Chapter 16

Harry landed in a secluded back hall in the golden hall close to the room he needed to get to. He cast a disillusionment charm on himself and started down he hall at a brisk pace as he had little time. It took him a few minutes to find the door but slipped in quickly but when he turned around he was met with a small dagger to his throat.

"Who are you and why are you here?" A young blond woman in a white dress stood before him, as he studied her he could tell she had been crying and from the bags under her eyes that she had not had much sleep recently.

As he raised his hands in gesture of surrender he looked the young woman in the eye so she could see the truth there. "I mean no harm to you or Thatred my lady I am here to help. I can save his life and I can keep that fact hidden from the enemies that still reside inside the walls. I do this because the future I see where your cousin dies makes one of my loved ones a shell of himself as he loves your cousin so much. I do not wish to see that happen to my brother." Harry waited a few seconds to let what he had said sink in before continuing "Do I have your permission to save your cousin milady?"

She looked a little torn but with one glance back at her cousin her decision was made, she looked back at Harry "Help him but so help me you hurt him and I will gut you where you stand."

Harry nodded his understanding before walking over to Thatred and opened the pouch at his belt and pulling out a potion that was pure black and setting it on the bedside table. He then lent over the wound on Thatred's stomach noticing there was no dark magic in the would making it easier to heal. After he examined the wounds he set about healing them. As he worked he asked "May I have your name milady?"

The young woman was startled at the sound of his voice but answered readily enough "My name is Erwin my lord."

"It is nice to meet you Erwin. I have healed your cousins wounds, I am now going to wake him up and explain what I can do to hide this from the enemies within your walls." Harry said as he prepared to wake Thatred.

Erwin just nodded too stunned at what she had just seen to say anything. "Evenerate." Harry said the spell and watched as Thatred opened his eyes.

"Lord Thatred my name is Harry son of James I am here to help you. I have healed your wounds but you still have enemies within your walls, I need to keep you hidden for a few days till my allies can get here to help your father. But to do so I would have to give you a potion that will simulate death I will then place an illusion on you that will make it look like you have died of the wound I have just healed. Then in a few days once your father has been healed of his affliction I will give you the antidote and then your father will not be having to burry his child. Will you let me execute this plan my lord?" As Harry explained Thatred seemed deep in thought and now all Harry could do is wait.

After a few minutes Thatred looked up at Harry and nodded his head "You may proceed When I am woken you shall be rewarded for saving my life and Edoras from her enemies."

"I seek no reward my Lord, I help you because my brother loves you and he has lost much in his life and I will not let him lose the one he loves with all his heart." Harry replied

"Who do you speak of as I love someone but I have not told them as of yet?" Thatred asked with a slight smile.

"Draco Malfoy, my lord." Harry smiled back.

Thatred just smiled "Then it is good to know he returns my feeling and he his blessed to have a brother such as you. Now lets move forward with the plan."

Harry nodded "As you say my lord." With that Harry uncorked the vail that help the drought of living death and put four drops on Thatred's tongue and watched as the young man looked to stop breathing but their was so faint of breath that it could not be seen with the naked eye, his heart would have slowed to the point it barley beat and then once Thatred was in a statis like sleep Harry placed the illusion.

"I will be in the room at all times till I sense my friends close by only then will I leave Thatred as he will then be safe. No one will be able to see me but I will keep him safe I promise you that Lady Erwin." Harry told Erwin.

"Thank you for what you have done, you will be rewarded." Lady Erwin replied with a watery smile.

All Harry did was not before using the invisibility cloaks power to hide himself in the room and settled in for the next few days to wait.
