A/N: First and foremost: HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE! Since it's a brand new year, let's hope 2021 isn't going to be another 2020 (hopefully). I know it's been a hot minute since last I've updated this story (since May 5, 2020), but now I'm back in action! In total, I'm about to have 5 stories. Every month, in order, I will upload a chapter from a different story!
Meaning it's like this: If I were to upload DBSxFT this month, then next month would be DARAGON. And the following month will be this story, Enoteca's Saiyan, then my DxD one, then my Bleach one.
Both my DxD & Bleach one are still in the making so it'll take a while, but nevertheless, my uploading schedule will be as that!

The Search Back Home Arc
Chapter 3: Escape from the Witch Queen's Fury...
FULL RECAP: Vanessa, Goku, his family & friends have decided to embark, or in other words, continue, their search of the 7 Dragon Balls. To find Vanessa's group, the Black Bulls, they would need the power of the mighty wishing Dragon to grant them their one wish.
However, there came altercations. The Witch Queen, Vanessa's mother though not biologically, hired four ex-Frieza soldiers to retrieve Vanessa but were all killed in the process. And now, she started getting serious. On the persuade, she unleashes her flock of black birds, crows if you may, and have finally located Vanessa & the others.
But doing this leads to her planet being vulnerable as two Saiyans, Vegeta & Nappa, makes their way to the planet of the Witches, Planet Conjuring, to conquer it in order to sell it at a high price. Multiple events happening all at the same time, but which one will end faster...? Which will fall into the demise of the doer...?
New Timeline
Early Morning
Empty Wasteland, Camp...
The bird created from the Witch Queen, served for spying purposes, have finally located Vanessa & her group. A very startled Vanessa quickly shows out her energy threads as she quickly kills the bird. But even though the bird as no longer there, their location was already exposed.
And with that, Vanessa begins to panic...
"Whoa... nice shot, Vanessa." Goku said, amazed.
Vanessa, as frightened as a dog when hearing thunder, quickly grabbed Goku's left hand and together, ran to Bulma & the others. "Hurry, Goku! Not a moment to waste here...!"
The two rushed their way back to the others, wasting no time in explaining what was about to happen. However, not everyone got the memo. The camp was half-way packed, but with Vanessa barging in like that, something up was about to happen...
"Vanessa, honey, what's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost..." Gine said, concerned for the drunken Witches' being.
"Gine, Bardock, Raditz, Krillin, Bulma. Good. You're all here." Vanessa heavily panted as they all saw her sweating intensely. "We have to leave this place, fast! The Witch Queen, my mother, has found us!"
The concern in her voice was good enough for Gine & the others to get convinced. With his arms crossed, Raditz glared at Vanessa as she was squeezing Goku's hand out of being afraid. He was jealous, but it didn't let it get to him as he could see the fear in her eyes...
"Wait, how did she find us? There's no way..." said an unfathomable Bulma.
"I'm sorry, everyone. I've known my mother longer than all of you that I should've told you guys about her abilities." Vanessa said with guilt.
"You can tell us her powers later. Right now, while we still can, we should focus on leaving. If you're scared to the blue, Vanessa, then it's best to make sure the Witch Queen doesn't land a finger on you." Bardock assured her as he was already packed.
It was a protocol that everyone was used to. Given that they were on the hunt from the Witch Queen from the start, they were very well prepared. With the exception of Bulma & Krillin, they loaded up and proceeded to leave their land they called camp.
But they were a second too late.
Off by 1 second, a dark-red light with black outlines marched its way to the group. Descending down from 5,000 meters away from their exact location, came crashing down one provoked mother. Her unhinged landing abruptly send rocks & pebbles flying everywhere in every direction. In the direction of Goku & the others, the group covered themselves as not one rock came in contact to them...
"There you are, my Vanessa." the person said in an ominous way.
"(No... we're too late)." Vanessa gulped as her eyes were squinted from the smoke.
The smoke dialed down as the group's eyes were constantly shaking. A pressure so big and intense led to Bulma falling unconscious as the others were struggling to keeping their eyes open. She made her grand entrance as at long last, she found her.
A huge flock of black, armored birds were flocking up the sky. A vast population of over 100,000 black birds led the sky to turn dark-red, the same color as her aura as it was still visible for everyone to see...
"W-Wow..." Goku gasped, later mumbling his words as he was speechless. "So, this is the Witch Queen..."
"Yeah... this is her, my mother..." Vanessa gulped, her heart constantly was beating.
The Witch Queen, before responding, looked to her right to left. She saw the unconscious Bulma being attended to by Gine, Bardock with Raditz & Krillin and the guests of the hour, Goku & Vanessa...
"Vanessa, how long are we going to play this silly game of wild goose chase? Quite frankly, I'm sick of chasing you."
Vanessa swallowed her saliva, getting a sense of Déjà vu from her timeline. The timeline where her mother, possessed when she didn't see that she was, she was getting PTSD. Devoured in her presences, her sheer, raw power, her heavy pressure, she couldn't move her legs...
"M-Mother..." Vanessa whispered.
