Once again, The Fierce Deity shoved us away in a panic across Hyrule Field so it could focus on changing the armor back to its former cursed state. But as we were sent flying across the field, we began to fall. I assumed that The Great Fairy would activate the wings and keep us aloft, but she and I shared my body along with the pain it receives. She likely must have lost control of the wings like I had with our limbs. We fell down to the land below together, crashing into the hard rock with a loud BANG. I could feel something inside me break, but due to the electricity shutting down my body I couldn't feel the pain. Instead it felt as if something had simply shifted around instead of breaking. I tried to move or do anything at all, but our body rejected any attempt of being productive. The only thing that I could do was watch the dark clouds sprinkle down ash from the sky.

But before my vision went dark, I could see some golden light grow brighter and closer. To both my own and The Great Fairy's relief, we had secured another Triforce piece. It went into my Triforce Mark and a warm, comforting feeling swept throughout our body. The pain was erased from the muscles and all of nerves were restored along with them, giving me feeling. The wound on our shoulder blade was mended and our heart began to pump blood throughout the body, restoring energy to the both of us. Then finally the healing sensation filled our head and restored my mind, allowing me to completely regain control of myself. I sucked in a large gulp of air, feeling refreshed to taste the cold (yet disgusting) air.

As I sat up I was suddenly blasted with intense heat from my right. So then turning to investigate, I found a giant mass of approaching lava! I jumped up and stepped away as fast as I could, but after calming down I realized that the mass was moving very slowly, and would be in no danger if I simply stayed far enough away. The flood of lava was coming from the recently erupted Death Mountain, caused by Zant and Adri's chaos. I pondered for a moment if that was also Adri's intention from the start, but it was too confusing at the moment to think about so I brushed it off quickly.

I turned back to the Deity, who was still hovering high up in the air and trying to fix the armor I had purified. I could not see well enough from where I was, but the chestplate had a similar material to the gauntlet. Just like last time, it was jerking back and forth to defy the Deity and stay out of its control. The soldier on the inside was still fighting after all this time to regain control; to stop the cursed armor before it was too late. I felt bad for them, but I knew that I still had to do what had to be done.

The Triforce mark began to glow a light red when I looked back to it, and then the same process as the previous weapon summon began. The mark rippled like a pond in a rainstorm, then a drop of red light rose from it. It hovered from the mark to slightly above my head then began to stretch and morph into the weapon. But unlike last time, the drop of light separated in two as it took shape. Both of them mimicked the other's movements perfectly, forming its weapon just like the other. Looking at the weapons, they seemed as if they were long and bulky, but still shorter than Zelda's rapier. As the transformation completed and a flash of red light came and went, I was able to clearly see my next set of weapons.

The two weapons were designed after Zant's scimitars, having the same shape as his blades. The weapon was split into two halves: the handle on the bottom half and blade on the top. You could also notice where the two halves were split by a slight color change, since the blade itself was considerably brighter than the handle. The blade was curved outwards in a wide arc, and the inner side bared a sharp curve that dipped in and out of the side, as if half of a circle was cut out from the blade. But while the form of the scimitars were directly similar to Zant's, the actual design had changed drastically. The handles' colors had changed from an inky black with red lines traced throughout into a seafoam green with black lines traced throughout. The handles may have had similar colors to one another, but the two blades each had their own design. The right scimitar blade was combined with wild, raging flames that crackled around the blade, while still keeping its shape. Even from where it had been floating it felt as if my eyebrows would be singed. The left scimitar blade was combined with numbingly freezing ice, appearing to be on the verge of shattering at any time but always able to hold itself together. With the two blades so close together, steam had formed from the two clashing elements.

I plucked both of the scimitars out of the air and held one in each hand while I inspected them both. Similar to the rapier, these weapons felt weightless in my hand which let me cut through the air with ease. The intense temperatures from both weapons would be too much if I didn't have The Great Fairy's power within me. Checking the Deity quickly, and seeing that it was still struggling, I took some time to try and think of what I could do with my new weapons.

'Since the rapier was a combination of Logan and Zelda's weapons,' I thought 'then this must be a combination of Adri and Zant's powers.' As I thought of that, my grip on the scimitars loosened. If I had only gotten the weapons of Link, Zelda and Zant then I would have understood and focused more on the battle. Those three were chosen by the Triforce to help stop the Deity and restore Hyrule. But Adri, Logan and Lora were all fakes; just puppets created by The Fierce Deity. So why did the weapons also combine their powers? All of this confusion was throwing me off balance during the battle.

'They were the Deity's allies, weren't they?'

I shook myself away from those thoughts and looked at the Deity, who was across Hyrule Field, once again converting the part of armor I had used the Memory Orb on to its original form. Since the purified chestplate was larger than just the single gauntlet, the Deity was forced to use more energy to re-curse the piece of armor, giving me more time to think before the battle resumed. I thought back to what both Zant and Adri could to to consider my options.

'First, Zant could cast orbs of dark energy which could cause immense pain to whoever it hit, including himself. He could also make orbs of Twilight energy which could explode; I saw those from our fight at Lake Hylia. And if I remember correctly, the others said both Adri and Zant could grow gigantic during their fight at Castle Town, becoming larger than the castle itself. Zant could also fly and teleport, but I can already do that so it couldn't make much of a difference.

'Next, Adri could use multiple fire attacks, letting her be able to fly and create giant tornadoes of flame. But during our final fight, she also used a ground-pound attack to cause an earthquake, so maybe Adri could have other abilities too-Possibly super strength for the ground pound. I remember her running so fast during the final fight to where she only became a blur, so maybe super speed? But there were times when she didn't do that as well, even when it was necessary. So why not combine both of them at the same time? Could she not?'

"The Deity has finished healing itself!" The Great Fairy said, directing my attention back to the possessed soldier. It was still flying above Hyrule Field but was now preparing its sword once again. I could see that even after the sword disappeared and reappeared, it was still surrounded by the dark lightning. I readied both blades (thankful that the Triforce of Wisdom gave me the experience to wield them properly) and prepared to fight again, trying to think of a way to get rid of the lightning. I knew that it would be a major problem if I was struck by the lightning again, so I tried to think of any way to fight against it.

This time, instead of waiting for us to come to it, the Deity flew towards us and took the offensive. It would take only a few seconds for it to reach the other side of Hyrule Field, so I tried to use any ability I could think of that could stop its approach. Since I didn't know how to use the abilities of the scimitars, I began to improvise and cut the flame scimitar through the air. A streak of flames lingered in the air where I had slashed, flickering above the ground. With the Deity closing in, I thrust the flame scimitar out towards the Deity, causing the spread of blazing flames to become a giant fan of fire, shooting in its direction. But since it had already fought against me with the rapier, it was expecting surprises and flew above the flames, still fast approaching and too close to try something else. The Great Fairy activated the wings and dragged me out of danger at the last moment, sending the god into the lava behind us. After thanking her quickly, I raised the ice scimitar to try something new while the Deity emerged from the lava, seemingly unscathed. I pointed the blade down into the lava and out from it shot a quick jet of ice and snow. Right as the two elements touched, a portion of the lava was replaced with a thick blanket of ice in the blink of an eye! I could see a faint glow from the lava underneath as well, showing that the lava was actually only covered with ice instead of transforming into it.

The Fierce Deity attempted to attack, but quickly realized that its legs were stuck within the ice. With both of the scimitars pointed forward, I summoned Zant's pain magic and let it surge towards the Deity while it was still half-frozen. Several orbs hit its upper body as the ice holding its legs in place was smashed by the Deity's sword, and I could hear a loud grunt of pain as it hunched over. I assumed that the god would be still again, trying to use its own magic to brush off Zant's, but instead it continued what it was trying to do before and flew towards us in a livid rage. I raised up both scimitars to block but forgot about the dark lightning until right before the Deity striked. The blades clashed and I could feel yet another electric surge throughout my body, and I grimaced in advance to prepare for the pain, while the Deity seemed extremely satisfied.

