Author: Hi guys. Hope you all have been doing well. I am SO sorry for taking forever to update. I had a bit of writer's block. Not to mention, I haven't been myself lately. One of my friends just passed away and I'm also on the verge of losing my best friends and on top of all that I have been sick (lucky me?).

I also want to apologize for this chapter. It might be pretty bad but I promise the next one will be a lot better. I'm already about halfway done with it so hopefully it won't take forever to update again. If there are any mistakes, I will fix them later.

Anyways, enjoy!

I CAN'T BELIEVE I DID THAT!

Right now, it's early in the morning and I have been rolling around on the bed like an absolute spaz since last night. I barely got any sleep last night because yesterday's memories were constantly replaying in my mind and it was driving me crazy.

I CAN'T BELIEVE I KISSED SONIC...I MEAN HE KISSED ME OR...UGH!

The more I thought about it, the more I couldn't control the blush in my cheeks. I buried my face into my pillow trying to get my brain to shut up but of course it doesn't work that way.

Why did Sonic kiss me? Or a better question would be, why did I kiss back? Did I enjoy it? Did he enjoy it? Why am I asking myself so many questions? What's wrong with me? Do I need to go back to therapy?

Knock! Knock! I heard a knock at the door. A groan escaped my lips as I rolled out the bed. "Ow..." I mumbled as I hit the floor with a thud. Finally, I pulled myself up and shuffled towards the door. I opened to the door to be greeted by a smiling Amy. "Morning, Sa- woah!" She exclaimed at the sight of me. My hair and fur must look pretty wild and unruly from spazzing out like a maniac. "Um, Sasha...did you get into some kind of fight in your sleep?" She asked in confusion. "Uh...sort of..." I replied, rubbing my eyes sleepily. She giggled at my response. "Well, we are supposed to meet up with everyone soon, so you should get ready." "Ok, I'll be down in a little bit." Amy nodded as she went back downstairs.

After she left, I walked into the bathroom and took a quick shower before brushing my teeth and combing out my hair. Then, I walked back into my room and changed into a black and gray oversized sweatshirt with rips in the sleeves, gray tights, and black converse.

Finally, I walked downstairs to the living room where Amy was waiting for me. She was sitting on the couch with a bored expression on her face. As soon as she saw me, her face lit up. "Are you ready now?" She asked as she stood up. "Yea, I'm ready." I said with a nod. "Alright then, let's go." She said as we both headed out the door.

Amy and I finally reached the meeting point. I looked around to see everyone I met from the first time we all got together were all here. The only difference is that a certain hedgehog was missing. "Morning, girls." Said a familiar voice behind us. Amy and I turned around to see none other than the blue devil himself.

"Sonic! I missed you so much!" Amy screamed as she practically tackled him into a death hug and planting multiple kisses on his cheek. I averted my eyes in embarrassment as flashbacks from yesterday came back to haunt my mind. "Heh...I missed you too, Amy." He chuckled nervously as he pried the pink hedgehog off him. "Hey, Amy! Can I talk to you for a second?" Silver called out to Amy. "Coming!" She said as she ran off. After she left, I felt Sonic wrap his arm around my shoulder and pull me closer. "But I think I missed you more." He said, placing a kiss on my cheek.

Aww man! What do I do?!

"Yea...I missed you too..." I said sheepishly while trying to conceal the blush rising in my cheeks. "Are you ok, Sasha? You look tired." He said, brushing my bangs aside to get a better view of my eyes. Almost immediately, I brushed them back where were. "Ohh...um yea I...didn't get much sleep last night." Sonic raised an eyebrow before smirking at me. "Couldn't sleep, huh? Too busy thinking about me?" I chuckled nervously. "Heh heh... no..." Sonic opened his mouth to say something else but was cut off.

