"So the Lockwood's have no idea these tunnels are underneath their property?"Emily asked in awe as she followed behind Elena and Alaric, who was leading them to where he had found the stories drawn on the wall.

"Yeah."Alaric said, glancing back at the twins and squinted."Careful where you shine that thing."They continued walking."Bats hate the light."

"Wait, what?"Emily questioned Alaric, seeing as she was afraid of bats.

"Emily."Emily whirled around with a startled gasp and pointed the light directly at Damon. Glaring, Emily punched him in the shoulder while he smirked at her."God, Damon."

"Scaredly-cat."Damon replied, smirking.

"Just ignore him."Alaric spoke up."That's what I do."

"Same."Elena agreed."And of course the Lockwood's don't know about these tunnels."Elena added, glancing around."Seeing as they're as old as the Original Family, and they're a thousand years old."Elena explained, causing the trio to look at her as she glanced back at Damon."So you really can't get in?"When no one answered her, she raised an eyebrow at them."What?"

"You can tell how old these tunnels are?"Alaric asked.

"Yeah, I took a crash course in geology."Elena said sarcastically but Emily nor Alaric heard the sarcastic tone, but Damon did and he scowled at her.

"And these tunnels are as old as the Originals?"Emily questioned Elena, who nodded."How are they still standing?"

"That's easy. Magic."Elena said drily as Emily looked at her with wide eyes."I'm lying. The structure of rocks changes, some fall away, others remain stable and strong. The ones that fall away create new tunnels."Elena explained, rolling her eyes as she looked back at Damon."Again, you really can't get in?"

"No, it seems even the ancient Lockwood's were Anti-Vampire."Damon grumbled as he walked passed Emily.

"What do you mean ancient?"Emily questioned Damon and Elena scoffed.

"There were no ancient Lockwood's, Damon."Elena said, annoyed."There were Native Tribes before Columbus discovered America."

"Wanna bet?"Damon retorted, looking back at Elena.

"Sure, why not."Elena shrugged."Fifty dollars I'm right, Fifty dollars you're right."

"Come see for yourself then and prepare to lose."Damon said, smirking as he continued walking."This is as far as I get to go."He said as he came to a stop in an entrance leading towards big space within the tunnels. The two Human's and one Werewitch walked right passed him and Alaric used his torch to show them what was drawn on the walls.

"What is all this?"Emily asked, eyes narrowed.

"As far as I can tell, it's a story."Alaric answered Emily."In simple archaeological terms, it's a really, really old story."He explained as Elena stepped closer."I just can't interpret everything. But I do know one thing."He put some light on one of the drawings."That right there is a Moon Cycle."He stated then moved the light to another drawing."A man. A wolf."

"A Werewolf, right?"Emily asked, looking from the drawing to Elena.

"Yeah."Damon spoke up before Elena could."It's the Lockwood Diaries."He said, voice smug."Pictionary-style."

"No, it's not."Elena denied, looking over everything."Like I said, Native Tribes. This is one of those Tribes."

"I don't understand."Emily said as she looked between Elena and Damon in confusion."Damon said that Mason knew about this place because it has something to do with his ancestors, but Elena and I learned in School and have thought for years that the Lockwood's came here with the Original Founders in the 1860's."

"They did and they didn't."Elena spoke up before Damon could, not looking at Emily.

"Care to explain."Alaric pipped up.

"The Werewolves in this story are the Natives and the stick figures holding sticks are Humans with swords."Elena said turning to everyone. She knew what this story was but she wasn't going to say anything until she was sure that there was some actual proof of the Mikaelson's having lived here a thousand years ago."But I know there's more, so I'm not saying else until you tell me what else you want me to look at."She said, turning her attention to Alaric, who sighed and walked over to the farther part of the wall.

"Names. And they're not Native."He said, shining some light on the wall."They're written in Runic."Emily and Elena walked over to it."A Viking Script from what I can tell. Can you read them?"Alaric asked, turning to Elena, who stepped forward.

"Vikings?"Emily asked.

