Mello noticed Matt come in late. He was just done with setting up his date with Nevermore. This made the blond poke his head up. "Hey how'd the date go?" he asked Matt. Matt relayed that his blind date had been sheltered and had got in a fight with a girl with robin's egg blue hair who wore black leather and had pale skin. The blond's eyes widened. "Umm, your blind date just tried to fight my blind date" The best friend replied making the redhead rub the back of his neck in embarrassment.

He went to his computer and opened up the website. He saw Jinx and that she was a punk who liked pink. He was at a loss but decided to have the date at a burger joint. "Hey Mells where you taking yours?" he asked.

"I'm taking mine to the library she seems to like books and read any language. Wammy's would be perfect for her but you know the rules so I'm taking her to the public one the sides it's a small cafe which has teas." The blond looked at his friend's computer. "Try the races girls like her love horses." the blond suggested making the redhead sigh in relief.

"Thanks Mells" he replied before going to bed. The Blond followed suit. He would be free soon, after all, tomorrow was Thursday and after that, Friday was the last day before the weekend and the school gave up hope of teaching during the weekends. The smart kids could also only behave so long before they made the teachers fear their sanity.

They woke up and did classes and headed out to their room. Mello was brushing his hair. He almost panicked when he thought he lost his card but one tap and the feel of cardboard made him feel relief. So far the dates were going good but anything could happen. One of the worst he could think of would be losing his card. He saw Matt taking a shower. He then left with five minutes to spare.

Nevermore didn't need a paper she was distinctive with her dark blue cloak and black leotard that shown her chest. She was not as racy as Ember but not as shy as Hotaru. He looked at her legs which were pale and had dark blue, ankle, boots as well. There were also little red circular gems in areas.

"Quoth the raven, Nevermore" Mello said making a reference but she looked up toward him from her book.

"You must be Chocolate and blood" she said looking from her book eyeing the blond as she let the book stay in her lap and took off the cloak exposing the blond to more of her exotic looks. Her hair and eyes were violet

"I'm called Mello."

"My name is Raven. Shall we start Mello?" she asked getting up and closing the book. He noticed that this one was a book of old German fairytales. He knew she could read german but he decided to see if she could speak it. It had been a while since he spoke his mother tongue.

"Ja" he replied and headed to the cafe. He decided to see if she'd respond back because writing is different from speaking it too.

"Gut" she replied back now showing she was a polyglot like him. He felt bad that he couldn't take her back with him because she'd fit in perfectly there. He then took her to the cafe where they both sat together and a kid knocked over a bookshelf while running.

"That's the most graceful performance I saw" Mello replied sarcastically. Raven laughed.

"Your funny" she replied and picked up the menu of different teas. She selected an herbal green while he chose a chocolate chai. The waiter brought them both cups of tea. "That taste good?" she asked The blond passed her the cup their hands brushing giving that electric feel. She took a sip and passed it back nodding. He smiled and they talked about languages they knew which other than german, Latten and English the other didn't know.

"Sanskrit oh man that's crazy I don't know any of that even if it's like the oldest living language."

"It took me years and even then I still get the old and new mixed up so I sometimes order in old Sanskrit and well it brings some confusion or I might get confused when reading old because I got it mixed up with new" They sipped on their tea and then he paid for both of their teas.

They went looking at books together and Mello suggested a few which she picked up. He picked up a few she suggested. He noticed she often hesitated at certain really dark books. He couldn't tell if it was cause she was hiding interest or if some of those dark books were bringing back bad memories.

They headed to a nice couch and read side by side. This time she was reading the story of red riding hood. They enjoyed the quiet company of each other reading the same book before they got a warning that the library was closing in a few minutes. They checked out the books and then left for their places.

When Mello got to his room, he saw Matt was there. Matt looked like he had bought a new cell phone. Mello stepped over and peaked. "You hack a bank or something?" he asked. The redhead shook his head.

"Nah I just won at the races was all I was looking at the tech and I guess a little at the horses. She enjoyed them and well I accidentally picked a horse that no one else betted on. I was meaning to choose another possible one. Well, that horse ended up winning because the other horses tripped. We went shopping after winning and I got a new phone as well as games. She got some clothes, a necklace, and a cell phone. I don't see this one as the one for me cute but Nah. She might appear for you. Jinx was her name really too." He said before both rated their dates as great. Matt chose no second and got a pop up that said that they apologized and would inform the other person they were not a match.

They each then got their next candidates. Matt got Evil green and Mello got School_Stinks. Mello had to laugh at the name but agreed school did stink especially his. He chose a castle tour for this date. Matt chose a science center for his date and both went to bed.
