I can't tell you the number of times I've gone to reread something that I have written but couldn't even understand what I was trying to say.

Jared hurried as fast as he could to Sam and Emily's house. 'Leah with a leech, it's like she wants us all to hate her'.

Jared made it to his Alfa's house, he transformed back in to his human form and throw his shorts back on.

Jared hoped Emily wasn't home because he wasn't sure how his Alfa would respond to what he had just found out.

'if she's home I'll try and get Sam outside and tell him then. we don't need the other side of Em's face all scared up. but of course, if it did happen and the rest of Em's face matched the other side it would be because of the bitch. I bet Lee didn't even imprint on a bloodsucker, and this is all just some fucked up scam to ruin their upcoming wedding. Yeah, that's right…. I think that god damn harpy would go as low as fucking a leech to make Sam crazy. Why wouldn't she?. I bet she's been planning this ever since leaving Sam pack and joining Jakes. I bet she had chosen one of the Cullen's to be her pray, but when we got the infestation she jumped for joy. She now had her pick to choose from… her own personal morgue. Sleeping around with one of them would no doubtable cause a stir. Hell, she probably wanted to war, to begin with. and Emily…. Poor Emily who hast to be related to her. poor Emily who hast to deal with her just to love Sam'. he shook his head and let himself in. "Sam!". he called.

"yep". He called back coming down the stairs.

'god, he looks ruff'. Since yesterday Sam had phased. he'd let his pack in on what he had done to Leah right away. Feeling absolutely terrible. Jared and Paul were understanding, Telling him that Leah had pushed him to the limit. And that it wasn't really his fault. 'it isn't like he'd meant to do it. it's not like he went after her on purpose. And it's not like she's a normal chick anyway. I bet she didn't even feel it, hello…. She's a wolf just like the rest of us. even if he'd left a mark it would be gone in seconds right. She should just get over it. the bitch shouldn't have antagonized him. now I'm not saying what he did what right….. you shouldn't hit chicks. But Leah isn't a chick. She's a fucking werewolf. Hitting her is like hitting one of us guys… wouldn't do much damage. And she should know Sam hadn't meant to. it isn't no secret that Sam can be hot-headed… hell they were together for a few years you'd think she knew. "you look like crap".

"yeah". Sam said sarcastically.

"Emily here?".

"Nope. She went out to the market".

"good, that's good".

"why's that?".

"okay Sam….. you may want to sit down". 'here we go'.

"why?".

"Sam…. just sit down….. I got something to tell you…. anddd well shit this one isn't an easy one".

"Jared…..".

"it's about Leah". the other wolf quickly said.

Sam went figured. "what?... is she alright?...did she go to the elders?... about what I did?".

"I don't think so….. this is about something else".

"Jared…". He come over and stood by the kitchen table in the middle of the room.

"Sam please just sit….".

"don't tell me to sit down Jared and just tell me already!". the Alfa said through his teeth. "what's going on".

"she's screwing a leech". He said as fast as he could.

Sam's eyes went wide. "bullshit".

"it's not bullshit Sam, I heard it…".

"then you heard wrong. Leah hates vampires more than she hates me…". he stopped himself once he heard what he had said. "or at least did". Sam thought back to the day before, with a sickly feeling of regret. 'if I could take it back. he thought as he shook his head. "I'm sorry I can't… I can't believe that". he crossed his arms. "it just doesn't sound like her, how can you expect me to believe…".

"Sam I'm not messing around here I mean it. Leah is with a vampire. Look all I know is his name is Alistair and that he's at Billy's". Jared continued to talk but at this point, Sam was getting lost in his own mind. thinking about whether or not it was true or not.

'no, no, no, no, no this isn't happening. It couldn't be happening, not with vampires. She wouldn't with a vampire. Knowing her she'd rather be dead than with a leech. What Jared's telling me just doesn't make any sense. Is this a joke?... is this some sort of a sick joke?. Is he telling me this because of what I did to Leah yesterday?. Maybe Paul called Rachal, and she had him put Jared up to this. To get back at me for hitting a girl. Maybe this is their way of punishing me for what I had done. Well…. It had to be…. Because like I just said Lee, Lee would never be with a vamp….'. within a flash, Sam's mind went back in to the day before. Remembering what Leah had said to him, and the conversation they had, had.

