Author: Hey guys! Once again, I'm so sorry for the long wait. (I feel like I say this every time.?) I don't intentionally take this long to update. Unexpected things keep popping up in my life and getting in the way of my writing time (along with writer's block?).
This chapter was turning out to be pretty long and I didn't want to keep you all waiting any longer so I split it into 2 parts. (although I might split it into 3 parts)
A few of you guys have been asking me if this story is still going or has it been discontinued. I really appreciate your interest guys but there is no need to worry. If I were to discontinue this story, I would make sure I let you guys know. But so far, I don't plan on discontinuing.
On an unrelated note, my birthday was about a week ago.? It's hard to believe I was 17 when I started writing this story and now I'm 22.

I sighed happily as I stretched my arms up. I couldn't wait to hang out with Sonic, Tails, and Amy. Today, we're going to Angel Island. I always wanted to see what the floating island would look like in real life.
Without wasting any time, I went into the bathroom and brush my teeth. Afterward, I went back to my room and searched for something to wear (which wasn't hard since I don't have many clothes.) I decided to put on a black long sleeve shirt, a camo vest, matching cargo shorts, and my favorite timberlands.
As soon I was dressed, I gave my long brown hair a quick brush then ran into the kitchen to grab a quick breakfast. "Morning, Rouge." I greeted as I pass the white bat who was casually drinking her mug of coffee. "Someone's up early for once. Is it because you're spending the day with a certain blue hedgehog?"
"No! It's because I'm going to see Angel Island for the first time." I denied it while I grabbed an apple from the fridge. "While you're there, think you can grab the Master Emerald for me, pretty please?" She begged. "No way! Knuckles would kill me! Anyway, how do you expect me to carry that thing?!" I exclaimed as I sat down at the table.
The bat shrugged her shoulders. "It's not as heavy as it looks. Oh well. It would be more fun to do it myself, anyway. I enjoy messing with dear old Knuckie. Maybe I'll pay him a visit on my next day off."
"Oh boy..." I mumbled before taking a bite of my apple. "Don't tell him about it. I want to surprise him." I chuckled at her. "I won't."
Finished with her coffee, Rouge washed out her mug before leaning on the table. "Sooo, what's going on between you and Big Blue?" I rolled my brown eyes. "This again?"
"I can't help but be a curious bat." She admitted, feigning innocence. "More like a nosy bat..." I mumbled under my breath.
"Sooo?" She insisted. I tried my best to find the right words. "I mean, we're...pretty close...in a way..." I somewhat explained before finishing off my apple. "That's all? He didn't take you anywhere special or give you any smooches, hmmm?~" Feeling cornered, I couldn't stop myself from blushing.
Crap! What should I tell her?!
Right at the perfect moment, the doorbell rang. "That's the door! Gotta go!" With that being said, I threw my trash away and hurrying to the door. I opened it to find, my blue savior the blue hero.
"Hey, Sasha. Are you ready?" He greeted. "Yup." I replied.
"Be sure to bring her back before her bedtime." Rouge instructed, causing Sonic to burst out laughing. I shot Rouge an annoyed glare, who gave me an amused grin in return. "We'll finish our conversation later." She whispered to me, causing me to groan.
That's not a conversation I wanna finish...
~Time Skip~
"Hi, Sasha."
"Hey, Tails."
"Watcha workin' on?" Sonic asked. "Just making some modifications to the star posts." Tails answered simply.
"Star posts?" I asked curiously. "The star posts are like teleporters. They can open up portals to different planets and dimensions." Tails explained.
Oh yeah! I remember these things now!
"Why are you working on those?" Sonic questioned. "Once we get all the chaos emeralds we will be able to send Sasha back home to her world. In order to do that, I want to make sure that the star posts are strong enough to do that." Tails explained. "Oh...right..." I mumbled, trying to hide the disappointment in my voice.
I should tell them that I don't want to leave, but...how would they react? Would they let me stay or would they make me leave...?
Tails sighed, sounding a bit overwhelmed. "I'm hoping that I'll find a way to transform you back to a human by then. By the way, I want to run a quick scan on you to see if there have been any changes, Sasha." Nodding my head, I stepped into the scanner thingy.
Tails focused his attention on the monitor while Sonic tapped his foot impatiently. "Well?" He asked. "Hmmm...I'm not seeing any changes, which is probably a good thing. Has anything new happened recently, Sasha?" I hummed to myself thoughtfully. "Oh yeah, I can use chaos control!" I announced proudly. "What?! How?!" Sonic and Tails asked in bewilderment. "Shadow taught me." I said, poking my fingers together shyly. Tails rubbed his chin thoughtfully, while Sonic frowned. "That's really interesting. I wonder if there's anything else he can teach you."
"He doesn't need to teach her anything! Come on, guys. Let's get going." Sonic snapped before storming out. I glanced at Tails who only shrugged his shoulders. "Heh...Sonic and Shadow don't get along very much. But he's right. We should get going." He said before following his blue bestie. I began to follow the two out of the lab until...
