Chapter 2
Finally arriving at the Alola Region, Ash, Pikachu, Aurora, Mimey and Golly all walk out of the airport in Melemele Island. Ash says, "So where are we going next? Mom?"
Aurora says, "Someone should be ready to take us to our place."
Just then, a white limo appears and then a man comes out of it. "Mistress, welcome back to Alola."
"Hello Paris. I am glad that you come this early." She turns to the children. "Ash, Golly, this is Paris, he is our butler in our mansion."
"We have a mansion?" Ash is surprised. "That is so awesome."
"I know." Golly says as they all get in the car. Once they arrive at the mansion, they are amazed at the sight of it.
"That is so cool, and it is even by the beach." Golly says. "Can we go play at the beach after that?"
Aurora smiles, "Of course you can. This is the reason why I bought a house here."
Just then, they hear a doorbell and then Ash goes to enter the door. Then they see a man standing there and he is shirtless with a lab coat.
"Hey there, you must be Ash, right?" The man asks.
"Yeah, and you are?" Ash asks.
"The name is Kukui. Good to meet you, cousin." Kukui says. "You gotta be tired after that long trip at the way out here to Alola! You feel any jet lag? We sure are a long way from Kanto out there in Alola. It is still day time out here, yeah."
"How do you know everything?" Ash is confused as Aurora and Golly go to them. "Yeah, Kukui, we just arrived a few hours ago." Aurora says.
"And hey there. Aurora. And welcome to Alola." Kukui says.
"Mom? You know Professor Kukui?" Golly asks.
"Of course, I still remember seeing him battle the Indigo Gym Leaders back in Kanto all those years ago." Aurora says.
"So he challenged you?" Ash asks and Pikachu asks the same thing.
"Well, I lost." Kukui says. Aurora turns to him, "But I've been in love with Alolan Pokemon ever since, so we decide to come here."
"Ha! I was supposed to be visiting there to research Kanto Pokemon Moves and all. I thought I knew a thing or two about battling, but those Kanto Gym Leaders proved me wrong." Kukui laughs.
"Okay..." Ash says.
"But hey now, let's get a move on to the next town over, cousins. Time for you to meet the Island Kahuna and get yourself a Pokemon, yeah!"
"But we already are trainers, why are we going to get Pokemon?" Golly asks.
"And what is the Kahuna?" Ash asks.
"The kahunas are crazy-strong Pokemon Trainers here in Alola, cousin! They're unbeatable for folks like me and you! And the kahuna who lives in Iki Town is always happy to give any kid who wants to have an adventure their first Pokemon, yeah."
"They'll simply give us a Pokemon? Then those Kahunas really are worth meeting." Ash says as Pikachu nods in agreement.
Aurora says, "So Ash, Golly, it seems you two are going to have another new journey, huh?"
"Yeah." Ash says. "So we are going to Iki Town first." Then they bid farewell to Aurora as they leave the house.
As they are strolling on Route 1, they are amazed at the sight of Pokemon and humans working together. Kukui says, "Now this is more like it, yeah! Welcome to paradise, cousin. This is the Alola region. Folks here in Alola get along by living together with Pokemon and working together, too. After all...You can go anywhere, yeah, as long as you got Pokemon helping you out there."
"So that is why we are going to meet the Kahuna, right?" Golly asks. "So he can give us the Pokemon?"
"First, we're off to Iki Town. Come on, it's not far if we cut up here." Kukui says as he heads up fast.
"Professor, wait up." Ash says as they also climb the road, once they reach to the top, they see Kukui already waiting for them.
"That sure is a long walk." Golly says.
"Just tell me about it." Ash says with a tired tone.
Kukui laughs, "So, Ash, Golly. You're lovin' Alola already, yeah?"
"I guess?" Ash says. "All we did is just climbing this road."
"Hey, don't sweat it, cousin. It's pretty normal to feel a bit unsure when you're in a new place." Kukui says.
Just then, a trainer rushes up to Kukui, "Professor Kukui, you've gotta recommend another move for me sometime! Please?"
"Why? You already know which moves you want to use, yeah? You come find me next time your Pokémon learns a new move, and then I'll battle you." Kukui says as the trainer bids them farewell.
"You sure are famous around here, Professor." Golly says.
"Of course. I am the Professor of this region after all." Kukui says.
After that, they notice some trainers just finishing their battle, a trainer says, "Howzit! You're the new kids that just flew in? Let's have a Pokemon battle sometime!"
"Sure." Ash says, since he is not in a mood of battling for now.
"Having Pokémon gives you a whole new way to communicate with other people, see? Now let's get moving! Iki Town is right over there!" Kukui says as they enter the gate entrance.
Once they are at the Iki Town, Kukui says, "And we're here! This right here is Iki Town!"