"fine Sam…. ya gonna make me come out and say it. I imprinted!. yes, that's right… me Leah fucking Clearwater can be loved after all. she may not die alone yet. She finally has someone to be miserable with her. yep, the miserable harpy has dragged somebody down with her and they're staying down".

Her words kept repeating in his mind.

'she didn't imprint on a block sucker….she can't be in love with one.

'she didn't imprint on a leech, there's no way she'd do that. no, no, no, no, no not my Leah. she'd find a way to resist it. Leah wouldn't just let herself full for one of them. she's stronger than that.

'she finally has someone…. But she didn't say who that someone was'. he realized. Then he remembered something else that had been said. in fact, it was a question he had asked her.

"so…. he knows?... he knows everything?. werewolf's… Vampires". He remembered the way she had laughed in to her hands once he had said, vampires.

"Ohh yeah, he knows about vampires".

Sam sucked in deep.

"Ohh yeah, he knows about vampires".

'the way she laughed when she said that….. the look she gave me….. like she knew something I didn't'.

For a second Sam came back in to reality long enough for himself to hear Jared say something.

"I'm sure she's just doing it to get back at you for Emily. You sleep with Emily so she sleeps with leech". Jared made a face. "I'm sure she didn't really imprint… there's just no way".

'how…how….how dare she'. He saw red. In a flash of rage, he brought his fist down and smashed the kitchen table. "HOW DARE SHE".

Jared stepped away from his Alfa just in case Sam was about to explode.

"Billy's". he said quietly.

"what?".

"Billy's…. you said he's at Billy's…..why?". Sam was talking dangerously low and slow.

"I…. I don't know". he scratched the back of his head. "look I'm sure the elders don't know anything about his. we should just go to them and….".

"no".

Jared inhaled deeply. "no?"

"….. we're going to Billy's…".

The black household.

"Sam…". Leah stood up and turned around. she knew her Ex had already seen the tracker but made no move to move away from her vampire. Alistair stood up behind her and made eye contact with the other Alfa.

"shut up Leah". it was amazing that Sam had been able to keep it together for this long and not turn. Normally he would not have been able to turn back from being in his wolf form, while in such a rage. But he wanted to face Leah as a human and see it through his human eyes. He wanted to see her turn her back on her kind through his eye and not the eyes of the wolf.

"Sam..". she tried again, biting her lip hard trying to ignore him telling her to shut up.

"SHUT UP". he suddenly yelled.

"what's….. the….. plan… Sam?". she asked slowly. Pushing down her need to phase. 'If I phase he's gonna phase and all hell well break lose'. She barely noticed Jared in the background behind his Alfa.

"why?".

"Sam….. please don't ask me questions we both know no one can answer".

"why him?".

"Are you asking me or yourself?".

"you!". he pointed to the tracker. Sam had to hold himself together even harder once he realized what colour the vampire's eyes were. "why…. are… you…. here?".

Without saying anything Alistair put his arms around Leah's shoulders and rested his head on top of hers. "because I can be..".

"Leah….".

"Sam….. he's my imprint".

"no…. he's…. not".

"yes he is and Emily is yours, so leave it alone okay".

"leave it alone". He laughed. "you really think…. I'm gonna leave… a vampire on my Rez, my home alone. we both know I would never do that. and we both know he can't be here….. the elders…".

"The elders know everything. Who do you think gave us the okay for him to be here".

That shut Sam up….. but only for a moment. "you're a liar…. You're a filthy liar. The elders aren't stupid….. they'd never let a cold one live on our land…".

"they would if I imprinted on him".

And that's what did it.

Sam phases right in to his big black wolf. Just outside of the doorway. on instinct, she phases as well but not before pushing Alistair out of the way.

Leah pounced through the door and on to Sam. knocking him back a few yards, now that Leah wasn't in Sam's pack she couldn't communicate with him through the link. But that didn't matter to her. 'isn't like he never listened to me anyway'.

