One Piece: Truly Precious

So, after reading the end of the Whole Cake Island arc, I have one thing to say: I CALLED IT!

*spoilers*

Looks like I don't need to decide whether Luffy becomes a Yonko! It's Canon now! I am going to have so much fun in later chapters. I just need to build up his fleet strength, and I think I have just the answer to that.

As Luffy rushed to the Drum Rockies, he reached out with his Observation Haki and felt the presence of Wapol quickly making his way up the mountain, likely heading towards his former castle where Dr. Kureha now resided. Knowing that he had to hurry, as without his former memories, Chopper would be badly hurt going against the former king, Luffy ran for the base of the mountains and stretched his arm out to allow him to slingshot up the side. It was a lot easier now that he didn't have to worry about carrying Nami.

"I'm coming Chopper," said Luffy as he began his climb.

"Stay still!" yelled Kuromarimo as he tried to land a punch on Sanji, with the chef easily dodging all of his attempts.

"Is that all you got?" said Sanji as he leaned to the side to avoid a punch that, thanks to Observation Haki, was telegraphed plain as day, "I could do this all day."

"Damn you," growled the former magistrate, "Bikkuri Marimo!"

Spikes emerged from the black afro-gloves that the man wore on his fists and he tried to use them to skewer Sanji, aiming for his kicking legs in the hopes of taking away some of the blond chef's mobility. Not the best idea, as Sanji simply used a thin layer of Haki to protect his leg and shatter the spikes at the same time.

Meanwhile, Chess was firing flaming arrows at Zoro, but they were easily deflected or destroyed by slashes from the First Mate of the Strawhat Pirates.

"Your attacks are slow," said Zoro, "your so-called strength is a joke."

"You'd think so," said Chess, "but the two of us weren't Wapol's Lieutenants for nothing."

Suddenly, three small, black objects flew toward Zoro, causing him to automatically block with his swords, but the black puffballs stuck to his blades, dulling the edges somewhat.

"These things?" said Zoro in mild surprise.

"Gotcha!" said Chess as he fired a Flaming arrow at Zoro, "Checkmate!"

The burning projectile struck the black fuzzballs stuck to Zoro's sword, causing them to ignite violently and engulf the swordsman in flames.

"ZORO/Zoro-aniki!" exclaimed Nojiko, Johnny and Yosaku in horror as they saw their comrade engulfed in a fiery explosion.

"I wouldn't worry too much," said Gin as he caved in a man's ribcage with a swing of his weapon, "from what I've seen of those guys, he's not going down from something like that."

"That's right," said Usopp as he fired off an exploding shot that took out several troops, "don't count Zoro out yet. This is nothing to him."

Johnny and Yosaku nodded and swung their two swords, cleaving through the spears of attackers that had thought they could sneak up on them, before delivering a powerful combo that left them bleeding on the ground.

Trusting that they were right, Nojiko spun with her daggers and disarmed two soldiers attacking her before knocking them out with blows to the back of the head as the Strawhats continued to fight.

"That takes care of one of them," said Chess before firing several arrows at Sanji, distracting him long enough for Kuromarimo to latch several of his Electric Marimo spheres to Sanji's leg.

"This is the end for you," said Chess, "Check…"

"Hey Zoro," called out Sanji, interrupting the archer, "think it's about time we stop playing around."

"What?" said Kuromarimo in surprise before a voice from the flames engulfing Zoro made them turn.

"Heh," chuckled Zoro voice darkly as a silhouette appeared in the flames, "you think this fire is hot? It's barely warm. Yaki…"

"Wait," said Chess in shock, "this can't be!"

"…Oni Giri!" finished Zoro as he came flying out of the fire, his body and swords ablaze as he cut down the blue clad archer, his blades cauterizing the man's wounds as they were made due to the fire.

"CHESS!" exclaimed Kuromarimo in horror.

"Oh yeah," said Sanji casually, causing the boxer to turn toward his opponent, "these things burn."

The former magistrate of Dum Kingdom watched as Sanji spun in place on the foot that had the puffballs attached to it, causing the foot to glow bright orange from friction before the heat ignited the Electric Marimo puffballs, coating the chef in flames as he stopped, the snow around him melting from the flames.

"Diable Jambe," said Sanji as he jumped in the air at Kuromarimo.

"Wait!" stammered Kuromarimo, "Hold on! Let's talk this out!"

"Rôti Buster!" finished Sanji as his kick struck the man in the chest, the wake of his attack blasting the flames off his leg and onto Kuromarimo, setting him ablaze while his ribcage was shattered by Sanji's attack.

As the two members of the Strawhat Pirates' 'Monster Trio' came to a stop and turned away from their fallen opponents to see that the rest of the crew had just finished dispatching Wapol's soldiers, allowing the townsfolk to regroup and detain the survivors.

"Looks like that's that," said Zoro as the tattered remains of his bandanna falling to the ground, due to it being burned by the flames he had endured.

"Yeah," said Sanji as he stuck his leg into a snowdrift to alleviate some of the pain from the burns on it now.

"Finally," grunted Luffy, "I reached the top."

While his crew had been dealing with Wapol's forces in the town, Luffy had been using his abilities to quickly scale the Drum Rockies. He was eagerly looking forward to reuniting with Chopper and to kicking Wapol's fat ass off the side of the mountain. Literally.

As he dusted the snow off his coat and looked around however, his eyes widened in horror before narrowing in rage. For in front of him was Wapol standing over the beaten body of Dr. Kureha while holding Chopper's Brain Point form in the air by the throat.

"WAPOL!" yelled Luffy angrily, causing the deposed king to turn toward the Pirate with a disinterested look.

"Eh?" he said, "Who the hell are you?"

"I'm the guy that's going to kick your ass to the Red Line and back," said Luffy, "now, put. Chopper. Down."

"This thing is yours?" snarked Wapol as he tossed Chopper aside, "What is he, your weird little pet or somethi…"

Wapol's sentence was interrupted when a rubbery fist slammed into his gut, sending him flying into the castle's outer walls, leaving a decent sized crater in the stone. As Luffy snapped back his fist with an enraged look on his face, a certain blue-nosed reindeer blinked in recognition as his memories came flooding back upon seeing the rubber captain.

"…Luffy?" he said softly in surprise.

"Damn you!" yelled Wapol as he pulled himself to his feet, "do you have any idea who you're dealing with? I am King Wapol of Drum Kingdom!"

"I don't give a shit!" growled Luffy, "I just want to kick your ass!"

"Wait!" said a voice, causing Luffy to stop as a familiar figure landed next to Luffy in a crouch, "This time, he's mine."

"Chopper?" said Luffy before smiling, for next to him, in his Jump Point form, was the Doctor of the Strawhat Pirates, Tony Tony Chopper, memories and all.

"I'd like an explanation later," said Chopper, "but first, I'll get revenge for Doctrine and Dr. Hiluluk."

Pulling a spherical pill out of a pouch, the reindeer/human hybrid held it out in front of him with a serious look.

"Rumble."
