Hero Too
"So let me get this straight. You three are supposedly heroes from another country and you believe it's your destiny to bring 'true love' to the entire world. Also I'm your first target," said Goku with a confused look on his face. The three girls stood triumphant and sure of themselves.
"Can you look them up for me please? I've never heard of them." Goku had turned to one of the onlookers who quickly complied and pulled out his phone. Goku turned back to the three girls for a moment, "Sorry what did you call yourselves. Your team name I mean."
"We are the Kamikaze Fireballs!" announced all three girls as they took up poses.
"Brianne de Chateau!"
"Sanka Coo!"
"Sous Roas!"
"Son Goku!"
Everyone looked at Goku who had decided to have a bit of a laugh and join in. He once again burst into laughter as he scratched the back of his head in embarrassment. He turned back to the civilian from before and gave him a look.
"Here's something," the man turned his phone around to show Goku. There was an article about the 'Kamikaze Fireballs' alright and it took everything Goku had to not burst into laughter again. It read:
The Kamikaze Fireballs are a self-proclaimed team of pro heroes that originated in the United States. They're proclamation of fighting for true love is widely regarded as utter nonsense. They are mocked far and wide and in each country they visit they attempt to challenge someone who they deem an 'Enemy of love'. Each attempt ends in failure.
As Goku read this aloud, the team of girls began to grow embarrassed and angry at the same time. They were being mocked.
"How dare you?! We are true heroes!" defended Brianne. Goku tilted his head to the side and gave a small smile.
"It's cool you think that but unless you have proof you're not really heroes." The blunt truth caused the three girls to brim with anger and annoyance. Goku didn't seem to notice and shrugged it off.
"Look I really don't have time for this. I've got to get to UA like now. I hope you find someone else to fight" Goku gave a polite wave and turned around. As he walked off one of the girls, Sous to be exact, ran in front of him and blocked his exit. Then Brianne and Sanka surrounded Goku, with the three girls eventually surrounding Goku in a circle.
"You're not going anywhere evildoer," said Brianne before the three of them fired pink blasts from their hands directly at Goku. A pink explosion erupted around him with the nearby civilians getting the hint and making a swift evacuation. The Kamikaze Fireballs stood confident that they had won only for Brianne to freeze as a voice came from directly behind her.
"Not bad. Had you decided to do this any other day I would have complied, but I really do have something else to do so if you wouldn't mind." Goku was completely unscathed. He brushed the dust from his jacket and trousers before once more turning to leave.
"Where do you think you're going?! We haven't beaten you with the power of love yet!" complained Brianne as she stamped her foot. Goku stopped in his tracks and turned his upper body slightly to look at her.
"As I told you. I've got something going on today. Specifically something that begins in…" Goku pulled out his phone and looked at the time. His eyes went wide in worry, "Twenty minutes?! Oh man I've got to go now!" With that he pocketed his phone and turned to sprint away only to suddenly be blasted in the back. He was sent crashing to the ground but managed to bounce back up and land on his feet. He turned back to see all three girls had shot at him.
"I said I'm busy! Hurry up and get out of here!" he shouted, his anger rising and the nuisances the Kamikaze Fireballs were turning out to be.
"Not until we fight! Let's show him the true power of love girls!" Brianne cheered and the three separated slightly. They then began to spin around and perform poses as literal love hearts of pink energy came off their body. Then they were interrupted by a flurry of ki blasts from the bored and irritated Goku. The three girls dodged out of the way and began to glare at him. Goku honestly didn't care at the moment.
"Why'd you interrupt us?!" cried Brianne.
"We were transforming you know!" agreed Sanka.
"Yeah why'd you have to be so impolite?!" asked Sous.
"You think I'm just going to let you transform and get stronger?! Sure I love a fight but for once I want this over but by all means go ahead. Do your long transformation sequence and then I'll show you how quick it should be!" Goku retorted before facepalming. He'd essentially just told them he'd fight.
"Gonna have to make this quick."
"Thank you. From the top girls!" called Brianne and once more the three began to transform.
As pink light enveloped the area Goku simply jumped up and down to warm up while also getting anxious about how long he had left.