But this time, the pain was almost completely nullified. The knives carving the insides of the skin came when the blades first clashed, but it was numb this time, and I felt a very warm, tingling feeling inside of my arms. Not that much effort was needed to block the attack either; it felt like all I needed was a slight shove and the Deity would be pushed back, stumbling backwards with confusion.

'Is this from the Triforce of Power?' I thought. 'The Triforce of Wisdom helped me actually use these weapons, so the Triforce of Power must be helping as well!'

Through my strained stare, I saw that the scimitars were also slightly glowing, and the Deity had not noticed just yet. our heart began to slowly beat faster and faster, pushing me to counter the Deity before it burst from the sudden energy. I used Farore's Wind and teleported above the Deity in a flash, then swung both of the scimitars down in the Deity's direction, discharging orange lightning through the blades! The possessed soldier noticed us teleport and looked upwards to prepare to counter, but not expecting the lightning, it faltered and failed to dodge out of the way. The lightning was sent coursing throughout its body like it did to me and stunned the Deity as we touched down onto the ground. I looked in amazement at the blades, piecing together what just happened.

'The Deity used my lightning from the Rapier for its own sword, but the scimitars were able to reflect it?' I questioned. 'So maybe the rapier can summon lightning and the scimitars can store and redirect it!' I grinned as I looked back to the Deity, who was brimming with rage as the lightning's effects began to wear off. I noticed that its sword was still filled with the dark electricity, but since I had the scimitars I could be prepared to counter whenever the Deity attacks. It seemed like the fierce god noticed this too when it looked down at its blade. I tried to deny it from trying anything else to fight back and teleported close to try out more of the scimitar's magic. This time I tried to summon Zant's dark energy; I knew that it likely wouldn't do that much, as it only caused pain, but I wanted to see what I could do with the blades. When we reappeared, the Deity was turned away from me and was instead dipping its blade into the lava that poured from Death Mountain. I didn't hesitate to let it fight back; I thrusted the blades and summoned Zant's orbs of dark energy to envelop the Deity's body in its entirety! The Deity grimaced from the pain, but it didn't do much else, which was what I was expecting. I knew that I had to catch the Deity by surprise, so even a slight flinch was what I needed.

While lifting the twin blades to attack, the Deity pulled the sword out from the lava, and I flinched when I saw the blade's new form. The entirety of the blade was flowing lava, coursing in a formation similar to the Deity's original metal blade. It twisted along with the pattern while not letting a single drop fall. Flames flickered on the surface, not waving in any direction from the wind while any ash that fell near it were consumed and vaporized from the heat. Just one look at it made my anxiety spike, seeing that the malevolent god now had another weapon to combat mine.

As the Deity began to spin around to strike I thought 'I need to get away, fast!' But then, as the Deity swung its sword to slice through me once again, the Deity's movements slowed to a crawl. The Great Fairy didn't waste time to react and pulled us as far as she could from the lava blade. It was then I noticed that the ash around us had seemed to freeze in place as well. When the wings placed us back onto the ground, I tried to inspect the black flecks. It did appear that the ash stopped, but it was actually just moving very slowly, as if it was sinking down underwater. Not only that, but the howling wind from before had went dead. I looked back to the Deity, slightly nervous that this could have been one of its tricks, and just then the ash resumed to fall and the Deity's sword completed its swing. All three of us then took a moment to process what had just happened.

'Did time just stop for a second?' I thought. 'No, even though time slowed down, the ash was still moving. So does that mean Adri can slow down time?' I looked back to the Deity, whose confusion was beginning to wear off. It prepared its sword again and flew forward with its lava blade over its shoulder. Glancing back at the twin blades I thought 'there's only one way to find out!'

I willed time to stop again and the ash around us once again slowed to a crawl. It seemed like my idea was right, but The Great Fairy helped me stop thinking about the time and use this chance to fight. She used the wings to fly us closer to the possessed soldier who was suspended in the air, and once we got close enough I attacked with everything I had! I cut and slashed at the Deity's armor, trying to deal as much damage as I could. I kept attacking the Deity with all of my might and didn't stop until the flaming sword was too close for comfort. I wanted to try and use a Memory Orb, but to do that I would need a free hand and I was worried that time would go back to normal if I let go of one of the scimitars. So I tried to focus instead on making sure that the Deity would be unable to move!

As I readjusted our position, I could feel a part of my neck begin to sting. I reached back to felt at my neck with the back of my hand and found a burn mark. It hurt when I touched it, but The Great Fairy would be able to heal it in no time. I assumed that since it was the Deity's magic, the heat of the flame rose when it was combined with the sword, and tried to leave it at that. Resuming time to see if my attacks had any effect, we dodged out of the way of the Deity's attack and let the ash fall. The cursed armor flew forward and once again struck nothing but the polluted air. With a combination of anger and confusion it spun around to us, but had no signs of pain. Even all of the attacks we had done on the Deity's armor were simply scratches now.

"That's it! Adri's power is not to pause and resume time, but to make herself faster! But in order to do so, she must sacrifice her strength and defense!" The Great Fairy's chimed in with a triumphant tone. Realization struck as I thought back to the battle in the barren field. In one moment I saw that Adri caused an earthquake, then another moment I saw that she ran all the way across the field and grab Zant. It would also help explain how she and Zant caused all of their chaos in Death Mountain.

"So if her powers are within these scimitars, perhaps we could do the same for our abilities as well!' Giving a confident nod to her, I directed my attention to the Deity once again, who wasn't going to stand around for us anymore. It rocketed forward with its lava sword at the ready, so I used its attack to test and see if The Great Fairy's theory was true. I thought of the word "Defense" so I could withstand the Deity's rush, and crossed the scimitars. Only a moment after my thought came and went, the ash around us became similar to a blizzard! The Deity did the same as me when I had slowed time, slashing and striking me from every angle while dealing almost ten cuts every second! But while my clothes did get torn, the sword did not cut through us in the slightest. Instead of every single impact causing another burn or gash, it instead felt like hot water being splashed onto our skin; which was relieving, but the Deity was still going too fast for me to even try to counter.

I thought of the word "Speed" and once again, time slowed around us. I could feel my neck start to burn again but I only checked once I was far enough away from the possessed soldier. The neck burn had gotten worse, and had grown from the size of my fingernail to the size of my thumb. The Great Fairy was healing it, but since we were going so fast her magic was going too slow to catch up. Turning back, I saw the Deity looking at us despite time being slowed down. I was sure that we had gone out of its sight while running away.

'It looks like it's catching on.' I thought. 'I need to think of a way to get a Memory Orb around the Deity again. But since it knows what the scimitars' power is now and I'll have to let go of these to summon a Memory Orb, it won't let me get close. Plus, since my strength is way too weak when I slow down time like this, I can't defeat it by just attacking when I'm fast. The strength loss probably also has an effect on the magic too.' I gripped the handles of the scimitars tightly as a plan formed in my head. I had an idea of what I could do thanks to the Triforce of Wisdom, but I first had to test something.

The Deity was flying towards us at a snail's pace, so I once again used it to test out the scimitar's magic. I stood directly in the path of the possessed soldier as I traced a wide square in the air with the flame blade, then thrusted it towards the god. The fire was also affected by the speed, so the wall wouldn't do anything to the Deity until it was right in the center of it. I then used the ice scimitar to form and raise a wall of frost from the ground right behind the firewall, out of view from the Deity. A feeling in my gut said that they wouldn't do much, but I still wanted to test it to see if I was right. Then while running behind the Deity, I let go of the scimitars. The dark ash began to fall once again and the wall of flame burst forward, engulfing both me and the Deity in a bright red warmth. The force of the flames was like the strong wind that came from the rapier, but it only had the impact of it as well. None of my clothes were set on fire and no new injuries appeared on our body. The Deity was pushed back but kept pressing forward, taking the bait. It forced its way through the flames and began to slash at the ice wall when it saw a figure through the flames.

