Hello, and welcome back to my imagination.

I do not own Naruto.

Please enjoy!

First Person Zoe!

"I'm sorry, what?" I asked, gawking at her as we sat at the kitchen table. If the eggs weren't broken from Onyxcia's grand entrance before, then they definitely were after Beth dropped them when she was told there were actually ten kittens. The silence that had loomed over us after we had cornered Onyxcia into answering our questions was deafening- I was actually in shock. How were we supposed to take care of- or keep ten kittens?

Did our house look like an animal shelter?

I scrunched my nose up at the smell that I imagined coming from the litter of ten kittens, and Onyxcia broke the silence again.

"Look," she stuttered. "I'm sorry, but they were just so- so cute! You haven't even seen them yet! As soon as you see them, you won't be able to turn them down!" She leaned backwards in the kitchen chair, balancing on the back two legs, "And besides, someone actually dyed these poor kittens, like the rainbow, or something. I needed to save them," She sniffed heroically.

I sighed. She did this to us all the time- pulling the heroic move to win us over. Like this one time, she found a big wolf spider while we were camping that some kids were screaming and running away from. Instead of killing it for the kids, she brought it home, and left it on the kitchen table in a Tupperware container with a bunch of holes poked into it for ventilation. She claimed she saved it from these evil kids that were going to kill it.

I paused, inwardly being thankful that this actually was better than a wolf spider situation. At least kittens are fluffy and cute.

Frowning, Elizabeth huffed, "What kind of sick bastard dyes kittens? And, if you've already said yes, we can't just come back and tell him no. That'd be unfair to your uncle." She grunted as she stood up, obviously giving in. "But, if these kittens have a bad rash from the dye and we have a big vet bill, you," She looked at Onyxcia pointedly, "are paying the whole thing."

I let out a sigh of defeat, hoisting myself up and pulling on my big, fluffy sweater that was hanging proudly on the hook in the corner of the kitchen. I grabbed the keys out of my pocket and tossed them to Beth, heading into the entranceway to slip my boots on. Onyxcia threw open the door with a squeal and ran outside, forgetting, or not caring enough, to put on shoes or a coat. I snorted, following behind her and closing the door behind me so snow didn't pile into the house.

Shivering, I rushed to the back door seeing that Onyxcia had already claimed the front one. She was hopping back and forth, waiting for the reassuring click from the doors unlocking and saving her from her bare feet.

"I guess you should've put shoes on, huh," I mumbled under my breath, smirking at her. I wasn't sure she'd hear me, but I knew she did when I caught her glare at me, her breath coming out in clouds from the cold air.

I felt the doors unlock as soon as I turned to see Beth emerging from the house, holding onto a sweater and sneakers undoubtedly for Onyxcia. I smiled at her, pulling on the handle and hoisting myself up into the tall vehicle as Beth went around.

"Awww," Onyxcia chimed, looking at the clothes Beth had happily. "You didn't have to do that! Thank you," She sung sweetly, pulling out a bundled up pair of socks from the sneakers.

"No worries," Beth hummed as she buckled herself in and got onto the road.

Beth was obviously a bit uncomfortable driving in the snow, driving at least 10 under the speed limit at all times to be cautious. The snow in Canada was no joke- often times there would be a few cars in the ditch on the way home from going too fast, or not having good enough tires to handle the crazy weather.

"Man," Onyxcia groaned after a few moments of silence. "Why are we slowing down? The jeep can handle this," she grinned.

We had come up behind a little car, obviously fighting to get through the snow. Their four-ways were on, signaling to Beth that they were going to be going under the speed limit.

"Yes, the Jeep can," Beth agreed, passing the car when it pulled off to the side to let others go by. "But I don't think that little Corolla can."

It wasn't a long drive to get to her uncles- we lived just outside of the big part of town, about fifteen minutes out, and her uncle's restaurant was one of the busiest places in central town. Based on what Onyxcia said, he made the big bucks of the family, and made sure everyone knew it.

I looked out the window, staring at the snowflakes falling from the sky ever so gracefully. They stuck to the windows, only for a second, before melting down into little teardrops of water. I traced my finger down as a big drop raced down, a smile on my lips.

Winter was my favorite season.

