When the bus landed Ward approached Skye again when they were in the cargo bay.
"So, we got a week off," Ward stated.
"Yeah, I think Coulson needs it," Skye said.
"He'll be fine," Ward said.
"I hope so," Skye said.
Ward looked at Skye for a moment, and at that moment the cargo door lowered.
"So, do you have any plans?" Ward asked.
Before Skye could respond there was a shout.
"SKYE!"
Both Ward and Skye looked down the ramp, a blond woman stood at the bottom with a grin on her face.
"Bobbi, what are you doing here?" Skye asked, while she knew Bobbi was at the base she hadn't expected Bobbi to come to the Bus.
"You're not happy to see me, I am wounded," Bobbi teased, walking up to Skye and Ward.
"Of course I am," Skye said, smiling at Bobbi and giving her a hug.
Ward cleared his throat getting their attention.
"You must be Agent Ward," Bobbi said, straightening her back staring at Ward and pulled Skye closer to her.
"I am, and I am guessing you are Agent Morse," Ward said in a monotone voice.
"Yep, and Skye's soulmate," Bobbi said, giving Skye a kiss on the cheek, and a nozzle on the side of Skye's head, or that was what it looked like to Ward. Bobbi was telling Skye to play along, but Skye hadn't needed to be told, Ward had begun to really creep her out. She was happy to play "romantic soulmate" with Bobbi if it got Ward to leave her alone.
"So I've heard," Ward muttered, glaring at Bobbi.
Before anyone could say anything else, Fitz and Simmons came down the stairs.
"Agent Morse, hello, it is good to see you again. It has been a while," Simmons said, smiling at Bobbi.
"Hello to you too Agent Simmons, it is good to see you too, Agent Fitz," Bobbi greeted.
May and Coulson also joined them.
"Agent Morse," Coulson greeted.
"Are you and Skye going out?" he then asked.
"Hello sir, yes I saw that you guys have the week off, so I wanted to invite Skye to lunch," Bobbi said.
"That sounds nice," Coulson said, as Bobbi took Skye's bag that had been laying on the floor and started to drag Skye away.
"Bye guys, see you later," Skye said before letting Bobbi drag her away.
"Bye Skye," Simmons said back.
When Skye and Bobbi were far enough away, Skye sighed.
"Ward is starting to really bother me," Skye said.
"May has also started to notice, she called Maria and Sharon after your mission involving that Asgardian. Apparently Ward had told Lorelei something about his feelings about you," Bobbi said.
"Huh, May didn't tell me about that," Skye said more to herself than Bobbi.
"She probably didn't want to alarm you," Bobbi said.
"But she would alarm Sharon and Maria?" Skye asked.
Bobbi opened and closed her mouth trying to come up with something to say but couldn't, Skye had a smirk on her face at that.
"Ugh, shut up," Bobbi mumbled, at that Skye's smirk became a grin.
Skye was sitting with Peggy and Bobbi in the shared living room area. They were waiting for Sharon and Maria, she was not looking forward to the conversation that was about to take place.
"Is it too late to run?" Skye asked Peggy and Bobbi.
"Yes, it is," came Sharon's voice.
Skye winced.
"Damn," Skye whispered.
"Language," Steve said.
Every eye in the room went to the man.
"Uh no, what have I done," Steve whispered to himself, sensing the teasing he would receive when everyone else found out.
Bobbi seemed to realize something at that moment.
"What is Captain America doing here?" Bobbi said.
"He has joined Sharon's pack," Peggy answered as Steve sat down beside Skye.
"When did this happen?" Bobbi asked.
"The day Skye returned to the Bus," Maria said, sitting on Skye's other side and pulling Skye onto her lab; Sharon sat next to Peggy.
"How are you feeling about Friday and your first change Steve?" Skye asked.
"I feel a little nervous about it," He said.
"I was too, we all were Steve," Maria said.
"And now we have a conversation to be held about someone not thinking and being reckless," Sharon said, looking at Skye.
"Yeah yeah, let's just get it over with," Skye said, moving away from Maria's lap to sit beside her.