"Leah what's happening?". Quil asked all of a sudden.

"get Jake". was all she said, taking a swipe at Sam.

"Lee I'm on my way". Embry's voice suddenly said. he was in his wolf form as well. "Quil go get Jake".

Quil began to sprint to the Cullen's place, as Embry's went in the other direction.

This time it was Sam who pounced on Leah, but Leah retaliated by digging her claws in to his neck.

Alistair ran out of the house and his first instinct was to help his mate. he charged in the direction of her but was stopped by Jared. Who tackled him to the ground. "going somewhere?".

The tracker kicked the wolf in the stomach sending him backward. He got up again but Jared recovered and was on him again. but this time in his wolf form.

'ooh bugger it all to hell'.

Leah heard the commotion before she saw what was happening. She kicked Sam away from her and tried to get to her mate. only for Sam to bite in to her lower back. she howled and knocked him away from her. turning and swiping at his face. Leah looked back again to see Alistair and Jared rolling around on the ground. 'shit'. She wanted to yell out to him but knew her leech wouldn't have been able to understand her unless she was in her human form. But didn't want to risk not being able to defend Alistair.

amassed all the growling and snarling Leah turned again to lunged at her Ex again. this time getting a good shot at him. she swung at him knocking him to the ground then jumped on jumping on him. biting at his neck and chest.

The tracker was doing well, getting in a few good punches and kicks. But du to isolating himself for years and years on end…. he'd actually never through a werewolf before…. And it wasn't going well. Every time Alistair would get up and try to make it to his mate Jared would pull him back down again and again and again.

'HOLY SHIT'. Embry arrived and went straight for Leah and Sam, but the she wolf stopped him.

"no, go to Alistair". She shouted at him, while trying to rip off one of Sam's ears. But the Alfa pushed himself up from under her so they were both in the air. Then landed back down on top of her with a loud thud.

"shit". Embry turned and charged for Jared, who looked like he was about to take the tracker's head off. Embry smacked into Jared and they both went flying. Giving time for the English vampire to get back up. without hesitation Alistair practically flow over to Leah, where Sam was on top of her. he noticed that the black wolf had his paws on top of her chest, he could tell that Sam was putting all his weight on her. the tracker got on top of the Alfa and wrapped his arms around him. with only his mate in mind he pulled Sam off of her and throw him to the side. he heard a loud yelp but paid no mind to it.

"love?". Alistair got down next to her. "talk to my love".

Without meaning to she transformed back in to her human form. She gasped heavily and began to cough. "the… cough, cough, cough…. Fucker fucking tried to cough, cough to….. choke me".

He took off his jacket and throw it over her.

Alistair looked back to make sure Sam wasn't charging at them again. only to see him in his human form on the wet grass clutching his arm. Embry was holding off Jared. They weren't fighters Embry was just in front of the other boy blocking his path to get past. He turned his attention back on to his mate.

Not a second later, Jacob, Quil, and Seth come out of the woodlands. Seth was the first to turn back. "LEAH". Seth yelled running over to her. the other two transformed a second after he did. Her younger brother made it to her and got down next to her. by this time she had stopped coughing and was just focusing on breathing. "are you okay?, did he hurt you?, I'll kill him". he whipped up his head at the tracker. "where the hell was you Ha?".

"Seth….". deep breath. "don't get mad at….". another deep breath. "him". the she wolf sat up. "he was". deep breath. "too busy with Jared".

The younger wolf looked over to see every else in their human form. Jacob went over to Sam and was cheeking him out.

"I think it broke my arm". He hissed out through his teeth.

"you'll be fine". Jacob pattered his shoulder making Sam yell out in pain. "Lee you good?". Jacob called over to his beta.

"fine!". She called back over to him. "Alistair help me up". Leah reached for him only to be lightly pushed back in to the ground by her brother.

"you should stay down, I can get Carlisle, you should be checked out". Seth was working himself up.