"Hi guys." "What's up, Sal?" "Sonic, Tails said he needs to speak with you." "Alright, I'll be there in a sec." Sonic said before looking at me. "I'll talk to you later ok?" I nodded at him in response. With that being said, he placed another kiss on my cheek before zooming off. Slightly flabbergasted, I looked over at Sally who was glaring at me. "So, you and Sonic, huh?" She asked, crossing her arms.

Oh snap...

"Huh-Oh...well umm...you see what had happened was-" I stammered nervously but was quickly cut off by sound of laughter. "It's ok, Sasha. I'm just messing with you." Sally said in between her giggles. "Oh..." I mumbled while releasing a breath I didn't even realize I was holding. "Don't worry. Sonic and I may have history together but that was in the past." She said, giving me an assuring smile. "The person you should be worried about is that one over there." Sally said pointing to a certain pink hedgehog who was talking to Silver. A deep sigh escaped my lips. "Yea, I know." "Don't worry about it too much. Amy may be a little...extreme when it comes to Sonic but I'm sure if you two just let her down easy about the two of you dating, I'm sure she will understand." I nearly choked on my own saliva.

Wh-what?! Dating?! We aren't dating...I mean I don't think so...are we?

"Well, why don't you talk to him about it." Sally said, snapping me out of my thoughts. Realizing that I said my thoughts out loud, I mentally face palmed myself. "Yea, you're right. I'll talk to him." I said. "Good. I gotta admit though, Tails is right. You two loudly make a cute couple." She said, causing my face to turn almost as red as Knuckles.

I need to have a little talk with that little fox.

I watched as Sally giggled at my expression. "Anyways, I'll see you later, alright?" She said, and I nodded in response. "Ok, bye Sally." I said as she walked away.

"Morning, Sasha." I turned around only to be greeted by Tails. "Hi, Tails. Listen, I need to have a word with you." I said, glaring at the kitsune with my hands on my hips. Knowing exactly what I wanted to talk about, Tails instantly got worried. "Uh oh..."

"So, what is this meeting about? Is it any bad news about Eggman?" Silver asked, once the meeting started. "Actually, it's good news, but it's not about Eggman." Sally informed. "Then what is it?" Sonic asked sounding a bit impatient. Knuckles narrowed his eyes at the hedgehog but answered his question regardless. "We found two chaos emeralds." My eyes widened in shock. "What?! We have never found chaos emeralds that fast!" Tails exclaimed. "At this rate, we will have Sasha back home in no time at all."

They already found two chaos emeralds. If they keep finding them this fast, I would be back home sooner than I hoped. I was hoping to stay here and start a new life. Sure, it would mean living on a planet in another dimension that's probably more dangerous than mine and not to mention I'll probably be a tiger for the rest my life, but I don't mind at all. Everyone here is so much nicer that it's almost unreal.

I was deep in my thoughts until I felt someone grab my hand. Surprised at the sudden contact, I turned to the person next to me, but instantly relaxed once I realized it was the blue blur. I opened my mouth to say something, but Sonic put a finger to his lips, signaling me to be quiet as he pulled me away.

Sonic pulled me until we were outside. Hand still in mine, we began walking around. After what felt like forever, I finally decided to break the silence. "So, why did you want to bring me out here?" I asked as I glanced at him. He shrugged his shoulders. "Just wanted to get some fresh air." He said, keeping his gaze straight ahead. I narrowed my eyes at him but didn't press any further.

Something is definitely on his mind.

"Hey, Sasha? Do you like it here on Mobius?" My brown eyes widened in surprise. "Yes, I do... Why do you ask?" I responded. "Just asking..."

Hmmm...reminds me of Anthony. He would ask me random questions too but when I would ask him why, he would just give me the same response. Makes me wonder what be going on in his head too.

"Anthony..."

Wow...haven't thought about him in a while... I hope he is doing alright.

"Who's Anthony?" I glanced at Sonic to see him giving me a curious look. "Oh, Anthony's my best friend back home. He's the best and he loves to run just like you. I wish you could meet him." I said. It felt good to talk about my Anthony especially after I haven't seen or thought about him in a while. I really do miss him.

