Two updates in two days? Who am I?
I do not own Naruto!
First Person- O
"Why," I breathed out loudly, my face hanging off of the side of the bed. "Why did Pein want us to leave so early today?" I groaned. My eyes bored into the digital alarm clock that was at my bedside, proudly displaying the disgustingly early time of 6:07am.
Kisame let out a snicker at my exuberance, "Sorry, kid. You'll have to get up soon, though," He grinned, staring at me from his place on the floor.
He hoisted himself up easily, ruffling my already messy bedhead as he strode towards the door and to the bathroom.
Silence filled the room for a moment before I realized that Itachi was on the other side of my bed, lying on his mattress. I felt my cheeks burn up, mentally cursing myself for my embarrassment.
It's okay, I thought. As long as he doesn't say anything…
"Onyxcia?" Itachi's voice came, as I knew it would.
My eyes slammed shut for a moment and I considered feigning sleep before deciding to swallow the lump in my throat and turn to my other side, rolling over to face him.
His long black hair was out of its usual low ponytail, as it usually was when he went to sleep. I couldn't help but stare into his amber eyes, noticing a small smile that rested on his lips.
"Yes, Itachi?" I spoke before even processing the words that escaped my mouth.
He stared at me for a moment before speaking again, though it felt like minutes had passed, "You didn't cross any lines."
I paused for a moment, raising an eyebrow, "Wait, what?"
"I liked it," He said simply.
"Itachi Uchiha enjoyed kissing me?" I whispered slowly, my eyebrows furrowed together slightly. "Seriously?"
He chuckled, pulling himself into a sitting position. Our faces were only inches apart, his breath hitting my face. A small smirk made its way onto his face, our eyes never leaving each other's.
"The bathroom is free!" Kisame announced, striding into the room.
A loud shriek escaped my lips as I shot upwards, rushing out of the bed and towards the door, "Dibs!"
My feet padded against the floor quickly, rushing into the bathroom where I noticed a very angry looking Beth sitting on the toilet. An irritated look was spread across her face as she made no attempt to talk.
"You look awful," I said simply, grabbing my toothbrush off of the counter and beginning to brush my teeth in the right sink.
"Fuck off," she sighed, standing and washing her hands in the left sink. "You sure rushed in here, you okay?"
I rolled my eyes, pulling my blonde locks out of my face as I spat into the sink. "Oh, so now you're a morning person," I said sarcastically, grabbing her brush off of the counter seconds before her. "And you want to talk. Who are you, and what have you done with Beth?"
"Onyxcia," She sighed, staring at me intently.
I paused in my rambling and sheepishly put the brush down on the counter in front of her again, "Sorry. I just, I'm nervous to talk to Itachi about the kiss."
"You mean the kiss that happened two days ago?" Beth demanded, staring at me in shock. "You still haven't talked about that?"
"He just told me that he enjoyed it, actually," I said dreamily as I held my hands together and looked up dramatically.
"But you ran out, Onyxcia," Beth said slowly.
I froze, processing her words. "I ran out…" I whispered quietly.
"Oh, no," She whispered. "Onyxcia, don't do anything stupid."
A loud banging on the door snapped me back to reality as Zoe hollered through the door, "Hurry up bitches, I need to piss!"
"Did not need to fucking know that!" Hidan yelled back to her.
I ripped the door open, shoving my shorter best friend out of the way as my feet thundered towards my room once again. I skidded to a stop, throwing the door open where I saw Kisame and Itachi each sitting on my bed.
I walked in quickly, catching both mens attention as I walked straight up to Itachi's face.
And I sure as hell didn't think twice again before kissing him.
Third Person!
"What was that about?" Zoe asked, picking herself up off of the floor where her friend had thrown her. She watched as Nyx strode to her bedroom door and rushed in, Kisame walking out and past the bathroom seconds later.
Beth sighed, "She's going through some emotions right now. I wouldn't concern myself about it if I were you," she shrugged, walking out of the bathroom. "Itachi's got it covered I'm sure."
Zoe mouthed the words back to herself in confusion, closing the door to the bathroom behind her quickly.
Beth strode back into her room, her eyes landing on Kisame who sat casually on her bed next to Deidara. "Hi, Kisame," She greeted, an eyebrow raised.
