AN: Hey, this is the last chapter of book one

Peggy had been trying to get a hold of Rick or Jonathan, but there was no point. They had all felt the break from the pack they had managed to do, it was the same feeling she had gotten when the original third pack disappeared.

This was a mess, Victoria was rambling about not going with the team to drop off Garrett, and if she had she could have taken both him and Ward out, but May was telling her otherwise, and that she could have gotten hurt or even died.

Peggy didn't know how this had happened, why Rick and Jonathan wanted to leave the pack or what they wanted with Skye. Besides what they had told Skye, she knew there were more, but when they found them she would get her answers. She just hoped they weren't too late. She didn't want to think about what they were doing to Skye, but they would be there soon, they were headed to Mexico.

Skye woke up with a groan, her head and neck were killing her.

"Well, look who is up," She heard Jonathan say, her eyes snapped open and she looked around, they were on the Bus, in the common room. She was laying on the couch with Rick and Jonathan in the chairs facing her.

They were looking at her like they had waited too long for her to wake up, especially considering the tone Jonathan's voice had when he made his comment about her waking up.

"Where are we going?" Skye asked when she noticed the plane was in the air. Rick just shrugged his shoulders and told her that it was none of her business, that she would find out when they got there. He and Jonathan then stood up and walked away, Rick throwing over his shoulder that she was to stay put, and since he used his Alpha voice she stayed put.

It wasn't long after that Ward showed up and sat beside her with a grin on his face.

"What do you want?" she asked, glaring at Ward, and moving a little away from him, she couldn't go far though, since Rick told her not to move away from the couch.

"Now come on here I came to tell you that we are going to share a bunk at the new base," Ward said, making eyes at her, she felt like she was going to be sick.

"Sadly, you will have to be alone for a weeks' time. Garrett and I have something to do first, but then I will come, and we can be alone, we both have a week off," Ward said moving closer to Skye and wrapping his arm around her, he even went as far as kissing her on her cheek, way too close to her mouth.

"Skye, come on, our Quinjet is here," Rick yelled from the stairs. Skye stood up preparing herself to go to Rick, but before she could go Ward stopped her by placing his arms around her, giving her a tight hug.

"I will miss you, and I can't wait for us to be alone," He said, breathing her in by burying his nose in her hair.

"SKYE, NOW! YOU CAN DO ALL THAT AND MORE WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND LATER, BUT WE HAVE TO GO NOW!" Rick yelled louder and with more force, Skye wanted to yell back at him, saying that Ward wasn't her boyfriend, or friend even, and she would have been there sooner if Ward hadn't stopped her, but she didn't, or rather she couldn't.

The Alpha bond with Rick was so different from Sharon's, Sharon's was warm and fuzzy and just nice, but with Rick it felt cold, and that there were chains around her wrists, ankles. and neck, just overall unpleasant.

And the thing with Ward wasn't making it better, she should have listened when her soulmates and May brought it up, she knew she couldn't do anything about that now.

She was quick to follow Rick up to the Quinjet, Jonathan was already there, he didn't even look up from what he was doing.

"Let's go," Rick said to the pilot who nodded and prepared to take off, it felt bumpy to take off from another plane.

The rescue party landed in a nearby desert close to the barber that Skye should be at, Peggy gathered everyone by the ramp to tell them the plan.

"Steve, Maria, Melinda, Natasha, Victoria, Sharon, Bobbi, and Trip will go in first. Tony will come in after to get everything from their computers. Jemma, Coulson, and I will provide backup and communication, you will leave in two minutes," Peggy said, every wolf plus Trip nodded.

"Peggy why am I not a part of the team that goes in first?" Tony asked with a tight voice, Peggy looked at Tony with a sad smile.

"Because Tony I know how you will react when you see them, knowing what they have done and will do with Skye, so you will come in when everyone has been dealt with," Peggy said.

"What about my girl's mates?" Tony asked.

"I can control them, you I cannot stop Tony. I know how you feel, I know you that well, you know that, so please Tony wait until we have everything under control. And, if it gets too much for us, you can come in guns blazing and all, deal?" Peggy said, it did pain her to keep Tony from going in to rescue Skye, but it had to be done.

"Okay deal, but I am not happy about it," Tony said, and you could see he wasn't happy.

Coulson watched the whole thing and he was speechless, the man he had thought was a man child at most times was being an adult.

Tony went the other way, but Peggy went in the same direction that Coulson was standing.

"Do you have something to say, Agent Coulson?" Peggy asked the man who she didn't know if she liked or not. She knew Melinda, Natasha, and Clint liked the man, and that was also the only reason she had allowed him to come.

"Um, this is a lot to process," was the thing he said.