While it was distracted, I tried to summon the rapier, hoping that it wasn't gone now that the scimitars had appeared. It returned with the same bright flash it had left with, and so I prepared three light arrows by pulling the bowstring back as far as possible. At that time, the wall of fire had faded away, revealing to the Deity what it was attacking. Before it turned around, I fired the arrows, but the demonic armor saw through my tricks and leapt high to avoid them and adjusted its sword to strike the ground. I swapped back to the scimitars and, testing my magic even more, I thought "Strength and Speed," distributing almost all of my defense to my two other attributes. Time once again slowed for The Great Fairy and myself, but now every single fleck of ash on my skin felt like a bee sting, leaving red scars all over my body. Each sting slowly began to cause me to lower the blades and lose my form, along with me losing my focus. I thought that with Adri's stat shifting powers, I could counter the Deity and throw it off balance enough to use a Memory Orb. But as the stings hit faster, I realized that what I tried to do only made it worse.

When the fierce god was almost upon us, it was close to moving at its normal speed. I panicked and tried to parry in the form I was in, but it saw how unprepared I was. I sliced through the air to strike the Deity, but it maneuvered past me, slicing deep and clean through my backside, causing me to scream in agony. The cut not only had the pain of the Deity's dark aura, but felt as if my skin was melting, turning into a liquid and dripping down onto the dirt ground. I panicked again and screamed in my head "SPEED!" before the Deity used this chance to cut me entirely in half. Once again the ash slowed, along with the Deity's assault, allowing both to be more gentle on the skin. I collapsed to the ground to my side with tears from the pain in my eyes with rapid breaths of panic. The Great Fairy kept me on the ground to focus all of her energy on at least nulling the pain. The only way for you to know how truly painful this felt was if you experienced it for yourself, which is something nobody should have to go through with.

After what felt like hours on the ground, I managed to lift myself back up. I felt weak as the pain kept swarming throughout our body, but it had faded enough to allow me to move. I looked back at the Deity; it was staring at where I was laying in pain and was swinging towards my feet, heating up my toes as if they were dipped into boiling water. The Great Fairy's wings lifted me up high into the sky, up into the clouds. Looking back up at the blackened sky, another idea popped into my mind. I weakly raised the ice scimitar up to the darkness after remembering how it froze the lava so fast. I told The Great Fairy to fly me through the clouds, and she complied. As we circled throughout the clouds above Hyrule Field, I kept using the Ice Scimitar's magic, turning the water vapor in the clouds into ice crystals. I didn't keep track of the time, I just focused on my plan and the Deity, who was beginning to notice what I was doing. After working our way from the bottom to the top, we changed every single part of the cloud mass above Hyrule field into ice, and were now flying above them all. Pure moonlight was now shining down onto the land, illuminating what was underneath the clouds.

I let the scimitars go and summoned the rapier once again. As I prepared to create more wind, a column of fire sprouted from Hyrule and waved about wildly in order to destroy all of the ice. The Great Fairy had to work harder since she had to dodge everything while I was casting the spell. Despite the constant jerking movements, I raised the rapier and then flicked it downwards towards the source of the fire. The ice shards all changed direction and soared to the Deity, and we followed right behind them all. The moonlight reflected against all of the ice, making them all glitter with a special silver light as they raced to their target. When close to the ground, I let go of the rapier since it did its work and formed a Memory Orb inside of my cloak once again. The Great Fairy kept flying out of the way of the fire pillar with ease as I began preparing Farore's Wind to teleport. We then hit a large cloud of hot steam, which we had assumed was from the coldest ice being melted by the hottest flames. The heat became more and more intense as we flew down farther, but I just kept imagining myself being right behind the Deity and let the spell take effect.

The wind swept through me and I was behind the Deity once again, Memory Orb in hand. At the very center of the steam cloud all of the vapor together was thick enough to seem like fog, and the heat within it was so dense and hot that, if I wasn't merged with The Great Fairy, I would most likely suffocate. It was hard to even see a foot ahead of me with the steam in the air, but I could see the pillar of fire, along with light that was reflecting off of a mask. The Deity was firing the large pillar of fire from its sword up into the sky, having to hold it with both hands to handle the energy coming from it, still waving it back and forth to melt all of the ice crystals before one hit it. I held back a chuckle as I took out the Memory Orb.

'It didn't notice me appear! It probably thinks that I'm still above the clouds!' I took this chance and ran to the Deity, ready to take another Triforce Piece.

Then I let out a yelp, and our knees crumbled down. I questioned why I did this and where the sudden pain had came from, and then I looked at the legs. Through the thick fog I could see the outline of something sharp poking through my right leg; it was an ice crystal. One of them had managed to slip past the fire pillar, but it had punctured my leg before it hit the Deity. It wasn't too bad compared to the pain that I had went through earlier with the dark energy, but it still hurt and because it had went straight through the knee, the leg refused to move. I was so close to the Deity too! I fell down face-first as I looked up at the Deity. It was still firing the pillar of fire, but it was searching for the source of the yell; it didn't seem to find me quite yet. Not giving up, I crawled as fast as I could to the Deity. I pulled myself with our arms and pushed with our left leg, leaving the right dragging behind with a trail of dark blue. When we were just close enough to reach out and grab its leg, another ice crystal fell and stabbed our left hand. I once again screamed from the pain, but slammed my mouth into the ground to shut myself up, almost certain that the Deity heard me this time. I panicked as the hand remained trapped where it was, along with the ice crystal lodged in the ground; when the glow of the fire pillar went away, my sudden fear spiked. I thrusted the Memory Orb to the Deity's leg, trapping it inside once again. Inside was a leather boot; a similar material to the chestplate and gauntlet. With danger looming right above us, I pushed ourselves forward with our left leg and grabbed onto the boot.

As the bright light came once again, the Deity's free leg swung down and kicked us hard in the chest, creating a loud CRACK. The ice crystal in the left hand was left stuck in the ground I was sent tumbling and skidding across Hyrule Field. our body smacked and bumped against the ground harsh and frequently. Our right leg and left hand felt like it was being hit with the blunt side of a hammer each time they hit, only adding on to the pain of the broken ribs. After multiple tries, The Great Fairy used the wings to slow us down and lifted us into the air. My entire body throbbed from the pain, but it at least wasn't as bad as the Great Deity's dark magic.

'At least we didn't almost die this time.' I thought, feeling somewhat accomplished while trying to stay optimistic. 'It hurts to move, but at least we're not on the verge of death again. That's something.'

I looked back to the thick steam cloud, once again seeing another Triforce piece emerge from the corrupt soldier. It was the Triforce of Courage this time; All that was left was Midna's piece-the other half of the Triforce of Hope-and then it would all be over. We would save the soldier from the armor's curse, then bring everyone who died back to life. Back at the Deity I could still see a few ice crystals fall into the cloud, followed by a scream of frustration soon after. I was sure that they hit, but knew that it wouldn't be long before the possessed soldier would be back on its feet.

"All we must do is succeed in battle once more. We have already overcame the odds thrice, so let us do so once more!" I questioned if my optimism also influenced The Great Fairy since we merged, but I agreed with her as the Triforce of Courage was added into the mark on my hand, healing our body once more.

The weapon of the Triforce of Courage began to form just like the other two, and I began to wonder what it would be as it did. For the past two weapons they seemed somewhat logical: The Wind Waker combined with Zelda's baton made the rapier baton and Adri's magic combined with Zant's scimitars made the magic scimitars. But I couldn't even imagine what the product would be from The Master Sword and Lora's gun. But even despite trying to shake off the thoughts twice, the main topic returned to my mind once again.

'Were they really on our side? What if this was just a misunderstanding, and maybe they were brainwashed instead?' I let my hand course through my hair-which was clean thanks to the healing-as I thought. 'But then when would they have became controlled? Maybe before we met, since Impaz was sick when Adri was with her. Or maybe it was before we fought? They were acting normal before then? Or… Argh!' My hair became messy once again.