I frowned as we stopped, and looked up, realizing we were at an intersection in town already. Beth and Onyxcia were talking about whether or not we had a litter box at home, or any of the supplies that we'd need to take care of ten little friends.

"Listen," Beth exasperated, looking all around before she cautiously proceeded through a green light, "there's no way we have any litter. I know I gave it to Wesley and Erik when they got a kitten," Beth insisted, turning her blinker on to turn right. "Do you remember giving them all of our stuff, Zo?"

"Yeah," I hummed, nodding. I pulled my dark locks out of my eyes and tucked them behind my ear, only for them to fall back into my face seconds later. "I remember when they got that cat like it was yesterday," I grinned, thinking about the memory.

Onyxcia pouted, "So, I guess we need to get litter boxes, litter, and food?"

I laughed, "Yeah, we'll just stop on our way home."

We pulled to a halt in front her uncle's restaurant, the smell of garlic freshly cooked pouring into the windows that I had cracked.

"This is it, right, Nyx?" Elizabeth asked, reversing into a parking spot near the front door. As soon as she shifted into park, Nyx whipped the door open and skipped towards the restaurant excitedly. "I guess that's a yes."

Third Person

As Onyxcia ran to the restaurant, she had a giant smile on her face. Her uncle hadn't really offered the kittens to her, she found them on the road in a box and she didn't want to leave them there to die, but she also knew that she couldn't bring them straight home without getting in trouble.

As soon as she found the box and peered inside, it made her skin crawl. When she had seen the oddly coloured kittens, many different things went through her mind of why someone would do that to a poor animal and then dump them afterwards.

Were they just plain cruel?

Thus, she brought them to her uncle and asked him to care for them until she could come and pick them up. He had the space, so she figured, why not? As long as no customers had found out and called a food inspector to check in, she was golden.

Pausing for a moment, she realized she needed to get the kittens out of there.

Regaining her composure, she pulled the doors open and walked in with a big smile. She walked past all of the tables and back into the kitchen hoping to find her uncle, which she did in a second. But, what she found him doing was quite interesting.

Her uncle had the silver kitten by its neck, holding it away from him in disgust. He was glaring at said kitten until he noticed his neice, sending his angry looks in her direction as soon as he noticed her. Dropping the kitten back into the box on the ground, he pointed at her, "Onyxcia," he huffed out angrily. "You didn't tell me they were obnoxious like this, or that they'd be here for hours! You need to get them out of here," He frowned.

She looked at him in shock, "I'm really sorry!" She mumbled, rushing forwards to grab the box by his feet. She quickly did a head count, smiling at the kittens she had secretly seen before, and closed the box flaps. "Thank you, again!" she called over her shoulder without a second glance as she exited the kitchen with her box filled with kittens.

Akatsuki P.O.V

"Hidan," Pein hissed, "I told you not to do that."

Hidan glared at his leader, seemingly fearless, "He wouldn't let go of the fucking food! What else was I supposed to do, let him tease the shit out of me?" He puffed out his chest, silver and white hairs poking outwards in an attempt to look bigger.

"That would've been the smarter thing to do, yes." Kakuzu grunted in annoyance. His multi-coloured orbs narrowed, "You're a moron."

"Fuck you, Kakuzu!" Hidan roared, swiping his silver paw towards his partner. "I'm hungry as hell, I wanted that chicken!"

Deidara snickered, "wonderful comeback, Hidan. You just get better at being a little bitch, yeah."

"Don't encourage him, brat," Sasori growled, tail twitching back and forth.

"Shut the hell up, Barbie, before I come over there and make you!" Hidan shouted over Sasori, seemingly getting louder with every retort.

"Enough." Pein stated. He was obviously getting irritated with his organization of criminals, or, kittens, and he wasn't going to put up with them constantly bickering in his ear.

"Thank you, Pein-sama," Itachi frowned, his ears pinned back to his head. His black eyes were twitching in annoyance from how much noise one being could make, a headache forming already.

All of the kittens grunted when they were suddenly thrown against the side of the box. They heard a faint 'oopsie' but nothing other than that. They were tilted back the way they were supposed to be a second later, but they heard other voices.

"Did you get them?" A bored voice asked.

"Yeah," the first voice replied with a squeal. "They're so cute!"

