tell you one thing, Sirius means it. That boy does not make idle threats."

"I know Minerva. I will speak to Dolores tomorrow."

"See that you do, Albus."

With that, Professor McGonagall left Dumbledores office.

Meanwhile, back at the Potter Mansion, Sirius was still ranting about how he would kill that pink toad as he paced the floor of the study while Moony read, "You know that it must have taken a lot of people to convince the twins to tell us about this, don't you?" Sirius rambled.

"They're too tight-lipped when it comes to injuries and their feeling," Sirius said as he continued to pace.

"It's a survival instinct, Pads. From the years of abuse from the Dursleys," Remus said, not looking up from his book.

Sirius ran his hands through his wild hair, "I know, and that's my fault too. So, I'm not going to fail them the first time they ask for help. Who do you suppose convinced them to tell us."

Remus lifted his gaze from his book, "I'll give you three guesses, and the first one doesn't count."

Sirius thought for a moment, who would Holly and Harry listen to that wasn't their friends or them? Sirius nearly smacked himself in the forehead when he concluded.

"Viktor, and Luna."

"Precisely. Viktor told me he was going to go watch the Quidditch tryouts today, and I know that if he was there and noticed her cut, there was no way he wouldn't have told her something."

"And Luna?"

"Luna would have appealed to Harry's softer side that he only shows with her and Holly. She would have calmed him down and got him to think that it wasn't right what Umbridge was doing and that eventually, she would start on the younger children as well."

"What do you suppose Viktor told Holly," Sirius asked.

"Something along the same lines. Viktor would have appealed to Holly's need to protect others, especially the younger students."

"Hermione would have told them the same thing."

"Yes, but she would have approached it logically about breaking school rules, and that doesn't matter to Holly and Harry. See other people hurt, and they could have prevented it, does matter to them."

"Well, thank Merlin for Viktor and Luna. Now, tell me why you are sitting there so calmly reading."

"Research, love."

Sirius sat down next to Remus, "Research about what?"

"About how much power The Ancient and Most Noble House of Black still holds over the Ministry."

"What?! Why?"

"Because, my dear, husband. If you want Delores Umbridge removed, you may have to use your powers as one of the Sacred 28 on the Wizengamot. After all, you are Lord Black."

Sirius grinned and Remus and leaned over to kiss him, "I love you so much, Moony. What would I do without you."

"I love you too, Padfoot. And without me, you would muddle your way through life."

Sirius laughed and hugged the other man, "True enough. Now, let's get to bed; I think it's time Lord Black made an appearance down at the Ministry."

The following morning, Holly and Harry went to see Madam Pomfrey so that she could look at their hands. Poppy gasped when she saw the raw red marks on the twin's hands. She immediately complained about how the teaching standard was going down since that Umbridge woman had arrived. As they were being treated, Professor McGonagall came in to see their injuries.

She looked at the twins' hands, "Merlin, it's worse than I thought."

That was all she said, then left the hospital ward.

When Holly and Harry went down to breakfast, They sat down with Neville, Ginny, and Hermione. Hermione glanced up from her book and looked at the twins, "Harry, Holly. Are you alright?"

"Yeah, do you mind if we sit with you," Harry asked.

"Not, at all," Neville said and hurried down.

The twins made themselves more comfortable, then began to serve themselves breakfast. Halfway through, they started to hear raised voices out in the hall.

"Pardon me. Professor, but what exactly are you insinuating?" The group heard Umbridge say.

"I am merely requesting that when it comes to my students, you conform to the prescribed disciplinary practices."

"So silly of me, but it sounds as if you're questioning my authority in my classroom, Minerva."

"Not at all, Dolores, merely your medieval methods."

"I am sorry, dear. But to question my practices is to question the Ministry, and by extension, the minister himself. I am a tolerant woman, but the one thing I will not stand for is disloyalty."

"And I will not stand for the mistreatment of my students, Dolores," A booming voice is heard.

The students turn around and saw that it was Professor Dumbledore standing at the entrance to the great hall, "If I may, Professor Umbridge, I'd like to have a word with you."

The simpering toad smiled at Dumbledore, "Of course, Professor."

While this was going on, a man dress in fine dress robes made his way through the Ministry. Many had not seen him since he had been declared innocent of the murder of James and Lily Potter, but now he strode down the halls with a determined glint in his eyes. Sirius Black made his way into the Wizengamot and took his seat. The murmurs immediately began seeing the Lord of the Ancient and Most Noble House of Black back at the Wizengamot.

When a smiling Minister Fudge walked into the chambers, he skidded to a halt when he saw lounging in his seat, Sirius Black. Now, usually, Fudge would not be nervous seeing Sirius sitting in his spot. Still, the Black family name had just enough pull with the neutral family and now had the backing of the light families that whatever was voted on could be overturned by the light families.

Cornelius cleared his throat and began the session of the Wizengamot, "Is there any new business?"

Sirius stood up, "Yes, I'd like to know why Dolores Umbridge is allowed to use Blood Quills to torture students?"

There was an immediate uproar among the light families and denial among the dark, "Quiet, quiet down. Lord Black, where are you getting this information."

"From my children, Holly and Harry Potter."

"Well, that can hardly be trusted. As we all know, the boy and girl are liars," Lucius said, "And I haven't heard of anything from my son, Draco."

Sirius was getting ready to blow his top. Still, Remus instructed him to stay calm no matter what, "It's effortless then, we can have Amelia Bones investigate, and I give her permission to question the twins using Veritaserum and to use a Pensieve. And if they are found to be lying, you can expel them. And if not, I want that woman disciplined."

"What would you like us to do if Dolores is found guilty?"

"I want her arrested."

"A proper punishment will be given to her, Lord Black. All those in favor of an investigation raise your wands."

And as expected, all of the light families agreed, along with several neutral families, "The motion is carried. Lady Bones will begin her investigation immediately." Fudge said with a sigh.

An hour later, Amelia Bones showed up at Hogwarts with Tonks and Kingsley. Professor McGonagall called Harry and Holly to her office, and Amelia questioned them under Veritaserum then their memories were given to Amelia. Once Amelia viewed them, she had more than enough proof to arrest Umbridge for child abuse.

Amelia, Minerva, Tonk, and Kingsley, went to Dumbledore's office where he called Umbridge, "Yes, Headmaster."

"Professor Umbridge, you are familiar with Amelia Bone, head of the DMLE, correct?"

"Yes, of course."

"Dolores Umbridge, you are under arrest for the use of illegal blood quills on Holly and Harry Potter. You will now be coming with us."

Kingsley and Tonks flanked Dolores, "You can't do this! I'm the Senior Undersecretary to the Minister!"

"You'll find that I can, Undersecretary," Amelia said, "Take her away."

"They're lying; you can't believe them!"

And with that, Dolores Umbridge was dragged out of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