"I'm sure that all will be explained when the fight is over Aden." The Great Fairy reassured me. "If the three in question are also brought back, we can ask them exactly what their involvement with you and the Deity is."

I looked at the steam cloud again and I quickly became tense. The Deity was flying out of the steam and was soaring towards us, hoping to strike before the weapon formed. The blade was still being shaped inside of the bright green light, but I worried it wouldn't finish before the possessed soldier reached me. To stall time, I shot Pointed Shockwaves in a flurry in every possible angle. The Deity slashed at the shockwaves again with its flaming sword, but I noticed that no dark energy shockwaves were being fired in return. I paid it no mind though and kept shooting shockwaves. Thanks to the healing energy of the Triforce of Courage, I was fully energized and managed to send out more shockwaves than the Deity could handle! Despite it slashing at all of the white shockwaves with incredible speed, a single shot hit it, and once it did the rest just piled on.

The fierce god planted its feet into the ground to block the energy with its sword. While I continued firing, I turned to the sword as it almost finished forming; for the most part, it looked like Link's Master Sword. I tried to hold out for a little while longer and kept focusing on the Deity, but I narrowly dodged a purple shockwave by sidestepping. I looked back and found that the Deity had prepared its sword once again, but the flames around it had vanished. It had turned back into its original, slick metal form from when the battle started. I had no idea how it changed, but I kept holding on for the Master Sword to form.

Taking the sword with both hands, the Deity pointed it skyward. Once it was raised as high as possible, another bolt of lightning from a cloud a little ways away struck the blade, once again covering it with the dark lightning, reverting it back into its second form.

'It can switch weapons too?!'

The sword was lowered and a psychopathic grin formed, showing us a hint of its true nature. Next to us the bright green light dispersed, signaling that the weapon had finished forming. Acting on instinct, I spun around, grabbed the handle, then activated Nayru's Love as the bolt just reached us. While kneeling down, I shifted our body to turn while keeping the formation for the shield up.

Through the blue crystal I could see the Deity sprinting towards us while still firing the lightning. I hastily examined the Master Sword to try and find what was different before time ran out. The handle's colors were a swirl of bright green and light purple, twisting around each other much like the Deity's sword. The rain-guard had the sides more rounded to look more like a bird's wings and had its colors reversed along with everything else. Everything on the handle that was purple was now green and vise versa. The yellow gem that stuck out was now purple as well now, blending in with the new color scheme. There was only one part of the handle that was different from the original Master Sword: a trigger around the top of the grip. The blade itself only had two minor differences. The symbol on the bottom of the blade was replaced with the symbol for the Triforce of Courage, and on the top of the blade there was a tiny hole. With danger fast approaching and the crystal slowly cracking, I pointed the Master Sword forward and gave the trigger on the handle a quick tap to see what it would do. Then out from the hole on the top, green ink shot out and splashed against the crystal. It was the same as Lora's.

As Nayru's love was about to shatter, I pointed the Master Sword at the Deity and pressed down on the trigger. A rapid fire stream of the toxic ink shot from the blade, but the possessed soldier expected the unexpected and dodged out of the way; the ink only hit the ground a couple feet away from us. I switched quickly to the scimitars, not risking getting stunned by the lightning, and gave away my strength for defense. I raised the twin blades up and blocked the electric sword, letting our body absorb the electricity, then intentionally fell backwards onto the ground. I pointed the two scimitars upwards and fired the orange lightning into the sky. The Deity leapt backwards to avoid getting hit, but at the moment I was surprised that I was able to do what I just did.

'The Triforce of Courage must be affecting me now too.' I thought. Since Power and Wisdom had helped me properly wield the past weapons and become stronger when using them, it would make sense that Courage would help me with my bravery, allowing me to do more risky moves without being scared.

I helped myself up, but fell down again once a wall of fire just barely scraped the top of my head. The Great Fairy used the wings to lift us up out of danger as the bloodthirsty god charged, now wielding the flaming sword once again. As an idea came to me I switched back to the Master Sword to prepare for another attack. The Deity flew up close and slashed with the flaming blade but I countered each blow with the sword, which was almost startlingly easy with the Triforce helping me now. But even after just a few counters, the heat from the Deity's sword was beginning to make me sweat. I blocked the possessed soldier's attacks as fast as I could in the air while it slowly grew more furious with each blocked strike. We eventually locked blades, trying to overpower the other while burns surfaced all over my body from the flaming blade; but that was when I got my chance. With the influence of the Triforce of Courage, I pushed closer to the Deity and pointed the tip right at the center of its face, then pulled the trigger.

Lora's green ink splattered across the Deity's armor and it released me from the blade lock from surprise. I could hear loud grunts of pain come from it, similar-but more intense-to when it was covered in Zant's dark energy, along with strangle sizzling. Ready to test my theory I pointed the tip of the Master Sword to the flaming blade and shot the ink. My hope was that the flaming blade would be extinguished and that it would return to its normal state, that way I wouldn't have to worry about it for the rest of the fight. But when the ink splattered onto the blade, the flames intensity surged and became much hotter and larger than it was before! I felt as if I was standing in the center of the flames from how close we were!

The Great Fairy pulled us away as the Deity's grin grew wide. I dropped The Master Sword in a panic, not wanting to add any more fuel to the fire. It disappeared like it always did, but I did not summon any other weapons. Just from the few seconds I was close to the flaming sword I could quite literally feel my blood boil. The Deity shot pillars and walls of fire as the Great Fairy flew higher and higher to try and escape. My hands grasped at my hair as more panic rushed through my head.

'The ink was flammable?! I thought that it would put out the fire! That's how it usually works; water puts out fire! But that only made things worse!' I screamed at myself.

"Aden, try to-try not to worry!" The Great Fairy tried to reassure me and calm me down, all the while flying us out of the way of the fire blasts from the Deity and healing the wounds at the same time. It didn't seem like the Triforce of Courage had affected her. "We now know that the ink is flammable, so we can use that!' As much as I wanted to calm down, hearing her sound so panicked while telling me that was not exactly reassuring.

I summoned the rapier after one of many fire blasts raced by and flicked it hard at our feet, sending fierce winds to try to provide time to think. When no more pillars shot up after three seconds The Great Fairy let us float as my cloak flapped from the intensity. While making sure to keep the blade pointed at whatever was underneath my shoes, I looked down to make sure that there wasn't any more danger approaching. A pillar of fire was motionless under us, trying to force its way through the winds and incinerate its target, but the cursed armor was nowhere to be found. I brought my free hand close while conjuring more of my energy right before the Great Fairy shouted.

"Above you!"

I didn't hesitate and used Farore's Wind to teleport us out of the way while calling off the wind, letting the pillar rocket upwards through the giant hole in the blanket of clouds. When I saw a blur through the light of the fire I raised the rapier up and summoned the Bow of Light. The stars illuminated the night sky but weren't bright enough to show where the Deity was. I pulled the string back hard enough to summon three arrows and waited while pointing them up to the sky. My vision darted to a new spot in the sky every half second, trying to find the target so I could let go of the string.

When the light of the moon became obstructed, I quickly aimed and released the light. All three of the arrows were off the mark since I tried to move so fast, but they illuminated the Deity and its weapon as the flew. It had a crazed look on its face as it dived through the atmosphere with the sword behind its hip. The flaming sword was gone and was replaced now with the original form. As I pulled the string back again, the Great Fairy deactivated the wings and let us fall down back to Hyrule. I was able to keep our body steady and prevent myself from spinning out of control, and thanks to the Triforce of Courage I was able to keep my sights on what was above me instead of what I was falling to below.

The Deity sent out a dark shockwave, but using pinpoint accuracy with the Triforce of Power, an arrow of light struck it and disappeared with a flash similar to my weapons. More and more dark energy was shot but with each one I quickly pulled back the string and shot an arrow. The wind howled into our ears, growing increasingly louder for each second we kept falling until it was the only thing I could hear. Despite having the Triforce of Courage though, the stress of eventually hitting the ground still lingered while we fought. Yes the Great Fairy could easily use the wings and fly us out of the way, but the possessed soldier would block our path and skewer us along with Hyrule.