"Oh really?" Sonic asked, crossing his arms. "Yea, I think you two would get along pretty well." I said, with a small smile. Sonic scoffed while rolling his eyes. "Sure."

Is it me or does Sonic seem to be jealous?

"Don't be jealous. ~" I sang as I bopped his nose."Pfft! I'm not jealous!" He said, swatting my hand away as he began to blush. "Sure, whatever." I said, unable to keep myself from giggling. Sonic chuckled as he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me closer. Heat quickly rose to my cheeks, letting me know I was blushing. "Did anyone ever tell you how cute you are when you blush?" He asked, placing his forehead on mine. By now, my face was probably as red as Knuckles.

"Umm Sonic...can I ask you something...?" I asked nervously. "Of course." He said without hesitation. "Umm...what are we...? I asked, almost regretting it. "What do you mean?" He asked, tilting his head in confusion. I felt myself gulp as I try to build up the courage to finally ask what's been on my mind.

"... are we...together...?" I finally forced out as I glanced back him. Sonic looked at me with wide eyes. I wasn't sure if was surprised that I asked or surprised that he never thought about it.

He looked away, seeming to be deep in thought, before his emerald eyes met mine again. "Well, it's up to you. Do you want us to be together?" I practically froze at this. My heart began to pound in my chest.

"Hey, don't sweat it ok?" Sonic said, snapping me out of my thoughts. "If you're not sure yet, then just think about it." I could do nothing but stare at him with wide eyes. "R-really...?" I asked, stumbling on my words. He smiled and nodded at me. "Of course, I'm not going to force you into something you don't wanna do."

I smiled and nodded back. "Thank you." Sonic smiled and winked at me. "No problem, but you know it would make me happy if you said yes." I glared at him, playfully. "What? I didn't say I wasn't going to try to influence your decision." He said, smirking at me. I rolled my eyes but giggled regardless. "Sure, whatever." I said as my dark brown eyes met his emerald green ones. I didn't notice before, but his eyes were so mesmerizing, almost as bright and shiny as a real emerald. Being distracted, I didn't even notice Sonic leaning in until his lips had touched mine.

At first, I was stunned but melted my way into the kiss. It was different from what I have ever felt before. It actually had...feeling.

Maybe...just maybe...there is hope for me. Mayb-

"Sonic, are you...out... here...?" We both broke away quickly, startled by the unexpected voice. We turned our heads to see the dreaded pink hedgehog.

She stared at us at a complete loss of words. Her dark green eyes shifted between the two of us before they finally landed on me. Her shocked expression quickly turned into rage. "You!" She yelled as she pulled out her hammer. "Amy, wait...Just calm down..." Sonic said cautiously pushing me behind him.

"YOU'RE TRYING TO STEAL SONIC FROM ME!" She screamed as she charged at me. Without hesitation, I ran took off running the opposite direction. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't very fast, so she caught up to me quickly. "Wait, Amy!" I yelled as I dodged her swing, but she refused to listen. Before I knew it, I had tripped over a tree root. I turned around to see Amy her hammer pulled back. Right before she could bash my skull in, Sonic yanked her hammer out of her hands.

"Would you just chill out, Amy?! It's not what you think!" He yelled as he threw her hammer away, so she couldn't reach it. "Yes, it is! She was kissing you! Why did she kiss you?!" She yelled while pointing an accusing finger at me. "Amy! I'm the one that kissed her!" He said out loud. Amy stared at him with wide eyes. Silence fell between the two hedgehogs. The tension was so thick that you could cut it with a knife.

"Wh-what...s-so you two...are...?" She stammered as she looked at me with green eyes filled with hurt. I opened my mouth to say something, but before I could get a word out, she had ran away with tears in her eyes.

"Amy, wait!" Sonic yelled out to her, but she was already gone. Sonic sighed heavily before reaching a hand out to me. "Are you ok?" He asked as I took his hand, allowing him to help me off the ground.

No... not again...why does this keep happening to me...?

