The Walking Dead: Season 4B (w/Telltale S2 characters)
Episode 11- Claimed
A little time has passed and LeRoy, Glenn, Tara, and Wyatt were sitting in the back of the three strangers' army truck, going who knows where. Glenn was still unconscious from his collapse earlier due to his sickness. "Why did we agree to go with these guys anyway?" Wyatt asked.
"It's better than staying back there." Tara said.
"Sure but, this is still f***ing nuts. I mean, we don't know these people. We don't even know if they're good or bad." He said.
"Well, they didn't take our weapons. So if they try anything, we'll be ready." LeRoy said.
While driving, they had to stop the truck due to walkers and a few vehicles blocking their path. Tara grabbed Glenn's M4 and aimed it at the walkers. "Do not fire that weapon!" The main guy said as he exited the truck. He started humorously taking out walkers with his crowbar, treating it like it's fun. LeRoy, Tara, and Wyatt jumped out to help. LeRoy stabbed one walker through the head with his sword and Wyatt axed another. The guy's crowbar got stuck in one of the walkers and Tara handed him an M4 to bash it's head in and then through it back to her. "There's some rags in the back." He said. He pulled his crowbar out of the walker's head and looked to see all three of them, LeRoy, Tara, and Wyatt, staring at him. "What?" He asked.
"Never seen that before." LeRoy said.
"I've seen you do the same thing." The guy said.
"You smiled. You were smiling." Tara said.
"Well, I'm the...luckiest guy in the world." He said.
"What do you mean?" LeRoy asked.
"How about you all help me with one of these cars. We have some miles to go." He said, going to get back in the truck.
(Intro)
Luke and Carl were sitting at the dining room table of the house they're staying in. Michonne came in with breakfast cereal for them. "What in the hell are you wearing?" Luke joked as she came in. Carl laughed.
"Do you have something to say about my extremely comfortable and attractive shirt?" Michonne asked.
"No, no, no. It looks great." Carl said, still laughing.
Michonne sat at the table to eat cereal with them. "I wish we had some soy milk." She said.
"What?" Carl said.
"You serious?" Luke asked.
"Yes, seriously. Have you guys ever tried it?" Michonne asked.
"Nick liked soy milk. So did Pete. One of the many similarities they had. But I personally think it tastes horrible." Luke said.
"Then you have a bad taste in milk." Michonne joked.
"My best friend in third grade, he was allergic to dairy. And every day he would bring this soy stuff to lunch. I tried it." Carl said.
"And?"
"I threw up." Carl said.
"Oh, yeah, right." Michonne said, laughing.
"No, that's a pretty valid response." Luke said.
"Oh, shut up, Luke." Michonne joked.
"All right, all right, I almost threw up. But I was like, ugh." Carl said, acting out himself almost throwing up. "It was so gross. I mean, literally, I would rather have powdered milk than have to drink that stuff again. I would rather have Judith's formula-" Carl paused after mentioning Judith.
"Carl..." Luke said.
"I have to go finish my book. I have a few chapters left." Carl said, getting up and leaving.
"Poor kid." Luke said.
Michonne went into the kitchen where Rick was. "Thank you. I heard him laughing in there. Almost forgot what that sounded like. I can't he his father and his best friend. He needs you. And Luke, I guess. I know that's a lot to throw at you. So if you're ever feeling like you need a break..."
"I'm done taking breaks." Michonne said. Rick nodded. "So what's the plan? This place, is it home or just a stop along the way?" She asked.
"Well, let's-let's just stay here while we figure it out." Rick said. Michonne nodded in agreement.
Luke joined them in the kitchen. "We're gonna need some supplies. Michonne, do you wanna take Carl out with us on a run?" Michonne asked.
"Yeah, we'll go with Carl and get some." Michonne said.
"I'll come, too." Rick said.
"You were unconscious yesterday." Rick said.
"Well, I'm awake today." Rick assured.
"We need you strong. Just rest. Just one more day." Michonne said.
She, Luke, and Carl went to the door with Rick. "How long you think you'll be?" Luke asked.
"Fill a couple bags, shouldn't be too long." Luke said.
"It's 8:15 now." Rick said.
"We'll be back soon." Michonne said.
"All right, you follow their lead. You understand?" Rick asked Carl as he handed him a revolver. "Hey. Everything okay?" He asked.
"Yeah. I'm just...hungry." Carl said.