The Deity realized that its current plan wasn't working and summoned the electricity form of its blade, and I summoned the scimitars along with that. Lightning rained down from above all around us in a cramped area, without any space to reach out from side to side. But none of the bolts hit the mark; all of the lightning was just created to make a circle around us that limited our movement. We couldn't hit anything but the ground. The lightshow around us was interesting, but it was hard to focus on what to do with everything around. I aimed the scimitars up and began to summon Zant's pain magic.

'These are just to throw me off.'

My thought was proven right once a bolt of electricity struck my foot, sending the scraping pain through the lower half of my body. My focus was cut off along with the magic as everything below my waist was swarmed with pain. The handles almost slipped out of my grip, but I caught them before they disappeared.

'I don't need my legs anyways since I'm falling.' I thought. Since the Great Fairy couldn't do anything but watch, she put all of her focus on healing my legs. As another bolt of lightning flew past and was inches away from hitting my chest, I put myself on the defensive and lifted the scimitars up. The Deity spun around and wound up, then shot more of the dark lightning my way, aiming directly at my head. I blocked the lightning, stored it then did as the Deity did and sent the electricity right back. I shot the lightning out through one blade and released Zant's pain orbs through the other to try and overwhelm it.

The pain magic hit the chestplate of the possessed soldier, but I could barely see it flinch, so I kept firing. When the lightning was sent back, the twisting blade was lifted and absorbed within it as well, and the Deity rallied it back. It shot the lightning, I absorbed and redirected it, then the Deity did the same and so on. Through all of this I kept firing more of Zant's dark magic, hoping that eventually I would get the upper hand. But as the ground approached closer, I knew that I wouldn't be getting anywhere going back and forth with it. I stopped firing the pain magic and after I rallied the lightning back to the Deity, I reached the twin blades out to the electric barrier.

The lightning bolts continuously struck the scimitars, storing more electricity into them and quickly building the twin blades up to their limit. With each strike our arms burst with another layer of pain and I could feel my heart beat faster than it normally would be able to. After ten strikes hit each blade and my heart felt like it was about to explode, the Deity rallied back the first lightning shot. I raised the twin blades back upwards and absorbed one more bolt, hanging our body on the edge of death, only a second closer to a meltdown. The scimitars were surrounded by flowing static and were glowing brighter than the sky above the cursed armor, making a light with the intensity to rival of the Mirror of Twilight. Spinning around one more time, I shot out all of the lightning I had stored right at the Deity!

The lightning bolt itself was ginormous and brimming with raw power! It was larger than our, or even the Deity's entire body! The pure force of firing it caused us to propel towards the ground even faster, purging all of the other sounds from our ears. After seeing the look on the possessed soldier's face, I knew that it wouldn't have the ability to absorb everything and rally it back. With all of the lightning surrounding us both, there was no room to fly out of the way either. The malevolent god flew higher to try to avoid it, but even with all of the power it had, the Deity couldn't outrun light. The orange electricity consumed the Deity and gave off a spectacular light show, growing bright enough to rival even the sun! The moment it hit, the dark lightning surrounding us vanished and gave the Great Fairy enough space to activate the wings and fly us away. She had just finished disposing of the pain in the legs, so she activated the wings and flew us to the side, then up and out of the way of the impact site.

With a thundering BOOM, the Deity smashed into the ground and made a cloud of dirt, ash and other rubble. The wings placed us back on solid ground at a reasonable distance away from the god, and we could see a soft orange glow coming from the Deity, most likely from our lightning. As I created one more Memory Orb, a collective murmur from behind us snatched my attention away from the Deity. Almost every single survivor that was able to move were near a passageway between two cliffs; the Hidden Village passageway. I had assumed that they were watching the entire fight because of how they were cheering us on from the beginning, but now they stood slack-jawed, some looking at the Great Fairy and I while others looked at the cloud of destruction.

Then they all cheered. They clapped, whistled, screamed for the Great Fairy and I successfully triumphing over the Deity. Some even began to jog in our direction, but I put up my hands in a panic, not wanting them to come any closer. I was tempted to smile and run back to make sure that they were okay, but I knew that the battle wasn't over yet.

I adjusted our position so that we were between the survivors and the crater, that way we could protect them in case any surprise attack occurred. As the dust began to settle around the crater, we could all see the cursed armor struggling to stand back up. It knelt on one knee and was trying to support itself using the twisting blade. Knowing that I wouldn't be able to get close enough even still, I threw the remaining Memory Orb into the air, directed just right with the help of the Triforce of Power and Wisdom. I then summoned the Master Sword again, ready to give the Deity what it deserved.

"Everyone, get back!" I yelled. The survivors complied, backing into the passageway from where they all watched. The possessed soldier in the center was up and seemingly prepared for anything we might try, but I had a plan. It looked too weak to fly after the intense lightning hit it, so with the power of the wings, we flew around the large crater shooting the toxic ink into it in an attempt to fill it in its entirety. The green liquid covered the crater, but the Deity summoned the flaming sword and shoved it forwards, letting the ink add to the intensity of the flames. But I wasn't aiming to hit the Deity.

When the entirety of the crater was covered in the ink, the twisting blade's flames had grown tenfold, soaring into the sky like the fire pillars it was summoning earlier. The possessed soldier cackled, thinking that I had made a grave mistake from doing what I did, until it was in absolute hysterics. It wound up the sword overhead, ready to do a vertical strike and kill not only The Great Fairy and I, but the remaining survivors as well. I could hear the people behind us begin to panic. But then the Memory Orb I had thrown descended and trapped its head in place. The Deity didn't notice that it was in trouble until everything from the neck-up was its old form.

The head of the old soldier was one of a boy the same age as me. The hair on his head was a light brown, matching the boy's eyes. Across its face were several scars; some old, others relatively new. He had a couple freckles around the center of his face, and what stuck out the most was that his right ear was missing. The expression on it was unchanged, however, and still had the same malice of the cursed armor. As it realized what was going on and began to swing the flaming sword, I teleported right next to it and touched the boy's face through the Memory Orb. The light shined once again and as we teleported away, the Deity dropped the sword. The roaring flames and lava ignited all of the toxic ink surrounding it, creating a giant column of flame within the crater, blasting all of us with such intense heat that the survivors might suffocate if they got too close.

I couldn't see or hear the Deity from outside of the flames since all of the crackling completely drowned out the noise, But I did see one thing slowly approach through it all; The final piece of the Triforce. The second half to the Triforce of Hope: Midna's half. Just the sight of it made all of the fighting worth it. The pain and suffering that everyone endured was all made up by this one final moment. Not only that, but I felt as if I had redeemed myself in a way, finally getting Midna's piece of the Triforce back. It felt as if I had proven myself to her, even though she probably wasn't watching. But then I realized, it wasn't just that; I convinced myself that I was finally good enough.

"There it is!" The Great Fairy yelled upon seeing the half piece. "Quickly now, the rest of the Triforce!"

Going with her request I quickly willed the rest of the Triforce to appear. Three drops of light appeared surrounding my center piece, and in a flash transformed into their respective weapons. Along with my Triforce half, the other three sets of weapons rose high above us and began to form the Triforce itself. Each of them resonated with their respective color while my piece glowed a golden yellow to match the sacred relic. My piece placed itself on the right half of the center hole, upside down, leaving only Midna's piece to fill the void. It, unfortunately, was going almost dramatically slow.

'Come on come on come on! Stop trying to look cool and merge together already!' I thought while tapping my knee impatiently. I glanced back to the survivors who were staring at the scene unfolding. They all either cheered us on for giving the cursed armor what it deserved or looked at everything dumbfounded, most likely thinking that most of this was some sort of fever dream due to the ash. Upon seeing me stare back at them, a couple of people that I knew ran to us to see the Triforce in its full, restored form, not caring about the roaring pillar of flames. I could see that they tried to talk to me and ask questions, but I still couldn't hear anything due to the raging fire behind us.

