Season one Episode twenty four: Bluey's Sick Day

A Blue Heeler was shown in her bed as a German Shepherd about her age jumped on top of her, making her laugh with upbeat music playing. "Bluey and Jenny, (Bluey and Jenny fall out of bed while laughing) they're rarely seen without the other." Bluey and Jenny are shown to be in school wth a red heeler riding on Bluey's back, and a younger German Shepherd on Jenny's back. "Both are older sisters, (Jenny lifts her leg with Bluey gagging while laughing, Bingo just gagging, and the other German Shepherd laughing) as well as best friends forever."

Bluey and Jenny were shown to be walking through the forest with Bluey looking around in amazement. "Bluey is the truster, (Jenny is shown slashing at leaves with her sword) Jenny is the tomboy, (Bluey and Jenny find an amazing view of their town and look over it) they can make quite the pair." Bluey and Jenny are shown to be playing with Bingo and the younger German Shepherd as Jenny cuts down a bag of candy from a rope. "Also making things fun for Bingo and Chase, (All four of the kids laugh) with all the time they share."

Bluey and Jenny are shown to be decorating some kind of tree house in a backyard. "It's not imaginary, (Bluey and Jenny look out the window with Jenny giving a peace sign and Bluey leaning on the window) it's Bluey and Jenny."

Bluey's house was shown as Bluey was then seen lying in bed as she coughed, looking rather sick as she then groaned in response to how she was feeling. She grabbed a tissue and sneezed into it, throwing it into a trash can next to her before Bandit came in with some soup to help her get better. "Hey Bluey. Ya feeling any better?"

"No, not really." Bluey coughed again as she got a look at the soup bowl and noticed that there were Brussel sprouts in the mix. "Dad, you know I hate Brussel sprouts."

"Yeah, I only brought the soup up with those in there because your mum kept talking about how this recipe worked on her all the time." Bandit explained, rubbing Bluey's head for comfort before pointing up to the bell over her head. "If you need anything, let us know." Bluey nodded in response with Bandit leaving the room as Bluey then took the soup bowl, which was thankfully warm enough to hold, but not hot enough to burn her.

Bandit was heading downstairs with someone pounding on the door, leaving Bandit to answer it and finding Jenny standing there with a bag of stuff. "Hi Bandit. Can I see Bluey?"

"Eh, sorry Jenny. Bluey hasn't gotten much better since we called you this morning." Bandit explained, not wanting to keep Bluey and Jenny apart, but also knowing that both of their well beings were more important. "I don't think Bluey would want you to get sick too."

Jenny scoffed, feeling that Bandit wouldn't be enough to stop her from seeing Bluey. "That's why I brought a bunch of stuff to help her get better. Plus if I DO get sick then we'll have the bonus of us being sick together!"

Jenny ran past Bandit and ran upstairs with something else crossing Bandit's mind as he called up to her. "Wait; Jenny! (Jenny stops at the top step) Shouldn't you be in school!?"

"Oh yeah; the terrier triplets started harassing Chase with toy swords, so I broke some of their bones and got sent home for the day." Jenny explained, frightening Bandit as she ran over to Bluey's room with Bandit giving a deadpan look to the audience, starting to wonder if Jenny was safe to be around.

Jenny knocked on Bluey's door with Bluey taking notice after her second bite of the soup, forcing down the Brussel sprout before she called over to whoever was knocking. "It's open!"

Jenny opened the door and called over to Bluey as she closed it after letting her bag of stuff in. "Hey girl!" Jenny went over to Bluey with her bag of stuff as Bluey coughed again, leaving Jenny to sit down on her bed and put her bag of stuff up onto it as she commented on Bluey's condition. "Sounds pretty bad. And I don't think that Brussel sprout soup junk is gonna help you."

"Yeah, but I know my mum and dad are gonna be ream me if I don't eat it, so the best I can do is chug it down." Bluey explained before coughing again, and then she noticed Jenny's bag and became curious as to what was in there. "What's in the bag?"

Jenny opened up the bag and revealed a tablet, opening it up with Bluey getting intrigued as Jenny showed her the tab she had on it, making Bluey's tail wag excitedly. "I know how badly you wanted to see the season premiere of That's Lucky, but I also knew Bandit and Chilli wouldn't want you leaving your room. So I brought my mum's tablet over here so we could watch the premiere together!"