"All right. I'll see you in a couple hours." Rick said. Michonne, Luke, and Carl left the house.
A little later...
Rick woke up in his bed to the sound of people talking and laughing downstairs. It sounded like around 15 people or so. Rick quickly checked the time to see if Michonne, Luke, and Carl would be back by now. He got up and hid behind the wall next to the door. He peaked out and saw a guy coming up the stairs and going into another room. He then went back to the bed and grabbed his book and watch then got under the bed. He tried to grab his water bottle so they won't know someone's there but the guy that went into the room came back out, forcing Rick to hide again. The guy passed his room and went into another room, which allowed Rick to grab his water bottle. The same guy entered Rick's room and started looking around. He was armed with an M16. After looking around, he layed down on Rick's bed.
When the guy was asleep, Rick slowly and carefully tried to get up from under the bed, but he was forced back under when another guy entered the room. "Yo. Comfy?" The guy said.
"You waking me up to see if I'm comfortable?" The guy in the bed asked.
"I want to lay down." The other guy said.
"Two other bedrooms to choose." The guy in the bed said.
"Them's kids' beds, Danny. I want this one." He said.
"It's claimed." Danny said.
"I didn't hear it. You gonna have to lay claim somewhere else." The guy said. The two of them suddenly started fighting. The guy punched Danny to the floor and started choking him. "Len! Len, stop!" He was saying. He turned to see Rick hiding under the bed. They both looked at exchanged stares until Danny passed out from being strangled.
"My bed now, jackoff." Len said, laying down on the bed. Rick was watching Danny carefully to make sure he doesn't wake up and see him again.
The truck was still driving to an unknown destination. Glenn finally started to wake up. He was confused on where they were. He tried to sit up. "Hey, don't move. Here's some water." Tara said, getting a bottle.
"Where are we?" Glenn asked.
"I don't know. We were fighting biters and you passed out right after we left the prison. I didn't know what to do. The back of the truck seemed safer than the side of the road." Tara said.
"Three people picked us up in this truck. We've been on the move for a while." Wyatt said.
"Did we pass a bus? On the road, did we pass a bus?" Glenn asked.
"Yeah." Tara said.
"What did you see?" He asked. "What did you see?!" He asked again.
"They were all dead." Tara said.
"How long since we passed it?"
"About three hours." LeRoy said.
Glenn started banging on the window in the back. "Hey, stop the truck." He said. The guy driving flipped him off. Glenn started banging harder. LeRoy, Tara, and Wyatt joined in. "Hey, numbnuts, stop the truck!" Tara yelled, banging on the back of the truck. Glenn grabbed his M4 and started hitting the window. "Stop the truck!" He yelled, hitting and cracking the window.
The guy stopped the truck and they all got out. Glenn grabbed his stuff and started leaving. "Where the hell are you going? Where the hell is he going?" The guy asked. Glenn kept walking and everyone started following him. "I don't know what you're friends told you about the special nature of the mission we're on, but this s**t is time-sensitive and we're already way behind schedule. So I need you to turn your a** around and get back in the truck." He said.
"I got to go." Glenn said.
"It seems like none of you's been paying close enough attention to the h*ll on earth we've been living in. So let me tell you how to best avoid winding up just another dead-alive prick. You find some strong, like-minded comrades and you stay stuck together like wet on water. We need people. The more the better. We need eachother, partner. Even with all that gear on your shoulder, you won't last a night. Not by yourself."
"I'll take my chances." Glenn said, trying to walk away again. The guy stopped him.
"I'm gonna have to insist that you hold the hell up. All right, believe it or not, the fate of the entire d**n human race might depend on it." He said.
"What the hell are you talking about? Who is this guy?" Glenn asked Tara, LeRoy, and Wyatt.
"I'm Sergeant Abraham Ford. And these are my companions, Rosita Espinosa and Dr. Eugene Porter. We're on a mission to get Eugene to Washington, DC. Eugene's a scientist and he knows exactly what caused this mess." Abraham said.
"All right. So what happened?" Glenn asked.
"It's classified." Eugene said. LeRoy, Tara, and Wyatt exchanged skeptical looks.
"He'd been talking to the muckety-mucks in Washington on his satellite phone. The past couple of weeks, nobody's been picking up on the other end. We saw how you handled those corpses back there. We could use your help." Abraham said.
"Sorry." Glenn said and started walking away. They all started following him again.
