Bluey and Jenny

Season one Episode twenty five: Muffin's Charades Episode

A Blue Heeler was shown in her bed as a German Shepherd about her age jumped on top of her, making her laugh with upbeat music playing. "Bluey and Jenny, (Bluey and Jenny fall out of bed while laughing) they're rarely seen without the other." Bluey and Jenny are shown to be in school wth a red heeler riding on Bluey's back, and a younger German Shepherd on Jenny's back. "Both are older sisters, (Jenny lifts her leg with Bluey gagging while laughing, Bingo just gagging, and the other German Shepherd laughing) as well as best friends forever."

Bluey and Jenny were shown to be walking through the forest with Bluey looking around in amazement. "Bluey is the truster, (Jenny is shown slashing at leaves with her sword) Jenny is the tomboy, (Bluey and Jenny find an amazing view of their town and look over it) they can make quite the pair." Bluey and Jenny are shown to be playing with Bingo and the younger German Shepherd as Jenny cuts down a bag of candy from a rope. "Also making things fun for Bingo and Chase, (All four of the kids laugh) with all the time they share."

Bluey and Jenny are shown to be decorating some kind of tree house in a backyard. "It's not imaginary, (Bluey and Jenny look out the window with Jenny giving a peace sign and Bluey leaning on the window) it's Bluey and Jenny."

Bluey was shown with Bingo, Muffin, and Socks as they waited patiently on the couch as an elderly Blue Heeler grandma sat down in the middle with a box of cards. Just as she sat down, Jenny hopped up onto the arm on the couch that was right next to Bluey with Bluey speaking up about the game. "Can I go first please Nana? I wanna give Muffin and Socks a good idea about what we're playing. Plus it makes sense to go from oldest to youngest."

"But I'm a month older than you are." Jenny reminded Bluey, and then she told her something about her birthday. "That reminds me; You saw that kid sized cooking kit I wanted for my birthday, right?" Bluey gave Jenny a thumbs up and grin, making Jenny happy. "Good."

"I suppose it wouldn't hurt." Nana responded in regards to Bluey's suggestion, opening the box to make sure all of the cards were there. "I trust you'll get them understanding charades quite quickly."

Jenny playfully rubbed Bluey's head as Muffin asked about the game, not really getting what she had to do. "What's Chawades?"

"It's easy Muffin." Bluey picked out a card to demonstrate what Muffin had to do. "You pick a card,"

Bingo finished Bluey's explination for her, hoping that Muffin would get it. "But don't let anyone see it, okay?"

"Okay." Muffin answered, and then Socks let out two playful barks as Jenny then took her phone out, catching Muffin's attention. "Why do you have that phone Jenny?"

"It's to check in on Chase." Jenny explained, stating why Chase couldn't join them that day. "There's this huge Plasticar live showing going on right now and I'm checking in every so often to make sure Duke's pathetic existence doesn't give him cancer."

Muffin was confused by the cancer comment as Bluey then saw that her card had a duck on it, putting it away and getting up to act it out with Muffin wanting to see the card. "What's on the card?"

"You'll find out soon enough Muffin." Nana assured Muffin, giving a caring smile as she let her know what was going to happen next. "Bluey is going to act it out, and we're going to guess what it is."

Muffin started to get a better understanding of the game with Bluey going in front of everyone and got ready as she saw Jenny put her phone away. "Alright. Is everyone ready?" Bingo, Muffin, and Nana said ready with Socks staring forward and Jenny giving a thumbs up, giving Bluey the cue to start her acting. "Okay then. Let's go."

Bluey started waddling like a duck with everyone trying to guess as silly music started playing, starting with Bingo, "Uh, eagle!"

"No."

And then Nana, 'Ooooh, it's a bush turkey."

And then Bingo again, "Eyebis."

And then Muffin. "Squirrel!"

"Nope."

And then Nana again, "Froga!"

And then Bingo again. "Chicken!"

And then Jenny took a guess. "Fat guy!"

Bluey snickered a bit with Bingo and Muffin laughing as Bluey spoke up about that. "What? Where would that one even be?"

Jenny shrugged with Nana trying to get Socks to take a guess herself. "What about you Socks?"

Socks simply shrugged, unsure of what Bluey was as Bingo then got the right answer. "Duck!"

"Yes!" Bluey stopped waddling as soon as she exclaimed that Bingo was right, leaving everyone to shout hooray in response.

Jenny hi fived Bingo as she got up to get her turn with Nana praising Bingo. "Dibs on the next turn!"

Muffin got up, wanting the next turn and trying to get the box from Jenny. "I want a turn!"