"If I miss it I'm gonna be killed" he panicked before the pink light disappeared and the three girls showed off their transformations. To say they were weird was an understatement.
Brianne had become near-spherically rotund and her skin had turned teal. She wore a sleeveless red and green dress with a very thick petticoat underneath it, yellow gloves and boots, and a rubber cap with an antenna-like protrusion.
Sous' skin had turned teal too. She now wore orange sunglasses in place of her glasses. She now wore a yellow and white gown with a purple jumpsuit underneath. She also wore white gloves and white boots.
Unsurprisingly, Sanka's skin had also turned teal. Her hair had turned dark blue, and she wore a black mask over her eyes. She wore a dark blue sleeveless bodysuit, wore green gloves, green boots, and had a dark blue coloured tail.
If Goku was to describe the three he would go with this:
Sanka looked the most normal.
"Ribrianne!"
"Roasie!"
"Kakunsa!"
"Shut up!"
Goku had yelled as the introduction repeated itself again but this time they were using different names. What he had found enjoyable the first time was now grinding his gears.
"Can we get on with this now?" he asked, his answer coming in the form Roasie attacking first. Goku's eyes widened at the speed of her punches and he initially struggled to block them. Yet despite this he couldn't help but smirk at the fact Roasie was enjoying the fight.
"Yacchaina Fist!" she announced as her punches got faster. Several of them connected with Goku who grunted with each attack. Then to make matters worse Kakunsa got involved.
"Flash Claw!" she cried as she leapt like a ferocious animal towards Goku who, still busy blocking Roasie, was unable to react. Kakunsa swung the claws on her right hand straight at Goku, slashing him in the back. Goku cried out in pain and the momentary of concentration enabled Roasie to land a clean and powerful kick in his chest. Goku stumbled back only to find a massive pink heart shaped beam coming towards him. As the attack blasted him in the chest Ribrianne called out the attack's name.
"Pretty Cannon!"
Goku was sent flying backwards and crashed into a building. The people inside cried out in fear with Goku getting to his feet, albeit in some pain.
"Sorry about that," he apologised before removing his jacket to see the claw marks in it. He also felt something wet on his back which he could only assume was blood. Seeing the claw marks in his jacket managed to anger him slightly though considering how much he liked the jacket. Then again not like Bulma or Momo couldn't repair it. He put the jacket back on and made his way out of the building only to immediately be blasted by Ribrianne. This time when Goku stood up after being knocked away, he immediately blasted straight towards Kakunsa, his body emanating a golden glow as he approached. Kakunsa dodged to the side and leapt at him, her claws ready. However, Goku simply grabbed her face and powered into his Super state. Kakunsa attempted to get free but Goku held her in place. When Roasie attempted to help her friend and comrade, Goku turned and lobbed Kakunsa at her. The latter collided with Roasie and both of them fell to the ground while Goku blasted towards them.
"Time for the real fight to begin!" he shouted as he grabbed both of them from the ground and held them up. The two struggled before being let go by Goku who simply smirked.
"The power of love will defeat you villain!" announced Ribrianne as both Kakunsa and Roasie jumped back to her side. The three took poses while took his own signature fighting stance, his left hand out in front with the clawed index and middle finger and the clawed thumb. His right hand was by his side and his legs were in in a battle-ready stance.
"Well I haven't seen proof of this yet. How about you actually show me as I haven't got long," he goaded. Right on cue the three girls attacked but Goku was ready this time. Roasie was clearly the most basic fighter. She attacked in flurries of punches and occasionally Goku reckoned she'd use her love beams or whatever they were called. Kakunsa was the most unpredictable due to her rather violent and primal nature when transformed but now that Goku was aware of her animalistic instincts, he would be able to counter her and hopefully take her out of the fight.
Ribrianne was the strangest. She was clearly the most powerful of the trio but Goku could sense she was hiding her true strength. Even then, something was off. Like she had multiple tricks up her sleeves.
