Author: Hey everyone! I pray that everyone is doing well with this virus going on. Since I've been stuck in the house, I've been focusing on finishing this chapter. I didn't realize how long it's been since the last update. Stupid writer's block!?

Btw, has everyone seen the Sonic movie? I saw it when it came out on Valentine's day. I loved it! They made Sonic so adorable!?

Sasha's P.O.V.

"AHH! Get away from me!" I screamed as I fended off my attacker. It hissed at me aggressively as it's grip tightened on me. Just as it was about to go for the kill, I grabbed it tightly by throat, causing it to release me. As quickly as possible, I threw it into the distance. "Stupid snake..." I mumbled as I dusted off my hands. Just then, I accidentally stepped on a pile of leaves, causing me to fall.

"AHHH! Oof!"

I groaned in pain as I got up and dusted myself. "I forgot that Knuckles likes to keep traps all over Angel Island..." I tried to climb out the hole the way I came, but it was no use. The hole was too deep to climb out of. Pulled out my phone and attempted to call Sonic and Tails. Thanks to Tails' handy work, I was able to contact their communicators through my phone. Unfortunately, that feature was of no use to me right since I had no signal.

Looking around, it seemed like there was some sort of tunnel down here.

Guess I don't have a choice...

Taking a deep breath, I started making my way through. The deeper I went, the darker it got. "Ouch!" I exclaimed as I ran into a wall. I pulled out my phone and turned on the flashlight. I continued walking through the tunnel. That is, until I ran into a little problem.

"You've got to be kidding me!" I complained, staring at the multiple pathways. "Eenie meenie minie...moe." I chanted to myself as I chose a random path. Praying that it was the way out, I cautiously made my way through. Unfortunately, I ended up right back in where I started. "Ugh!" I groaned in frustration.

Suddenly, I heard the faint sound of rapid footprints approaching. I couldn't tell where they were coming from but they were getting closer by the second. Nervously, I closed my eyes and braced myself for any violent creature that was about to attack.

"There you are!" I opened my eyes in surprise. "Knuckles!" The red echidna ran up to me. "Are you hurt? What happened to you?" He questioned in concern. "I'm alright. I uhh...may or may not have wandered off on my own. Then I kinda got attacked by a snake before falling down here..." I admitted, sheepishly. "What?! Why would you wander off into a jungle by yourself?!" He scolded angrily. "I like adventure..." I responded simply, causing him to facepalm. "Jeez, you're nothing but trouble." He said, shaking his head. I huffed at him. "Hey! I don't look for trouble. Trouble just always seems to find me."

Knuckles rolled his purple eyes before he started walking down the path he came from. "Whatever! Just follow me, this is the way out." Without hesitation, I quickly followed him out of this stupid underground maze.

~Time Skip~

Finally, we made our out of that nightmare of a trap. As soon as we were out, Knuckles called Sonic and Tails on his communicator. "Hey, guys. I found her." He said. "What a relief!" I heard Tails exclaim. "How is she? Is she okay?" I heard Sonic ask. "Don't worry, she's fine." Knuckles responded. "Good. Let's hurry up and meet up by the Master Emerald before Eggman finds her." On Tails' last note, everyone hung up. "Eggman?" I questioned, tilting my head. "Yeah, he's here looking for you." Knuckles responded, causing me to shutter. "Aww, man..." I groaned.

After walking for a little while, we arrived at a huge alter. Knowing exactly what's up there, I gasped in excitement. "The master Emerald!" Excitedly, I ran up the stairs. "H-Hey, wait...!" I heard Knuckles say but I didn't listen. Once at the top, I was able to get an eyeful of the master Emerald. "Oooooo~" I cooed as my brown eyes soaked in the glow of the enormous green jewel. Slowly, I poked my finger out to touch it.

"Don't touch it!" Knuckles shouted as soon as he reached the top of the alter. "But it's so shiny and cool..." I said, pouting. "Do you even know what it is?!" He questioned as if I had no idea. "Of course I do! It's the Master Emerald. It's a giant powerful gem created by the gods that keeps Angel Island floating." I elaborated. "H-how do...you know so much about the Master Emerald...?" Knuckles asked, stunned by my knowledge.

Curse me and my big nerdy mouth!

"Uhh...Tails...told me about it." I lied, hoping he would buy it. Fortunately, he nodded his head in understanding. "You still shouldn't be so reckless." He lectured. "Sorry... It's a bad habit of mine." I apologized. "You should really do something about that habit of yours. I can only imagine how you drive your friends and family crazy back on your planet."