"We had to get us off the road. You were passed out and we were out of bullets. Me, Wyatt, and Tara know how to get back to that bus." Tara said.
"Yeah. I wrote down every turn. We'll get you back, okay." LeRoy said.
"That's where she'd go to find me. That's where I'm gonna go." Glenn said.
"It's a waste of time. Tara told us what went down. There is zero chance you'll ever find your wife again. Alive or dead. Mainly because, sorry to tell you, she's gone." Abraham said. Glenn stopped walking. "No need for you to die, too. Now come on. Get back in the truck. Do something with your life." Abraham said. Glenn dropped his bag. "When the people we love kick...well, they disappear. Doesn't mean you've got to go out that way, too."
Glenn turned around and punched Abraham in the face, knocking him to the ground. "She's alive and I'm gonna find her." Glenn said.
"You son of a b***h!" Abraham yelled and tackled Glenn to the ground. They started wrestling but Abraham got the upper hand. LeRoy, Tara, Wyatt, and Rosita were trying to break it up.
While they were too busy fighting, walkers were coming out of the forest and corn field and Eugene, who was all the way down by the truck, was the only one who noticed. "Hey! Hey!" Eugene was shouting to him. They didn't hear him since they were too busy trying to break up the fight. Eugene grabbed an assault rifle from the truck and clumsily started shooting it. He was shooting everywhere and even hitting the truck. The rest heard the shooting and Glenn and Abraham stopped fighting. "Eugene! Stop firing, d**n it! Stop firing! We need to get our weapons." Abraham was yelling as they ran back to the truck. Abraham started helping Eugene take out walkers with his desert eagle. LeRoy started shooting walkers with his vector. Glenn was using an MP5 and Tara was using an submachine Ak. Wyatt was staying back and shooting walkers with his rifle. When all the walkers were dead, Abraham went to the truck and saw that Eugene shot the gas tank and the gas was leaking out. "Son of a d*ck."
Back at the house...
Len was asleep, which gave Rick a chance to get up from under the bed. He slowly and carefully got from under the bed. He stood up and saw Len asleep and Danny unconscious on the floor. "Danny, Len, get your a**es down here." A voice called from downstairs. Rick quickly ran out of the room and hid in another room as the guy was coming up the stairs and bouncing a tennis ball. "Yo. You here me?" He asked. Rick hid behind one of the walls in the bedroom. The guy entered the room. He walked towards where Rick was hiding but stopped before he passed the wall and started bouncing the ball against the wall. He then left the room. Rick tried opening the windows but they wouldn't open.
"Claim, claim, claim!" A guy yelled from downstairs.
"Shut the h*ll up! I'm trying to sleep." Len said.
"There's a woman shacking up in here." Another guy said.
"Say what, Nate?" Len said.
"Come on down." Nate said.
"She hot?" Man #2 asked.
"Don't grab your pecker just yet. She ain't here." Nate said.
"What the h*ll you hollering about?" Len asked, walking downstairs with another guy.
"Found her shirt. Must have washed it this morning. Smells good." Man #1 said.
"Oh, you found a shirt, huh? She could be miles away by now." Man #3 said.
"Why'd she go to all the trouble of washing a shirt when she's just gonna ditch it? She'll be back." Nate said.
"I call first when she gets here." Len said.
"Who else she got with her? We need to be ready for anything. Len, take the side room." Man #4 said.
"Hold on, let me get a gun." Len said. He started running back up the stairs and Rick quickly retreated back from going to his room and went into the bathroom and closed the door.
Rick turned to see a member of their group sitting on the toilet lid. He punched him in the stomach and they started wrestling. The guy pushed Rick against the sink but Rick managed to rap the guy's UZI strap around his neck and started choking him. The guy tried to grab the scissors on the sink but Rick pulled him back and onto the floor. Rick kept choking him until he was dead. When he was dead, Rick grabbed the UZI and then opened the bathroom window. Before he went out he carefully cracked open the bathroom door.
Rick climbed out onto the roof and put on his jacket. He then carefully and quietly climbed down from the roof. He snuck his way to the front porch where the gang's leader came out onto the porch and sat on the ledge next to where Rick is. Rick saw Michonne, Luke, and Carl coming back from their run. He had no choice but to kill the guy. But before he could jump up and do anything, guys started screaming and shooting from inside since the guy in the bathroom turned. The man on the porch ran inside to help. It allowed Rick to make a run for it. "Go! Go!" Rick said. They all ran away from the house.
