Arriving back in Mystic Falls, Elena gave Liah directions to hers and Elijah's house and put her stuff in her bedroom before helping Liah put her stuff in the spare room, and agreed that after they dealt with their ghost problem, they will buy things for the spare room, before they went into town to find Bonnie.
"Stop the car."Elena snapped, seeing Bonnie and Caroline, and Liah did as she was told and got out after the angry Werewitch."Bonnie Sheila Bennett!"Elena snarled, storming over to the stunned pair."What the fuck did you do?"Elena demanded to know as she came to a stop in front of Bonnie and Caroline.
"I..."Bonnie trailed off, coming out of her shock."I don't have time for this."She ignored Elena's and Liah's furious glares and went to pick up her bag, only for her stuff to fall out. Groaning, Bonnie bent down to pick up her Grimoire, only for it to fly open.
"Ok, did your Grimoire just...?"Caroline trailed off questionably.
"I think so."Bonnie said, just as shocked as the two Hybrids and Vampire.
"Please tell me that's a recipe for Witch Cookies."Caroline said pleadingly as Bonnie picked up the Grimoire and Liah scoffed.
"Please tell me that's the answer to stopping the Ghosts from messing with the Living Realm."Liah retorted causing Caroline and Bonnie to look at her, eyes wide."Well?"Liah demanded, crossing her arms.
"It's a Manifestation Spell."Elena and Liah shared a look."It's used to reveal veiled matter."
"What's veiled matter?"Caroline asked.
"Ghosts."The trio of Witches said.
"We need to go to the Old Witch House."Bonnie said, looking at Elena while eyeing Liah warily.
"This is Aaliyah Mikaelson, Elijah's, Rebekah's, and Klaus' Sister. She's a Witchpire Hybrid."Elena introduced them."Liah, this is Bonnie Bennett and Caroline Forbes."
"Witchpire?"Caroline and Bonnie echoed.
"Half Witch, half Vampire."Liah answered honestly."Call me Liah."
"That's not possible."Bonnie said in denial and Elena rolled her eyes.
"Oh, it's very possible."Liah said, smirking."Now, let's go to this Old Witch House and get rid of these Spirits."
"So this is where you brought Jeremy back to life?"Caroline asked Bonnie as they followed her down to the attic.
"You did what?"Elena exclaimed, eyes wide, and both Caroline and Bonnie winced, forgetting that Elena was there.
"Yeah."Bonnie said."Sorry, I know it's creepy. But we needed a private place around here to do the Spell."The Bennett Witch explained calmly, ignoring the feeling of furious and dark glares that were being drilled into the back of her head.
"No wonder the Ghosts are in the Living Realm."Liah said sarcastically as Bonnie sat down on the floor and Elena followed, sitting down in front of Bonnie while Liah sat down to the left of them, creating a triangle."You brought a Human back to life! With Magic! Are you out of your fucking mind!"Liah added furiously and Bonnie glared at her while Elena shook her head
"There's no chance it's haunted by the hundred dead Witches who were horrifically burned to death in this very spot, is there?"Caroline asked nervously.
"They're not here anymore."Caroline nodded."And they made it clear they were never coming back."
"She's telling the truth. If they were here, they'd be whispering about me and Kol."Liah said, glancing around."Mainly me because they pity me."Bonnie and Caroline raised an eyebrow at her but didn't ask what she meant by that, since they all knew Witches lose their Magic when they turn into Vampires.
"Great."Caroline stepped forward."They pinky swear?"She asked causing Liah to look at her in amusement while Elena rolled her eyes.
"Caroline..."Bonnie said drily, shaking her head."Could you light the candles."Caroline nodded and quickly did as Bonnie asked of her.
"Ready?"Caroline asked as she finished lighting the last candle as Bonnie, Liah, and Elena linked hands."Do you need me to do...?"Caroline turned to find the trio chanting in Latin with their eyes closed and Elena's and Bonnie's hands that were connected to Liah were glowing red, leaving the blonde stunned."Right. Ok."Caroline mumbled.