"Hey, I don't know if you're aware, Vanessa's mother, but you're in our way!" Goku raised his voice as a way to stand his ground.
"Kakarot, stop." Bardock insisted he stops chatting up trash talk before it comes to bite all of them. "(I can tell in his voice he wants to fight her. That's the Saiyan blood calling to him. Damn, if I don't stop my son, he'll get himself killed)."
Bardock knew Goku's simple motives. He just didn't know how to get out of this situation as dire as this one. This was the third time they ran into the Witch Queen. The first and second time, they barely escape with luck holding on by a thread. No pun intended...
"(Something different. Vanessa's boyfriend- - he's... His energy's different than the one I remember)." the Witch Queen observed as she carefully eyed him. "Vanessa... something's different about you. It's as if you're not my Vanessa. Your energy's different, as well."
"(That's my mother all right. Her observation skills are still untouched. Still, did she already figure out that I'm not the one from this timeline?)" Vanessa gulped. "What do you mean, mother?"
"I thought that'd be obvious. I've come to get you, and I'm tired of chasing you. Escaping to this planet, filled with men who think with their private areas rather than their brains."
"Kch... doesn't she speak for us all?" Krillin jokes, but no one heard him.
"The answer's still the same, Witch. We're not returning your daughter to you. You can't just force her to come home." Bardock steps in, catching the Witch Queen's attention.
Annoyed that another person who interfere, the Witch Queen responded. "Bardock. I've forgotten about you. With your disgusting odor, you might as well just kill yourself before I do."
"Hehe, still mad about what happened years ago, huh?" Bardock continues to chuckle.
Vanessa's eyes widened as she looks back at Goku's father. Stunned, this was a first she had heard of a brief history between her mother and Bardock...
"(They know each other? Wait, this is not my timeline, so anything goes). Huh!?" she turned back and saw the Witch Queen powering up.
It couldn't have been a coincidence that all of this was lining up for Vanessa, right? It was simple, actually. To put this all together, to not know that everything is not what it seems, it was just mind boggling. This was still a lot to take in. A new timeline, new faces, and enemies old and new.
Vanessa snapped back into reality, getting rid of her thoughts for just a second in order to get back in track at what was in front of her...
"Filth. Tainting one of my children with your toxic man traits. Men makes me sick."
The Witch Queen's aura lashes out as it breaks the ground. Her power level was surfacing everyone's mind as they could sense nothing but a deep, pitched amount of despair from just feeling it.
Gine had a panic face on, sweating intensely. Krillin nervously laughed as Bardock & Raditz's eyes widened as if they've met their end, seeing their death door. As for Goku & Vanessa, the two stood their ground. It felt impossible, but they had to protect the people behind them, for peep sake. Whether they had noticed or not, their given energies, thanks to Fu, was on par with the Witch Queen. They just didn't realize it just yet...
"EVERYONE, GET OUT OF THIS AREA! SHE'S GOING TO ATTACK!" Bardock shouted, grabbing everyone's attention.
The Witch Queen lifted one finger up, her right index, and pointed it at the group. She was emulating a dark red energy blast as it was brewing up. In seven different paths, the dark red energy was coming together to her tip. In about 5 seconds, she was done charging. And in about 3 seconds, she unleashed her One-Fingered Blood Beam.
The energy attack just screamed devastation. As it left her finger, the Blood Beam makes headway to Goku & Vanessa. For the two of them, they dodged the attack by simply jumping high in the air.
But that led the beam to head straight for Bardock and the others. But not to worry!
The Lone Warrior, Bardock, looked left to Raditz as both of them nodded their head, indicating that they knew what each other was going to do. Krillin raced to Bulma as his life depended on it and carried her on his back as Raditz carried Gine in his arms.
With those four now joining Goku & Vanessa, this led Bardock to fend for himself, and he couldn't be anymore pumped. He took the Witch Queen's Blood Beam on with a grin. He hasn't moved from his spot as the beam was still marching its destructive force to him. Goku & the others all looked down, seeing Bardock with his hair getting blown back as he stuck out his right hand...
"Confident as ever, huh, Bardock? Not to mention cocky. You haven't changed one bit. Out of everyone, you're the only one that knows of this technique." The Witch Queen said, slightly smirking.
"I've known you since I was in my early twenties, Witch, and if I know any better, you like to start of the battle with none other than this attack." Bardock replied, barking at her.
"Hmph. The same goes for you..."
With his right hand forward, in the front view of the beam, Bardock was charging up his own attack. A blue energy sphere was forming, gathering in one location to drive up an impact that'll soon collide with the Blood Beam...
"You really don't know how to take break ups well, do you? I know you're after my son's girlfriend, but do me a favor and buzz off, Witch!"
The Witch Queen flinched her tongue. "You're so annoying, Bardock. To have such confidence and love for others such as your friends, it'll lead to your doom (but... it's also that confidence and love that he puts effort in that made me fall for him years ago)."
"Hehe." Bardock looks up at his family. "Now, you guys, while you still have the chance! Get out of here!"
"What!?" said Vanessa, shocked. "You're just going to handle my mother all on your own?"