"Wah!" My foot got caught unto a stray cord, causing me to trip. Fortunately, I grabbed onto the side of the control panel to keep myself from hitting the floor. "Woah! Sasha, are you okay?" Tails asked worriedly. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just tripped, that's all." I assured. "Sorry about that, Sasha. I really need to clean this place up..." He apologized while rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. "It's alright, Tails. That's what I get for being clumsy." I dismissed. As we walked out of the lab, a thought had just occurred to me.
I didn't press anything when I tripped, did I...? Eh, I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.
~Time Skip~
We were in the Tornado on the way to Angel Island. Tails was piloting the plane, Sonic was standing on top enjoying the breeze, while I sat in the passenger seat trying to calm my anxiety.
Don't look down! Don't look down! Don't look down! Don't look down!
"You alright, Sasha?" I glanced over to see Sonic giving me a concerned look. "Wh-when does this nightmare e-end...?!" I asked, feeling my claws dig further into the seat cushion.
"Don't worry, Sasha. We'll be there in a few minutes." Tails informed. "He's right. Just sit tight and I promise we'll be there soon." Sonic assured as he started to scratch behind my ear. I had no idea why but it felt so good. Unconsciously, I leaned into his touch and started purring.
That feels so good.~ Wait...What?!
Immediately, I smacked his hand away, causing the blue hedgehog to laugh at me. I crossed my arms and pouted, trying my hardest to stop blushing.
Stupid hedgehog!
Thanks to the little distraction, I didn't realize that we had just arrived at our destination. Wasting no time, I fumbled out of the flying metal deathtrap. "Land! Sweet land!" I cried out as Sonic and Tails both jumped out of the plane. "Jeez... I wasn't flying that bad was I?" Tails asked, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. "Naw, she's just being a little overdramatic," Sonic said. I stuck my tongue out at him, causing him to do the same.
"Hey! Knuckles!" Tails called out. Said echidna, looked over in our direction. "Oh great... What are you guys doing here?" He asked, clearly not pleased by our surprise visit. "We came to visit." Tails replied simply. "Yeah, but why?" Knuckles asked, still unamused. "Come on, Knucklehead! You know you need the company." Sonic teased, causing Knuckles to growl angrily. "How many times have I told you not to call me that?!"
The two of them started bickering while Tails tried to diffuse the argument. Not surprised by this, I rolled my eyes and decided to do a bit of exploring. Standing up, I strolled away from the three and into the jungle.
Unlike the forest, everything was so colorful. There were so many different plants and sounds I've never seen or heard of before.
This place is so cool! I wonder if jungles look like this back home on my planet.
Suddenly, a rustling noise came from the bushes nearby. I froze in my tracks.
What was that...?!
The sound grew closer and closer by the second. Slowly, I began to back away until...
~Meanwhile~
Third P.O.V.
"Don't you guys ever get tired of fighting?!" Tails asked, annoyed by the two. "Shut up, Tails!" They both yelled at the poor two-tailed fox before continuing their argument. Tails rolled his eyes and glanced over at the tiger next to him until he noticed that she was gone.
"Wait a minute! Where did Sasha go?" Tails asked as he looked around frantically. Sonic and Knuckles instantly stopped bickering and started panicking. "She was just right here!" Sonic exclaimed, looking around. "She couldn't have gotten far, right?" Knuckles asked, also panicking.
"Well, well, well! A pleasure seeing you three again." The three mobians looked up to see the person they were least hoping to see.
"Eggman! What are you doing here?" Knuckles exclaimed. "I just happened to be in the neighborhood and decided to visit my favorite enemies." The mad scientist replied sarcastically. "Well, since I'm here, I just have one question. Where is the girl?"
Sonic let out an exasperated sigh. "Usually, I wouldn't tell you anything but this time I can honestly tell you that I have no idea where Sasha is." Dumbfounded, Eggman couldn't do anything but stare blankly at the blue hedgehog. "What do you mean you have no idea where she is?! How did you lose her?!"
"AHHHHH!" The males jumped hearing a sudden scream coming from the distance.
"SASHA!"
"OH HO HO! So she's here on the island, isn't she? Perfect! I can get my experiment back then I can finally continue with my brilliant plan! See you later, Losers!" Eggman zoomed off in his flying egg mobile.
"We have to find Sasha before Eggman does!" Tails panicked. "We're gonna have to split up. We can cover more ground that way." Sonic suggested. "When one of us finds her, we'll contact each other on our communicators and meet up by the Master Emerald." Knuckle explained to the two.
"Sounds like a plan!" Sonic gave one of his signature thumbs-up before speeding off through the jungle. "I'll look for her in the Tornado so I can get an aerial view." Tails stated before hopping in the plane and taking off. Knuckles groaned and shook his head. "I didn't ask for any of this today..." He mumbled before running off in a different direction.
The race to find Sasha was on. Who will find her first? Stay tuned for part two to find out!
