A sequel to Eggman Finds a Friend Up North. After Eggman arrives in Mobotopolis, a series of encounters makes living his covert life a bit more of a hassle than he assumed. But can meeting up with a single mother and her child lead to more possibilities than he could imagine? Little bit fluffy but mostly made to drive on with the story and 'verse of the first fic.

I'M ALIVEEEEE!

Good morning everyone, Gatekeeper here!

I wanted to write you this friendly little letter just to let you know about a couple of things, one of which being that I have successfully completed my service which kept me away from you lovely readers and commentators for these past 2 years. I am grateful to you all for the time and love you have for these small stories I have made.

I wish to especially give thanks to skiethemuse, NoOneExpectsDarkBrotherhood, HazeHero, slycooper972, wolfking51000, Neon Icy Wings Fracture and SmoresandHoney for your comments, faves and follows.

And to all you lurkers out there... hi! This is a safe zone and no judgement will be passed. I too took a few years of lurking before becoming a patron on FanFiction and you are always welcome to leave a comment or two, or jump in the fanfic pool with us.

Second is that I do intend to and am preparing to continue with Chance Encounters and Where They Lead! I will probably end this story soon and continue with another sequel just to kind of clearly define certain portions of the story I wish to tell.

Third is an addition on to the second, in which I affirm my previously stated mantra that while you are all dear to me as readers, I do also have a life to live. I do not promise regular updates but I do intend to keep them at least somewhat frequently. If you feel that I have abandoned a story or wish to express your easily understandable anger at my slowness, a Private message is always welcome. I do tend to respond to those with some frequency.

And so, dear readers, I will be preparing to embark us on a continuation. Not only of Chance Encounters but of others stories that may come as well to me. I hope you are as excited as I am.