"... she's really upset..." I mumbled, while dusting myself off. "Yea...I wish that went better... Don't worry though, she'll calm down... eventually..." He said, rubbing the back of his neck. "I'm going to go talk to her." I said as I began to go after her. "I don't think that's a good idea, Sasha." Sonic said, as he grabbed my arm. "I've been through this before, Sonic. I don't want her to end up hating me. You should talk to her too."

"You're right. I'll talk to her later. I'll see you later, ok?" I nodded. "Sure."

~Time Skip~

How could I be so stupid? Why is it that every time I think I have a chance, something goes wrong? I'm such a lost cause!

I took out my key and began to unlock the door until I realized it was already unlocked. I walked inside and closed the door behind me. "Amy?" I called out to her, but i didn't get an answer. I went upstairs until I reached her bedroom door. I placed an ear on the door only to hear muffled sobs coming from the other side.

Finally, I built up the courage to knock on the door. "Amy...? Can I talk to you...?" "Go away!" She yelled.

Ok...I guess I deserved that...

"Please, Amy?" I pleaded. "Just leave me alone!" She yelled again. Frustrated but determined, I huffed and put my hands on my hips. "Amy! You have five seconds to open this door, or else I'm busting it down!" Silence was the only response I heard. "Five...four..." I backed up until my back touched the wall. "Three...two..." I continued, but still got no response. "One!" I yell as I ran towards the door. Just as I was about to kick it down, the door flew open, causing me to trip and tumble into the wall across the room.

"Ow..." I groaned as I glanced up to see the pink hedgehog glaring at me. I stood up and rubbed the back of my head to soothe the small lump that had formed.

I glanced around her room for the first time since I've been here. The color was obviously pink like the rest of the house with a fair amount of white to even things out. The only thing that made this room different from all the other rooms was the numerous pictures of a certain blue hedgehog.

"Your room is...nice..." I commented awkwardly. She rolled her eyes which were bloodshot from crying. "What do you want?" She asked as she wiped away a few stray tears.

"Me and Sonic aren't dating." I confessed. Amy tilted her head in confusion. "You're not?" I shook my head in confirmation. "But...doesn't he like you and...don't you like him?" She asked. I sighed heavily as I averted my eyes. "It's...complicated..." I said, combing my fingers through my messy bangs.

"I see..." She said as she glanced at the floor. "I'm really sorry, Amy. I didn't mean to hurt you or an-" I started until Amy cut me off. "No, I'm the one that should be sorry. I overreacted and then I attacked you. I could have really hurt you. When it comes to Sonic, I can't help but let my emotions get the best of me..." She admitted as she buried her face into her hands.

"If you don't mind me asking, what made you fall for him in the first place?" I asked. Amy removed her face from her hands as a nostalgic smile spread across her face. "When I was younger, I had lost my parents and then I was kidnapped by Metal Sonic and was supposed to be taken to Eggman to be roboticized. I thought it was all over for me, but then Sonic came and saved me. Ever since then, I've always wanted to be with him."

I couldn't help but listen to her story.

So that's why she has feelings for him. He saved her when she had begun to lose hope. I know how that feels...

"Wow...I didn't know..." I mumbled. "It's ok." She said with a small smile. "Look... I...I don't have many friends. In fact, I barely have any so... um..." I felt heat rise in my cheeks as I mentally cringed at myself.

I sound so stupid. Am I that pathetic that I am asking for friends?

My thoughts were cut off by the sound of giggling. "Of course, we can still be friends if that's what you're asking." My eyes widened in surprise. "Really...?" I asked, making sure it wasn't a joke. She nodded with a big grin on her face. "But...aren't you still mad...?" I asked. "I don't like to hold grudges, because if I did, I wouldn't have awesome friends like you." She said as she grabbed my hands and gave me a closed eyed smile. I honestly couldn't believe what I was hearing.

She still wants to be my friend even after everything that happened?

Before I knew it, a smile had formed on my face. "Thank you, Amy."