"Don't worry about me! Just make sure my family's safe with you included! Now get out of it!"
Goku grabbed Vanessa's right arm, causing her to look at him. "C'mon! If we're gonna get out of here, this is our chance! By the looks of it, my dad knows what he's doing!"
"Goku..." Vanessa stared at him, then looked back at Bardock. If he confident, if Bardock's really okay with it, Vanessa had no choice. As she was ready to accept this, Raditz and the others had already left. "Okay. I'll leave it to you, then, Bardock." she nodded as later she joined Goku in flying behind Raditz & the others.
All of them were heading to a city that was meters & meters away from this fight. When everyone left, Bardock could finally let loose. He continued grinning as the Witch Queen was in disgust once more...
"I'm going to kill you for letting them escape, Bardock..."
Bardock chuckled. "Yeah? Well, as least sound intimidating when you say it, Witch! From me, my family, and your own daughter, THIS ENDS NOW! HAVE IT! Final Spirit Cannon!"
Bardock draws his arms back as he then brings it forward again to fire the attack. By doing this, their energy attacks both collided as a beam struggle had commenced. Bardock's Final Spirit Cannon, this time around, was in shape of an energy wave, the same one he did in the DBS Broly movie.
At one point, the beam struggle was in the Witch Queen's favor. The next, Bardock. Multiple veins had appeared on Bardock's face as the same was with the Witch Queen. For now, it would seem the two were evenly tied, but that was far from the case. Bardock's feet was getting dragged back as he looked down. And from the moment he looked up, he was losing the beam struggle...
"Huh!? Shit... this isn't good."
"Have you forgotten who I am, Bardock? I'm the mother of all Witches. No one, not a single man, especially a Saiyan monkey like you, can match me in strength. Now die, wrench. For existing, and for breaking my heart."
The Witch Queen added more fuel to her Blood Beam. She held onto her hat due to the wind being a pain for her as she walks forward, similar to SSJ2 Teen Gohan in the Cell Saga. Only difference is, instead of one arm, she was walking forward with her one and only right index finger, the source of her energy attack.
This wasn't looking good for Bardock. As the Witch Queen's boosted energy blast was taking over the beam struggle, Bardock's eyes widened. Not because he was a tick away from death's door, but because he was able to have a vision...
"(Huh!? Another vision!?)" Bardock gasped.
This was the 7th time he was embarking on a vision. But this time, it was a vision about his second son, Goku. It was him & the Saiyan Prince Vegeta, at a Rocky Wasteland, in their signature pose, smirking at each other...
"Kakarot...? And... is that- - Prince Vegeta!?"
"Hmm? What are you mumbling about, Bardock?" The Witch Queen wondered.
Another vision was about to happen. This time, it was a vision of a confrontation. Goku again, but this time, he looked different. Him, with his Gi all torn to shreds, was in his SSJ form, holding a badly bruised Vanessa as she was holding on to dear life...
"My son again...? What does this mean? Why is his hair different? Don't tell me... he achieved that legendary form- - Super Saiyan!? Who is he fighting? Ugh! Frieza! And... that other person. He looks just like Frieza. Orange patterns... who is he? Huh!? I'm right beside my son, too! As a Super Saiyan..."
"The end of the line is calling to you, Bardock. Farewell."
Due to having this sudden visions now, Bardock was caught off guard. The Witch Queen fires up another boost that led to take complete control of the beam struggle. Both her attack were now combined into one as it was heading its way to him. When Bardock snapped back from having a premonition, he gets caught in the blasts, breaking off his dark blue & green Saiyan Battle Armor, swallowing him whole.
This led to destroying everything its path, like a nuclear bomb detonating the moment it touches the ground. A big, dark red energy explosion was covering up 5,000 meters of ground, but luckily it didn't touch Goku & the others...
New Timeline
Early Afternoon
Kilo City, Bulma's Private Storage Building...
The explosion had continued to occur for the next 3 hours. And hour later, everything had dialed down. But because of that, it caught the attention of the entire world. Investigation went under way as Goku & the others were watching through television.
In a storage building that Bulma owns, after waking up during those three hours, she took everyone to a safe place that would keep them 'safe' temporarily. Entering inside, there was a door on the ground. She opened it and there came stairs to an underground basement.
And that's where everyone is as of this moment...
"The size & magnitude of the explosion is still being under investigation. But trust me, ladies & gentlemen, this is not a warning sign from the mayor of KruCru City. The treaty between this city, West, East, North & South City still stands! This is not due to hate & conflict. However, it could be due to a chemical leak from a factory near there in Kazkure City. We'll keep you updated with the report every hour."
"Ugh." Bulma grabbed the remote and placed the tv on mute. "Despite us knowing, they don't know that it was due to the Witch Queen's stupidly op energy attack." she sighs after. "Sucks that I passed out the moment she unleashed her power."
"Well, you are the most human out of all of us, Bulma. It's not your fault." Krillin said, later sipping on a mug.
Bulma, Krillin, Raditz & Gine were all sitting on the couch together, with Vanessa sitting on a longue chair to their left. Goku entered the living room by coming out from the kitchen, with loads of food in his arms as he then sat next to Vanessa, giving her 3 bottles of ale she had asked for...