"If you want the correct term for this Script, it's Elder Futhark."Elena said while silently reading the names."Their translated names are; Niklaus, or as we would know our dear Hybrid friend as Klaus."Emily's and Damon's eyes widened.

"I was hoping was reading that wrong."Alaric muttered under his breath.

"Elijah, Rebekah, Kol, Aaliyah, Finn, and Henrik."Elena said, completely ignoring the last name.

"These are the names of the Original Family?"Emily asked, looking at Elena, who nodded.

"Yes."Elena said simply."One of them most likely carved their names in before these were drawn."The Werewitch said, gesturing to the drawings.

"So this isn't one of Klaus' fakes? How can you be so sure that it was written over a thousand years ago and isn't recent?"Emily asked suspiciously as she eyed her Older Sister, who turned to her with pursed lips.

"And while you're at, what's the last one?"Damon asked."Come on, we know you know the last name."He added when Elena remained quiet.

"Ok, first; the Barrier keeping Damon out?"Elena nodded to Damon and Alaric and Emily glanced back at him then at Elena."It's Ancient Magic. Tribal Ancient. The type I wouldn't even dare to mess with just to be able to let Damon in."Elena explained."That's how we know that Klaus couldn't have pulled this off. Because not even he can get in here."She added."And second, the name on that wall is Mikael."Elena's eyes narrowed when she saw the looks Alaric, Damon, and Emily gave each other."And about the whole ancient Lockwood's living here around the same time as the Originals is impossible yet possible."

"We're not following."Alaric said, clearly confused.

"I looked into the Werewolf Bloodlines. Turns out, every single Werewolf shares the same Ancestry which originates from somewhere in America."Elena stated and shrugged."Those Werewolves on that wall aren't the originators of the Lockwood Bloodline, but that doesn't mean that they aren't cousins."Elena's eyes suddenly narrowed."Now, why were you all interested about Mikael?"Elena questioned them.

"It was another name on the wall. Does it matter?"Elena's eyes darkened at Damon's flippant answer.

"Veritas."Elena whispered lowly."Why were you all so interested about Mikael?"Elena asked them again in a firmer tone.

"We were interested in Mikael because Klaus bolted at the name and Mason Lockwood said that there's a weapon that could kill Klaus. I think Mikael might have that same weapon."Damon answered in a flat voice.

"How do you know about Mikael?"Elena asked.

"Katherine and I found him with Jeremy's and Anna's help."Damon answered, his voice still flat, before Elena released him of the Spell and he blinked, looking confused while Emily and Alaric stared at him in shock at how he could just blurt that out to Elena, who was now the enemy.

"Elena-"Emily started to say. However, Elena flicked her wrist and Damon's neck was snapped causing Emily to gasp as she looked at Damon then looked back at Elena.

But before Emily could do anything, Elena raised her palm up in front of Emily and Alaric, curling said palm into a first and watched as Alaric's and Emily's eyes rolled into the back of their heads before they fell to the ground, unconscious. Turning back to the drawings on the wall, Elena pulled out her phone and started snapping some pictures of everything before she left.

"Pick up."Elena muttered as she entered the house and slammed the door shut."Pick up, Liah."Elena gritted out.

"Is everything all right?"Elena let out a small scream and turned to see Liah standing in the doorway that led to the kitchen and had a blood bag in her hand.

"No, everything is not all right."Elena said, ending the call on her phone."We've got a problem. A big problem. They know about Mikael and that he has a weapon that can kill you and your Siblings."

"What?"Liah gritted out, eyes darkening in rage as Rebekah appeared out of nowhere, looking terrified.

"What do you mean they know about Mikael!?"Rebekah exclaimed.

"We went into some tunnels that have drawings of story, a story of you and your Family."Elena explained."And Damon and Katherine went looking for Mikael with Jeremy's help."Liah's and Rebekah's features darkened."I'll deal with Katherine." Elena added before two Originals said anything while inwardly cursing Katherine for helping Damon.

"Where are these drawings?"Liah asked but Elena shook her head.

