Edited 1/2/20 Chapter 13

Another day pasted as the fellowship ran across the plains of Rohan and Legolas had noticed the young elf he had claimed as a brother was brooding and at times would look out over the plains as if wishing he would see something that he knew he would not find. He decided that he needed to help his little brother and slowed down slightly till he came level with the young elf. "Why are you brooding Harry, You seem to be wishing to find something?"

Harry gave Legolas a sad smile as he said "It is nothing Legolas, Just memories and a wish that will never be fulfilled."

"How can you be so sure that won't be?" Legolas asked

"Because the person I wish to see is dead, and it is because I failed to protect him and I fear that it will happen again." Harry replied before he sped up to run beside Aragorn leaving Legolas to wonder what Harry meant.

Not long after Aragorn had stopped as he heard the sound of many horses coming their way and motioned for the others to take cover behind some rocks and after they were all safely hidden Aragorn curled protectively around Harry without realizing it but Harry did noticed and wondered at it.

A lot of horses thundered by and Aragorn noticed that they were the Rohan Soldiers and stepped out followed by the Others "Rider's of Rohan what news from the Mark!" He yelled.

They watched as the riders turned back towards them and soon enough surrounded them one came to the front asking "What business does two men, four elves, and a dwarf have in the Riddimark speak quickly."

Gimlie made a comment that insulted the captain then the captain replied that he would cut his head if it stood higher and that was when Harry had enough "Enough, We mean no harm to anyone in Rohan. We seeking a pack of Uruk-hai who have taken two of our friends, So if you won't help us then get out of our way I will not have them die because you detained us."

Harry was pissed and the power flowing of him scared quite a few of the Rohirim but one spoke out "Harry, is that you?"

Harry froze in shock at that voice as he thought he would never hear it again as he turned to face it he saw a young rider pull of his helmet and as he got off his horse. Harry saw the riders face whispered "Draco?"

The young man nodded with a small smirk on his face as he said teasingly "Am I that easy to forget scar head?"

Harry cried out as he flung himself at the blond crying "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry!" Draco held Harry close but noticed that the others had lowered their spears thinking that Harry was a threat and Draco.

Draco snapped no one harmed or threatened his little brother "Oh put your damn spears away he is no threat to any of us and I will personally vouch for those with him because Harry would not be with anyone who had ill intent."

Éomer motioned for the spears to be lifted and asked "Are you sure you will vouch for them all Draco?"

Draco nodded before turning back to his Little brother who was still sobbing in his arms. "Hey little Brother what is with all the tears?"

"I failed you, if I had not told you to stay behind you would not have been thrown through the vale, I didn't even know until the final battle happened. It was all my fault." Harry could barely speak but once Draco heard this he knew what to do.

"Alright you listen to me Harry it was not your fault. One you needed someone to stay behind who could watch over those who needed it at the school. You took me in when I had nowhere to go and needed someone to protect me. But you also gave me a brother and a true friend. I can't be more thankful for that. That is the reason I am here when I went through the vale I was given a choice to go where I would be needed or to move on and I was told I would be needed by you. After that the decision was easy so I came here and I waited for you to show up and I am glad I did. I won't leave you again."

Soon enough Harry calmed down but still clung to his brother as Draco spoke to his captain "Éomer I will be going with Harry and his company I will take them to the Uruk's we killed last night. I hope to see you again but my place it with my brother."

Éomer nodded and called for the three horses who no longer had riders and handed them to Aragorn before turning to Draco saying "I hope you know what you are doing Draco. But good luck to you."

Draco nodded but before the rest of the Rohirim could leave Harry spoke "Éomer Stay within a few hundred leagues of here you will be needed soon and it will be easier to find you if I can give a general vicinity to look for you."

Éomer did not know what to make of that but nodded in acknowledgment before yelling that they would rider north and taking off with the rest of the Rohirim right behind him.