"Hey, everyone! Oh, Vanessa, here's your bottles you wanted." Goku threw the 3 ales.
Vanessa caught two of them by the tip with her left hand and placed them on the ground in front of her. For the third, she caught with her right and immediately opened it and started drinking. She was already halfway done with it as it made Krillin & Raditz widened their eyes at the level of tolerance she has with alcohol...
"It's been 4 hours since the fight. I'm worried about him." Gine said as her hands were together.
"This is dad we're talking about, mom. I'm sure he'll pull through and find us as he always does." Raditz cuts in. "She really has a thing with him, huh? Sheesh..."
"Hmm..." Vanessa looked at the ground. Rather, she was thinking of something. As she was thinking of what transpired between Bardock and her mother, Goku was interrupting her thoughts as he was eating like a slob in the background. "Goku, I get that we're a thing in this timeline, but could you dial down the munching?"
"Hmm?" Goku looked at Vanessa, confused. "My bad. Sorry."
"You're fine. I'm just... with everything that's happening, I wonder how much history got altered in order for it to be combined based on our own timelines." Vanessa said, biting her nails.
"I don't blame you. Everything's happening so suddenly that I haven't had the time to process it yet. Rather that, or I'm just frickin' hungry."
On a scale of bat-shit crazy, Vanessa could agree with Goku. So much, that she would already emptied the bottles given to her. Though, she was drooling. While still looking to the ground, Bulma & Krillin went to the next room, to check on the Dragon Radar that the one and only scientist made. This gave room for Gine to express her feelings out...
"So, is something on your mind, mom? Raditz asked, concerned as he noticed the worried face of his mother.
"Eh? Oh, yeah, there is." Gine responded, softly smiling. "Since back then, before Kakarot was born, the Witch Queen's really been after us, trying to kill us just so she can make Bardock suffer."
"Wait, you have history with my mother?" Vanessa cuts in. "If so, that would explain why she acted so familiar to us, aside from the fact that you're harboring me."
"Harboring is a strong word, dear. More like, helping you get to your real family, haha." Gine giggled a little. It helped her mind at ease for a little bit. "But yes, we do have history. A lot for history. Some of it, the Witch Queen, your mother, Vanessa, that resentment is mostly aimed towards me."
"I don't get it. What does she want with you that would want her to kill you...?" Vanessa asked as in the background, Goku was finishing up the huge stash of snacks he got for himself.
"Well..." Gine dust her thighs and coughed once to clear her voice. "As I said, this dates back to when Raditz & Kakarot weren't even born."
Right as when Gine was about tell a story of her connections with the Witch Queen, Raditz held his hands behind his head as he leaned back on the couch, looking up with his eyes closed as his right leg went over his left. It wasn't because he was bored, no. He wanted to listen in and this was how...
"Right before Bardock and I became a thing, we were just squad mates with him being leader. With our other friends I mentioned, even though I was in a squad, I wasn't cut to be a fighter. I wasn't ruthless like the others, so I was pretty much a burden. And because of that, I was holding the team back. Bardock would always save me from the dangers I put myself in. And because of the amount of times I would get save, I eventually fell for him."
"Aww..." Vanessa bared both her hands together as she placed them on the right side of her face, her cheek. Already taken by her story, Vanessa was sold. "And what happened next? Did he fall for you?"
Gine scoffed. "With the amount of times he saved me, you would think so. But no. He didn't. Several months later, we were assigned to destroy planet Conjuring, home of the Witches. Where the population is nothing but one gender, the female gender."
"M-My planet..." Vanessa flinched a little. "Are you Saiyans planet hunters?"
"Not all of us are ruthless savages, Vanessa. Things weren't exactly looking great for us Saiyans back on planet Vegeta since King Cold's bratty son, Frieza, was the one giving orders. Bardock, despite being the complete opposite of me, was also kind and soft, in a sense. I could tell since I've been on his squad since we were teenagers."
"Teenagers? Wow, so you and Dad go way back, huh? Talk about old..." Goku cuts in, rudely. He didn't know it was rude.
Due to Goku's rude words, Vanessa whacked the top of Goku's head. A cross popping vein comedically appeared on the right side of her face. She only did it because it was rude, as stated, but frankly, Gine didn't care...
"Bardock and I had just entered our mid 20s. Our squad, Fasha, Tora, Shugesh, Borgos along with two additional members, Leek & Taro, were ordered to wipe out the population of the Witches because they were a potential threat. However, when we had arrived, there was already a battle going on, a war."
"A war?" Goku & Vanessa simultaneously said.
Gine proceeded to giggle at the way the two were saying the same words. "Look at you two! It's like you're already a married couple. Saying the exact same words, ah, I could just see you two with several kids."
"We're not a couple, Gine/mom." the two responded.
Gine continued her giggles as she went on with her story. "Right, right. Anyway, back to the story here. Upon entering planet Conjuring, we found out the Witches were at war. From a planet similar in name, but clearly wasn't the case, it was called Konjuring."