Roasie attacked first with another flurry of punches. However, now that Goku was aware of her fighting style he was able to block each punch, his enhanced speed helping out as well. Roasie's punches may have gotten slightly faster due to her getting more determined, but she was bound to sleep eventually and eventually she did. She threw a powerful punch which Goku caught in his hand, grasping it tight. She attempted to pull back and when this failed, Kakunsa and Ribrianne realised it was time to act. Kakunsa leapt towards Goku who didn't flinch at her attack. Instead he lifted Roasie into the air and slammed her down into the ground before using the momentum from her bouncing back into the air to swing her around and bat Kakunsa away with her. As the two collided, Goku let go of Roasie. He then brought his hands to his right side and began to charge an attack.
"Ka. Me. Ha. Me. HAAAAAAA!" he roared as the blue beam collided with Kakunsa and Roasie the two being enveloped and blasted straight into a building where they depowered and were knocked unconscious. Goku stood up straight and rubbed his hands together only to tense when he felt Ribrianne's ki signature approaching rapidly.
"How dare you?! You'll pay for hurting Roasie and Kakunsa!" she declared angrily as she proceeded to fire off multiple powerful energy blasts. Goku deflected some, countered others with his own ki blasts and straight up took the rest head on. He flew towards Ribrianne who did the same thing and the two collided. Goku smirked while Ribrianne growled angrily. Despite her appearance she was definitely a force to reckon with.
"You're hiding something. How about you show me your true power?" Goku suggested only to be caught at a glancing blow by Ribrianne's fist. Goku stumbled back and smirked. Ribrianne had started to glow with pink energy which seemed to be gathering on her back. When the light dissipated, Goku simply groaned for Ribrianne looked exactly the same with the new addition of a pair of wings on her back.
"This is Super Ribrianne!" she happily announced while Goku face palmed. He soon regretted underestimating her for she had appeared in front of him in the blink of an eye. Ribrianne punched Goku and the impact sent him flying backwards. He backflipped mid-air and blasted forward throwing a powerful punch as he did so. Ribrianne caught it and Goku, in surprise, pulled his left hand back, charged a ki blast and then slammed his hand into her stomach before letting rip. Ribrianne was stunned but practically unaffected. She then used Goku's own trick against him with more successful results. However, due to anger the blast went straight through Goku's side, leaving a gaping hole. Goku coughed up blood and went limp, yet still in his Super state. He was then uppercutted away. People looked on in horror as he lay motionless, blood pouring from his wound. Even Ribrianne looked unnerved and slightly horrified of what she'd done.
"You happy now you lunatic! You just killed an innocent kid!" cried an onlooker as others began to reprimand and scream at Ribrianne. Some even began to throw things at her. The girl walked over to Goku to check she hadn't killed him. However, what she wasn't expecting was to see Goku with a massive smile on his face. Then a red glow began to emanate around his body. His spiked-up hair dropped and turned magenta red, the style resembling his usual hair. His body slimmed and he appeared more youthful with a slight pink tone. He opened his eyes to reveal them as red. It was the glow in a certain part of his body that surprised her the most. A small red flame that resembled his aura was coming from his gaping wound.
"You sure are determined, Brianna de Chateau. What do you know? I never knew there was, there was anyone out there that was that determined and sure of love. So determined, so determined. Beyond determined. And. I don't understand. Somehow, somehow I'm. Somehow, somehow I'm. Somehow I'm, I'm just excited. In fact I've never been this excited in my entire life!"
Goku's eyes snapped open, he smiled, and a bright red light shot into the air. Ribrianne stepped back and covered her eyes before her along with all other onlookers looked on in shock at Goku who hovered in the air, now in his God form. Goku immediately shot forward towards Ribrianne who was caught off guard by his immense speed. Goku send her flying towards the group of bystanders who called out in fear only to feel a calming heat as Goku quickly sped towards them, turned around and caught Ribrianne. He then blasted her high into the air and flew up after her. The two came face to face as Ribrianne caught her bearings. Goku was smiling and bubbling with joy while Ribrianne was gathering all the love from across the country to fuel her power. What Goku wasn't quite expecting was for Ribrianne to glow pink and her power to increase. He wasn't worried though and simply prepared himself before noticing the time.
