Alright so I finished this chapter. I hope you all are enjoying this. Thank you to the people who reviewed.

Anyway, on to the story!

Ch. 2

Demyx's water clones took out the remaining Heartless then disappeared. Demyx looked down and sigh, "I was hoping I wouldn't have to fill out much of a report...but now..." He trailed off, groaning about all the paperwork that was soon to be in his future.

The blue skinned girl, who had been watching Demyx finally spoke up, "It is you. I remember you."

"Huh?" Demyx said as he turned his attention back to the girl. "What did you say?"

The girl walked up to him again. "I said I remember who you are. We met once before, on this very beach. Do you remember?" she asked.

"Uh... We did? I'm not sure if I remember..." Demyx said, trying to think if he had seen her before.

The girl smiled, "It was years ago, when we were young. You saw me here sitting on the beach and you started talking to me," she said as she slowly put her hand around Demyx's wrist. She carefully took off his glove and dropped it on the sand, "You held out your hand to me and I placed my hand on yours like this." She put her hand on his, just like she had all those years ago.

The memory of that night came back to Demyx. He finally remembered it. "I-I remember. I remember you now. Wait... You never did tell me your name. What is it?"

"Oh yeah. We can finally have a proper introduction. My name is Shui."

"Shui..." Demyx smiled ."Well I guess I need to reintroduce myself. My name is Demyx."

Shui let go of Demyx's hand and looked at him. "Demyx...but..when I first met you you said your name was Myde.."

"Well..." Demyx scratched the back of his head. "How do I explain this... My name was Myde. I join this group called the Organization. The leader was the one who found me. He changed my name. He added an X. I don't understand why an X, but it is what it is."

"Oh..I see." Shui looked down for a moment but then smiled and looked back at Demyx, "I like it. Demyx is a really cool name." She grinned as she spoke.

"I like yours better."

"Thanks, and I assume you are wondering why I have blue skin, well… that's because I am a water nymph."

"That's so cool. Do you have gils?"

"Only when I am under the water, when I am on the surface I have lungs. So I can easily breath the air here. It's a little odd sounding but it's true."

"Well that still sounds cool," Demyx said with a smile.

"So I am glad I can finally see you again, After seeing what I just saw...I was right."

"What are you talking about?" Demyx asked.

"Well…" Shui looked to the side, "You know how I held your hand, when we first met?" Demyx nodded, "Well I was young at the time and I didn't know it but when I did that, I ended up using some of my magic."

"Your magic?" Demyx questioned.

"Yes, all nymphs have magic. As a water nymph my magic is controlling water."

"Really? Hey I can control water too."

"And that's the thing, the reason you can control water is because of me." Shui said quietly.

Demyx didn't know how to respond at first, but eventually said something. "What do you mean?"

"I didn't know I did it at the time… and I don't really know how I did it. But when I held your hand...I ended up giving you the ability to control water. I hope you're not upset or anything."

"Why would I be, I should be thanking you," Demyx said with a grin. "You saw what I can do. I can create water clones and then they do all the fighting for me."

Shui gave a small giggle. "I take it that you don't like fighting that much?"

Demyx nodded, "Yeah, I just don't like fighting. I don't think I am really cut out for combat."

"Well you still got rid of those creatures. So I should thank you for that."

"The Heartless? I guess it wasn't that much work," Demyx said as he scratched the back of his head.

"Heartless? So that's what they are called. But this is so great!" Shui jumped up and down a few times,"We got to met again. I can't wait to really get to know you."

"That would be awesome and all...but I probably need to be heading back soon, to the castle where I live now."

Shui looked down, "Oh...I see. That's too bad. Wait, I have an idea!" Shui then looked at Demyx, excitement in her eyes. "What if I come back with you? Then we could talk more."

Demyx smiled, "Why not, I could show you around the castle and everything. Ok let's go." Demyx turned and open a dark corridor. Shui looked at it and backed up a bit.

"What is that?" She asked.

"It's a dark corridor. It's a of transpiration. Come let's get going. Just stay close to me," Demyx said as he walked towards the corridor. Shui slowly nodded and followed closely behind Demyx.

They exited into the corridor in the Grey Room. Shui looked around the room with wide eyes. "Whoa, this place looks pretty cool." She walked up to one of the large windows and looked out of it. "Where are we? I've never seen a place like this before."

"Well we are in the world called The World That Never Was," Demyx said as he walked up to Shui.

"Wait...we are in another world? Wow!" Her eyes lit up with excitement and amazement. "I heard about things like other worlds from old, ancient stories, but I had no idea that they were true!"

"Yeah there are lots of worlds, maybe I can show you them sometime."

"That would be awesome!" Shui said with a smile on her face.

"Demyx." A cold, emotionless voice called out.

Demyx turned around to see Saix standing in the middle of the room, and he did not look very happy. Then again he never did look happy… ever.

"Demyx, why did you bring someone back here with you? You had a mission to do."

Demyx sigh, "I did it...There were even some Heartless and stuff...but I got rid if them."

"But why did you bring that girl back," Saix said, seeming a bit cross.

"There isn't a rule against that is there? Shui is a childhood friend of mine."

"That doesn't matter, you should not have brought her here. She does not belong here and should not be here," Saix said with a strict emotionless voice.

"But you heard Demyx, I am his childhood friend," Shui interjected. "He wanted to show me this place."

"That is not a good enough reason for you to be here," Saix replied.

"Please let her stay here," Demyx begged, "Please?"

Saix sighed with annoyance, "Fine...but you better not slack off any more than you already are. She may stay in one of the spare rooms. And I expect a good, full report," Saix said and then left the room without another word.

After Saix left, Shui looked at Demyx, "So who was that guy?"

"That was Saix… He is kind of the boss of me… He tells me to go to missions and stuff… even though I don't want to," Demyx sighed as he slumped over. "And now I have to go write a report about my mission today."

Shui chuckled, "So is there anyone else here?"

Demyx stood up straight. "Well there are thirteen members total. I am the ninth member in the group. We are all in the organization, which is called Organization XIII."

"That sounds really cool. I'm glad I get to be here with you." She smiled as she put her arms around Demyx and gave him a hug. Demyx smiled and hugged Shui in return.

"This is great, I can't wait to show you around the castle tomorrow." Demyx said as they walked out of the Grey Room.

"So this place really is a castle?! Wow that's awesome." Shui said as she held onto Demyx's arm. As they walked down the hall Shui looked around around in awe. "Demyx, you know… I thought I would never see you again, but I was wrong. I am so glad we actually can spend time together."

"I thought the same thing, I wondered where you had gone. But I agreed that it's great we got to meet and again and everything." Demyx said as the walked up to one bedroom doors. "This is one of the empty rooms, this is where you can sleep."

Shui opened the door walked inside, "Thanks Demyx." She said with a smile, "I'll see you tomorrow."

Demyx nodded and Shui closed the door behind her. Demyx started walking back to his room, thinking about what had happened. He had met Shui again after all these years and learned that she was the reason he could control water. The more Demyx thought about it the more he wondered about whether he should try to explain to Shui that he is a Nobody. Demyx wasn't sure whether he should tell her. He didn't want to make her upset, and he figured explaining that a Nobody is not really meant to exist, could be quite upsetting. So Demyx decided that he wouldn't tell her. And with that Demyx walked into his room, lied down on his bed and started playing his sitar. He played for a little while, strumming a quiet little song, and after that he finally went to sleep.

Ok so I got another chapter done, now to go work on another chapter for this story (and my other stories too).