Everybody was just standing around while Abraham was examining the truck from underneath it. "We were running a convoy in one of these. Coming up a dune, there's this camel, looks like it's about to puke. Probably because s**tbird's packed about four pounds of C-4 up it's a**. We were within 20 feet of that blast that sent that animal's hump half a klick into the desert. And we drove home. So you tell me how in the holy hell did you possibly kill this truck?" Abraham asked as he climbed out from under the truck.
"A fully amped-up state and an ignorance of rapid-firing weapons." Eugene said blankly.
"Sorry about your ride. Hope you guys make it to Washington." Glenn said, handing Abraham his MP5 and walking away.
"Wait for us." Tara said and ran after Glenn after she handed Rosita her AK. LeRoy and Wyatt followed.
Rosita sighed and started following them, too. She knew that Abraham and Eugene were looking at her. "What the hell else are we gonna do?" She asked.
"Go to Washington. Fix the whole d**n world!" Abraham yelled after them.
"That way's clear. Who knows what's north. We'll find another vehicle. We'll go with them until we do. Trust me. I am smarter than you." Eugene said to Abraham. He went to the truck and grabbed their bags of supplies and they both started following them.
A little later, LeRoy and Tara were talking with Abraham while they were all walking. "Got to hand it to him. He's a persistent son of a b**ch." LeRoy said.
"Yeah. I get why you guys are following him. You're loyal." Abraham said.
"Loyal? We just met the guy. Wyatt maybe, he already knew him. But I'm just helping out so he can help me find my sister." LeRoy said.
"You're a good person. So are you. I like it. But what we're doing-I don't know how else to say it. Saving the world is just-is just more important." He said.
"Maybe." LeRoy said.
"I mean, even if he does find his wife, so what? How long do you think they'll live happily ever after if we don't get Eugene up to Washington?" Abraham asked.
"You think just because we're following Glenn, that makes us good people? We're not. Well, I'm not." Tara said.
Abraham just laughed when he heard her say that. "You're good." He said.
"You don't know anything about me. Just like I don't know anything about why you're going to Washington. I get why Eugene's going. He's the only one that knows how to end this. And Rosita, she loves you. She'd follow you anywhere. But why the hell you agreed to drive him halfway across the country..." Tara said.
"Is that hard to believe, I want to save the world?" Abraham asked.
"What? Because you're a good person? You don't have to tell us why. Just don't lie to us." Tara said. She turned her attention to LeRoy. "So, LeRoy, how'd you end up with Glenn anyway? Hell, how'd you end up at the prison? You weren't one of us, with Troy and Brian." Tara asked.
"I was with a tough group of a**holes. Second-in-command under my dad, who is now dead, thanks to Troy. Anyway, I was run out by walkers after a fight with Troy. That a**hole murdered my little brother and later got my dad killed. I was alone after that." LeRoy said.
"So that's how Troy became leader?" Tara asked.
"I guess so. Amanda, my sister I guess couldn't handle losing our dad and both her brothers. I went to the prison with Amanda and managed to get some payback. Good riddance to him. I met Glenn and Wyatt afterwards when I was searching the prison for supplies." LeRoy said.
"Just because you killed someone for killing your family doesn't mean you're not a good person. It's called justice." Abraham said.
"The Night Raiders killed. We killed people for their things. Not a very nice bunch of people. I know what I've done." LeRoy said.
Rick, Michonne, Luke, and Carl were walking along the train tracks. "Crazy cheese?" Carl asked Michonne, offering the canister.
"I'm good." Michonne said.
While walking, the four of them came across a sign on a train car. It read 'Terminus. Sanctuary for all. Community for all. Those who arrive survive'. They all looked at eachother.
"Should we go?" Luke asked.
"What do you think?" Michonne asked Rick.
Rick hesitated before answering. "Let's go." He said.
The 4 of them continued down the tracks.
I hope you guys enjoyed this episode. I did it all in one day! That rarely happens! And if you didn't notice(I'm sure you did), two of the claimers, Danny and Nate, are from 400 Days. I just thought it might be a good idea. The next episode might be shorter than all the rest due to the fact that it's a Daryl and Beth episode and I really can't think of what Kenny and the others could be doing for a while episode. Please tell me what you think by leaving a REVIEW! :)