"Well," a third voice stated. "I hope they're not little shits or else Zoe might throw a tantrum and kill the poor things."

"Fucking bullshit," Hidan seethed, listening to their voices. "Were we taken in by a bunch of little fucking girls!?"

"Wipe that stupid grin off your face," the second voice said rather amused. "Open the box and give me one."

Suddenly, the box was ripped open and a blonde girl with red eyes was peeking her head in. The Akatsuki recognized her, remembering the hours they had spent in the box before she had stopped and found them, shivering and fur frozen. However, they hadn't noticed her eyes before.

"Hey, Uchiha," Hidan barked, turning to the dark kitten. "Is this bitch a fucking member of your shitty clan, too?"

Itachi's tail whipped from one side to the other, agitated. "Her eyes are similar to mine, however," Itachi paused, narrowing his eyes as he looked at her eyes for another second, "those are not Sharingan."

She reached in and grabbed Kisame, which enticed hisses from said cat, but Pein growled at him to stop.

"Everyone here is to behave like normal animals. Any other behavior will not be tolerated," he stated. "We need to find out where we are, get back to normal and make sure no one knows who we are. Is that understood?"

"Yes, Pein-sama." All of their voices chorused.

Zoe's P.O.V

I frowned as I was handed a big, blue kitty. It was a generally larger kitten, and it had black marks on its face, which looked like gills underneath of its eyes. I ran my fingers through its fur, looking for some sort of dye on its skin, or a rash, and was surprised to find absolutely nothing.

"Guys, there's no dye stain on their skin, or rash," I shared, looking up. "It doesn't look like they were dyed recently."

"Weird," Beth frowned, looking up in the rearview mirror. "Maybe they just cleaned it off really well? I guess it's a good thing, though," She said, turning onto a side road to make it back home. "At least they're not suffering, or hurting at all."

It stared at me as we talked, then let out a few little meows, tilting its head to the side. I heard hisses and meows from a few of the other kittens a second later. It hissed at them, it's fur standing up as it defended itself.

I dismissed the thought of that being slightly odd and replaced it with how cute the kitten was, despite its different colour. I decided not to check its gender, just calling the kitten 'it' for now.

I placed it in my lap and started petting it, turning my attention back to the kittens in the Jeep as Beth began driving again. Onyxcia was cooing at the other kittens in the box, singing to them and letting a few of the out into the back seat with me to have more room to roam. They peeked around curiously, seemingly scared of the moving vehicle, which was normal.

Pulling into a small pet store parking lot, Beth smiled up at us, putting the Jeep back into park once again. "I'm going to go get some cat food, and litter," Beth informed us, leaving the vehicle running to keep us warm. "I'll be right back," she assured us, rushing to get the supplies.

"Zoe, wake up."

I quickly shot up, eyes flying open at the sound of Beth's voice. I groaned a bit at the pain, realizing I had fallen asleep in the car at some point on the way home. Noticing it was only me and Beth, I furrowed my eyebrows. The blue kitten still laid happily in my lap, letting out a yawn before stretching, and getting up, peering around for its brothers and sisters.

I laughed, wiping at my eyes, "Did I sleep the whole way home?"

Beth nodded, laughing with me for a second. "Yeah, you did. You didn't miss much though," she assured me. She reached out and pet the kitten which was looking all around curiously, "Onyxcia couldn't wait to get the other kittens inside to show them around, but I made her leave that one because you both looked so comfy."

I rolled my eyes, "let's go make sure she hasn't killed any of them yet."

Opening the car door, I braced myself for the cold air. Grabbing the blue kitten in one hand and my phone in the other, I tucked the kitten into my sweater pocket to keep it warm before rushing out into the wind and toward the safety of our old house. I frowned at the rattling sound coming from the windows, hoping that none of them would blow out in the storm.

Beth held the door open for me, and I rushed in, kicking the snow off of my boots in the entryway before putting them in their proper place to dry. Beth had picked Onyxcia's shoes up from where they laid in the doorway before going into the kitchen with the bags from the pet store.

Quickly remembering my little friend, I pulled the kitten out of my pocket and held it in front of my face with a small smile before placing it on the ground so it could sniff out the other kittens. Except, instead of searching for it's friends, it just sat on the ground in front of me.

