Remus was exhausted, a feeling he should have been familiar with since he'd carried it all his life, but somehow the sleepless nights doubling because of his precious child had only managed to weaken him now when that's what he was fighting for. He tried to dance away from the next spell, but even as it flew over his head he crumpled to the ground, seeing a flash of pink racing towards him.