"don't get all hot and flustered puppy". She brushed him off. "he didn't hurt me too badly. Isn't like he could anymore anyway". The she wolf scoffed trying to get up again. Seth tried to block her again.

"Are you sure?... it's just you don't look so good and…".

"Ohh bless ya, Seth". She pushed him away from her and took Alistair's hands. The tracker helped her up and she fixed his coat he had given her around her body, zipping it up.

"you". Seth got up and slapped Alistair in the arm with the back of his hand. "why aren't you over there killing Sam after what he'd just done?".

"because I'm over here looking after my mate". the tracker says dryly as if it wasn't obvious to the younger boy.

"well, I can look after my own sister".

As much as Seth's overprotective behavior was unneeded, Leah was actually touched by it.

"kid, does it seem like I care what you're capable of?". the vampire once again says dryly.

"Alistair". Jacob said coming over to them. "why don't you take Leah back to her place". He looked over his shoulder back at Sam. "I'll take care of this one". his tone noticeable dropped.

"what's gonna happen to him, Jake?". Seth asked glaring at his former Alfa.

Jacob and Leah made eye contact.

"nothing puppy". His sister finally said.

"what?". Both Seth and the vampire asked at the same time.

"love he attack you". Alistair asked with a deep frown. "he tried to hurt you and have his lucky kill me, why wouldn't anything happen to him?".

"because we need him for Ness….. and I also pounced on him first…".

The vampire cut him off. "yeah you pounced on him first because he was going to….".

"Alistair". She placed one hand on the side of his face. "fights like that happened between us wolves all the time".

"excuse you". he gestured to the state she was in. then made another gesture towards Jared then himself.

"I want to kill him too". She then placed the other hand on the other side of his face. "I really….. really want to kill him….. but….. we have to let the elders deal with him".

Alistair looked past his mate to see the man who just attacked her. the vampire watched as Sam rolled on the wet ground in pain, grabbing at his arm, pain clearly pasted all over his face. the tracker then glanced over to the wolf who had to attack him. to now see him and Embry glaring daggers at one another. For the last time, he shifted his red eyes back over to Sam. 'can't deny that seein' the tosser thrivin' on the grass in agony doesn't make me want to spit on him then laugh….. if only I had spit'. He gloomily thought. "will they do something?. And I don't mean givin' him a slap on the wrist I mean really do something?". 'he attacked my mate, of course, I want to rip his throat out….. with my teeth. I have a feeling that every time I close my eyes from now on you'll see the way he looked at her. as if she had horribly betrayed him as if she had slept with his father in front of him then spat in to both of his eyes.

"they'd have to. the elders wouldn't let anything like this slide. You can't just confront another wolf's and their imprint like that".

The tracker was quiet for a long second, then Alistair's eyes moved to hers. "why are you being so calm about this?. I'm surprised you haven't phased back while he's vulnerable so you can rip him limb from limb".

Leah bit her lip. then the truth was a part of her felt happy when Sam show up at her door. it meant that he knew and it meant that Sam showing up the way he did meant that there was going to be some sort of a fight.

And she was ready for it.

And she was ready for it the second she realized that what she and Alistair had was real. Imprinted on someone else was one thing even then she knew that because her tracker was a vampire Sam would never accept that.

But she wanted to believe he would.

The she wolf wanted to believe that like Jake and Nessie he could see past the leech thing and obey their rules.

But it was her.

And the way he had acted the day before solidified what she already knew was coming.

Leah felt the urge to touch the side of her face where he was hitting her. but didn't want to lead Alistair to have any suspicions. Thankfully he still hadn't noticed the mark on her cheek that was pretty much gone but now. the only evidence it ever existed was now a very light yellow mark, that would be gone before the end of the day.

