Naruto set the bag of take-out on the dining table, letting out a sigh when his stomach proclaimed that it was more than ready. He couldn't help but smile when Minoru reached around him to gently pat his stomach.

"Soon," Minoru said with a chuckle. He moved to the cabinet and retrieved a couple of glasses. And as if reading his mind, Naruto took the iced tea out of the fridge.

"You know," Naruto drawled, twisting the cap off the bottle and gave Minoru a sideways leer, which earned him a quirked eyebrow in response, "The clerk at the shop was full on flirting with you."

Minoru snorted as he took out the take out containers, "What?"

"The clerk," Naruto repeated, "Obviously, he has good taste, I can't blame him."

Minoru gave the older man a squinted look, mainly out of confusion, "He was just making small talk."

"Mhmm," Naruto chuckled and took a seat, dark eyes still squinting at him as if not understanding, "I was just making an observation."

Minoru took a seat next to Naruto, smiling at how the older man closed his eyes at the aroma of the food, "Well, if he was, I was completely oblivious to it," he opened his own container, the sweet smell of teriyaki increasing his appetite, "Honestly, I've never been one to catch on to that sort of thing," he scoffed, "Remember Hatchi?"

Naruto hummed in agreement around his mouthful, nodding, "That wasn't flirting though," he said after swallowing, "...I don't know what that was."

Minoru chuckled as he chewed, shaking his head and took a drink of tea. Cerulean eyes gave him a curious look as the blonde chewed, and he tilted his head in response, "Yes?"

"I'm just curious, if you were single - like I didn't even exist, would you go for it?" He took a drink of his tea, "Would you have reciprocated the flirting?" He clarified.

Minoru swallowed his food and furrowed his brow, "I don't know" he said honestly.

"I mean, just humor me," Naruto continued and chuckled, "Did you think he was cute?" He took another bite of food and curiously studied the younger man. Minoru shrugged in response and dark eyes told him that it was a sincere "I don't know" shrug.

There was a pause.

Naruto moved his gaze from his food, to the younger man, and then back to his food, "Minoru," he started, and met the younger man's questioning gaze, "I've never asked this because honestly, it doesn't matter. And it's never come up."

Minoru gave the older man a smile, curious as to where this was going, "What...?" He noticed how the older man thought of his words and he couldn't help but find it endearing.

"What... Hm, do you have a preference?" He asked and a dark brow quirked in response. Minoru took another drink from his tea, "as in... Men? Both men and women?"

Minoru furrowed his brows, "You." He answered simply. There was a change in the cerulean eyes that were already on him. There was a slight pause in the older man's jaw as he chewed and swallowed. Followed by a slow sigh.

"We need to pause this conversation."

"What do you -" the surprised yelp that escaped him made him flush. Naruto's movements caught him by surprise, and he somehow found himself with his legs around the older man's waist and hands on his rear. Not to mention a very evident bulge nudging him as he was carried to the bedroom.

He couldn't help but grin. He sealed his lips over Naruto's in a languid sensual kiss, sighing when he felt Naruto growl low in his throat. His back met the bed and hands spent no time undressing him.

Their bedroom echoed their heavy breathing as they laid there. Minoru sighed as a warm hand smoothed down his back and rested on waist.

"Okay," Naruto breathed out and cleared his throat, making Minoru laughed against him, "So...me..." he continued from their previous conversation.

Minoru smiled and propped himself on a forearm to look down at the blonde, "You," he repeated. He thought of his words, "How do I explain this..." The hand around his waist traced his hip, "When I first started having romantic feelings for you, it was towards you... And then I became physically attracted to you."

Naruto nodded in understanding and a thought occurred to him, "So, have you ever had the kind of reaction towards someone where you think 'oh man, they're really cute' or 'I would really want to see what under that'?" He ended with a chuckle when Minoru snorted.

Minoru shook his head in thought, "I don't think so. I mean, well..." He felt himself flush despite himself, "I had those thoughts towards you...I still do" he said with a leer. He propped his head in his hand, "You know, I never gave this much thought - is the common reaction towards someone 'oh they're cute'?"

Naruto nodded, "You could say that. I think a common form of attraction is a physical one."

Minoru looked off to the side in thought and chuckled, "I know that's how you were, especially when you were a teen" he laughed at Naruto's groan.

"Oh, God, I was such a typical teenager." He looked at the younger man, and noticed the thoughtful look on his face. Dark eyes turned to him, "So, I was lucky enough to be your preference". He smiled at the light glow that illuminated the younger man's eyes.

"Most definitely," he swiftly moved to straddle the older man, warm hands naturally fell to his hips and smoothed up his flanks. He sighed at the caress, at the way Naruto looked up at him and smiled. That smile. He leaned down kissed him, "Most definitely my preference."