Bluey squeed, only having her joy brought down by the fact that she couldn't hug Jenny for doing this. "Thanks Jenny, you're the best! I can't believe your mum let you bring this over!"

Jenny chuckled a bit, making Bluey give a deadpan look as she realized what Jenny actually did. "Yeah, about that..."

"Jenny, did you not learn anything from stealing that toy for Socks?" Bluey bluntly asked, leaving Jenny to shrug in response, which led to Bluey sighing at her actions.

A few minutes of waiting for the premiere later, at least thirty minutes, there was a knock on Bluey's door and she spoke to whatever it was to let them know they could come in. "It's open!"

Bingo came into the room and was excited to see Bluey due to how bored she was. "Bluey, school just ended a few minutes ago and I don't know what to play. (Notices Jenny) Oh, hi Jenny."

"Hey squirt." Jenny responded, and then she got excited as she turned on the tablet and revealed something to Bluey about the premiere. "I heard this premiere has a good amount of focus on the German Shepherd we saw in the last scene of the season one finale."

"Ooh, that should be interesting." Bluey and Jenny could see that Bingo was confused with Bluey explaining what it was about. "The season two premiere of That's Lucky debuts tonight and Jenny brought her mum's tablet over here so we could watch it."

Bingo got a good look at the tablet and wondered why Jenny brought it over here. "You know we have a tablet too, right? Why did you bring this one?"

"Because I knew Bandit and Chilli wouldn't let me use it while Bluey was sick, so this was the best I could do." Jenny explained, still being psyched for what the season two premiere of That's Lucky had to offer. "If a Tv wasn't at risk of looking suspicious in the bag I brought I would've just brought that and figured out where the outlets were so I could install it."

Bandit and Chilli were downstairs cooking dinner with Chilli making sure the rue was just right before letting Bandit put the macaroni in. While she was doing this, Bandit got ready with the macaroni and made a roar as he poured it all in. "I am the roux monster! Watch me sloppily eat this macaroni!" Bandit slammed the bowl into the sink when it was empty and made Chilli laugh as she started mixing the macaroni and the rue together while making sure to add the correct spices. Bandit then finished roaring as he wondered if Bluey, Bingo, and Jenny were gonna eat this. "Are you sure the girls will eat this? It's slightly different than what they're used to."

"I think we'll be okay. Plus if there's one thing I'll ALWAYS love about Jenny, it's that she's not a picky eater." Chilli reminded Bandit, and then she put the macaroni in the oven and set it to thirty minutes, continuing her conversation with Bandit while waiting for it to turn brown. "Though, Bingo's a little younger than Bluey and Jenny, so we may have to try harder with her. I still remember how she got when we made that fancy style pasta."

Bingo was shown as a two year old as she tried to lift up a chair to smash her food with, making Bandit and Chilli laugh as they watched. "Bingo, wanted, pizza!" Bingo then ran out of breath and got mad at the chair for not letting her lift it up as she then went to kick it just as Bluey and Jenny got into the laughter. "Naughty chaiw!" Just as Bingo kicked her chair, she stubbed her toe, "Ow!" causing Chilli and Bandit to run over in panic as everyone stopped and hoped Bingo didn't stub her toe too hard as Bingo sat down and held onto her foot.

Bandit and Chilli finished the flashback as Chilli then realized that Bingo was only half her age back then. "Then again, she was still in her tantrum phase."

Just then, Bingo came downstairs to complain about something to her parents about something that was going on upstairs. "Mum! Dad! (Bandit and Chilli give Bingo their full attention) Bluey and Jenny won't let me watch their show with them!"

Bandit and Chilli were confused to see Bluey and Jenny leaving Bingo out of something with Chilli asking why. "Did they explain why you couldn't watch?"

"They said I wouldn't get it because I wasn't caught up." Bingo explained, not understanding what they meant by it. "They said I'd have to watch season one first. But that'll take forever."

Bandit decided to offer Bingo's support so Chilli could focus on the food, kissing her left cheek as he did. "I got this babe. You watch the food." Chilli nodded with a smile as Bandit walked off with Bingo, checking on the food and finding that it was still a good while before it got golden brown.

Bluey and Jenny were still awaiting the episode debut as Bluey blew her nose again with Jenny pretending to be anannouncer for basketball. "She shoots," Bluey giggled a bit as she tossed her tissue into the bin, leaving Jenny to finish her 'announcement' for the 'big game. "She scores!"

Bluey and Jenny laughed at the latter's act with Bandit knocking on the door from the outside as Bluey spoke up. "It's open!"