"Phasmatos Obscuram, Ex Luces Estnes Qua Umbres."They chanted in unison."Natus Ignavum Evitem. Phasmatos Obscuram, Ex Luces Estnes Qua Umbres."Wind picked up around them and Caroline looked around with narrowed eyes."Natus Ignavum Evitem."The flames flickered and grew."Phasmatos Obscuram, Ex Luces Estnes Qua Umbres."
"Guys, I don't like this."Caroline said when the wind grew stronger but the trio ignored her."Bonnie? Elena?"She called out softly to the two girls she , the trio stopped and Elena's and Bonnie's eyes snapped open when they felt a hands resting on their linked hands."Oh my god."Caroline breathed out as Liah opened her eyes while Elena and Bonnie looked up to see none other then Sheila Bennett."Is that your-Grams?"Elena and Bonnie cut Caroline off, looking at the older woman.
"We can't believe you're here."Bonnie said, speaking for both her and Elena, who had tears rolling down her face and Bonnie was no better.
"Now, stop your crying. We don't have time for tears, girls."Sheila said to both girls."Nice to see you again, Caroline."
"Hi, Miss. Sheila."Caroline nervously.
Sheila turned to look at Liah."Hello, Aaliyah Mikaelson."She greeted the Witchpire.
"Miss. Sheila."Liah greeted her in return, keeping her voice light. She knew better then to piss off this Bennett Witch just by looking at her.
"Thank you for looking after my Little Flame."Sheila said before looking at Bonnie."A fine mess you've made, honey."Bonnie looked down, ashamed."The Witches told you there'd be consequences to bringing Jeremy back. You did it anyway."
"I didn't have a choice."Bonnie choked out."I love him and I couldn't just let him go."
"I understand."Sheila said and gave Bonnie a stern look."But you cracked open the door to the Other Side. There's an old Witch over here."Liah and Elena tensed."She took advantage of it. She took advantage of you, honey."Sheila explained."When you did that Spell to send Vicki Donovan away? She wedged the door wide open giving a free pass to anybody with unfinished business."
"How do you know this?"
"Witches talk."Sheila and Liah said in unison.
"Even on the Other Side."Sheila added.
"Dead or alive, they love to gossip."Liah added and Sheila nodded in agreement with the Witchpire.
"Who do you think makes all the rules?"Sheila questioned Bonnie and Elena.
"What does the Witch want?"Bonnie questioned her.
"That's Original Vampire and Elena's business, not yours."Sheila said sharply, causing Liah and Elena to look at her, eyes wide, while Bonnie and Caroline frowned."I don't want you getting in the middle of that,"Sheila turned to look at Elena."and I wish you weren't in the middle of it, Elena."Sheila sighed."But beggars can't be choosers."She looked between all three girls."I'm here because Bonnie upset the Balance of Nature."
"We noticed."Liah said drily, grimacing as she thought of Caspian, and winced when Sheila gave her a sharp and stern look.
"And it's your duty to set it right."Sheila continued, looking back at Bonnie, who nodded."You need to close that door."
"So how do we close the door, Grams?"Elena asked.
"We close it with that old Witch's Talisman."Sheila said, giving Elena a look."That Talisman is what that Witch is drawing power from to do all this, and we need to destroy it."
"Emily's Necklace."Elena realised what Talisman Sheila was talking about, before turning to look at Caroline."Call her."Caroline nodded, whipping out her phone and speed dialled Emily and told her what she heard the four Witches talking about.
"Ok, I just texted Damon, he said that the necklace is in his room."Caroline said, turning back to the Witches.
"You and Caroline go, Baby. We'll be right here, waiting for you to get back."Sheila said to Bonnie, who looked as if she was going to protest but one stern look from the older Bennett Witch made her keep her mouth shut and did as she was told."Now,"Sheila said, turning back to Liah and Elena once Bonnie and Caroline were gone."I am so happy for you, Baby. But I'm also so mad at you."Sheila cupped Elena's cheeks in her hands."You found someone to spend your Eternal Life with, even if he's a Vampire, but I can see that he and his Siblings, even if they're beyond dysfunctional, make you happy."
