First Person!
Living with the Akatsuki really wasn't that bad.
Kisame, Kakuzu, Itachi, Konan, Sasori and Pein all cleaned up after themselves like the good ninja they were. If they made a mess, they cleaned it. If they had clothes to wash, they washed them (thanks to Onyxcia for teaching them how to use our washing machines).
Tobi, Zetsu, Hidan and Deidara, however… They were like walking disasters.
This morning, for example, Tobi had been walking down the stairs after he had showered. His eyes landed on Deidara, and something seemed to spark in his one visible eye. He lunged towards the blonde, tackling him to the floor and hitting Hidan's head on his way down.
And Zetsu tracked blood in this morning, refused to tell me what he had eaten and then disappeared.
"Tobi!" Deidara shrieked, whipping around to look at the lollipop man. "I'll kill you, yeah!"
Deidara wrapped his arm around Tobi's neck, pushing him to the floor before Hidan stood.
"That fucker hit my head!" He hissed, rushing towards Tobi as well.
I watched as Kakuzu sighed dejectedly, pulling his head off of the pillow it had previously been resting on and standing, walking towards the kitchen. Sasori, Pein, Konan, and Itachi were all in the kitchen with Beth; all of them had already given up with dealing with the morons.
Hidan quickly went to hit Tobi, but he somehow rolled out of Deidara's grip, dodging the blow quickly. Of course, it wasn't that easy however.
Hidan's fist smashed against Deidara's head, sending him to the floor quickly.
"You're going to have to separate them," I pointed out, glancing at Kisame.
"I usually do," Kisame nodded, a grin on his face. He turned slightly towards the door when it slammed open and I watched as his eyebrow rose.
"What?" I asked, turning my head to look at what he was looking at.
I stared at the large man standing in my doorway, his eyes narrowed at all of the men sitting/fighting in my living room. His tattooed arms crossed over his chest as his gaze met mine. "Zoe," he growled, eyes narrowed. "What the fuck?"
I shot to my feet quickly, ignoring the idiots who fought on the floor and rushed to his side. "Wes!" I said excitedly, wrapping my arms around his waist in a hug. I grabbed his wrist seconds later, dragging him into the kitchen with me while he continued to stare down Kisame.
"What the hell is going on?" He demanded, his eyes landing on Beth for an answer when we walked into the kitchen.
"Wes is here," I said, my eye twitching slightly as I turned to Beth. She gawked for a second before regaining her composure, "Did you invite Wes, Beth?"
"No," She said, shaking her head. "It's nice to see you. These are some friends of ours, they're staying with us for a while until they can sort out their living arrangements."
"Is that so?" He asked, turning to me. I nodded quickly at him.
"Hey Wesley!" Onyxcia's excited voice cheered from the doorway. She rushed over to him and threw her arms around him, a giant smile on her face. "How are you?"
"Good, Nyx," He grinned at the small blonde that clung to his arm. He looked up, "I better learn all of these names once I get back from the car. I forgot the Pepsi Onyxcia asked me for."
I watched as he walked out of the room before whipping around to look at Nyx, "Are you trying to get me murdered? That was why you were hiding upstairs?"
She nodded her head instantly, the grin not falling off of her face. "You didn't tell your big brother that we had some friends?" She asked innocently, cocking her head to the side.
"Brother?" Itachi asked, gaining my attention.
I sighed, turning to the curious ninja in the room. "Yes, that's my brother. His name is Wesley."
"He's ridiculously overprotective," Beth sighed. She glanced up to Onyxcia, "You should have told Zoe, though. She looks like she's gonna faint."
"Onyxcia Nicole Greystone," I growled. The smile fell off of her face quickly as she turned to me nervously.
Beth snorted.
She glanced around quickly, sending pleading looks to Sasori, Kakuzu, and Itachi. She didn't even try to pout at Pein and Konan before turning to the door, "Coming, Kakuzu! Sorry, Kakuzu is yelling for me," She lied, rushing to the door.
"I'm in here," Kakuzu grunted from his seat at the table. She ignored him, sticking up her middle finger as she disappeared into the living room.
"Pein, Konan," I started as I turned towards the leaders with my hands on my hips. "I'm sorry for anything offensive, stupid, or annoying my brother may say. He has no filter whatsoever. That's why you guys haven't been mentioned to him yet."
"You wouldn't have been able to hide them for long anyway," Beth shrugged, standing up. She wrapped her arms around me quickly, pulling me into her embrace before looking at me. "Good luck," she said simply, running into the living room after Nyx.
I gawked, "Did that really just happen?"
"How old is your brother?" Konan asked, giggling at our antics.
"27," my brothers voice cut in from behind me. I turned to look at him as he placed two cases of Pepsi down next to the fridge. He ripped the case open before tossing a can at me. I flinched, preparing myself for the impact, but it never came.
My hand flew up, quickly grabbing the can before it hit my stomach. My eyes widened as I caught it, glancing at Sasori whose finger was raised slightly away from his coffee cup, a smirk resting on his face.
"Your reflexes have improved," Wes snorted as he walked towards me. He rumpled my hair before his eyes lifted to the table, "And you all are?"