"I've heard of that planet. Konjuring with a 'K'. It's where all the Witches go to, if they were to ever rebel against the Witch Queen. It was supposed to be a facilitated planet, to get the slow Witches to learn better. But the layout and structure caused the Witches there to get corrupt, hence later they started a rebellion to get the throne of the Witch Queen to rule all of the Witches there."
"So, Konjuring's some wacky shack for special need Witches, but some weren't even special needed, huh? Seems to be they were driven by rage and used that to gather the strength of all the other Witches there." Raditz cuts in, making Vanessa agree.
"Planet Conjuring's a planet filled with perfection while planet Konjuring's filled with imperfection. You're only sent there if you're not what my mother envisions." Vanessa adds, getting flashbacks of being locked up in a cage due to her potential. "When my mother sees potential, she makes sure they are brought out to the fullest. I would know because she caged me at such a young age, knowing that I have such a large potential that'll serve to my purpose later on in life..."
"That's right, Vanessa." Gine nodded. "Witches on Conjuring were named Witches of 5 stars, meaning they were perfection, Team A, if you will. As for the Witches of Konjuring, they were Team B, filled with imperfection as Vanessa said it herself. We discovered that both planets were going at it for 3 days. It explained the disastrous backgrounds, destroyed areas, cities, homes, and buildings. We knew what we were getting into since Planet Conjuring was on Frieza's radar for quite a while."
"My planet is very pretty, but that's only because everything was operated by my mother, knowing her." Vanessa adds.
Gine continues on. "Bardock had a plan to end the war. At that point, during our ventures far and wide, we, especially him, were tired of destroying planets to sell at a high price. So, from what he learned about Planet Conjuring, he wanted to help the Witch Queen, so he issued out an order to help your mother, Vanessa. She didn't questioned it, but accepted."
"Seems... very unlike her..." Vanessa mumbled. "(Then again, this is a new timeline). What happened next?"
"After we helped the Witch Queen defeat the Konjuring Witches, she kept us as prisoners for a year."
"A YEAR!?" Vanessa shouted, causing Goku to drop his drumstick but at the last minute, he caught it before it touched the ground. "She didn't kill you? How come?"
"It's because we helped her. Though it wasn't needed as she said, we did so anyway. Bardock was always called in to have a one-on-one chat, since he's the leader of our squad. The Witch Queen had her doubts, but in time, over a year later, thanks to Bardock, she was able to trust us."
"Trust... in the opposite gender she so despise? Yeah, that's not out of character..." Vanessa said, amused.
"The only downside to help the Witch Queen was that our ship was damaged, so we had no choice but to stay there until it was fixed. Basically a year, since we were prisoners and our tech was something they've never seen before, but they quickly adapted. In that last month of that year, the two later showed feelings for each other. And so, they started dating. Bardock became the first man to win her heart."
"EH!?" Vanessa & Raditz's eyes widened, given in shock. Goku didn't care as he continued macking on his drumstick. "That explains why my mother was so keen on wanting your husband, Gine. It definitely felt like those two had history. I just didn't expect THAT kind."
"Me either. It definitely broke my heart when he didn't see me that way. To see the love of your life be with another person, it truly hurts." Gine said, placing her clenched right fist on her chest.
"So, what happened next? How did you and Dad hook up? It's obvious something bad happened to the two of them that caused him to get hated so badly by Vanessa's mom." Raditz asked, popping the question. "How did their relationship go?"
"Your father dated Vanessa's mother for 3 years. 3 long years I had to watch the love of my life be madly in love with someone that isn't a Saiyan. I'm not racist or anything, Vanessa, but I thought he could've done better. Fasha, one of our teammates, knew I liked him. So, with words of encouragement, she just told me to confess my feelings for him. I responded to her saying 'how'? Saiyan men desires a strongly willed lover. I wasn't that kind of person. I was just a soft, gentle woman who knew my place..."
"Gine..." Vanessa felt the sadness in Gine's voice. Even though she had never fallen in love before, she could understand what Gine was going through.
"With so many advices coming from my crew, I eventually took their advice and had built confidence. It was a shame, too. All of us had built such a good relationship with the Witch Queen that I let my love for Bardock destroy all of it. One day, I managed to get Bardock alone for the day because during that day, the Witch Queen was teaching her students on adapting the next level of becoming Witches. When it was just Bardock and myself, I flat out said it. I told him, I loved him, since we were teenagers..."
"Bold..." Vanessa admitted, giving Gine more credit than what was brought out.
"Yeah. At first, I didn't think he would accept them because he had a 3-year relationship with your mother, but he did. He told me he loved me back. I didn't know why or what led him to think that until he told me. During the 3-years, the Witch Queen became toxic."
"Toxic as in how?"
"Knowing the Witch Queen, their relationship turned toxic. She wanted their relationship to be perfect, leading nothing behind, to which, included imperfection. I found out that they were arguing back and forth, so seeing me brought warmth to him. Sounded out of character, but during that scene, I didn't care. They were still in a relationship, but Bardock wanted out of it. So we officially declared it."