He turns to Ash and Golly, "Ash, Golly. This town is where folks come to worship the Pokemon that watches over Melemele Island. Tapu Koko keeps us all safe and happy, see!"
"What is Tapu Koko?" Golly asks.
"I think it is a Legendary Pokemon." Ash replies. "After seeing that many in the other regions, I think it may be possible."
Kukui looks around at the town and find that the people here is less than usual, he asks, "Huh? What's going on here? We were supposed to meet everybody right here, yeah. Maybe they're back at there on Mahalo Trail. That's where the ruins of our guardian deity, Tapu Koko, are, yeah..."
"Then how about we go find the Kahuna there?" Ash asks as he and Golly run off. "Hey, wait..." Kukui sighs and says, "Ah, young children are full of energies. I'll stay here and make sure we don't miss each other then..."
Once the two of them are running, Ash says, "Wait, we didn't know what the Kahuna looks like."
"I guess it looks just like a kahuna." Golly says, causing Pikachu to sigh.
As they go to the Mahalo Trail, they hear a voice says, "Really? You want to go up to the ruins? I don't know what you hope to find there..."
Ash recognizes the voice, it is actually the voice he wants to hear after hearing the news of the plane incident. "That voice...it sounds like Serena..." Ash rushes off and Golly says, "Hey, Brother! Wait for me!"
As Ash and Golly stop, Golly asks, "What are you working up for, Brother?" Golly asks.
"I..." Ash says, but then he hears the girl saying, "You can't come out! We'll get in trouble if anyone sees you."
"She is right that way." Ash says as he continues to run, until they arrive at the bridge. A blonde haired girl is standing in front of the bridge with worry as a Pokemon which looks like a purple cloud pops out of it. It is crossing the bridge on its own until some Spearows are surrounding her and also attacking her.
"Excuse me?" Ash pats the girl's shoulder and then she turns around. "Ah." The girl then notices him and she says, "H-Help...save Nebby..."
"Nebby?" Ash asks as he notices the problem. The Pokemon is also crying as Ash and the two girls are forced to cover their ears from the Supersonic.
"Those Spearow are attacking it! But...but I'm too afraid to go out there...My legs feel like they might give out..." The girl says.
"Leave it to me." Ash then rushes to the middle of the Bridge and then he covers the cloud Pokemon as Pikachu, Golly and the girl are worried.
"I won't let you." Ash says as he is being pecked, Nebby sees that the human is protecting her and it starts to glow white, creating an explosion and causing the bridge to break. Ash and Nebby are also falling down and they can see the river and the rocks are there.
"Brother!/Ash!" Golly and Pikachu yell in horror. The girl looks at the scene and she starts to remember that the same boy jumped out of a tower to save a Pikachu, and she is feeling the same scare from it.
But then a Pokemon appears and it flies down to Ash, grabbing him and then sends him back to the ground.
"Brother, are you out of your mind?" Golly asks. "How could you be so reckless..."
"I am sorry... But what was that saved me..." Ash says.
The girl is still thinking of the flashback and she says, "That was the Prism Tower in Lumiose City if I remember..." Then she looks at Ash, "Does that mean this boy is the one in my dreams recently?"
Ash walks towards her and brings Nebby, The girl stops thinking of Ash and she says, "Oh, thank goodness...you tried to use your power again? Nebby? You know what happened last time you used it. You couldn't move for ages after that. I didn't want to see that again."
She frowns and says, "No...I shouldn't say that. I'm sorry, Nebby...I know you were trying to save me that time...And I couldn't help you in return..." Nebby then nuzzles Lillie, until it finds something and jumps down from her arms, walking towards the stone to check it out.
"Huh? What is that?" Golly asks as Ash picks the thing up. "A sparkling stone? It feels almost warm somehow..."
The girl says, "Please forgive me...I am so grateful to you for helping us out of that dangerous spot."
"No problem." Ash says. "But um..."
"Please, don't tell anyone about this, about seeing Nebby. It is a secret, Okay?" Then she turns to Nebby and says, "Now get into the bag, Nebby."
After the cloud like Pokemon goes into the bag, then she turns to Ash, "Um...I'm worried we might get attacked again by some wild Pokemon or...or something. I know it's too much for me to ask it, but...Do you think you could see us back to town?"
"Of course." Ash says as he grabs her hand and they go together, causing the two of them to blush a little. Golly and Pikachu notice it and then they smirk at each other, before they go after them back to Iki Town. Lillie thinks, "What is this feeling? When I get near this boy, I feel my heart is pounding...is it a coincidence?"
Here is the second chapter. And Ash manages to meet Lillie, he feels Serena in her, but she doesn't remember yet until the next chapter. I hope you like it.