"My name is Pein," Pein introduced smoothly. He met my brothers gaze easily and I watched with a smirk as Wesley gawked at his Rinnegan.
I had the same reaction.
"This is Konan, Sasori, Kakuzu and Itachi," He continued, gesturing towards each person as he named them off. They all nodded respectfully towards my brother as he introduced them. "I'm sorry you weren't informed of our arrival. We requested not many people knew since we're not from around here, and we like to keep to ourselves."
"Those names are familiar," He stated, raising his eyebrow. "Where are you guys from?"
"Japan," Itachi cut in smoothly. My eyebrow raised at him in shock as he casually saved his companions. His hand moved slightly and rested on a newspaper that sat on the table, Japan in the title. A small smirk rested on his face.
My brother looked at Sasori, "What part of Japa-"
My phone let out a loud ring, cutting him off. I lunged for it, quickly grabbing it off of the table and answering it without checking the ID.
"Hello?" I asked, my brother staring at me with a raised eyebrow.
"Hey loser. Is Wesley harassing you?" My brothers husband asked through the phone with a sigh.
"Hi, Erik," I smiled, my brothers face turning into a frown. "What's wrong?"
"Something's wrong?" Wesley demanded. I sighed, rolling my eyes at him.
"Beth called me. Tell him that I passed out or some shit, I don't care," He snickered through the phone. "I'll hold my breath when he comes home so I look pale and sick. Love you little sis."
"I'll let him know," I nodded, a fake frown on my face. "Love you too, hope you feel better."
Wesley grabbed his coat off of the counter, making his way to the door before I even ended the call. He glanced around the room, "I love you, Zo. I'll be back to meet your friends properly sometime soon."
I snorted, placing a hand on my hip, "You don't even know what's wrong with him."
He shook his head, "I don't need to. He's my husband and if something's wrong, I'll be with him."
"It was nice meeting you," Itachi nodded towards him as he left.
I turned towards the ninja at the table, "I'm going to go kill Onyxcia now."
Sasori, Kakuzu, Pein, and Itachi all chuckled at my sudden mood swing while Konan giggled with a hand over her mouth like the pretty lady she was. I stormed into the living room, flinging the door open.
Onyxcia's head snapped up from Beth's lap, fear flashing through her eyes. Beth snorted as she stood quickly, attempting to escape me.
"What the fuck?" Hidan demanded as I tackled Onyxcia, rolling into a wall. I listened to a picture frame fall off of the wall and smash.
"You bitch!" I shrieked from on top of her.
"What are they doing, un?" Deidara asked.
"Onyxcia called her brother to torture her, or something," Sasori said with amusement in his voice.
I heard Kisame snicker when I started to tickle the girl beneath me.
"No!" She screamed as I poked her sides. "P-please! Stop it, I'm sorry!"
"No, you're not," Beth laughed from the couch. "You ran in here laughing your ass off about what you did."
Her attention snapped to Beth as I paused in tickling her, "You bitch!" She yelled, wiggling out from underneath of me and scrambling towards the brunette.
"Déjà vu?" Kisame asked no one in particular.
"You laughed at my misfortune?" I demanded in feign shock. I watched as she threw herself at Beth, landing on Deidara in the process while she gave Beth a noogie.
"Fuck off!" Beth snapped, grabbing her leg and throwing her off of the couch. "You wanna get your ass kicked?" she demanded, eyes narrowed.
"I think she could win," Kakuzu commented, glancing at Pein.
Pein shook his head, "I believe Onyxcia would win." Konan nodded, agreeing with Pein as per usual.
"Are we making bets?" Sasori asked sarcastically, raising an eyebrow.
"Crazy bitch," Hidan shook his head, looking at Beth with a frown. "One fucking second you're quiet as a damn mouse and next thing we know you're fucking threatening her."
I snorted immediately as the words left his mouth and Beth's eyes landed on him.
"Mood swing!" I laughed excitedly, a grin spread across my lips.
"Mood swing, yeah?" Deidara repeated, confused.
"Listen here you Jashinist fucker," She snarled, her finger pointed in his direction. "I'll poison your next meal. Shut the hell up before I make you."
"You don't even cook the damn food!" Hidan exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air. "The hot bitch cooks the food! From the muffin story the other night I wouldn't eat your fucking food anyways."
She opened her mouth before pausing. A large blush quickly spread across her face as she sputtered, "S-sorry Hidan."
He gawked at her in confusion, not understanding what was going on.
"She's fine," I waved at him with a snicker. "We're all done fighting now, so no bets."
"Damn," Sasori said in fake disappointment. "I was sure I'd win."
I snickered, picking myself up off of the floor and flopping on top of Beth and Deidara.
"Ow~" Deidara whined from underneath of me.
I tugged on his hair with one hand, poking his cheek with my other, a large grin spread across my lips. "What a cutie Deidara," I cooed as he scowled at me.
"Stop it, yeah!" He pouted.
I aww'ed at him, wrapping my arms around his neck and nuzzling his head, "You're so adorable!"