"So, you basically cucked my mother? A fitting end to that love story, I guess."
"When we kissed that day, the Witch Queen came at the wrong time. She saw us together, holding hands, and she went berserk. Seeing that I took Bardock away from her, she lashed out and immediately wanted to kill us. She called all the Witches, all of her daughters, to hunt us down. During that day, it was just the two of us on your planet, Vanessa. The rest of the crew were back on Planet Vegeta, so we had no help."
As interesting as it sounds, Raditz decided to dip. To let them know he wasn't leaving on a rude note, he had told them he was going to just take a shower. He was interested, but the thing is he's heard this story before somehow, the story of how Bardock and the Witch Queen got together. He didn't know all the details, just the major ones. And it was good enough for him to know what the rest of the story was...
"For months, we were on the run. We didn't have the time to rest, to eat, to sleep, all of it. That's one of the bad things to come out of stealing the your father's heart. No radio contact, nothing. We had to survive using what we can to ensure we would live to see another day. And I got to tell you, Kakarot, Vanessa, it wasn't a picnic in the park."
"How horrible. Not even myself would I ever see my mother act in such a way." Vanessa said, placing her hand on Gine's left thigh. "I apologize on her behalf."
Gine's eyes quickly widened. Before responding to Vanessa, she waved her hands left & right in a timely fashion. "Oh, no, no, Vanessa! You don't have to apologize! No one, not even the Witch Queen, deserves to get their lover taken from them. I just wish loving Bardock didn't come with a crazy ex wanting to kill you."
Goku interrupted their talk with a burp. And with that, he wiped his mouth, wondering what was going to happen next. "So, what happened next, Mom? Since you're here in front of us, how did you escape the Witch Queen?"
"Good question, Kakarot." Gine smiled. "After 5 months surviving, help had finally come. You see, during those 5 months, Bardock & I were gravely injured. We didn't know if we were going to survive in the next 5 minutes until the rest of our crew. Fasha, Tora, Shugesh, Borgos, Leek and Taro came to save us with numerous other Saiyans that came to help them. I had found out that Fasha & Tora had organized a rescue mission since it's been a long time since we all saw each other. Right as when we were about to enter the ship, the Witch Queen came, attacked, and almost damaged all of us. However, Bardock came in, with little ounce of power he had left, and held off the Witch Queen just in time for all of us to escape."
"So that's the whole story, huh? Even though she wants me back, I get the feeling she's just using that as an excuse just to get back some revenge to you, Gine." said Vanessa. She looked at Goku. "(My mother fell in love with a Saiyan in this timeline. And so did the me here, too. I wonder... is it fate for me? For me to find love in a Saiyan? Hmm)."
"I feel the same way." Gine got up from her seat, "Well, I better get going. Just like with Raditz, I'm going to go take a bath, to take my mind off of things. Call me in about an hour, you two."
"Okay, see ya, Mom."
"Bye, Gine..."
Gine dusted off her lap once more and went to another bathroom suited for a lady. That led to just Goku & Vanessa to have their own room once again. Vanessa stared at Goku, who stared at her back, not knowing why but he did so anyway...
"So... why we staring at each other?" Goku asked.
"Because, Goku... I want you to think about it. In this timeline that Fu sent us in, I feel as if it's some sort of sign."
"Sign? Like what?"
"The you and me from this timeline fell in love with each other. Your father and my mother also fell in love in this timeline, too. I- - I- - Well, I..." she started blushing. "(I'm blushing for no reason! Goku's not my type and yet... Gine's story somehow convinced me to see Goku in a different light). I'm just wondering out of curiosity, Goku. Don't get it twisted here, okay? We're going to do something that you probably wouldn't expect."
"Sure. I don't mind. I'll take that advice, then. What do you have in mind?"
Vanessa gulped while her cheeks were still invaded in red. Her heart were pounding and her hand was on her chest. "We could... you know... kiss."
Goku was quiet. It wasn't because he was developing some sort of feeling for her. But rather, it was because it was just sudden. So, so sudden. His eyes widened, his mouth was a little open and he gulped. He had no idea where to go in this direction.
And the same could be said for Gine, who was eavesdropping on them in the other room. Peaking her head to her right, she saw the blushing face of Vanessa and a dumbfounded face of Goku. She, too, was blushing, but that was only because she wanted to see this relationship unfold...!
"(Bold! Vanessa's making the charge here! I know Kakarot doesn't know how to make a move, but even he should see this plain and simple!)"
"Err... Kiss?" Goku fake chuckled. "How come...?"
"Well..." Vanessa looked right. "The you and me in this timeline fell in love with each other. And as I mentioned already now, your father fell in love with my mother. 2 Saiyans, 2 Witches. The love thing that happened to them, happened to us. Goku, I want to see what it was that made the us here fall in love. So... if you don't mind, let's kiss."
"S-Sure..." Goku said, getting closer to her.
Goku's first kiss was about to get taken, the same with Vanessa. The two sat together on the couch, staring at each other's eyes as they were blushing. This was their first, so they didn't know how to go about it. Vanessa even knew that a first kiss is something special, so even though it was an experiment, she had to make it right.