"You're a weird kitty," I told it, watching it follow me as I made for the living room. It seemed to be watching me, but I just shook it off, knowing these kittens were in a weird place for the first time.

When I made it into the living room, Onyxcia was sitting on the couch, taking pictures and videos of the kittens that were inspecting their new living arrangements. The blue kitten by my ankle meowed, and the black kitten meowed back to it back before it rushed over to the other kittens.

Plopping on the couch next to Onyxcia, I continued to observe the kittens' antics. I sighed, turning to her with a small smirk, "so, are you happy now?"

Smiling brightly, she turned towards me quickly; blonde locks whipping me in the face. "I am so excited, Zoe, thank you so much for letting me have these babies!" She chirped, quickly hugging me. Pulling back, she let a big grin overcome her features, "let's get naming!"

Third Person

In the kitchen, Beth had unpacked all of the essentials that she had gotten them- the bright green litter pan, accompanied by a no-name brand of litter that was much cheaper than the other brands, and a few catnip toys to entertain them. Grabbing the litter, she quickly stabbed a hole into the cardboard with a pair of scissors that were on the table and began pouring it into the pan, which she tucked safely in the corner of the kitchen.

Smiling, she grabbed the bag of toys and headed for the living room, tearing the plastic from the package as she waltzed into the room.

"What the fuck is that bitch bringing in now?" Hidan demanded, staring at Beth as she came into the living room. Beth raised her eyebrows at the meows from the silver kitten, dangling a pink mouse toy in front of him. "Fuck off bitch!" he snarled, swatting at her hand.

Mistaking it for playing, she threw the mouse toy to him, giggling when it hit his face enticing his hissing. She quickly sat on the other large couch in the room, sprawling over it with a breath of relief.

"I don't think it likes the toy," Zoe snorted, watching Hidan growl at the toy.

"Why do you bitches think I'd like a stupid ass pink toy?!" Hidan growled, puffing his chest out, "I'm a man!"

Bounding over unnoticed by the Akatsuki, Tobi barreled past his allies and pounced, knocking into Hidan in his efforts, "Tobi will get it, Senpai!" His back paws using Hidan's face for a kick-off, he shot after the pink toy again excitedly.

Onyxcia laughed, excitedly bouncing at the kittens' antics, "They love it! Look how cute they are," she shrieked, quickly plucking up the closest kitten to her, which happened to be Zetsu who was just observing the whole ordeal silently.

"Put me down, human," Zetsu hissed, "I'll eat you for supper!"

Onyxcia smiled at him, petting his head as he meowed and tried to soothe him. Seconds later, she picked him up and pulled his tail from between his legs, enticing screams from the multicolored kitten as his genitalia got checked. "It's a boy!" Onyxcia said, yelping when Zetsu bit her.

"I'm going to devour you!" Zetsu roared, obviously humiliated as he chomped down on her hand once again. Onyxcia placed him on the ground quickly, pulling her feet up onto the couch to avoid his angry swipes.

"Calm down, kitties!" Onyxcia pouted, hugging her legs as she watched the kittens hiss and growl in disapproval. She pointed at Zetsu, looking towards her friends, "His name is Kit-Kat."

"Like hell any of them are gonna look down there when I'm this small!" Hidan barked, ignoring the girls. His fur spiked out in all different directions as he prepared to attack whoever that would try to pick him up. "It's tiny in this little fucking body!"

Deidara groaned, looking towards Hidan, "gross, un! No one cares about your size," he scoffed, stretching his little legs out as he sat up from where he was curled on the ground. "It's probably bigger in this body, anyways, yeah," Deidara snickered.

Fueled with rage, Hidan sprinted towards Deidara, lunging at him with a loud hiss. Hidan growled, biting down on Deidara's arm before Deidara swatted at his head with a blonde paw.

Deidara rolled over, suddenly pinning Hidan down, "Ouch, you fucker! Don't bite me, yeah!"

"Take it easy, little ones," Beth frowned, observing the fight that had started underneath of the coffee table. She reached down, swiping the blonde kitten off from on top of the silver kitten. She flipped him upside down, much to his dismay, and made sure he was in fact a boy before naming him. "Easy, Thor," she smiled, trying to calm the anxious kitten.