Jenny burped in Muffin's face, making her cover her nose and sit back down in disgust as Bluey called Jenny out when raising an eyebrow. "Jenny. You don't burp in my cousins' faces."

"Fine." Jenny picked a card with Bluey going to sit down in her spot, leaving Jenny to discover that her card had a ballerina on it, much to her dismay. "Ugh. I hate this one."

Jenny put the card away and started acting, with Bluey being the first to take a guess at what she was as Ballerina music played. Nana took the first guess, which was rather basic, since Bingo's first sign was a circle dance sign. "Oh...circle."

"Donut!" Bluey exclaimed, hoping she had the right idea for what Jenny was.

Jenny scoffed, smiling at the idea of eating a whole box of donuts. "I wish."

And then Bingo took a guess herself, "The sun?"

And then Muffin made her own guess. "Squirrel!"

"Squirrels don't dance" Jenny bluntly pointed out, hoping someone would get it soon as she kept dancing.

"Chicken!"

"I would kill for chicken right now, but no."

Then Bluey made another guess as to what Jenny was. "A dancer."

"Gettin' warmer."

Nana then encouraged Socks to have another go, feeling she'd have an easier time with this one. "Whatya think Socks?"

Socks shrugged again, not sure what to guess as Muffin then shouted at the top of her lungs. "CHICKEN!"

Bluey then figured out what it was, not hesitating to take the guess. "I know! Ballerina!"

"Jackpot!" Jenny responded as she gave a thumbs up to Bluey, relieved that she could finally stop dancing.

The other players praised Bluey for her correct guess, leaving Socks to look a bit sad with Nana comforting her. "Oh, nevermind Socks."

Bingo then got up to get her own card as Muffin questioned why Jenny didn't like the one she got. "Why don't you like that card Jenny?"

"I hate ballet." Jenny explained, and then she sat down as Bingo picked out her card and stated something else. "Your energy Muffin, would fit mine and Bluey's karate class perfectly."

Muffin found the sound of karate to be exciting as Bingo stood in front of the table while Jenny checked on Chase with her phone. When Bingo got a look at her card, it was shown to be a picture of bicycle, and she started making it out as the others started taking guesses, starting with Bluey. "Car!"

"Nope."

Then Muffin took another guess. "Chicken!"

And then Nana took one. "Boat."

"Uh-uh."

Jenny put her phone away as she asked why Nana thought it was a boat. "If it wasn't a car, why would it be a boat?"

"Well some boats can be ridden without paddles."

"True, but I'm pretty sure the paddle one would be Bingo's choice to mimc."

Muffin then took another random guess. "Squirrel!"

Jenny then figured out what it was and stated her answer instantly. "Bicycle!"

Bingo stopped mimicing the bike and cheered for Jenny getting it right. "That's it!"

Bluey and Jenny hi fived with Muffin then getting up to grab the box as she exclaimed that it was her turn. "It's MY turn!"

"Okay Muffin." Nana wanted to make sure Muffin knew what she was supposed to do as the Gray Heeler picked up the box. "Are you sure you know how to do it?"

"Yes, I know." Muffin assured Nana, picking out her card and heading to the front of the table.

"Now look at the card, and act it out." Nana reminded Muffin, and she did so to find that the card was of a frog.

Muffin was upset upon seeing this, showing the card to the others as she explained that she didn't want this card. "I don't want a fwog card. I want the ballerina card."

Nana was a bit worried after hearing that, not sure if she could make this fair for everyone if Muffin got her way. "Oh. Um..."

"You're not supposed to show us the card Muffin." Jenny chimed in bluntly, not wanting to deal with any bratty behavior. "You're disqualified, go-"

Bluey interrupted Jenny and explained to Muffin what she was doing wrong in the game. "Muffin, you have to do the one on the card."

"But I wanna do the ballerina!" Muffin exclaimed as she stomped her feet a bit and flailed her arms around at the end, leaving Nana to chime in before she threw a full blown tantrum. The last thing anyone wanted was for a three year old with ADHD to start freaking out over a fun, family oriented game.

"Okay, okay. Let's all calm down now." Nana wanted to make sure everyone was happy, so she decided that for now, Muffin could play her way. "Bluey, could you help me find the ballerina card please?"

Bluey didn't see any harm in that at the moment, going to get the box to look for the card as Bingo started copying a ballerina. "On it."

"Thanks Bluey." Muffin said as she put her arms behind her back and watched Bingo's impression play out.

While Bluey was looking for the ballerina card, she realized that they would know what Muffin was right away if they went through with giving her the card she wanted. "Hang on. (Looks at Nana) We're not supposed to KNOW what Muffin is. Giving her the card she wants would be cheating."