"And the reason why you're so mad?"Elena asked, although she was almost afraid to ask.
"I'm mad because you thought that it would be ok to simply play the old Switch-A-Roo Act on Klaus."Sheila said and Liah's eyes widened in shock."I did not raise you to simply give up and become suicidal, nor did I raise you to give up your Magic for your Sister to use, Baby."Sheila said, giving Elena a firm look."Lord knows that girl would destroy the entire town by mixing up just one word."Liah chuckled while Elena smiled slightly."I know life has been hard for you, and I wish you didn't grow up the way you did, but I'm proud of the woman I see before me. I'm so proud of you and I want you live and never, ever give up, do you understand me?"Elena nodded as tears formed in her eyes.
"I'm sorry."Elena choked out.
"I know you are, honey."Sheila said before looking at Liah."You better look after her or I'll come back to haunt you and your Brother if he hurts her."
"I promise."Liah said strongly."I will protect and love Elena like a Sister, Always and Forever."She added the last part towards Elena.
"Always and Forever."Elena replied.
Elena smiled as she lit the candles and the fireplace with her Magic."Bonnie!"She, Liah, and Bonnie heard Jeremy and they turned to see him walking over to them."Elena?"He whispered, eyes wide at seeing his Older Sister.
"Hey Jer."Elena said calmly.
"So this is the Brother."Liah said, looking Jeremy over briefly before turning to Bonnie."Let's get this over with."She said sternly.
Bonnie nodded, looking back at Jeremy, who held out the necklace to Bonnie, who after a minute of looking at Jeremy, took it and turned to the fire, throwing the necklace into said fire."Universa Ruina In Tenebras Ra Damis Infinitum."They chanted together as they linked hands while looking at the fire."De Lon Dem Ex Nahal da Six."Sheila appeared, taking Bonnie's hand in hers as they continued the chant."Universa Ruina In Tenebras Ra Damis Infinitum."The flames in the fireplace grew bigger."De Lon Dem Ex Nahal da Six."They finished off in strong voices and watched as the necklace melted before Elena let go of Bonnie's hand.
"You are stronger then all of this."Sheila said."I'm so proud of you."She added, sounding so proud.
The Magic that allowed Sheila to gain a foothold completely disappeared, separating Elena and Bonnie from ever being able to see Sheila again. A soft sob left Elena's throat and she allowed Liah to take her into her arms and lead her out of the attic and the Old Witch House altogether.
"It's ok, I'm here, you're ok."Liah said as she led Elena over to their car."Let's get you home."
Elena groaned as she woke up to the sound of her phone going off."What?"Elena answered her phone sleepily while checking the time on the alarm clock.
"Well, at least you answered my call."Alaric said, sounding smug as he looked at Emily and Damon, who were both scowling at him.
"Give me a good reason why I shouldn't hand up on you, Mr. Saltzman."Elena said before she yelped as she was kicked out of bed."Ow!"She sat up and glared at hazel green eyes that were glaring back at her, yet gleamed with mischief.
"Are you ok?"Alaric asked worriedly while Emily looked confused and worried and Damon raised an eyebrow.
"I'm fine. I just got kicked out of bed."Elena said, a little surprised that Alaric cared, as Liah sat up and stretched.
"By who?"Alaric asked when Damon made face that said he wanted to know who.
"My roommate who is bunking in my bed until we can get her a bed."Elena answered and wondered why she did that."We're going off topic, what do you want?"
"How well are you at reading stories that are told by pictures only?"Alaric suddenly asked, catching Elena off guard by the odd question.
"Pretty good at it, why?"Elena asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Meet me at the old Lockwood Cellar and don't bring your roommate."Alaric said before hanging up and Elena blinked, looking down at her phone then at Liah.
"Don't worry about me. I'm gonna go find Bekah, anyway."Liah said dismissively."Be careful?"
"You too."Elena replied, nodding.