'he wouldn't just let Alistair being a vampire go that easily. Sam is one of the most hard-headed people I know. once he clams down enough….. if he ever is able to calm down from this?. The first thing he is going to do is go to the elders and do a deep, deep search in to our people's history. He'll put his blood sweat and tears in to finding a way to break the imprint. He'll say he's doing it for me…. then I'll ask him to break the imprint with Emily if this is all for me, knowing he would never be able to. then because I wouldn't even consider leaving Alistair, not even for a moment, Sam would lose it all over again. so when he showed up at the door…. well….. it felt good to know that I may really get to sink my sharp teeth in to his skin and hear him cry out in pain. Fighting him would be my way of showing him that he couldn't come in to my life and demand I stop loving the person I was meant to love all because it made him uncomfortable. Plus anyway…. I need to stay in a calm state. Anything thing I do could set of Alistair. And as much as I hate Sam I don't want my imprint getting kicked off the Rez because of him. "because he isn't who I care about right now". she replied to her imprint. Leah lifted her hand up and gently grazed the side of his cold face. 'I'm not technically lying to him, he is the only one I care about right now. I just don't need to tell him the rest of the story at this time. "now come on". the she wolf grabbed his hand and held it tightly. "let Jake deal with this. And now that Sam knows…". she looked back at him. "we can go to my house now".

Later.

"so…. this is what the rest of your house looks like".

"we're only in the living room. Did you want to see the rest of the house?". She noticed that Alistair was looking around like he's never seen the inside of a family room before. 'he probably hasn't seen the inside of a living room in some time…. if not ever. And I'm not including the Cullen's place. I wonder how long it's been since she's been inside someone else's house. Did he live in a house before coming to the Cullen's?. I love him but I'm not gonna bullshit….. he looked homeless'. "what?... never seen the inside of a house before or what?". She asked him.

"it's not that…..". he looked back at her and smirked. "just 'haven't used a front door in a long time is all". he shrugged.

She scoffed and flopped down on the sofa. Leah pattered the spot next to her and the tracker immediately made his way over to her.

"I'm sorry Sam ruined our moment".

"are you really makin' me tell you, you don't 'ave to apologize for that sod?". He raised his blond eyebrows at her. "it's a tad pointless don't you think?".

"I feel like I have to".

"why?".

"because I didn't tell him sooner…. I maybe if I did he wouldn't have felt the need to come over and attack you…".

Alistair cut her off. "you mean to attack you". he hissed. "I very much drought he didn't even see me, he went straight for you…. I should be the one feelin' like utter shit. I couldn't get over to you in time because of his tosser friend?".

"no he went straight for you and I knocked you out of the way….".

He cut her off again. "okay, okay, okay none of this bullshit matters now. what matters is you understandin' that what he decided to do had nothing to do with you. so whatever he does… in the past or in the future….. not one bit of it is your fault. He choose to put his hands on you… he choose to not listen or care about you in that moment and he was the one who left you first. buggar it….. if he wants to play the victim card all he wants let the wanker. Because it has nothin' to do with us".

"I still feel like shit". She looked down for a moment to collect herself then but up again at her mate. "but thank you for saying it wasn't my fault… I don't get that a lot".

"of course I'm gonna tell you it wasn't your fault….. it wasn't your fault. I'm not a bullshitter….. I'm not one for beating about the bush".

"I know and that's why I love you?". she pecked him on the cheek. "so…..?".

"so what?".

"Tell me about those women from eight hundred years ago". She smirked and rested her head on the palm of her hand.

The tracker exhaled and throw his head back in defeat.

At the Cullen's.

"do you think we should call him?". Esme asked her husband. "I hate how everything ended last night. I feel so bad".

"I agreed, it didn't need to happen the way it did. It shouldn't have happened the way it did".

"We should have sat Amun down and probably told him not to do anything".

"well what's done it done". Carlisle and Esme were sitting in his office, away from all their house guest. 'I wish Alice hadn't left us. maybe if she had stayed she could have warned me about what would have happened between Amun and Alistair. Perhaps I could have prevented it sooner. And save Emmet and Rosalie from going in to town to get more windows. Though Amun and Kebi are responsible for their own actions, along with the Irish over and the rest of them. I still feel at fault for the entire situation. If I had acted sooner Alistair wouldn't have felt like he had to of left'. The doctor bit the inside of his cheek.

"do you think Alistair even consider coming back to us?".