Nana saw Bluey's point, hoping she would understand what she was planning. "Oh, we'll just play along for the littlings, okay?"

Jenny started thinking about chicken due to all the times Muffin guessed it, hoping that lunch time could come around soon. "God, now I'm in the mood for chicken. (Looks at Nana) Chris, right? (Nana looks at Jenny) How good are you at cooking chicken?"

Nana thought for a moment, wondering what chicken Jenny currently had on your mind. "I think I can make a good boneless chicken with the right seasonings.

Bluey was currently struggling to find the card Muffin wanted, hoping she would be able to find it soon. "I can't find it."

"Keep looking." Muffin demanded as she crossed her arms while Bingo was still doing her ballet charade.

Bluey then pulled up a card with a car on it, feeling that it could be a good substitute. "Would you like to be a car Muffin?"

Bingo felt that one could be fun to do, stopping her ballet charade and commenting on it. "Ooh, that could be fun. (Lies down on he ground) You could even make motor sounds like this."

Bingo started mimicking a car, and Muffin wasn't buying it, finding that she was acting more like something else. "That's an engine."

Bluey wasn't really buying Bingo's car charade either, finding that she shouldn't be lying on the ground if she wanted to pull it off. "That's not a car. This is."

Bluey motioned her hands like a steering wheel while making the same sounds Bingo made, leaving Bingo to argue that it was wrong as well. "That's a steering wheel."

Muffin started stamping her feet on the ground, not wanting to be a car at all. "I, don't, want to be a car! I want to be a-"

"Ballerina!" Nana chimed in, having found the card for Bluey since she started looking after Bluey began acting like a car. "There you go Muffin."

"Thanks Nana." Muffin ran over to Nana and grabbed the card, getting a good look at it as Bluey and Bingo sat down.

Jenny was looking at her phone and got a picture from Chase, which showed a crowd for his favorite car raging. "Geez. I feel bad for the sane fans. Well...if there were enough to feel bad about."

Muffin started to get upset again, holding the card out as she demanded for something that was on it. "I need a tutu!"

Bluey and Bingo sighed with Jenny groaning as she pointed out another flaw with Muffin's demands. "It's not a play Muffin; you can go off script for this one."

"Okay littlings, calm down now." Nana chimed in, looking at Bluey as she gave her instructions on what to do. "I think I still have my old tutu from when I took ballet. It should be in the closet of mine and your grandfather's bedroom. Bluey nodded in response with Jenny and Bingo running off with her, leaving Nana to speak to Muffin about your behavior. "She's right sweetie. You can act like a ballerina without the tutu."

Bluey, Bingo, and Jenny were looking for the tutu with Bluey seeing that Jenny was getting annoyed by Muffin getting away with her temper tantrum. She knew chastising this mood wouldn't work, so she decided to assure her that it'd be okay. "It's just for the rest of the visit Jenny. When Muffin's older, she'll have a better understanding of charades and know how to do it right. This is kind of like a tutorial level in a video game."

Jenny sighed, feeling that Bluey was kind of right about that one as she still expressed annoyance over Muffin's behavior. "I guess. I just hope it doesn't last for too long.

Bluey understood what Jenny was getting at with Bingo finding the tutu at the bottom of one of the boxes. "Found it! It's a little dusty though."

"We can get that off quickly enough to keep Muffin happy." Bluey stated confidently, feeling that a little dust wouldn't set them back too much.

Bluey, Jenny, and Bingo arrived back into the room with Bluey and Bingo walking over to Muffin with the tutu. Jenny sat down next to Nana with Bluey giving Muffin her instructions on what to do. "Alright Muffin, we got the tutu. Bingo and I will help you, so try to get your legs in."

"Okay Bluey." Bluey and Bingo went over to Muffin and helped her get her legs into the tutu, albeit, struggling to do so.

As this was going on, Jenny thought about what being at Nana's was like while contemplating her family life. "So this is what having a grandma is like, huh?"

"I suppose so." Nana said with a smile, but then she noticed Jenny's expression and started to worry about her. "Why do you ask?"

Jenny didn't want to show any kind of emotion to Nana, deciding to just keep it hidden for now and try to get through the game. "No reason. Let's just hope this gets Muffin to finally have her turn."

Bluey and Bingo finished getting Muffin into the tutu and then ran back over to the couch with Bluey speaking up. "Alright Muffin. Take your turn now."

Jenny was seriously begging that this was the case. She was tired of Muffin acting the way she was about this, and she started to get a bit excited when Muffin looked like she was about to have her turn. However, Muffin instead had other plans as she exclaimed what was on her mind, and it was NOT something that anyone else was in the mood to hear. "I need ballewina music!"

To be continued.
