Seven years after Ezra saved Lothal, Sabine, Ahsoka, and Rex finally find him on Csilla, the Chiss homeworld. Hoping to bring their friend home, things don't go exactly as they plan because the Chiss are at war and Ezra already has attachments that he can't bear to leave. Sabine changes her plans instead to be with him. Lemons, fluff, adventure, and family stuff.

As Imperial power tightens in the Outer Rim, many groups take it upon themselves to fight the Empire. One of them is a ship full of veterans who remembered times where their names were only whispered between other units. Recent fights against Empire forces them to lay low while five veterans are sent to find help in their fight. One of them helped a child that led them to rebels.

When Kanan finds a young child alone on the streets, he and the Ghost crew take him in as one of their own. Young Ezra is full of scars, physically and mentally, that the crew must help him work through along the way. The whole crew must adjust to their new life with a child in the mix while continuing their dangerous work as rebels.

Stranded in the Unknown Regions without enough fuel to return to Imperial Space, Grand Admiral Thrawn is left with one option for survival: to return to his home, the Chiss Ascendancy. In order to navigate uncharted space he makes an unholy alliance with Ezra Bridger, promising him information on a threat to the entire Galaxy he and his friends could have never possibly imagined...