I felt my feline ears droop sadly. "Actually, I have barely anyone that cares about me back home. I guess that's why I find myself in situations..." I explained before sitting down on the steps. Knuckles' gaze softened a bit. "Well, you have a lot of people who care about you here. Especially that blue idiot." He said, truthfully. A small smile tugged on my lips. It felt nice hearing those words.

"But still, don't you at least value your own life?" He asked, catching me off guard. "O-of coarse I d-do...!" I cringed hearing myself say that. Even I didn't believe that lie. Sighing deeply while placing my hand on my scar.

How much longer am I going to continue lying to them...?

"Gosh, I hate myself..." I accidentally mumbled out loud. "What did you say?" Knuckles asked. "Uh...i-it's nothing!" I quickly dismissed. We were soon met with an awkward silence until I decided to break it.

"Soooo, I'm not supposed to tell you this but Rouge plans on paying you a little visit." I informed. "What?!" Knuckles exclaimed. "Yeah, I'm not sure when exactly but she said soon so prepare yourself." I warned. "Why though?" He asked. "Isn't it obvious? She misses you.~" I teased trying hard not to laugh at the red echidna's flustered face. "And she misses the Master Emerald." I added, making Knuckles scoff. "That sounds about right. Wait, why are you telling me this if she told you not to tell me?" He asked. "She promised to take me on a mission but instead she left me. So this is my way of getting revenge." I replied with a smirk on my face.

Just then, a blue streak was speeding its way over, causing Knuckles to sigh in annoyance. "Here comes that blue pain in the neck. Come on." He said, ushering me to follow him down the stairs. "Sasha! Are you okay?!" Sonic asked, zipping up to me. "Don't worry, I'm fine." I replied calmly. "Don't ever wander off like that again! Okay?" I rolled my eyes at him. "Okay, mom! Jeez!" It's funny, I never would have imagined Sonic as a lecturing parent. I understand that he's looking out for me but I can take care of myself.

"I'm glad you're safe, Sasha!" Tails exclaimed, thankfully. I smiled at him in return. "You guys should get out of here before Eggman comes back." Knuckles suggest. "AHH!" I screamed as a giant metal claw suddenly grabbed me and lifted me off the ground. "Ho ho ho! I'm afraid it's too late for that." Eggman shouted before flying off in his egg mobile with me in his grasp.

"Sasha!"

Thinking quick, Tails ran to the Tornado and grabbed something. "Sasha! Catch!" Tails yelled, chucking something my way. I was able to slip my arm free and caught the item. I wiggled one of my arms free before catching it.

A chaos emerald!

"What?! A chaos emerald! Hand it over!" Eggman demanded as he tried to reach for it. Without wasting any time, I chanted the words.

"Chaos Control!" In the blink of an eye, I teleported out of his grasp and appeared back on the island with the others.

Eggman stared into in utter surprise. "Sh-she can use chaos control?! Hmmmm...that's very interesting..." He suggested to himself before flying away in his egg mobile.

"That was close!" Sonic exclaimed, sighing in relief. "Well, at least Eggman is gone." Knuckles said. "Yeah, for now..." I mumbled. "What do you mean?" Knuckles asked, confused.

"Now Eggman knows that Sasha can use chaos control, he's going to want to find out what other powers she might have and try to use it as part of his master plan." Sonic explained to him. "Shoot...that's right..."

"The good thing is that he still has no idea that you're staying at Rouge's place. It's probably best that you just lay low there for a while. Just refrain from leaving the house just in case Eggman comes looking for you again." Tails instructed, making me groan.

Great... So I'm basically grounded...

~Time Skip~

"That was fun!" Sonic raised an eyebrow at me. "What part of today was fun? The part when you got lost on the island or the part when you almost got abducted by Eggman, AGAIN?" I chuckled nervously while rubbing the back of my head. "I'm glad that you're having fun, though. When you first came here, you were very closed off and distant. Kinda like a certain hedgehog I know... It's good to see that you've gotten comfortable here." I felt heat rise to my cheeks.

He's right. I've been feeling...different since I have been here.

We arrived back at Rouge's place. Sonic rang the doorbell. After a short moment, the door opened to reveal...Shadow? I watched as the two hedgehogs glared at each other menacingly.

"Faker."

"Faker."

As Shadow glanced at me, his gaze softens. "Hello, Sasha." I smiled at him. "Hi, Shadow." I noticed Sonic eying both of us suspiciously.

"Well, look who finally made it back. I hope you guys had fun today." Rouge said as she popped up from behind Shadow. I sighed in relief, thankful that she broke the tension in the air. That is until a cocky idea came to Sonic's mind.

"We had lots of fun today, right Sasha?" Sonic said before boldly placing a kiss on my cheek. My cheeks grew so hot that I thought my face was going to explode.