I turned back to the Triforce as Midna's half placed itself beside mine, completing the magical artifact in its entirety. When it was perfectly aligned, a quick bright flash came and went, replacing the three weapons with the three other full pieces of the Triforce. The golden triangles descended so we could make our wish, but once again it was doing it almost intentionally for dramatic effect. So, deciding not to waste time and risk our lives for the spur of the moment, I sprinted to the Triforce as fast as I could. With some help from The Great Fairy, I leapt up high into the air and floated in front of it as it still descended to the ground. I reached out to touch it, holding the wish of restoring Hyrule in my head and ready to finally end this chaos!

"ENOUGH!"

Somehow through the roaring fire, a booming, spine-tingling roar erupted from within. I froze in our tracks just from the intensity of the scream and looked back to the column of fire, which was still scorching everything in its path. Through it I could see the figure of the Deity once again, fully energized and filled with an intense blood lust. Even despite us obtaining the entirety of the Triforce, It still wasn't going to give up until the very end. But I had already decided to end all of the chaos, so I reached out to the Triforce so our wish could be granted

Then the next thing I knew, we were lying face first in a freshly made crater.

For a moment I didn't even realize where we were, but once I did I tried to lift ourselves up. But my efforts were only met with a hard book stomping the back of our head even deeper into the rock! I felt several snaps and cracks, but didn't even get a chance to lift myself up again. The Deity repeatedly stomped its boot onto the back of my head with force and speed that could only belong to a fully born maniac. The back of our skull received several fractures along with the rest of the bones in our face, and I began to succumb to the pain. Somehow, this was even stronger than the dark aura that seeped into my body, and to put it simple, it was crippling pain.

As our head became almost fully consumed by the rock, I used Farore's Wind to teleport us out and quickly summoned Nayru's Love to prevent that from happening again. A torrent of blue ran down my face and it was painful to even move my eyes, but I still had the motivation to fight. However only a second after I summoned the crystal, The Fierce Deity appeared and shattered the crystal in one strike! It was right then that The Great Fairy and I were able to see the bloodthirsty spirit show its true colors.

The calm composure from before was gone without a trace, and replacing its mask was an expression of pure malice. The new head was red and covered in scabs which gave the expression of a skull, and the eyes were all black save for white pupils in the center. The rest of the armor had changed as well. The silver and gold shine on its previous armor was replaced respectively with blood red and a purple colored similar to its dark aura. The most drastic change was the sword. The twisting blade before was simply two lightly colored strings of metal that twisted into the blade, but was now a complete contrast! One half of the blade was a dark colored metal with a red strip flowing the center while jagged metal surrounded the sides. The other half was layers of sharp spikes attached to a long chain, like one you would see on a whip. The grip was black and red and the hilt was decorated with a blue, glowing glass eye. One could be engulfed in fear just from the sight of it! Everything about the Fierce Deity before had morphed into a new, demonic looking exterior!

I activated Farore's Wind again and tried to blast shots of Din's fire at the Deity, but it always knew where we were going to end up every time I tried to escape. The few moments where I had enough time to fire Din's Fire or Pointed Shockwaves, the malevolent god struck them with its sword and they were all swiftly destroyed. I was able to create new crystals from Nayru's love quick, but they were quickly shattered each time. No matter what we tried to do, the Deity always stopped us in an attempt to finish the job with a gruesome slaughter us. Its true colors have finally been revealed.

After teleporting for the 12th time or so, the possessed soldier was one step ahead and made a large gash on our from the right shoulder to our left leg. I screamed from the pain and my knees failed me, however I summoned Nayru's Love before the demonic sword could make another fatal wound. The Deity cracked it in one strike once again, but I summoned another crystal before we were left vulnerable. It swung its sword with all of its might and with blazing speed at the same time, and over and over it shattered the defences I was making in one hit.

"I AM THROUGH WITH THESE GAMES!" The booming voice made me falter, and another gash was made on my left arm. I kept summoning crystals while the fragments remaining was creating a dazzling blue light show as they vanished. "THIS WORLD IS A DISGRACEFUL NEST OF DISGUSTING BEINGS THAT MUST BE ERADICATED! YOU AND THE REST OF YOUR INSECT FRIENDS ARE NOTHING BUT ANTS CLINGING TO YOUR WORTHLESS, SHORT-SPANNED LIVES! A PATHETIC, POWERLESS ANT CANNOT DEFEAT A GOD!" The Deity did not slow down its attacks at all while it made its speech, and summoning all of the crystals was slowly but surely draining every ounce of our energy. I had no chance to move or focus on another place far away from the malevolent god; we were stuck until we ran out of energy or let the Deity massacre us.

"THIS NO GOOD WORLD SHALL BURN BY MY FLAMES AND TURN TO DUST BY MY BLADE! YOU SHALL DIE A MILLENNIA LONG, AGONIZING DEATH ALONG WITH EACH OF THESE INSECTS"-

WHAM!

Out from nowhere, a grey blur hit the Deity in the gut and sent it flying away across Hyrule Field and into a ravine. For a few extra moments I kept summoning crystals on instinct since I was afraid that it would come back quickly while my guard was down. When it did not, I then became confused beyond belief. I stopped my shielding and let the remaining crystals vanish in their blue light, and then promptly collapsed to the ground. When I was fighting with The Great Fairy, I did not feel exhausted after using so much of my magic, but summoning so many shields had drained my energy twice as fast as The Great Fairy could replenish it. Combined with the fatal gashes across the torso body, I had no more energy to keep fighting. I no longer had the influence of the Triforce on our side either. In my mind both myself and the fairy were screaming to get up, but our body refused. My brain was losing its grip on consciousness as black spots filled my vision.

Soon after, I could feel ourselves being scooped up in something big and cold while people were talking. I couldn't hear anything they were saying with our current condition, but they sounded frantic and very panicked. I fought as hard as I could to stay awake and get back up, but my vision continued to darken. One of the survivors near us screamed and then whatever picked me up began to bounce me slightly while a cold wind chilled the both of us. Afterwards something smaller than before grabbed our right wrist and placed it on our chest, screaming right at my face. Through the haze and dark spots, I could see blonde pigtails.

'...Agitha?'

It pressed against my chest and slapped my hand as if it tried to get it to do something. My mind worked slowly with all of the blood loss, but I began to piece together what she was trying to do. Agitha had seen me use my magic before. With what little energy I had left, I summoned all of my energy to create one more Memory Orb, slowly letting it grow and surround our body. I was beginning to drift away, but I fought with all of my might to keep growing it to full size. My mind was pounding against our skull as if it was trying to force me to stop. Then when I felt a chill surround my torso, Agitha pushed our hand against our hand and helped me activate the magic.

The bright flash from the Memory Orb cleansed the black spots from my vision and restored my hearing in a flash! The gashes across my body sealed back up and the metallic blue in the mouth evaporated. Feeling in the body was regained when I felt an overwhelming force of cold air. I had control over my body once again; I still was weak from the lack of energy, but I was just relieved that we didn't die! However I quickly forgot that fact when I tried to sit up and was met with an overwhelming force of drowsiness and pain. I tried to support us to sit up despite the bumpiness of the ride and then I hit it back down on the hard, cold surface.

"Oh! Aden, please be careful!" Agitha placed a gloved hand on our back and helped lift us up. Looking at her through blurry vision, I saw that some of her strange makeup was running. She seemed even more roughed up than usual.

"Y-you?" I wanted to ask how she came to save me, but only one word came out.

"Oh thank th' goddesses, yer back kid!" A friendly voice spoke up from behind the three of us. Without the energy to turn around, I let my head fall back to look. Rusl was standing up with the canon pointed over a grey wall, similar to what we were sitting on. He fired continuously at something, without having to stop and reload it with any sort of ammo. A look of fear appeared on his face and then he ducked back down with us while a dark shockwave zoomed overhead.

