I am so sorry for the wait! I just couldn't get this chapter right. I am starting to feel better, finally!

I really hope this is satisfying enough.

Edward's hand tightens around his mug, his eyes staring straight at me. My leg is fidgety and my spine tightens. Stop. Don't give yourself away. Jasper sits opposite of me to the side. He's nibbling on some bread. He's acting off.

Images of what transpired between us just thirty minutes ago flit across my mind.

"Here's the code to the door." Jasper writes a series of numbers on my arm. "If we get separated, there's a handgun in the desk drawer of his office." He pauses for a moment then looks down. "And Bella, if we do get separated, just get out, don't go looking for me. It's too dangerous."

His face is tight, his eyes filled with fear. I touch his check and press my lips to his.

"We're both getting out of here," I whisper against his mouth. "We're both getting out and we're going to start over," I continue as he suddenly tears up. "We're going to be happy Jasper, we deserve to be happy."

Don't you dare fuck this up.

Edward sloshes the tea in his mug and I want to scream. Jesus, just fucking drink it already.

I casually take a bite from my tart.

"Well Pet," Edward says leaning back. "I've decided not to kill you."

Shocking. I nearly snort.

He looks down at his mug. "While lovely Rosie can't fully be replaced, I believe you'll be more than sufficient for the job."

This time, I do snort.

"Lucky me," I deadpan.

He smirks and lifts the mug to his lips.

My heart jolts.

Don't give it away too early! Jasper may not have put enough in.

I take another bite of my tart. "So who's the lucky lady?"

His eyes sparkle and he smirks again.

"Jealous?" He takes another sip of his drink.

I shrug. Just keep acting normal.

He leans back in his chair, fully relaxing himself. "Well, if you must know," he coughs. "There is-

Suddenly he leans forward, clutching his chest. His eyes, dilated, snap immediately to my own.

So it begins.

A smirk slowly unfolds across my face and I lean forward resting my hand against my cheek.

"Something wrong Love?"

His eyes narrow as he coughs. He stumbles to a standing position and immediately collapses to the floor, the mug falling and shattering against the white marble.

Jasper jumps out of his chair, it toppling backwards. "Bella, we need to go."

Jasper unties my legs and immediately runs for the door.

But I'm not done yet.

"Get the gun," I demand walking over to Edward.

His eyes are wild, predatory, and positively enraged.

It's delicious.

Jasper blanches at me. "Bella, www-we should go nnn-now.

I almost growl.

"Just get the damn gun," I snap. "We need to make sure he's dead or else he could stop us. We don't know if this will kill him or how long it'll incapacitate him."

Jasper fidgets with his hands before nodding and running off. He won't leave me here, he's too good for that.

I slowly crouch down beside a writhing Edward and take his hand. He tries to grab at me, but he clearly doesn't have the strength. I hover over his face, my breath tickling his cheeks as I skim my nose down his cheek to his neck. I press my lips against his skin.

"In all fairness," I whisper against his ear. "I did warn you."

He groans and struggles against me and I shove him back down giggling.

"Well, aren't you quite the fighter," I say with a smile. "What is that you said to me?" I pause bringing a finger to my lips. "Oh right. It's useless," my smile widens into something probably unnatural across my face.

He glares at me.

"You know, most people start hallucinating," I say nodding to his shattered mug then lean forward towards his face again. "I wonder what you'll see," I say still smiling. "Sadly, I won't be around to see it. Pity, it would have been entertaining."

Edward lets out a growl as Jasper opens the door and runs in with the handgun.

Finally.

He walks up to me and hands me the 9mm. I turn off the safety switch, pointing it directly at Edward's face.

Edward grins like a maniac. "You're going," he coughs. "To regret this."

His eyes are insane, his hands clenched so tightly his fingernails draw blood from his palms.

I tilt my head to the side and just peer at him.

"No," I say shaking my head. "No, I don't think I will," I finish with a smile.

Jasper fidgets behind me. "Bella, let's go-

I turn and shoot him in the head. His mouth opens, eyes wide as blood sprays and splashes against the floor he falls to the ground. Skin and brain matter are splattered against the white, marble flooring.

Suddenly Edward lets out the most inhuman sound.

Laughter.

I blink.

No. It's more like cackling. High pitched and annoying.

"You shouldn't laugh like that Love," I sneer. "It's unattractive."

He just laughs again, his eyes fluttering back and forth.

I stand and shoot him in the leg.

"Goddamn it!" He roars.

"Consider this my parting gift Love," I say smiling before standing up and head out the door. "I have so enjoyed our time together."

I round the corner, following the instructions that Jasper gave me.

Idiot.

As if I'd carry around human baggage.

My fingers fly against the keypad to the front door. As soon as I open it, another man suddenly turns. His eyes go wide at my appearance and he reaches for his gun.

I shoot him.

"Bella!" Edward's roar erupts as my legs sprint towards the fence. Jasper claimed he unlocked it prior and thank fucking god he did. I open the gate and run through. I keep running. I don't stop.

Fuck.

Why didn't I kill him?

Pain shoots through my bare feet.

Why the fuck didn't I kill him? Why did I risk it?

I keep running.

I can't keep thinking about it now. I'll obsess over the why when I'm home.

I run for what feels like hours, my feet bloody and skin peeled off, until I hit a road. I stumble across the pavement, an older car screeches to a halt.

I collapse.

An older man and woman hurry out of the car. Their faces etched with worry. My eyes blink, my mouth opens. No sound comes out.

My body feels like it's being carried.

They're speaking, but I don't understand. It's just words, twisting and falling into something unrecognizable.

My eyes struggle to stay open.

Don't go to sleep.

The woman is wiping off my face, whispering something.

Don't go to sleep.

Something wet falls against my face.

She's crying. Why? I want to gouge her eyes out.

So weak.

Don't go to sleep.

My eyes flutter, my vision blackening at the sides.

Don't-

My eyelids slide shut.

Well damn. Jasper didn't get his happy ending.

To be honest, the plan was always to kill Jasper off. I felt that it was necessary for Bella's character.

Don't worry though! We still have one chapter left.

Is Edward dead? Did he survive? And why didn't she just kill him off?

Also, Edward's backstory is going to come out next chapter. So don't worry, your questions about Edward's history and who was Jasper is all going to be answered.

For now it seems Bella has finally gotten what she wanted.

Please let me know what you think!