"Thor?" Zoe laughed, looking at Beth. The brunette shot the laughing girl a look, flipping her off, "Must you bring your Avengers addiction into everything?"

"I will name all of my kittens after the Avengers," Beth warned, pointing at her friend.

"Hey, Itachi," Kisame grunted, turning towards his furry partner. "What are the Avengers?"

"I have no idea," Itachi stated, staring at the girls as they talked.

Zoe stood up, sighing as she looked for a kitten to name. Quickly grabbing the big blue kitten she had earlier bonded with, she headed back towards the couch, checking its gender quickly without anyone noticing. "Another boy," She hummed, flopping back into the couch.

"How do you know?" Onyxcia asked, grabbing the black kitten that had been sitting next to the big blue one seconds before. "This one is, too."

"I checked," Zoe said, as if it was obvious. She grinned at the kitten in her lap that was sitting peacefully, looking back up at her. Running her fingers through his soft fur, she giggled, "He's Megaladon."

"And Megaladon's friend is Raven!" Onyxcia declared, giving the black kitten a few swift pats on the head and placed him on the ground, already looking for her next kitten to name.

"These bitches better not name me something stupid like Kitty, or something," Hidan grumbled, watching each girl to see who would choose him.

"They'll probably name you Imbecile," Kakuzu growled, eyes narrowing at his partner. "I hope they bring you to an animal shelter because you're too annoying- it'll save me the trouble of having to kill you."

Hidan made to retort, but quickly stopped and retreated behind Kakuzu as one of the girls walked past him and towards their leaders. All chatter stopped amongst the kittens, everyone watching to see what their silent leaders would do.

Kneeling, Beth gently picked Konan up who silently accepted, watching the girls every move with interest as she headed back towards the couch. Allowing Beth to check anything she needed to get this over with so she could get back to her leaders side.

"I have a girl here," Beth smiled, scratching the side of the kittens head. "Her name can be Lilo, and that one," she paused, pointing at Kakuzu, "Can be stitch, because of all of it's little stripes. I don't care enough to check its gender," she admitted.

"Tobi likes your new name, Kakuzu-san!" Tobi cheered as he raced around the couch. He giggled as Onyxcia reached down and plucked him out of the air, playing with him. "Yay! It's Tobi's turn now!"

Gleefully, she cheered, "Another boy! Your name is Siren, cutie-pie."

"Is Tobi's name Siren now, or cutie-pie?" He wondered, jumping off of the couch.

Zoe ripped Sasori from a catnap he was taking when she gently lifted him off of the ground. Hazel eyes narrowing, he sighed in boredom, trying to wake up to at least hear his new name. "Let's make this quick," he sighed.

Checking the kitten quickly, she informed her friends that this one was another male. Raising her eyebrows at the bored kittens meows, she hummed, "I'll name this one Martin."

Onyxcia clapped excitedly, looking toward her friends, "There's only two of them left to name!" Rushing towards Hidan who had been cowering underneath of a vacant armchair, she attempted to grab him. He flew in the other direction, attempting to flee his inevitable naming and humiliation.

Zoe rolled her eyes as she watched the blonde's antics, shaking her head as she grabbed the last one, the extremely calm and nonchalant orange tabby with black spots on its face. As she picked him up, she felt all of the kittens staring at her, making her uneasy. Shaking it off as overthinking, she looked over the kitten, noting that 8/10 kittens so far were male.

"You will be Julius," She named him with little to no thought, shrugging.

"Finally!" Onyxcia exclaimed, wrapping her fingers tightly around Hidan's tiny body. She held him in the air, letting out a big puff of breath to blow her messy hair out of her face. "You little shit- you're the only one left! Don't make this harder than it has to be," She sneered.

Swiping at her face, Hidan tried to land any hits he could on her, "Like hell you're gonna name me, too! Fuck off!"

Quickly adjusting her hold on him, she grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and pulled his tail back, checking the gender of the last kitten as he hissed and growled at her in protest. "You are now named Little Monster!"

Zoe nodded, trying to ignore his hisses and meows, which only made his name more fitting. "I love it- it suits him so well."

Have a lovely day darlings.
