I remember the night so vividly. It was the night of the 4th of July, fireworks booming in the background. I was- well, maybe I'll just show you the whole story.
July 3rd
"Bring me that dog!" Alpha growled, "I need him for my master plan!" She dipped her head, shamed she had spoken back to the Alpha. "Sorry Alpha." she mumbled. "Sorry doesn't catch me anymore servants. Punishment will teach you." Alpha smirked, heading to the control pannel. She gasped, "P-please no!" Alpha presser a button and a shock fell though the pup's body. She closed her eyes in pain. After about 10 seconds, it had stopped. "Now... get me that pup." Alpha growled. She nodded, still in pain and began to leave the hiding place. She hated this place, but no matter how much she tried to escape, there was none. Alpha was a cruel dog. He had shock collars and tracking devices on his servants. These servants were treated very poorly. Barely enough food, and given either a shock punishment or no food punishment if they did not listen to orders. Alpha had always picked her to get more pups, because she had always been the sneakiest. She was left near the hiding place as a pup, and she had no kin that she knew of, except for Alpha, who was her second cousin. Alpha was two years older than her. He had a bristling mane, and sharp brown eyes. He was a husky and had been raised by his evil grandfather until he had died. She sighed, jumping over a crumbled concrete wall. The hiding place was to be unheard of by humans and others. Once you get in there, there will never be an escape. She knew that to be true. As she walked out of an alley, she looked around, looking at the dark abandoned road. No one in sight. As always. She sniffed the ground, trying to find a scent. She grumbled, looking at the sky that was already darkening and stars started to shine. "I'll be here all night." She murmured angrily. She first started at her left trying to find a clue, but after noticing she had gone the wrong way to town, she sat on the road. As soon as she sat down, she felt a shock, and heard a growl come from her communication collar. "No breaks! Find that pup!" She sighed, standing up and turning around. She headed about two miles from where she was and she had seen the first car light. She ran to the side wall but stayed hidden behind some trash cans. As she turned around to start heading to the city, the trash can fell over. She ran behind a tree before anyone could see her. She sighed I'm relief and headed towards town. Once she saw the road become concrete and the street lights turn on, she had been walking for three miles. The moon shown bright in the sky, the stars all covers by dark grey clouds. She looked around for a hotel, and as she spotted a big yellow one, she ran over to it. As soon as she made it, she hid behind some crates. Once she decided it was a good time to leave, she backed away, but she was stopped by growling. She turned around and gulped. 2 big dogs, a Great Dane and bulldog we're standing there, growling. She gulped. "Well, well, well, what's a little pup doing out here in the middle of nowhere." They bared there teeth, and she winced. "I-I..." she heard pawsteps on the crate behind and turned to have her back against a wall. "Boys! Don't mess with my cousin!" She stared at the dog. "Beta. My other cousin." He was a lot nicer than Alpha and treated her a lot better. He was Alpha's older brother. She sighed of relief until he heard growling and tensed up. All the dogs tensed up. "W-who was that?" The bulldog asked, scarily.
