"Tomorrow, we will show Seabrook who we truly are. Then we make them pay for taking our moonstone!!! awooooooo!!" Addison declared with determination. Tomorrow is when I ask her to become my mate, right in front of Zed.
"Tomorrow, Seabrook will see the great alpha rise!!" I commented eagerly. I smiled as I watched the pack, they were all eager. This is probably the first in a while, I have seen them so happy. The pack started to playing don't get caught.
"Wyatt, thank you for believing in prophecy. Addison is right we now have the moonstone because of you." Willa remarked. She seemed much more relaxed that she was no longer alpha.
"Tomorrow is when I am going to ask Addison to become my mate." I revealed.
"You make her very happy Wyatt, she will be very lucky to have you as her mate." Willa responded, calmly. I smiled at seeing Willa so at peace, she wasn't tense for once.
"I am going to go talk to Addison." I remarked, before I went off to find Addison. She is a wonderful alpha, I know she will be a wonderful mate. What if she doesn't feel the same? things will change between me and Addison regardless.
"deep in thought." Addison commented as she was looking at Seabrook from the balcony.
"How did you know it was me?" I asked, shocked.
"ever since I wolfed out, I have more control over my senses. I'm still working on identifying one's scent, but I can tell when someone is watching me." Addison explained, proudly. I could tell something was on Addison's mind.
"Addison, What's wrong Addison?" I asked, concerned.
"Whenever you are around I feel this urge. I had this urge even before I became the great alpha. But now it's even stronger, do you know what I am experiencing?" Addison revealed, nervously.
"I know what you are experiencing, it's the urge to claim me." I commented, cautiously. Addison looked at me confused. " Werewolves have mates, it's basically like being boyfriend and girlfriend for life. Then once you are ready, you will have a kid with your mate."
"What!!" Addison snapped, her inner wolf was coming out. I looked at Addison fearfully, she noticed my fear. "Wyatt, I am not upset with you. I am just upset that my path is already set for me."
"Addison, aren't you happier now that you are the great alpha. No one can control you now, you are in control of your life. No matter what Addison, I will be by your side. I promise you that as your Beta, and lover." I declared, confidently. Addison looked at me shocked, I left Addison and curled up with the pack for the night.
The next day
I woke up to Addison, yelling at someone. My inner wolf came out, I rushed quickly to Addison's aid.
"Bucky, leave you aren't welcome here." Addison yelled, annoyed. I heard Addison yell, I saw her talking with Bucky in the center of the den.
"These wolf's aren't your family, you belong in Seabrook." Bucky commented, sincerely. He seemed different from the last time I saw him. "Zed won the election, I now realize how badly I treated people. But you have to help me, I am sorry Addison. Zed has changed so much these last couple of days. Please don't let innocent people get hurt."
"What are you talking about?" Addison asked, concerned.
"There's a rumor going around that, at prawn tonight. All the zombies are going to zombie out and turn us into zombies. Addison if that happens a war will start, one that won't be solved by putting a wall up or z-bands." Bucky revealed, fearfully. If a war starts in Seabrook, the humans may try to steal the moonstone again.
"Bucky, I need time to think about this. You will hear from me soon, Wyatt will find you once I have my answer." Addison remarked, calmly. Bucky walked out of the den. "You can come out Wyatt!"
"How did you know?" I asked, shocked. She rolled her eyes at my surprise.
"I'm the great alpha, and you're my beta. Wyatt what do you think we should do?" Addison explained.
"I think that we need to fight to protect Seabrook. What happened was between you and Zed, but now Zed is going hurt Innocent people. Just because you are one of us, that doesn't mean you should abandon The family that you grew up with." I commented. Addison howled to summon the pack. Within minutes the entire pack was back in the den.
"My cousin Bucky informed me that Zed is possibly going to start a war in Seabrook. I know we just got the moonstone back, but I want to hear your opinion on this matter." Addison announced. The entire pack looked around shocked to hear this news.
"Why should we help the humans that took our moonstone?" Wynter asked, confused.
"Because they have done nothing wrong. It was their ancestors that took our moonstone. That's like us being punished for what our parents have done." I answered, annoyed.
"I think that we should help them, but on a few conditions." Willa commented. The entire pack was shocked to hear Willa say that. I was expecting Willa to be against this, but she is supporting this.
"Who agreed with Willa's opinion?" Addison asked, calmly. The entire pack was whispering, I could hear them agreeing with Willa's opinion.
"Since you all agree with Willa, let the conditions be this. Any information in the future that may affect the pack, be brought to our attention. Second, you will have to listen to our orders regardless of the situation. Finally, they can't come near the den without a wolf with them." Addison announced.
"I like the final condition, this way the moonstone will be protected." Wynter commented.
"Wyatt go find Bucky and tell him what we decided." Addison declared. I sprinted out of the den and went to find Bucky. As I was sprinting through the forest, picked up Bucky's scent. I followed his scent and it led me to Seabrook high. Bucky was outside talking to the cheer squad in the courtyard.
"The werewolf is here." A girl with blonde hair commented. Bucky turned around and let out a sigh of relief.
"His name is Wyatt, Lacey." Bucky corrected. I was shocked to see him treat me like a normal person. "Addison has made her decision, the werewolf's will help you. But there are three conditions that you have to agree to. First, any information in the future that may affect the pack be brought to our attention. Second, you will have to listen to our orders regardless of the situation. Finally, cheerleaders can't come near the den without a wolf with them."
"I can agree to those terms, aceys spread the word to the football team." Bucky ordered. The aceys left, then the rest of the cheer squad left. "Wyatt can I ask you something?"
"Depends on what your question is about." I warned.
"Can you please give Addison this letter." Bucky asked. He handed me a white envelope, with the mighty shrimp logo on it.
"What changed?" I asked, confused.
"After Zed became President, I saw how arrogant he became. It made me realize that I had become a jerk. I have forgotten who I am, but I am not going to let Zed hurt the people I care about. Since the cheer squad is my pack, and I am their alpha. If you unde what I mean." Bucky explained, sincerely. I was shocked to see this side of Bucky. But I could tell he genuinely cared about the cheer squad.
"Bucky, you need to think about who you want to be. I can promise you that if you stop putting a wall up, and show people who you truly are. Then you will be so much happier, Addison is so much happier now that she is a werewolf." I commented.
"Well well, if it isn't the furball that kidnapped Addison. Then forced her to become a werewolf." A voice so familiar said. I turned around and saw Zed standing behind me.
"That isn't what happened, so stop Zed. Addison had a choice, she decided to become a werewolf so stop." I snapped, annoyed. Zed walked around me and grabbed Bucky. "Zed stop!!"
"Even though you aren't in charge anymore, Bucky you still cause me problems." Zed commented. He threw Bucky across the courtyard. "After tonight you will no longer be a problem."
Zed left the courtyard, I rushed to Bucky's aid. He had a cut on his left arm, he seemed to be knocked unconscious. I howled, hopefully Addison and some of the pack will arrive soon. One of thing is for sure Zed has to be stopped. He is truly a monster now.