He had 5 minutes to wrap up the fight and get to UA. 5 minutes he didn't want to waste.
"Time to wrap this up! I've got a little idea!" Goku shouted as Ribrianne herself began to charge an attack.
Goku flew higher into the air before stopping and raising his hands above his head. He began to gather ki.
"Please everyone raise your hands and lend me some of your energy!" he called happily, with the people complying almost instantly. Goku felt the energy build up above him and looked up to see a massive spirit bomb. Then he heard sirens which gave him all the info he needed.
"This is over! Feel the power of love!" exclaimed Ribrianne. In each hand was a large heart shaped blast which she then combined together and placed in front of her at a slight angle due to where Goku was. She looked more determined than ever and finally fired.
"My ultimate technique!" she announced.
"Ribrianne Eternal Love!"
The pink beam attack shot out rapidly towards Goku, who had just finished charging his spirit bomb. Or as he had just mentally called it, Super Spirit Bomb.
"Take this!" he cried out as he swung his arms down, the spirit bomb being essentially thrown straight at Ribrianne and her attack. The two attacks collided with a brief energy struggle occurring. One that was in vain. Goku's attack blew through Ribrianne's attack after he poured in more power and neared her. She screamed out not in fear but surprise as it enveloped her and crashed into the ground. An explosion ripped through the area, not affecting any citizens or Goku. When the spirit bomb finally dissipated, Ribrianne had been knock unconscious and had reverted back into Brianne. Goku had won at last. He depowered into his base form and landed on the ground.
"You know Brianne, while you three sure do have the heart of heroes, none of you understood the basics of being a true hero." Goku swung his right arm around and held it out to the crowd who were cheering. Brianne looked at him in confusion.
"What would that be if not love?" she asked with slight sadness. Goku smiled.
"The faith of the people." With that the police finally arrived and quickly arrested the three girls. Goku stopped the officer holding Brianne.
"Hey," he said, the officer turning to face him, "Go easy on them in court. They're good people deep down. I know they are." The officer smiled and tipped his hat before loading Brianne into the van. The doors closed and Brianne looked out to see Goku smiling at waving at her. Even though he had been threatened and called a villain, he still treated them with kindness and…love. A different type of love than she knew. That any of the Kamikaze Fireballs knew for that matter.
"Maybe love comes in all shapes and forms," Brianne thought be smiling back and raising her cuffed hands to wave. The van pulled away and eventually out of sight. Goku breathed out happily before looking at the time on his phone. His smile instantly vanished from his face and a look of horror swept over him.
It was 10:00 a.m. The concert had begun without him.
5 minutes earlier:
Jiro was worried. Goku had promised her he'd be back in time for the concert's start. That was at 9:15 a.m. just before he left to pay respects to his parent's graves. It was now 9:55 a.m. and he was nowhere to be seen. Not good.
"Where is he?" she muttered in urgency. She had been prepping her guitar and microphone, but the nerves were beginning to kick in. She hadn't sung in front of so many people before let alone play music. She had been thinking about a conversation she had had with her parents when she revealed she wanted to be a hero. They had completely supported her decision, but she felt guilty, as if she had let them down by not pursuing music as a career.
"If Goku's not her you'll have to go on without him," Aizawa bluntly stated. He wasn't too impressed at his student's tardiness.
"Can't we delay it a little?" asked Jiro only to immediately receive a blunt shake of the head. Aizawa wasn't going to negotiate.
"One minute! Let's do this!" called Kaminari as everyone made for their starting positions. Jiro did the same, silently praying Goku showed up in time. She wasn't that lucky.
The stage was set. The crowd was huge. There was only one thing left to do. Get the concert underway.
Bakugo was just the person to do that.
"Let's do this!" he shouted, raising his arms into the air, drumsticks at the ready. It was dark but he could be seen and definitely heard. He glared down slightly.
"We're gonna…Murder all UA students with music!"
He let rip a massive explosion that gave the cue for lights and special effects to begin.
Then the music began. The dancers began dancing while Jiro, who was playing her guitar prepared herself to sing. She moved to microphone.
"Thanks for coming out today!"