Bandit opened the door with Bingo, hoping to reach a reasonable solution regarding the season premiere of That's Lucky. "Bluey, Bingo says you won't let her watch your show because she wouldn't get where you were at? Is it like that video game series Chase is so fond of?"

"No, but this isn't any ordinary episode of the show dad. It's the season two premiere." Bluey explained with her and Jenny feeling that Bingo would be lost if she just watched this episode before the rest of the series. "She's gonna be confused as to who's who and when the cliffhanger introduced character ends up not being the main character like she thinks, she's gonna ask why."

"Well she really wants to watch it with you." Bandit informed Bluey, who looked down at a sorrow Bingo with Jenny. "Isn't there like a recap or something in the episode to help her get caught up?"

Bluey nodded her head no but then got an idea, smiling as she opened up her top drawer, tossing a copy of season one to Bingo, who caught it and got a good look at it. "There. Now you can watch the whole first season of the show and then we can watch the season two premiere together another time."

Bandit was glad to see Bluey compromising and hoped that Bingo would follow suite. "That sounds good, right Bingo? I'll even watch it downstairs with you."

Bingo didn't feel as if she had a reason to turn this down, smiling as she started to become glad that she at least got to watch something from the show. "I guess. (Looks at Bluey) Thanks Bluey."

"No problem." As Bingo and Bandit were leaving the room, Bluey reminded Bingo about something regarding the tape. "Oh, and Bingo. (Bingo looks at Bluey) I expect that back when you're done with it."

"Okay Bluey." Bingo closed the door and walked off with Bandit as Bluey and Jenny started watching the season two premiere of That's Lucky.

Chilli had just finished dinner as she then saw Bandit and Bingo watching Tv in the living room as Bandit wrapped her arm around Bingo. The episode the two of them were watching showed a Dalmatian with a baseball cap on looking out of the window of a barn in sorrow with his friends, three other Dalmatians, one with a black aptch over his left eye, one with one half of her being white and the other being black while also being a bit ont he chubby side, and the last one being more obese than the rest of them, easily taking notice to it.

Chilli was glad to see the life she'd formed as she then dinged this little bell on the counter to let everyone know dinner was ready. "Dinner's ready!" Bandit and Chilli ran over to the kitchen with Chilli handing Bandit two portions of the mac n cheese dinner. "Would you mind taking Bluey and Jenny's portions to their room? I gotta clean down our station."

"Not a problem babe." Bandit and Chilli kissed with Chilli picking Bingo up as she brought her over tot he table for her food. A cheerful Bandit entered Bluey and Jenny's room as they continued to watch the season premiere, handing them their food as he handed them their food while speaking as if they were royalty. "M'lady, I have brought you and your friend only the finest (Hands them their food) macaroni and cheese with the most brutal and punishing methods of obtaining it imaginable. (Bluey and Jenny start laughing) You may chop my head off if it fails to meet the bare minimum."

Bluey and Jenny continued laughing as they started chowing down with Bluey speaking up. "Thanks dad."

"Yeah, thanks Bandit." Jenny started scarfing down on her food, loving it and making Bluey laugh at the mess her best friend was making. "I'll let you know when I want seconds."

"You do that." Bandit responded as he left the room with Jenny then getting a taste from her macaroni and cheese. She seemed to love every bit of flavor that went into it, leaving Bluey to continue eating her's as they continued watching the episode.

Bluey and Jenny were done with the episode and before they could discuss it, Bluey revealed an idea she had in mind. "Jenny, I just came up with this game we could play with our friends after I get better." Jenny gave Bluey her full attention as she then explained her idea. "What if we play this game where one of us is sick, and the rest of us do a bunch of fun things to make them feel better? We can even mix it up a bit like have it take place during a live event and trying to help the sick kid watch it."

Jenny felt that idea could be fun, finding that taking care of a sick person would be a fun thing to try out. "That could be fun. Maybe we could even feel some of what Bandit and Chilli felt when watching you today."

"Exactly! It'd be like a remake of today." Bluey was glad that Jenny liked her idea, and then Bingo came into the room and handed Bluey her tape back as she asked how she liked it. "Thanks Bingo. How did you like the show so far?"

"It was a lot of fun." Bingo informed Bluey. "I watched the first two episodes and they were really good," Bingo continued to talk about the episodes with Jenny wrapping her arm around Bluey, who smiled when doing the same.
