Chapter 9

******I do not own the character that is presented in this story. Character belongs to E. L. James.

Ana arrived at Escala 20 minutes early and waited 10 minutes in the car. Ana wanted to go into this meeting with her eyes open. From what she could tell from her last meeting with Mr. Grey and Ms. Williams. The both of them did not seem like they were in love. More like a contact relationship. Another thing she noticed was that they were looking for one before they got married. Were they planning to get married soon and looking to start the process early? Ana was all for being a surrogate to them. Ana needed the money to help pay for Ray's medical bills. It just didn't sit well with her when it came to the two of them. She just couldn't put her finger on it. The vibe came from them both, but more so with Ms. Williams. Mr. Grey seemed more like he was very private and wanted to keep it that way. She could understand that from the look of his apartment, he had money and a lot of it. But, who was she to judge them in any way, her life wasn't picture perfect? Example number one: I'm trying to be a surrogate for money.
Plus, Ana had her own issues with her relationship, or what it wanted to be called at the moment. Thinking about her relationship with her boyfriend for 2 years. She really couldn't call it a relationship because they were never together. Drew was a writer that took his craft way too seriously. He is in the midst of writing a book that documents the adventures of an explorer throughout Spain. So Drew is in Spain…. Having an adventure…. For him to write about,... for an imaginary character. So that the story will seem authentic, Drew says. Ana thought it was a load of cow crap. He was just off spending mommy's money and calling it a job.

Ana had met Drew in one of her college lectures for her history class. The lecture was about experiencing history first hand instead of reading it in a book. It was a very interesting lecture. Drew was one of the teacher's guest speakers and former students who had graduated three years before and spent the time traveling. Ana thought that was inspiring, so when she went up to Drew after class to talk about other places he traveled. His beautiful green eyes, dark hair that stops just below his ears, his just got a tan from laying in the sun skin, bright smile, and killer body. She was a goner. They ended up hitting it off really well. That one thing led to another thing, and then another thing. Then they eventually started dating. Now two years later, she couldn't even bring up the emotion of attraction for him, even if someone paid her a million dollars.

The question is why hasn't she ended things? She can't get in contact with for the last month he has been in the wind. The last time she talked to him, he told her he was disembarking from the plane and heading to his hotel. His friends have said that he is fine, and they have talked to him and not to worry. So I don't worry. That may seem heartless, but if you can't take a minute to contact your girlfriend, but can call your friends, then screw you with a rusty pipe.

A car honking its horn brings Ana out of her thoughts. Ana looks at the time, and her ten minutes are up. She gets out of the car and heads towards Escala for her meeting.