"We are only worried, I can't stand the idea of you getting hurt, you are still training," Sharon said from beside Peggy.
"I know, but I just can't sit and watch when I can do something," Skye said.
"We are not asking you to, but Asgardians and Centipede soldiers are not like normal people," Maria said.
"We are not like normal people, we can turn into big wolves," Skye said.
"That people aren't supposed to know about," Sharon said, trying to get Skye to understand that they were only worried about her and wanting her to be more careful as to not get seriously hurt.
"What Maria and Sharon are trying to say is that we want you to be careful, just as the rest of us are. Think and wait for backup, when it is required," Peggy said.
"Like Melinda told you too," Peggy then said, staring Skye down.
Skye swallowed and looked down.
"The next time we have this conversation, which I hope won't be needed, it will be a harder tone," Peggy said, Skye swallowed again and nodded.
"I understand, I will think about the situation, and not rush in. I'll wait for backup if needed or if told," Skye said.
"Good," Maria said, pulling Skye back onto her lap.
May and Fitzsimmons joined them two hours later. When they saw Captain America, they were just as confused as Bobbi had been, and when it was explained why he was there, they all looked to Skye.
"What? Just because I don't like secrets doesn't mean I can't keep them, my fellow wolves," Skye said, reminding them about the whole changing into wolves' thing. Fitz and Simmons looked down a little embarrassed that they forgot that they all could turn into wolves and May gave her a small glare, while Bobbi, Sharon, and Maria laughed.
Peggy was smiling, and Steve was feeling that he was missing something but was still amused.
"There is one more thing we need to talk about," Maria said, looking at Skye.
"What?" Skye asked, tilting her head to the side in question.
Sharon leaned closer to Skye, who was now sitting in front of her; Skye looked back at Sharon.
"Why didn't you tell us about Ward? We had to hear about his behavior from May, Fitz, and Simmons," Sharon asked.
"Because it's nothing really, he is only a bit creepy, that's all," Skye said.
Maria looked like someone who wanted to say something but shook her head.
"Fine, but if he continues, I want you to call me, and tell Coulson that Ward is bothering you. His behavior is not okay," Maria said in her deputy voice.
"Yes ma'am," Skye said, to which Maria nodded.
The next three days Skye spent with Bobbi, May, Fitzsimmons, and Steve since he was still on rest days, but in contrast to Skye's rest days, Steve was actually resting. He wasn't on missions or anything, he was reading and watching movies and tv to catch up with the modern day.
She also spent the evenings with Maria and Sharon. Steve was kind enough to spend time with the others until they could soundproof his room a little more, since his already slightly enhanced hearing was now even more enhanced, he could hear what they were doing. He was embarrassed, but Skye was mortified when they had heard him run out one night yelling "lalalalala."
Maria and Sharon thought it was funny, so did Bobbi, the next day when they found Steve on one of the couches in the shared living room area.
They made an agreement until the new alterations were made, Peggy had decided that all of the rooms would get an upgrade regarding soundproofing.
It was now Friday, the day of Steve's first change, and Skye, Maria, Sharon, and Steve were sitting on the floor in the small gym in Sharon's area. Sharon had just explained to Steve that this first time it was just them in their wolf forms, that way they could get to know each other's wolf form.
Skye and Maria changed first, Sharon was guiding Steve, it took a little while before Steve got it. His form was a light grey with black around his eyes and ears, he was big for a puppy, like half of Skye's size.
"Aw man, he is going to be bigger than me before he is even fully grown," Skye whined.
Maria mentally chuckled and nudged Skye with her head, causing Skye to fall onto her side, and ran away.
"It's not funny Maria," Skye growled at Maria and ran after her.
Steve looked at Sharon, having heard what Skye said, and Maria's chuckle.
"Skye is fully grown but she is smaller than the rest of us, and you are a lot bigger for your first change than anyone really," Sharon said.
"And this talking in each other's mind is really weird. I am glad you warned me," Steve said watching Skye chase Maria.
