The Rileys of New Jersey arrived in Pine Valley during the great depression. The parents, fifteen year old Tom Dennison and his eleven year old paternal half siblings, the twins Joe and Eileen Riley moved to a cheap house in 1935.
As Tommy left the house to attend World War Two, his mother stayed with his stepfather and watched radio serials. The other children left the house in 1943. Possibly the most boring family ever in Pine Valley.
