The women of JNPR, Nora and Pyrrha, have taken Emerald and Cinder for a field trip. Mercury was stuck in Beacon calling it a girls day out. "Tch! They are outside! They can run away but nooooo..."

Mercury's rant is interrupted when Jaune walks in holding a baseball glove. He hands it to the assassin, who looks at it confused. "What the hell are you doing?"

"We are going to an awesome game while the girls are having fun." Jaune said as he holds two tickets but he thinks to himself and then points at Mercury. "I mean you shall see a world of torment!"

'Pretty sure you were never threatening.' The assassin looks at him as he grabs him and forces him outside. "Hey what are you doing?! Let me go!"

"No can do Mercury. We are going out."

The Vale Amusement Park is a treasure of the kingdom. Rollar coasters, a large pool, and laser tag is a favorite in the park. Cinder laughs as she and Nora takes a picture with Mockey Mouse while Pyrrha and Emerald eat ice cream together. Nora grabs Cinder by the hand and takes her to the next rollar coaster.

Emerald points at the giant spinning teacups and the Mistral champion guides her to it. They spin, laughing at the dizziness and nausea. After it they hold their stomachs, not wanting to vomit their snacks.

"AAHH!" They look up and see Cinder and Nora yelling on the roller coaster diving down. Though it looks like Nora is enjoying it while Cinder appears to be crying and screaming. Emerald cannot help but snicker at her boss's face with tears and snot coming out. "I CAN HEAR YOU EMERALD! PLEASE GET ME OUT I'LL TELL YOU ANYTHING, SALEM'S PANTY COLOR IS-!"

"WWEE!" Nora either ignores or can't hear her as she cheers as the coaster is suddenly upside down.

"Nononono- AAHH!" Cinder pleads as they go faster. Nora carries the frightened Fall Maiden out of the Roller Coaster and places her on the table seat.

"That was amazing, Cinder! Let's go again!" Nora says with a skip in her step and Cinder's eyes widen but luckily Pyrrha is to the rescue.

"Actually Nora, why don't you get some pretzels for us? Go with her Emerald." The Champion of Mistral suggests and the former thief nods and walks with Nora to the concession stand. Cinder is able to get her bearings and realise that it is just herself and Pyrrha on the table.

"Uh so-"

"Do you like Jaune?" Pyrrha interrupts Cinder and asks her, which makes the Fall Maiden blush.

"I-I-I do." She confesses but looks away embarrassed to say it out loud. "But what about you? I believe you have a crush as well."

Pyrrha looks down but still smiles. "I did but when I confessed, he said he couldn't because he saw me as a sister."

"Oof." Cinder can practically feel Pyrrha's heart being stabbed however she looks happy.

"I was sad at first, but it is fun to hang out with him. He is our big brother after all. You should tell him your feelings." Pyrrha advises but Cinder doesn't know if he can. "Trust me, I think he will accept. He is very kind."

"What the fuck ref! That is a clear foul!" Jaune shouts and is about to throw his drink at the referee but Mercury grabs him. "Calm down Jaune. Our team is still winning."

Jaune nods and sits back down to watch this baseball game. Mercury enjoys this game and can't help but feel a fatherly aura Jaune has. He eats a hotdog and is suddenly shaking thanks to Jaune.

"Homerun! Get your glove! Get your glove!" Jaune orders and Mercury, by instinct, grabs the baseball and gives it to Jaune.

"Here you go dad." Mercury realizes what he just called him but Jaune smiles and accepts the gift.

"Thank you son." He looks at the ball but looks sad. "Hey Mercury, do you have any advice you can give?"

"Um sure with what?"

"You know Cinder, do you know anything she would like?" Jaune asks as he sits beside his new adopted son.

Cinder and Emerald walk into their dorm room, having fun in the park but what they find inside is Jaune holding a present. "There you are, Cinder. Here you go, this is a result of your good behavior."

He hands her the present wrapped in red wrapper and a yellow bow on top. She can't help but admire the skills made to wrap it perfectly. "This is like those presents you see in a mall next to Santa. You are so nice Jaune, thank you."

She pecks Jaune on the check as a gift which he finds as a gift greater than the likes of any gold or drink. He looks at Cinder unwrapping the present, excited for her reaction. She opens the box and takes out the gift. Her eyes widen as she stares at the present. Emerald is curious and looks over Cinder's shoulder. What she sees is a leash with a chain attached to it.

"Mercury…" Emerald mutters as she knows he is the only one to suggest to Jaune that this is a gift Cinder would love. She can even see Cinder shaking in anger. "This gift…"

"Mother please don't hate father, he was clearly tricked into doing this!"

"I love it!" Cinder said with a cheer looking at the chain and leash. "You know what I love Jaune!"

She grabs Jaune by his shirt and pulls him towards her to make out. Emerald holds her nose as she watches this make out session. Cinder looks at him with love. "Let's go use this."

Emerald's nose bleeds and collapses as Jaune and Cinder walk out. The former thief is passing out from blood loss so she can't hear Jaune ask Cinder a question.

"What dog breed would you like?"

"Oh how about a pug?"