They tilted their heads opposite of each other, eyes closed. The moment their lips connected, they kissed. Gine's eyes widened even more as deep inside she was happy. Filled with excitement that her son was getting some, she was cheering him on the inside.
A sensation was pouring deep into them, and their hearts were pounding. Just a simple experiment lead to the two to hold hands for an odd reason. But it was related to the kissing matter. Vanessa's mouth, drenched in alcohol and booze didn't bother Goku, mostly because his mouth was filled with the smell of meat. So it was an even trade off.
Truth be told, none of them were prepared to do this. They just did it without giving it a second thought. Their lips moved as they discovered how soft each other's were. Their lips now parted and their breaths were shown with a strong scent left behind...
"Wow... Goku..." Vanessa touched her lips as her cheeks were still red. "I didn't know you were a good kisser..."
"I, uh... that was my first kiss, Vanessa." replied Goku, breathing heavy. "I thought that was all you."
"Eh!?" she gasped. "A-Actually, it wasn't. That was also my first kiss, too..."
Such a confession struck Gine's mind as she didn't think that these two from the other timeline would confess on having their first kiss. And she thought they already her their first already. Although the two actually made out, things were awkward as there was a silence in the next minute. It was mostly because they didn't know what to do next.
And thus, there was an awkward silence...
"(Well, this is awkward. These two got no game)." Gine said to herself while still peaking.
New Timeline
Afternoon
Planet Conjuring (Destroyed...)
The Saiyans of elite made their way to Conjuring, home of the Witches. Upon arriving, they took out the entire race, massacring every single one of them as none even one Witch put up a fight. Buildings were either destroyed, turned into aftermath rubble or on fire. Either way, it was a slaughterhouse.
The blood of the Witches were splatted everywhere, and the bodies were everywhere as their clothes were torn to shreds. However, it was confirmed that their forest got destroyed, too. In the main area of the forest lied the two Saiyans, checking their scouters for any remaining ones they missed to kill...
"Tch. So this is the best Planet Conjuring can offer? So far, I am not impressed." Vegeta said as one of his foot was on the head of a beheaded Witch. "Doesn't seem like we missed anyone. Rather or they can hide their energy. Nappa, what do you think?"
"Hmm. Nope. My scouter's not picking up any more power levels. Seems like we just ended their race, haha." Nappa laughs, holding his hands on his stomach as he leans back. "The Witch Queen's not gonna like this!"
"Hmph." Vegeta smirked, arms crossed. "Doesn't matter. She won't be able to handle us, let alone one of us. Hmm? Well, well, well. Looks like we missed one."
Vegeta, with his left index finger, while still having his arms crossed, pointed right and saw one injured Witches trying her best to sneak her way out. However, she caught the eyes of the Saiyan Prince. The two smirked and with Vegeta still pointing at her, he lighted up an Energy Finger Blast and shot it towards her, specifically at her left thigh, disabling her to now dropping to her knees...
"Ahh!"
And with that, the two teleported in front of her. This mysterious Witch used her hands to push herself back, lighting up her own energy attack and threw it to the two. But with Nappa, he grabbed it and crushed it with just his bare hand, scaring the Witch...
"Ugh... hagh..." the Witch tried to talk, but all that came out was blood gushing out of her mouth, making it difficult.
"So, we did miss one." Nappa said, stomping her head with his right boot. "I'll make sure we don't miss one anymore- -"
"Nappa, wait!" Vegeta raised his voice, making Nappa turn to his left. "It's a good thing we did. I've got some things I need to ask this before we kill her."
Nappa lets go of his boot to give space to the Witch. "Right, right."
The injured Witch felt the pain from her left thigh as blood was pouring out. Seeing that, she tried to apply pressure with her hands, but they got shot off with Vegeta's finger beam...
"Hey, answer some questions for me, will you?" Vegeta said.
"Kch... go screw yourself. I'm not telling you anything! You killed my sisters, you burned our forest. Why in the hell would I tell you anything...?"
"She has a fair point, Vegeta. In less than 4 hours, we just ended the last of their kind." Nappa adds.
"That may be true, but on the bright side, you got to witness the power of the Saiyan race."
"S-Saiyans? The Witch Queen mentioned how barbaric that race is. I thought they've gone extinct."
"They are extinct. What you see in front of you are the remaining survivors. That, and 4 more." Vegeta adds. "It surprises me how the Witch Queen isn't here to protect your planet seeing as though she's the strongest this planet has to offer. Tell me before I kill you here, where is your queen?"
She wasn't answering. Instead, she spat at their boots and flipped them off. But that was something she was coming back to regret here. It pissed Nappa off as a cross-popping vein appeared. With Vegeta, he was angered, too, but he had a way to make her talk.
"Why, you filthy Witch!"
"NAPPA! CONTROL YOURSELF, NOW!"
Nappa was close to killing her, coming close to stepping on her, but once again, he stopped because of Vegeta. "Right... my bad, Vegeta. I let anger get the better of me. But, Vegeta, it's obvious she won't answer our question."