"Unfortunately I believe those bridges have been burned". He put the pen he was holding down. "I think we should give him some time….. he's with Leah now anyway". Carlisle smiled at the thought of his long-time friend finally finding happiness with another person. "and I'm sure he's happy…. I really am".

"Carlisle!... Carlisle!". A voice called from outside. The doctor immediately got up with his wife following him and went to the window.

"what the hell". He said out loud to himself. looking down at the sight before. Him. because there was Jacob, holding a strained-looking Sam with Embry on the other side of them helping hold the werewolf upright. While an equally pissed-off-looking Jared behind them all with his arms crossed. "Jacob what happen?". He called.

"Sam happened". He said through his teeth, squeezing Sam's arm a little too tightly, making him hiss in pain.

"bring him up, come to my office".

Jacob nodded and began to drag Sam towards the door.

Esme turned to her husband with wide golden eyes. "what do you think happened?".

"I have a theory". He signed.

Ten minutes later.

"you do realize going after my beta and her imprint could get you kicked off of the Rez right?". Jacob barked at the other Alfa as the doctor fixed him up.

"stop calling it that…. it isn't possible". Sam grumbled.

"then explain how they can fuck each other without throwing in the act". Embry gave Sam a dirty look.

Sam hissed loudly because that was the moment Carlisle popped his arm back in to its socket. The other alfa glared daggers at the slightly younger boy. "it's never happened in our history".

"Hah…. Hello". Embry pointed at Jacob.

Sam looked down at the floor.

"can somebody please go through with us what actually happened today?". Esme pleaded, holding Sam in place so her husband could work on him.

"well dipshit over here". Embry gestured to Jared, who was leaning in the corner of the room frowning. "decided to Spy on us, he over hared us talking about Leah and Alistair, then when straight to Sam".

"is Leah okay?".

"yeah, Esme she's fine". Jacob replied softly. "no thanks to him". he spat. "honesty Sam what were you thinking going over there like that?. what if my dad was there?... what if he got hurt because of your hot-headed ass?".

"I didn't go over there to hurt shit". He growled.

"then explain how you ended up on top of Lean trying to choke her?". Sam flinched and Esme stepped away from him in shock of what he would do to his Ex. Jacob noticed the look on Esme's face. "don't worry Esme…. Like I said Lee's fine". Then he looked to the doctor. "so is Alistair". 'I knew he was gonna ask'.

"and if you didn't go over there to hurt anyone…. And when I say anyone I mean Alistair. Why was Jared trying to rip his head off when I got there". He glared at Jared, who glared right back. "I had to practically tackle your beta off of him…. do you remember that?".

"shut up Embry, you should of him Jared finish him".

"so you wouldn't get the blame for killing another wolf's imprint?. So you wouldn't be the one getting in trouble…".

"Alright everyone calms down". The doctor tried to intervene, but with no luck.

"Why are you so calm about right now Dr. Fang?. Isn't the other leech meant to be your friend or something?".

"Please, believe me, Embry…. If there's one thing I am right now". he looked straight in to Sam's eyes as he said this. "it isn't calm".

"you said you were gonna control them Carlisle. What happened to that Hah?, I thought we could trust each other?. I thought we had an understanding. You lied to me".

"Sam….". the doctor said softly but sternly. "I was not aware that Alistair had been going on to your lands to see Leah". the alfa huffed and turned away. "I only became aware of it not long after you told me, we still have an understanding. None of the other vampires…. Including my own coven will never go on to your land. I have no intentions of taking back my promise to you".

"I think it's a little too late for that Carlisle". Sam spat angrily. "the damage had already been done".

"yes the damage has been done, damage you caused yourself. you know your people's laws, you knew you had no right to go after Leah and Alistair". He said calmly. "they have just as much of a right to be together, just as you and Emily have the right, just as myself and Esme, just as Benjamin and Tia have".

"who the hell are Benjamin and Tia". Jared scoffed from the corner but was ignored by the rest of the room.

"you can't tell another person how to be happy because it makes you sad".

"it doesn't make me sad". Sam shook the doctor off of him and ruffly got up from his chair. "it doesn't make me sad leech….. it disgusts me to no end. in fact it's sickening to even think about".