"Yes, I can imagine it would be. Uh, I also sent Izzy and Kara to get all the information on the TAHITI project. Fury should never have made that project, you deserve the truth about that, Melinda wishes the same," Peggy said before walking away, Coulson stared after her. He wanted to talk to May, ever since he had been in that memory machine he had seen flashes that didn't make sense, he hadn't told anyone of course, but with what Peggy said, he knew May would know something about it.

But just as he found her, the ramp opened, and Peggy ordered them to move, he would have to talk to her after they got Skye back.

It wasn't even twenty minutes later that the group came back, they all had a few scrapes and bruises, and Trip had a limp and was being supported by Sharon.

It had been chaos the moment they realized that there wasn't anyone there, or that was until a dozen centipede soldiers blew down a wall and ran at them. Nat was quick to pull Trip with her to the lone computer in the room and used a USB drive with a program that Skye and Tony had made that would pull everything in seconds, that no one apparently knew about. Tony had explained that they wanted to wait until it was done to show it to everyone.

Nat had told Trip to pull the USB when it was done while she went to help Steve who looked like he was struggling, she had jumped and shifted midair sinking her teeth in the man who was on Steve's back.

Everything seemed to work out until Victoria found a bomb, which was about to blow, so they ran, just barely making it out. Melinda had the Berserker Staff in her hands that she had taken from one of the now dead soldiers.

"Where are they!?" Tony exclaimed when the ramp closed, and May went to get the plane in the air.

"We will find her, Tony," Victoria said, with steel in her eyes. Tony looked at Victoria sadly before he broke down, Victoria took Tony over to the seats, and they just sat there until they landed back in New York.

When they got back to the tower Tony and Fitz went to work on the information they got from the computer while the rest had a debrief and went to medical, May and Natasha disappearing.

It took them a few days to figure out that Garrett was the first Deathlok and that he was dying, they also learned where his HQ was. They made a new plan to take them down.

While the planning was going on Kara and Izzy came back, to say they didn't find Sam's body, and the police in the town Sam had been in didn't have her body either. There had been a big fight though, by the amount of blood, but they knew it was HYDRA, since they found a security camera across the street that had captured what went down.

The take down of Garrett was quick and fast, May and Natasha had captured Ward, and he didn't look too good. Mike Peterson was grateful to be free and that his son was safe again, but he didn't want his son to see him yet.

But sadly, there was no trace of Skye, or where Rick and Jonathan had taken her, and the surviving prisoners didn't know, or talk to them in Wards case.

Pepper was absolutely devastated, Tony didn't know how to help his wife through this again, hell, he didn't know how he could get through this again either.

Sharon and Maria were not any better, they and Bobbi had become closer again, trying to take some comfort from each other as best as they could. They spent most of their time together just sitting and talking and trying not to go to where they were holding Ward.

But as it turned out, Fury had wanted Coulson to be the next director, and everyone had said they were fine with it if Victoria and Maria became his deputies, which he didn't have a problem with, but until Maria got herself a little more under control she wouldn't be as involved.

Coulson had also yelled at Fury for the TAHITI project, and had gotten all the info on the Wolf Project.

Steve had finally told them that the Winter Soldier was his old friend Bucky and asked for help to find him. Coulson had agreed, afterwards though, he fangirled over the fact that Bucky Barns was also alive and told Steve they would find him too and help him.

Skye was following Rick and Jonathan into a small building somewhere, she had no idea where they were, and no one had offered to tell her.

"Ahh, Rick and Jonathan, welcome, it has been too long," a man said from behind a desk.

"Hello Danial, it is good to see you," Rick said with a smirk.

"And who is this?" he asked, gesturing to her.

"Uhh, no one really," Rick said. The man smiled at Rick in a way that looked odd to Skye and made her feel even more unsafe. It felt like something bad was about to happen, and she was right.

"Rick, you know I don't like being lied to," the man, Danial, said.

"What do you mean?" Rick asked, Skye could feel the fear from him.

"I know precisely who this extraordinary woman is, I have been looking for her for a long time," Danial said.

Then Danial gave a small sign and two shots rang out, Rick and Jonathan fell to the floor. Skye followed not long after, but she knew she wasn't shot, it was the combined effect of both Rick and Jonathan's deaths and that they were in the same pack as her. Her vision started to blur out, she didn't know what would happen when she woke up, and she didn't know what to do without an alpha.

The man, Danial, who had been apparently looking for her, came over to her, and kneeled.

"Don't worry child, while I am no wolf, we have a serum that will help you see me as your Alpha, but we can talk about that later, you must rest now, you will need your energy," he said, and no sooner was everything black.