"R...Rus…?"

"Don' worry kid, you can leave that thing t' us!" He spoke in a confident tone and gave a thumbs up to the three of us. With those words he shot back up and continued to fire at the Fierce Deity, which was most likely over the wall. I tried to lift my head back up to see Agitha, but almost fell back down in shock when I saw a face on the grey wall! It seemed emotionless and distant, but it took me a moment to also notice a red antenna bobbing back and forth on the top. I knew that the wall wasn't some sort of ordinary object.

'Mr. Clayface?' I would have asked why Mr. Clayface was also there, but I was still too weak.

I realized then what exactly we were on. All four of us of us were on Clayface's hands, and it was carrying us away from the danger at high speed that would rival The Great Fairy's flight. Piecing together what exactly had happened helped us figure out the order of events and discover what had happened when I was stuck in the Deity's grasp. Agitha and Rusl saw that I needed help and so they had Mr. Clayface carry them to us. Rusl then must have fired something from his canon while the possessed soldier was focused on me and knocked it away. While I was lying down on the brink of death, they picked me up and carried me away, helping me save ourselves. Now, the malevolent god must have recovered and was coming back to kill us all.

I knew that Rusl couldn't hold off the Deity for long with just his canon, it would only be a matter of time before it caught up with us. I thought that The Great Fairy and I had to keep fighting in order to save everyone, and only we could do it. So I tried to pull ourselves up again, using Mr. Clayface's head to pull our body into a standing position, but my hand slipped and I fell on our side. My brain was throbbing again and I let out what sounded like a groan.

"Aden, what are you doing?!" The bug princess said. I didn't answer, instead focusing on pushing us up. It felt as if our body was made of lead as I used our arm for support, and then we fell back down. Next to us, Agitha was trying to scold and comfort us at the same time, telling me to stay lying down. Another wave of dark energy flew overhead and Rusl ducked back down, only adding more to the current mass confusion.

"I… haff… to figh…" I whispered through our breaths, not being able to say much else. Both Rusl and Agitha weren't wearing anything over their mouths, and if they kept trying to protect us like this then they would breathe in ash get sick, then they would be no match for the Deity. They would die because I was too weak and that was the absolute last thing I wanted! I didn't want to make the same mistake twice, I didn't want anybody else to die!

"Oh no ya ain't!" Rusl scolded me. "Yer gonna stay right there n' rest up while"-

"I HAVE SAID THERE SHALL BE NO MORE GAMES!"

The Fierce Deity's voice boomed behind us, and then an explosion chucked Mr. Clayface into the air, sending the rest of us along with him. If it were not for the burning rubble scattered around us I would have assumed that the Deity's voice alone was the cause of the explosion. We scattered across the field far apart from each other and The Great Fairy and I was left on the ground defenseless once again. Our body hurt from the impact, but I lifted our head to try and find the threat and protect everyone. I could see the demonic armor speeding through the air, with malice so intense that it could almost be seen. I tried to focus energy into our hands to do something, but I was still too weak.

'No, they can't die! Not again! I need to get up! Get up! Get up get up GET UP GET UP GET UP!' Golden light filled my vision as my eyes began to sting. Mr. Clayface, Agitha and Rusl all groaned from pain. My arms were still being magnetized to the ground; there was nothing I could do; nothing any of us could do.

"YOU HAVE ONLY DELAYED THE INEVITABLE! YOU SHALL STILL"-

Once again something came from out of nowhere and slammed into the Deity, knocking it off course. It couldn't focus on the remaining survivors while so intensely focused on us, so they used that chance to rush in and help. The possessed soldier rolled across the ground but then stabbed its blade into the rock and jolted to a halt. I directed my attention back to what had saved me, but out of everything that I was expecting to see, I was not expecting Ashei with Zant's scimitars.

"Don't worry kid, we've got your back!" She said with a determined force driving her statement. Before I had a chance to be confused to why she had the scimitars, a loud thumping shook the ground and bounced our body. Appearing next to Ashei and looming over us was the large and proud Yeto! My heart skipped a beat when I saw him, purely from the surprise that he was still alive, but even more confusion came when I saw that he was wearing large, metal gauntlets. On his shoulder was his loving wife, Yeta, but her entire body seemed to be covered in ice; she looked more like a Yeta ice sculpture than Yeta herself. I thought that Yeto was dead back at Snowpeak, so seeing that he was okay in the end gave me great relief, and was then replaced by the fact that they were going to try and fight the Deity as well.

"Small one! Yeto and friends will fight with you!" His voice boomed almost as loud as the Deity from how confident he was. He pounded the gauntlets together as a signal he was ready and Yeta let out the most intimidating roar that she could do. Around us, Agitha, Rusl and Mr. Clayface prepared alongside them all, ready for a real battle. I shook my head with what energy I had, which was barely visible at all, scared that so many were sacrificing themselves to save me. It was just like back in the dead field and it horrified me. 'Why are so many people doing this?! Please! No!'

"Aden, hold a moment!" The Great Fairy halted me, sounding very exhausted herself, but a tint of confusion was also in her voice. I assumed that it was also from the fact that these people had such powerful weapons.

'No! I can't have everyone die because of me again! I can't let them die, they can't die! They can't!' My vision became brighter and our cheeks became more slick.

"No Aden! Look at the Deity!' She tried to be reassuring despite sounding so panicked. Becoming even more confused I did as she said. The malevolent god had its sword prepared but for some reason had still not moved from its spot. I turn. Looking somewhat closer, I found that it was loosely holding its sword in one hand and the blade was slipping out of its grip. Then I saw its face; it seemed visibly shaken. It was caught off guard and almost seemed scared, but I didn't know why. This was almost the exact same situation as back in the barren field, so why was it scared now?

"EVERYONE!"

A loud, leader-sounding voice echoed across Hyrule Field, drawing everything's attention. It sounded like a familiar woman, but I couldn't see her from where I was. I could hear murmuring and clanks of metal outside from my vision. The Fierce Deity hastily readied its blade for battle and prepared to rush in again, but the woman yelled once more before it attacked.

"CHAAAARGE!"

A roar of triumphant cries erupted from outside of my vision and several things went flying through the air towards the possessed soldier. I could see light and dark beams of energy, fireballs, lightning and several other things that were followed by the ground rumbling and cries becoming louder. The Deity dodged out of the way and deflected most of the projectiles, but more kept coming along with the proceeding army. It sounded as if a full scale war was now taking place!

Then all around us, the remaining survivors rushed towards the malevolent god while screaming war cries. I began to panic once again, thinking that the worst case scenario of everyone dying because of me was becoming true, but then I noticed something. Every single survivor had a divine weapon with them. Some carried swords, some wielded bows, others readied magic and much more than I could describe. All of the survivors had obtained a divine weapon and was fighting against the Deity together! They all swarmed the Deity and attacked with all of their might and almost baffling skill! It was as if they had been practicing for all of their lives! The possessed soldier countered and parried many of the survivors, but there was always another right behind it ready to continue the assault and keep it on edge.

"Here kid, drink this." the commander from before walked up to me and helped sit me up, letting something clatter to the side. As I suspected, it was Telma leading the attack and supporting us now. She sounded calm as she put a bottle of some sort of liquid to my lips. It was dark purple and almost glistened in the dim light. I drank it as she said, and once the liquid even touched my lips a refreshing feeling swept throughout my body. As it slid down my throat my head cleared up and my limbs felt lighter. Once the entire bottle was downed, I felt the same way I did at the beginning of the battle.

"Was that…" The Great Fairy said, "...a bottle of my tears?"

"All better now?" She asked. I nodded and leaned forward with little effort, letting her know that I didn't need her help to sit up now. I was about to thank her, but a reflection of light caught my attention, and I glanced at the source. Zelda's rapier was on the ground at Telma's side; it seemed like that was her divine weapon. The sound of an explosion caught my attention to the massive battle that was happening a little ways away from us, and the questions popped back into my head to why exactly everyone got their divine weapons.