"Move Goku! Move! No way am I missing it!"

Goku was moving at full throttle just to get there in time. Not allowed to use his flight he was running faster than he had ever run before.

His destination. The UA dorms where his uniform for the concert was.

Goku finally arrived and burst straight through the dorm room. He could hear the music and got to work finding his costume quickly.
What do they think of me?
Who do they think I'll be?
I could not care less I don't wanna know.
Goku grabbed his uniform and immediately got undressed before trying to change quickly. He stumbled and cried out in surprise as he fell over, only one leg in his trousers.
Am I doing right?
Am I satisfied?
I wanna live my life like it's meant to be. Yeah!
Trousers were on, shirt was on, socks and shoes were on. Now all that remained were the blazer and tie. Goku fumbled with the latter but got nowhere. He sighed before an idea popped into his head.
Tried all my life,

Ohhhhh!
He burst out of his room and down the stairs before bursting out of the dorms. He immediately rushed for the support class area of the festival, hoping that the person he wanted to see was there.
Hero too!

"Bulma! I need your help!"
"Goku?! The concert is going on! Also how'd you know I was here?"
"No time to explain! Can you do my tie? I need it done now!"
"Haha! Why of course."

Bulma finished Goku's tie and straightened it before the latter put his blazer on. The two shared a smile before Bulma gestured behind her. Goku immediately took off and thanked her as he went.
"Go get her."

"I made her a promise. I swore I'd be there for the concert. I may have missed most of it, but I don't plan on missing anymore. We've always had each other's backs. We care for each other. I don't know if that's the kind of love she wants but it's kind that makes me feel happy when we're together. Really happy!"

A red glow appeared around Goku as he began rapidly neared the entrance to the concert. Aizawa was standing outside, saw Goku approach, smirked and opened the doors for him.

Yeah I'll be!
Goku transformed into his God form, ran through the open doors and immediately blasted into the air, the noise and light surprising and exciting everyone. He smiled. Jiro was singing her heart out. Time for him to do his job.

Goku fired ki blasts all over the arena. Blue ones, yellow ones and red ones. Then he clicked his fingers and they exploded, creating a firework like effect. The ki fell down on the audience who each had a small neon effect appear on them from the particles. Goku flew around the arena, high fiving the audience members.

Goku sensed an evil presence vanish and saw Eri on Togata's shoulder. Her arms were out, and she was smiling. Then he saw the next person he wanted to see smile. Kyoka Jiro.
I have met so many heroes in my life,
Gave me the strength and courage to survive.
Gave me the power to smile every day,
Now it's my turn to be the one to make you smile.
Goku blasted into the air and shot out ki beams to write something. It was faint at first, so no one knew what it read but he had one last surprise.
Goku flew straight at Jiro who saw him coming and smiled. He scooped her off the ground and held her in his arms as they went into the air. The climax of the song was approaching and the pair both had one last thing to do. Goku threw Jiro into the air and she played her little guitar solo. He caught her again and clicked his fingers lighting up the message he had written. Jiro looked at it before looking back at him, tears in her eyes. He smiled and she hugged him close.
The message read:
My hero.
With that, the song ended.
With his friends all around and the smiles clear Goku felt something he hadn't felt in years.
True happiness.

Here it is. The Season 4 finale of this story. I'm not going to do the Endeavour arc as Goku wouldn't play an part in it.
