Skye had been moved to the Triskelion and was waiting for Coulson and Ward. Fitzsimmons and May were with her, they had agreed that they were also done with their fake mission and were `catching up'.
Maria and May had told her how both Coulson and Ward had thrown a fit when they had been told they were being sent out on a mission.
She could understand them, the last time they had seen her she was whisked away after receiving a miracle drug that they knew little about, only that it had brought Coulson back to life. Simmons had also told her that Colson had come running and screaming about not to give it to her.
All the wolves knew about the drug after Skye had received it, before that only a few of them knew about it, but most of them didn't know more than it saved Skye, and Coulson was revived with it.
May told them that Sam had just texted her to tell her that she had just seen Coulson and Ward, so they would be there soon.
It wasn't long until there was a knock on the door and Colson and Ward came in.
"Hey Skye, how are you feeling?" Coulson asked, he looked relieved to see her. Ward also looked relieved, but there was something else in his eyes, Skye had no idea what it meant.
"Hey AC, I am still sore but otherwise I am fine," Skye said, Simmons fake coughed when Skye said she was fine.
"I am a lot better," Skye then said looking over to Simmons for approval, Simmons rolled her eyes but gave Skye a nod.
Coulson had observed the interaction with confusion and fondness.
"That is good to hear," Coulson said.
Ward then came a little closer after he had looked around the room.
"I am sorry we couldn't be here, and that you were alone at the Hub, and then moved here, where you also were alone," he said, Skye gave him a weird look.
"Ward, I wasn't alone. Bobbi was with me the whole time, she just went out for a little while, so I could catch up with Fitzsimmons and May," Skye said, it was a part of the cover and Bobbi should be arriving soon to prove that.
"Ah okay," Ward grumbled, crossing his arms like a kid who was told no, Coulson didn't seem to notice since he was only looking at Skye.
"Have you been debriefed yet?" Coulson asked.
"Yes, you should have a report in your inbox," May answered.
"Hm, and how would you know," Ward asked, May narrowed her eyes on him.
"Because I have one," May answered, Ward didn't say anything to that, and Coulson gave Ward a look that told him to calm down.
"How long will you be bound to the bed?" Coulson asked.
"I am already doing physio, so it won't be long before I can get up and out of here, and get some real food, and have my snacks for myself without someone taking them," Skye said, giving Simmons a look at the last part.
"Your body can't handle all that junk yet," Simmons said in a scolding voice, Skye looked down at that.
"How did you even get that?" Fitz asked.
"I have my ways," Skye answered sweetly.
Just then there was a knock and Bobbi came in with a smile on her face and a paper bag in one hand.
"Can I come in?" Bobbi asked.
"Yes," Skye answered, while Ward muttered a no too low for anyone to hear, but everyone in the room, minus Coulson heard it, the wolves pretended to not have heard Ward.
Bobbi came over to Skye's side and gave her a kiss on the cheek, May watched as Ward clenched his fists and stared daggers at Bobbi.
Skye moved a little so Bobbi could sit beside her on the bed, Skye then looked down at the paper bag.
"Did you bring contraband?" Skye asked, Bobbi smirked.
"Maybe? Depends on what the warden says," Bobbi said, handing the bag over to Simmons who rolled her eyes and looked in the bag.
A moment later she handed it back to Bobbi.
"Well?" Bobbi asked, again Simmons rolled her eyes and shook her head.
"It's fine, BUT in small amounts," Simmons said.
Bobbi smiled and sat the bag down on Skye's lap, Skye looked in it, first she pulled out a small box of chocolates then two cans of cactus coolers, and finally a stuffed animal, and not just any animal it was a wolf, Skye smiled and leaned into Bobbi.
"Thank you, Bobbi," Skye said.
"Anything for you," Bobbi said.
"Ahem," Coulson cleared his throat, he had been watching them joke around. Skye seemed fine, he was still worried about the drug, but it didn't seem that Skye had suffered, like he had.
"Sorry AC, did you say something?" Skye asked, Coulson gave her a smile.
"No, it's okay, you two just seem cozy," he said.
"Yeah, we have gotten a lot closer," Skye said.
"I am glad to hear that," Coulson said.
"How have you two been? Had fun without us?" Skye asked Coulson and Ward.
"Nah, no fun, it was boring as you kids would say," Coulson said, smiling at Skye.
"That's both a shame and good right?" Skye asked.
"Absolutely," Coulson answered.
They talked for about a minute or two, before Ward spoke up, he had been glaring at Bobbi and glancing at the wolf that Skye had on her lap.
"So why a wolf?" he asked, his voice sounded like he disapproved of it.
"What, wolves are cool, I like them very much," Skye said, defending Bobbi's gift.
"I didn't know you liked them?" Ward said, backpedaling a little.
"That is because we haven't talked about what animals we like," Skye said, becoming annoyed with him.
Sam, who also had been moved to the Triskelion again, came in and said that Skye needed rest, and everyone needed to leave.
Once it was just her and Sam, Skye sighed and rubbed her face with her hand.
"You okay? Fitz, Bobbi, Mel, and Jemma all mind linked Victoria, and asked her to send me in to get Ward out of here, I heard what he said," Sam said.
"Yeah, he is just so ugh, I don't know what his deal is," Skye said.
Sam made a sympathetic sound, then told Skye to rest.
A week later Skye was cleared for light duty work, and that also meant she could go back to the bus. Maria and Sharon weren't happy about it. When she spoke to Pepper and Tony, they had told her the same thing, and begged her to be careful, well Pepper did most of the begging, and Skye promised she would be a hundred times more careful.
Bobbi was walking with her to the bus, she also refused to let her carry her own bag, and Skye had given up asking for it.
When they reached the hanger where the Bus was parked, Bobbi asked Skye again if she was sure she wanted to do this. Skye told her yes, she was, just for a short while, she didn't just want to leave, but Bobbi said no one would blame her if she wanted to shift to an office position. Skye had argued that she wasn't a real agent yet so there would be a limit on what she could do, so Bobbi let it go when they reached the ramp.
Ward was there doing some paperwork with one of the agents that had delivered supplies, Ward smiled when he spotted Skye.
"Hey Skye, welcome back again," He said.
"Thanks Ward," Skye said, coming to a stop in front of him with Bobbi beside her.
He was about to say something when Coulson came from around the corner.
"Skye, Agent Morse, just in time we have a mission, so you three get upstairs," He said walking away.
"What?" Skye said, turning to Bobbi, who was smiling at her.
"Surprise!" Bobbi said.