"well, then you're in luck Sammy because it isn't your life it is". Jacob barked at him.

"you think this is the end don't you?".

"It has to be Sam". Charlie stood up, trying to control his voice. "because I don't very much believe that Jacob, his pack, her bother… and myself. Would let you do anything to them. you don't get to….".

"no, you don't get to bloodsucker". Sam growled.

"Sam you best calm yourself". Jacob stood in front of the doctor.

"JACOB…..". Sam forced himself to calm down. "Jacob….. he is a vampire…. With your beta".

"This is really starting to get repetitive Sam". Embry should his head. "we all know. we are all well aware what he is…. and guess what….. none of us care".

"don't think you have any choices here Sam. you can't go to the elders they already know everything. You can't go back to Leah or Alistair…. because now you know what will happen to you. if you do anything to them you know damn well who in their corner".

Sam's eyes flashed around the room.

"are going to be spending the rest of your life with. the women who you are gonna be having kids with one day, the women who you left Leah for….. and try to be happy okay. because you know…. and I know, that's there will never ever be a point in trying to break them up…. because it's never gonna happen".

"and if she gets pregnant?".

"never gonna happen Sam. we all know she can't..".

"well I didn't think she could stand to fuck a vampire either…. But it turned out I was wrong".

"well I don't know what you want me to say Sam". Jacob throw his arms up. "she told me, she told all of us she could have kids..".

"may I step in here". the doctor stepped ford. "for as long as I've known Alistair, I knew he's never wanted kids, in fact for him that was the one good thing about becoming a vampire. And as long as Leah can't have them I don't think you'll have to worry too much".

"and even if she could….. we'd support her to no end". Jacob crossed his arms.

"Why are we even talking about this". Embry scoffed. "Sam just trying to come up with any excuse now isn't he. Because he knows where right. He knows he hadn't got any leg to stand on…. don't you".

Sam moved towards the younger wolf but Jacob easily got in his way. "think about that Sam. think about where you are".

Jared crossed the room to stand behind his alfa.

After a moment Sam shook his head. "no….. there's gonna be something that could stop all this shit".

"take it from a guy who's already been there and tired that. if someone says they don't love you…. you gotta let it go man. It isn't healthy and it isn't gonna get any better".

"what?... you mean you and Bella?".

"yeah I mean me and Bella. I made everyone around me miserable because I couldn't have something I wanted. Because I wouldn't let myself believe her when she told me what I wanted".

"worked out good for you though right?". Sam said nastily. "you got her daughter, I'll sleep with the love of your life's kid one day".

It took everything inside of Jacob not to react because he knew that was what Sam wanted. "and it all worked out for you to didn't it?... you got her cousin. you've gotten the love of your life's cousin and have slept with her already so if you think your gonna judge me your wrong… also Bella is not the love of my life so shut up".

"Ohh what I'd give to…".

"Sam it's time to go". The doctor stepped in the middle of them. "I've fixed your arm, leave my house please".

Sam looked to Jared and made a motion with his head to follow him. "like I said…. this isn't the end". he turned away from them all and opened the window. He looked at Jake one last time an ugly sheer and jumped followed by his beta.

"are they really alright?". Esme asked again.

"yes Esme, I promise they're fine… I'm not lying".

She nodded and stood next to her mate.

"I've changed my mind….". Carlisle spoke, and his wife looked up at him. "perhaps I will give Alistair a call".

Hi all, I'm sorry I haven't updated in a few months. I thought I was doing okay but it turns out the death of my father hit me a lot more than I thought. And I just really haven't been having an easy time, and I'm just not in the best place.

I'm gonna try to work on Angler as soon as I can. And I also started a new Alistair story called the killer I fell in love with. so please, please, please check that one out and comment, id love to know what you guys think about it.

I was originally gonna work on my new story today but just wanted to get this chapter finished already, because in the comment I saw that a few of you guys wanted me to update and I didn't want to keep you guys waiting any longer. I am sorry cos this chapter I think is a little shorter than the other, but like I said I just wanted to get it out there.
