"You don't know what she wanted for me. I was there when it happened, she and I were at the edge of the forbidden forest. I was 6, we were spending some time at a creek. My mom heard a twig snap, she ordered me to stay by the creek. I was curious about what the sound was. So after a couple minutes, I went to go find her. I found her, a young wolf with dark brown hair and streak of white hair. Had taken her Z-band off, she had a bad cut on her leg. The wolf noticed me, I blacked out after that. When I woke up, I was back in zombie town." Zed revealed, sadly. I started to tense up as I realized that I am responsible for Zed's pain. It's time for me to face the consequences of my past.
"Zed, I know who attacked her." I revealed, sadly.
"Wyatt, don't make this worse." Willa yelled, she knew what i was about to reveal.
"Who attacked her FURBALL?!" Zed demanded, eagerly.
" In order to become Beta or alpha of the pack. There are 3 tests you have to take to determine your place. One is hunting, another is watching, the third is protection. For my test of protection, I had to attack anyone that came too close to the den. I was the one that attacked your mom." I explained. Zed looked at me and started laughing sinisterly. I could feel Addison looking at me shocked. She is probably disappointed in me, because i caused Zed to lose his mom at a young age.
"You steal my girlfriend from me, then turn her into a furball. Now I find out that you are responsible for my mom's death!!! Everything has changed for the worse, since you furballs came into Seabrook!" Zed yelled, furiously.
"That where you are wrong Zed, everything has changed for the better in Seabrook. You are the only bad thing that has happened and that isn't my pack's fault. That's your fault, Zed i have tried my best to be reasonable with you. But this mess all started because you couldn't accept me being a werewolf." Addison exclaimed, annoyed.
"I miss the shy cheerleader Addison, not this confident werewolf Addison." Zed remarked, bitterly. No one insults my mate like that!!!!
"You may not like this new version of Addison, but i love her. I am proud to call her my alpha, but I am truly honored to call her my mate. So try all you want Zed but you have lost everything. Addison will never be yours again, she is MINE!!" I exclaimed. All of a sudden all the Zombies passed out. What just happened?
"What happened?" Wynter asked, confused. "Does this mean Zed is no longer a threat to us?"
"I called uncle dale, he heard about what happened at Prawn. So he activated this special software that will put all the zombies into a deep sleep. Until they are in zombie containment, then the council will decide what will happen next." Bucky explained. Bucky, you are a lifesaver! I am not going to stay that out loud because I don't want to add to your ego.
"Let's take them out of the den, I don't want Z patrol to know the location of the den. Plus I don't trust them near the werepups." Addison commented. I think we need to talk about what just happened.
"Willa and I will take care of making sure that all the zombies here end up in Z patrol custody." Bucky remarked. I nodded my thanks to him, and followed Addison outside of the den.
"Addison, What's wrong?" I asked, concerned. She looked at me and smiled sadly.
"I don't want to talk about here." She explained.
"Follow me." I ordered. I sprinted through the forest, Addison is right behind me. The forest always looks so beautiful at night, hopefully this spot where I am taking Addison to will cheer her up. We finally arrived at the cave of Alpha's, I could sense that Addison was confused.
"Where are we Wyatt?" Addison asked confused but also intrigued.
"This is the cave of Alpha's, When a new Alpha is chosen or in your case found. They come to this cave to symbolize their promise to their pack. Willa never came here since, she was worried that if she left the den to come here. Something bad would happen, so she never left the pack." I explained. "I thought this is the perfect place to talk. Because I can tell you are upset about something Zed said."
"I am upset about what he said about liking the old version of me. It made me start to think that I have forgotten a part of me. I feel like I don't know who I truly am anymore." Addison explained, sadly.
"Do you want to know who I see you as?" I asked. Addiosn looked at and nodded, I walked over and kissed her deeply. I let my inner wolf come out to help my mate. "You are MY alpha! You are MY packs savior! You are MY mate!"
"Okay." Addison answered.
"Don't you see Addison, I love you for you. No matter how you look or how you act. That mark on your shoulder reminds me of one thing. Do you know what that mark on your shoulder reminds me of?" I asked, passionately.
"No." She answered. I leaned forward and kissed her mark on her shoulder.
"You are MINE, no matter what. It's a symbol of how we will always be there for another. More importantly we accept one another for who we are deep down, Outcasts. We will always be different, there may be times where people won't accept us for who we truly are. But all you can do to prove them wrong is, be yourself. Always remember that I will always love you for being you, to me you will always be Addison my mate." I explained, proudly. Addison looked at me and kissed me passionately.
"Thank you Wyatt, for reminding me of who I am." Addison remarked. " i feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. By finally coming to accept that Zed will never be able to accept that I have found my place.'
"Do you want to make your promise to the pack?' I asked, eagerly.
"Yes, it's time that I move forward and stop looking back on my past." Addison declared, confidently. I am so lucky to call her my mate, she is such a wonderful person.
"Follow me." I led her through the cave, she looked around amazed as she saw the cave light up from our presence. "This cave is filled with all of the previous alpha's moonstones. That's why it feels like there's a moonstone here."
Finally, we arrived at the podium where Addison will make her promise to the pack. I could sense a lot of emotions coming from Addison. But the biggest one I could sense was excitement. Addison placed her hand onto the moonstone podium, her inner wolf came out.
"I know that i wasn't raised as a werewolf, but i promise to learn the traditions of my pack with the guidance of my Beta. The safety of my pack is my number one responsibility. If my mate is a threat to the pack, I will do what is necessary to keep them safe. When I don't know what to do in certain situations, I will look to my pack's elders for guidance. I, Addison the Great Alpha promise, this to my pack for as long as I live." Addison promised. Her moonstone started glowing a bright blue, her eyes were glowing blue as well. Why are her eyes glowing the same color of the moonstone. The entire cave was glowing, finally the glowing stopped. "Let's go back to the den."
One more chapter until the story is finished. I was wondering if you guys would like for me to write a sequel. Where it would basically be 1 year since Prawn had happened. Things are finally going well for the pack, that is until someone tries to turn Seabrook against the werewolf's. Once again Addison is their main target for certain reasons. Now Addison has to fight for her packs safety.