"Hey, Beth," He greeted, a grin settled on his face. "I guess you're wondering why I'm here."
"I suppose I am," She nodded, a snort escaping her lips. "Why are you here, Kisame dearest?"
"I asked the same question, hm," Deidara sighed, shaking his head.
"You see," he started. "Itachi and I were just talking about Nyx and how she essentially sprinted from the room when she walks in and smashes their faces together. Now, you see," He sighed, shaking his head, "I'm faced with the decision to either watch and wonder if it'll stop, or just get up and walk out."
"So here he is, yeah," Deidara laughed.
"So here I am," Kisame chuckled, nodding.
"You made the right decision, I'm sure," She giggled.
Pein poked his head in the doorway moments later, "Are you all ready?"
"Yes," Beth nodded, grabbing her drawstring bag and pulling it over her shoulders.
All of the occupants of the lodge were gathered in front of the house within two minutes, minus Hidan, of course, ready to go back home.
"Where the hell is he?" Zoe mumbled in annoyance, her arms crossed over her chest.
"He's probably doing something stupid," Sasori sighed, looking at the shorter girl. "Did anyone tell him we were leaving?"
"Multiple times," Kakuzu grunted. "He was awake when Zoe went to the washroom."
"Yeah, we all know," Onyxcia laughed. Her cheeks were tinged red, a large smile seemingly permanently etched on her face.
"The only reason I had to announce it was because you and Beth were in the bathroom for so long!" Zoe hissed. "Like, come on, can't you guys talk in your bedroom or something?"
"Tobi-san thinks that Zoe-chan is not a morning person either!" Tobi sang, throwing his arms around said girl. "Don't worry! Tobi will hug the angry out of you!"
Zoe glared at Kisame and Deidara who howled with laughter.
"We will leave now," Pein huffed, pinching the bridge of his nose as he looked over his organization. "It is Hidan's own fault that he gets left behind."
"Yay!" Tobi cheered, grabbing Zoe and shooting away from the group, holding her bridal style.
Her eyes widened as she watched the world around her spin, her head pounding. Seconds later, they landed on top of her house.
"Fuck!" Zoe shrieked, her arms wrapping around the masked man's neck quickly. "Tobi, please warn me next time!"
"What's wrong Zoe-chan? Did Tobi scare you?" He giggled loudly. He paused, staring down at her, "Finally, we're alone. Zoe," His deep voice spoke. His head turned slightly to look behind him, smirking behind his mask as he noticed how far away the others were.
Chills ran down her spine as she realized what was going on. Shit.
Her hazel eyes slowly looked up to meet his one blazing red eye.
She gulped, attempting to swallow her fear. "Yes, Madara?"
"We need to talk about your impact on my organization."
"Are you okay, yeah?" Deidara asked, looking back towards Beth as they made their way back to the house.
"I'm fine," She smiled lightly. She thought back to when she found Tobi with his ear pressed against Onyxcia's door. Her stomach fluttered slightly, but she ignored it, continuing to smile at the blonde that carried her, "I'm just thinking."
"How much longer?" Hidan whined, huffing.
"We would have been there much sooner had you been ready on time," Itachi frowned, his arms hooked under Onyxcia's legs as she giggled and threw sticks at Hidan. "Of course, you held us back once again."
"Fuck you, Uchiha!" Hidan roared from the back of the group.
Sasori rolled his eyes at the Jashinist, continuing at the front of the group. He glanced down to his legs, deciding to ignore any other pointless bickering as he frowned.
Within the past week, his height had increased significantly. The aches and pain coursed through his body constantly, leaving him stressed and annoyed with any stupidity he had to endure.
The transition from puppet back to human didn't come without advantages, however. He had finally felt some emotions coming back to him, a consistent worry for a certain young girl always racing around his head.
He was certainly in pain now, but he knew that this feeling- these emotions were worth it.
Guys! I just wanted to make a quick shoutout to Konoha's Springtime Angel!
Her love and support has made me an extremely happy camper, and I would absolutely recommend you all going to read her Akatsuki Kitten's fanfic Rainbow Fireworks.
It's literally amazing.
Thank you so much for the love, Tenshi-chan! xo