"Now if you're wondering-and I am sorry!-I took this from your basket of things when you were unconscious back in Castle Town. I wasn't able to get everything else though and I felt bad, but I suppose that it was worth grabbing this in the end." Telma's mouth formed into a playful smirk.

"U-um, thank you, but what is happening?!" With the energy to talk now I put a little too much emphasis into my words. "Where did everyone get those weapons?! Why did you all try to come and save me?! How did Ashei get thrown right at the Deity like that?!" Telma put her hands up and calmed me down, which seemed impossible with the battle happening so close to us.

"We used the Triforce hun!" Telma crossed her arms. "We all had a feeling that whatever that thing is wouldn't go away, even if we wished Hyrule to go back to normal. If it was just sealed away or was sent somewhere else then somebody would have to deal with it, right? So we all used the Triforce together and gave ourselves weapons to help you fight! We thought it would be best to help you give that thing what for!"

"What?!" I yelled, catching Telma slightly off guard. "But you all might get hurt! You, you might die! I don't want any of you to die!" Back at the battle, another explosion rang out, but the survivors' battle cries still echoed on.

"Well do you really think that we would just sit down and watch you get slaughtered?!" She retaliated quickly and switched the roles. "Of course we would come to help! You and your friends risked your lives time and time again for us, so we believed that it was about time to return the favor! We already knew that we could have wished you back to life with the Triforce, but we saw how much pain you were in. There was no way that any of us were going to sit back and watch you die after everything you and your friends have done for us!"

"But"-

"Hun, listen." She didn't give me a single chance to talk. "I know you wanted to protect us, but that doesn't mean you have to fight alone. You did a good job out there, we both know that, but if we had left you by yourself out there with that thing then you for sure would have been done for! You pushed yourself beyond what you were capable of and got hurt because of it. I know this might seem selfish, but you must think if you are truly helping the people you protect by going alone."

"But I! I…" I faltered from the shock of realizing my own actions. She was right. If I had tried to do everything myself then I would have died by the Deity's blade. I'm alive now because they decided to help us. By trying to protect them all by ourselves and letting them do nothing, were we really just putting them all in more danger? I ruffled my hair with my hand, lifting it up from the front of my face.

'I still wasn't able to do the right thing?' I questioned myself. 'I thought I was protecting them all, but was I really just making things worse?'

"THIS NONSENSE SHALL END NOW!" The Deity's voice boomed once again, helping me get a grip on reality once again. The survivors were fighting with all of their might, fending off the malevolent god, but many were falling down and becoming injured quickly. Not only that, but it seemed that the possessed soldier had regained its composure and was ready to kill. It fought everybody around them fluently, but it still had its sights set on us and was trying to make its way through the battlefield to slaughter its prey. But each time that happened, the Deity was pulled right back into the battle by a survivor with a divine weapon. Telma reached to the side and picked up the rapier, along me, and summoned the bow of light.

"I'll support you from here kid! Now go on, finish this!" With the way that Telma had commanded it I felt almost obligated to do as she said. I stood back up and got into a fighting stance and readied our magic, still surprised that I was able to move this smoothly once again. I nodded to the barkeep and began to sprint full speeds into the battleground, but then I stopped and thought for a moment before turning back to look at her.

"Hey Telma?" She lowered the bow.

"Yes hun?" She responded.

"Thank you." She smiled and nodded at me, then raised her bow to the Deity. Ready to follow up, I got my magic ready and let The Great Fairy do her work with the wings. They lifted us up just a little higher than everyone's heads, who were still giving it their all to fight back against the Deity. Blades clashed against each other, shockwaves of energy were deflected and so on, but from the first glance, I felt confident; confident that we had a chance to win. So now, filled with confidence and determination, the wings flew us forward and straight into the center of the chaos.

The bloodthirsty armor noticed our approach and tried to turn its focus to me, but too many of the survivors were giving a barrage of painful magic attacks to the Deity. It tried to parry or attack them, but everyone quickly falls back and dodges with graceful skill, letting the ranged fighters blast and fire their projectiles. To try and fend us off, the Fierce Deity fired a dark energy shockwave, forcing us back onto the ground. Through all of these distractions, the fairy and I were able to find an opening on the battlefield. The ranged fighters parted away from us to help clear a path to the Deity for the Memory Orb, and so I happily obliged. Creating a Memory Orb in my right hand, I ran hard after the Deity while slowly letting it grow.

"LIKE I HAVE SPOKEN OF IN THE PAST, I TIRE OF THESE GAMES! YOU SHALL ALL"-

"Shut up already!" Auru said, firing a canon of his own at the malevolent god, causing it to stumble back from the explosion and get knocked into other survivors which landed a successful blow on it with whips and hammers. I could see that the attack had visually hurt the Deity, causing it to stumble but not fly away. More ground fighters assaulted the cursed armor, proving to be quite a useful distraction. The ground fighters fought with all of their might, trying to keep the attention away from us so we had a clear chance. So after a thumbs up with Auru, we continued sprinting ahead. It tried to break free of the people's non-stop assault, but the attacks kept coming. I fired a Din's Flame to the Deity as the battleground shook, but it saw that it was coming from my direction and tried to stop it, only to be met with a spear to the chest from Ilia and get knocked down to the ground. I kept running.

The twisting blade was lifted up high for a strong slash while it caught aflame, but then a large beetle came from up above and snatched away the sword and launched it down into the depths of the ravine. From somewhere, I could hear Agitha cheer on the beetle as it did a successful job. It seemed that it was slowly but surely becoming more and more stressed, but I kept running. Having to resort to just physical combat, the Deity put up its fists and prepared for anything. It was then punched in the back of the head by Mr. Clayface after an Arrow of Light had distracted it. The clay ally punched the Deity very strongly, but it got back up before long. Even then, it had successfully given me more time. I was fast approaching the Deity; only a few more seconds left.

"YOU ALL ONLY DELAY THE INEVITABLE! I WILL"-

"How many times are you gonna say that?" Shad fired orbs of light magic from a special tome right on target, making it stall in one place long enough to let Yeta and others to cripple it even more and freeze its legs, leaving it vulnerable. With both combined, the Deity was then crippled was forced onto one knee. Shad saluted us and Yeta cheered us on as we sprinted by them and next to the possessed soldier. Only a few more seconds.

"I-I SAID STOP! INSECTS MUST BEHAVE ME! INSECTS MUST DIE!"

"No! You will be the one that should be behaving!" Yeto yelled while slamming his gauntlet covered hand down onto the cursed armor, rendering it helpless and completely limiting its movement. The normal and ranged fighters then froze in silence, letting us pass. By then, the Memory Orb had grown to full size, ready to surround and defeat the Deity in its entirety. As I got close to Yeto he gave us a confident nod and lifted up the gauntlet as we were right next to the crippled Deity.

"NO! THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE! ALL OF THIS IS"-

"All of this was possible! And it all just happened!" I spoke loud and proud, surrounding the entire Deity in the Memory Orb, replacing it with the strange soldier from before. The malice from it had vanished, and was now replaced with fear. It was the same fear that all of us felt for this long, painful week. I could feel a strong sense of satisfaction from everyone else around, which was the same satisfaction that The Great Fairy and I felt. And so, high on victory, I gave out a triumphant yell.

"SO LET ME SHOW YOU JUST HOW IMPOSSIBLE THIS ALL REALLY IS!"

I slammed down the Memory Orb and completely surrounded the Deity, then reached in and grabbed it one last time, letting the grey light engulfed everyone. A sound of agony could be heard from the vanishing curse, but that was all. It vanished along with its malice; its screams being drowned by the several triumphant war cries around us. I couldn't help myself from giving off one as well. As the light faded and all that was left in Yeto's hand was a strange looking mask, I finally felt calm. With the break in the clouds showering down a stream of golden-orange light of sunrise, I finally felt relieved.

It was finally over. No more suffering, no more pain, no more loss.

We had won.