"I know. But there is a way. She just doesn't know how to experience fear. She's been living under the protection of the Witch Queen and because of that, she doesn't know what fear looks like. So tell me, Witch, can someone of your race experience fear? If not, I'll gladly show you."
He gave his scouter to Nappa as he took his off, knowing where he was going with this. Vegeta got into his Ki-charging stance and rocks and pebbles started levitating. Slowly building up his urge to yell, the Witch begins to see veins around his face.
Thus, she saw his aura bursting out. An aura so sinister, so disturbing, it reminded her of all the bad times she got on the bad side of the Witch Queen. Vegeta's mighty roar shooked the planet, causing the dead bodies to levitate up in the sky, along with the rubble and rocks. Extending his jaw just to showcase his power, Vegeta was only showing 15 percent of his power.
But it was enough to scare the injured Witch as her eyes were shaking unbelievably...
"(His energy... it rivals that of the Witch Queen!)" she thought to herself, not knowing that it was just a tiny amount. "Okay, okay! I'll talk!"
"Hmph." Vegeta stopped powering up. "Where is the Witch Queen?"
Before responding, she looked down to the ground and deeply gulped, with a single sweat drop holding on to the edge of her chin. "A few months ago, give or take, she went on a solo mission to retrieve one of our own, another Witch."
"Well, I'll be. And it's taking this long to retrieve her?" Nappa said, raising his left eyebrow.
"Vanessa holds a crew with her, from what I've been told. Apparently she has a party of her own. I've even heard that her party's filled with Saiyans."
"Saiyans!?" Vegeta & Nappa repeated, taken by surprise.
"I-I think. It's not proven true, but she went to check anyway. Something about looking forward to meet some guy name Bardock?"
"Bardock!? Vegeta..." Nappa turns to Vegeta.
Vegeta nodded. "Yes. He is alive. And his family as well. The mother, Raditz, and his little brother. Where is Bardock & his family hiding at? At which planet? Having to avoid being seen by us or Frieza, that family sure knows how to stay undercover."
"Planet Earth. That's where the Witch Queen, Vanessa & the rest of those Saiyans are."
"Earth? Hey Vegeta, isn't that the planet Raditz's little brother was sent as an orphan? To where he was supposed to conquer when he grows older?"
"It is. But things change at the last minute. Bardock must've did something that changed the fate of that infant. Hmm... haha..." Vegeta closed his eyes. He looked up and started laughing, "Haha! Hehe, this is turning out to be interesting by the minute. If I recall, planet Earth has a these 7 magical orbs that when brought together, a dragon comes out. With that dragon, it can grant a single wish. And to think it was also where Raditz's family was hiding at," he cracked a grin.
"You thinking what I think you're thinking, Vegeta?"
"Yeah." Vegeta looked down at the Witch. "Consider yourself lucky, Witch. Though Nappa here wanted to kill you, I'll decide to let you live. Your race is already gone, so I'll let you have a taste of what it's like to have an extinct race like ours, as well. You're lucky I'm in a good mood. Showing mercy isn't in my nature."
"Hahh..." she couldn't stop shaking. "You monster... (this short guy... from his power level, it's more haunting than the other Witches, and more sinister than the Witch Queen)." she didn't realize it, but she created a pond of sweat in front of her.
"Vegeta, is it really wise to let her live?"
"What can she do, Nappa? We wiped out her kind in just a blink of an eye. The reports we got a few years back about this planet with its warriors was misleading. The only one capable to pulling our hair is the Witch Queen. And she's on planet Earth, with the rest of our race. Nappa, we'll come back to this planet after we're done with Earth."
"So what's the plan?"
"Simple. We head to Earth, kill the Witch Queen and recruit Raditz's family to join us. With them on our side, we can stack the odds with Frieza. And while we're there, we might as well get our hands on these wishing orbs."
"Hehe! I like the sound of that! How long will it take to arrive on Earth?"
"Hmph. We're on the other side of the universe, and with the fuel we have, it should take less than a year. 6 months at best."
"6 months!? Gah... what the hell. I guess it's worth it since we're going to meet with Raditz the Runt again! Oh, that reminds me, what are we going to wish for?"
"For what other reason, Nappa? Immortality! With that, not even Frieza can stand in our way. The look on his face when he sees the one thing he's been trying to get himself. I can't wait to see him grovel at my tip of my boots."
"We'll make him pay for ordering us around like slaves!" Nappa adds, clenching his right fist.
"Head to our pods, Nappa. It's time we head to Earth. For the Dragon Balls, the Witch Queen, and the last of our Saiyan people."

A/N: Hey everyone, I'm sorry for not uploading much on this story. It's as I said before, I wasn't too invested on this story as I am with my other two. But, that's about to change! I'll soon have 5 stories total that I'll rotate around with the release of a chapter every month. Meaning if I uploaded this month with a chapter from this story, next month will be a chapter upload for a different story. You all get it, right?
Anyways, because of this schedule, I feel as though this can serve as a motivation. Besides, when doing this chapter, I came up with a lot of ideas on what to put in this story, so it's not going anywhere any time soon.