Why the heck would he do that?! He never did anything like that in front of anyone! Did he do that just to spite Shadow?

I glanced at Shadow who glared at the blue hedgehog with a hint of envy in his crimson irises. "Hmph! I'm outta here." Shadow huffed as he brushed past Sonic, who smirked at him triumphantly. After Shadow stormed off, I mentally groaned to myself.

I can only imagine how pissed he is on the inside...

"I'll catch you both later. See ya!" Sonic bided before speeding off. Once he was gone, I closed the door and released a breath I didn't realize I was holding. "Well, well, well.~ What was that all about?" Rouge teased. "What?" I asked. "Apparently, something really is going on between you and Big Blue. So, does that mean you're his girlfriend? What would Amy and Sally think?"

"Woah! Woah! Woah! First of all, I am not his girlfriend! Second of all, I've talked to both Sally and Amy already. Sally doesn't have a problem and Amy...well...we've talked things over." I clarified. "Mmhmm, so where does that leave you and Shadow?" She pressed. "I... uh...don't know what you're talking about..."

"I may be a bat, Hun, but I'm not blind. I see how you two look at each other. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were caught in a love triangle."

"Sorry, but I think you're imagining things." I claimed nonchalantly. "Hmmm, alright then. But just so you know, I have a way of finding things out." I gulped, knowing very well that she's not bluffing. "If you want my opinion, I think you should pick Shadow. Nothing against Big Blue and all but a hero like him comes with a lot of baggage, especially dealing with that loudmouth, Pinky. Sure, Shadow may be moody majority of the time, like a certain someone I know." She insinuated. I stuck my tongue out at her, causing her to chuckle before continuing. "But since he met you, he has been...less moody than usual. Besides, it's not often that someone catches the eye of the Ultimate Lifeform."

"Anyway, I'm sure you're hungry soI left pizza for you in the fridge. I'm heading off to bed. I'll *yawn* see you in the morning. Goodnight." She said before heading off to bed.

Hearing my stomach growl, I realized that I was indeed hungry. After eating a slice of reheated pizza, I went straight to the bathroom for a nice warm shower and to brush my teeth. Afterward, I threw on my PJs then dived into bed. Staring up at the ceiling, I couldn't help but wonder what would be my next adventure.

Hmmm, I wonder what my next adventure will be.

Finally, I let my exhaustion lull me into a deep and dreamless sleep.

Shadow's P.O.V

Who does that faker think he is?! Kissing her like that in front of me!

I clenched my fists furiously.

I've never felt this way before. Is this what envy feels like? I swear that girl is going to drive me insane.

I watched as the blue faker ran by. Wasting no time, I dashed after him. Once I was close enough, I threw my fist into his jaw, causing him to collide into a nearby tree.

"Ow...! What the heck was that for Shadow?!" He questioned as stood up and dusted himself off. "What was that?" I questioned, demanding an answer. "What was what?" He questioned, rubbing his sore cheek. "Don't screw around with me, Faker! You know exactly what you did!"

He then gave me a knowing smirk. "Yeah? So what? You wouldn't happen to be jealous, would you? In case you haven't noticed, she's mine." I clenched my fists angrily before calming down.

"It doesn't matter. Neither of us can be with her. She is not one of us, remember? She doesn't belong here." I reminded him. He sighed in disappointment. "Yeah...I know... But what if she stayed?" He suggested.

I can tell the faker has gotten really attached to her. And frankly, I have grown fond of her as well. She's a very interesting girl.

I shook those absurd thoughts out of my head. "Don't be ridiculous. She could never stay here." I responded to him and my own thoughts.

Preparing to leave, I pulled out my green chaos emerald. "That reminds me, when do you plan on giving us your chaos emerald? You know we need it." He asked. "When you finish collecting the other six, then I'll give you mine. Until then, it stays with me." I simply stated. "And Shadow?" I raised an eyebrow at him as his features turned into a threatening glare. "Stay away from Sasha. I don't trust you with her." I was nearly tempted to laugh at his so-called threat.

If only you knew, Faker.

I smirked at him. "Hmph, no promises." Anger adorned his feature as he launched at me. Before he had the chance to attack me, I chaos controlled away.

? P.O.V.

It's been a while since I've been on Mobius Prime. Just as I expected, everything looks the same as the last time I was here. Same ol' pathetic punks, same ol' pathetic planet. That is until I saw her. I had to admit, she a babe. Although, I've never seen her before and I don't think I've seen anyone like her in my home dimension.

Whoever this chick is must be pretty important for Blue and Stripes to be fighting over.

Heh, looks like I'll be changing my plans.