"It wouldn't matter where the tunnel is because it has a Barrier Spell on it. But I got pictures."Elena stated and watched as Rebekah and Liah shared a knowing look."You've been in those caves."Elena stated."I mean, of course you have. One of you wrote your names on the wall. The question is, why?"

"Those caves were there to protect us on the Full Moon, from Werewolves. The Witches of the Village we lived in made it only so Humans and Witches could enter."Liah explained.

"But I'm a Werewolf."Elena stated."I shouldn't have been able to get in then, right?"

"Yes, but what I meant was that Werewolves couldn't cross the Barrier Spell on a Full Moon, only when they're Human, they can cross over."Liah explained and Elena nodded in understanding.

"What do we do?"Rebekah suddenly asked.

"We plan."Elena said as if it was simple."I get the feeling that Emily will be looking for answers and what better way to get those answers but from one of the sources itself."Elena said when the two Originals looked at her questionably."She really only knows you, Rebekah. We can only guess that she knows about Liah through Caroline and Bonnie. So she'll most likely go for Original who she knows and believes is less of a threat because she's not a Hybrid."Elena explained and Liah and Rebekah looked at each other in agreement."Go along with whatever she wants, but make sure you make it clear that you want her to learn only what you allow her to learn."Rebekah nodded, starting to form a plan on how to make that happen."So, if you ask me, you should threaten Emily, directly or indirectly."

"I was already planning on it."Rebekah said, smirking."I think you'll fit right in with our Family, Elena."The Werewitch beamed at the Blonde Original.

"Well, just so you know, I would choose you and Liah as Sisters over Emily any day."Liah and Rebekah smiled back at her.

"Thank you and it'll be nice to have another girl around."Rebekah chirped."Now, I'm off to School."

"Bye, Bekah."Liah said, giving her Little Sister a cheery wave.

"Have fun."Elena added with a pointed look.

"I'll try."Rebekah replied, smirking back at her Older Sister, and now her Younger Sister.

Hours had passed and school had long since got out. During that time, Elena had been uploading the imagines from her phone and onto her computer while Liah had taken actual time and effort into setting up her room all by herself.

"I'm surprised."Elena said when Liah came down stairs to get a blood bag."I thought you'd have those men do all the work for you."

"I'm many things, Little Sister, but I am not spoilt like Nik and Rebekah."Liah retorted, smirking as she headed into the kitchen. Elena chuckled before she frowned when she went to the next picture and leaned back against the couch.

"Sun and Moon, plus fangs?"Elena said questionably."A Werewolf and Vampire. Hybrid?"Elena mumbled, looking at the symbols."A woman and a heart?"Liah walked back out with a cup filled with blood and looked at Elena curiously."Hey, do you get what these symbols mean."Elena gestured to her computer while looking at Liah."I figured out a few pieces and have been linking them to your story but this...?"She trailed off questionably as Liah walked over to the couch and leaned over the couch, looking over Elena's shoulder.

"We have to find Rebekah."Liah said urgently after a second of staring at the drawings with wide eyes."Now."Liah said, putting the cup down and grabbed Elena by the wrist, pulling her up and dragged her to the front door.

"Wait, why?"Elena asked, confused and worried.

"Because Mikael didn't kill our Mother."Elena's eyes widened."Nik did."Liah said in a soft voice.

"Rebekah!"Elena and Liah called out to the blonde as they stormed into the Salvatore Boarding House and paused when they found the youngest Original sitting on her knees, in front of the fireplace, crying.

"Bexs..."Rebekah looked up at them with tears in her broken eyes.

"He killed her, Liah. Nik killed Mother."Rebekah cried and Liah Vamp-Sped over to her, and pulled the blonde into her arms, rocking her back and forth.

Although it was clear to Elena that Liah didn't care much about her Mother's death, she knew that she cared very much about Rebekah and her emotional state, and seeing her Baby Sister look so broken must have broke Liah's own heart. Elena walked over to them and sat down in front of them, placing her hand on Rebekah's shoulder in what she hoped was comfort.

Looking up at Elena, Rebekah startled and surprised the brunette by grabbing the hand on her shoulder and pulled her into a hug, hiding her face under Elena's chin and breathed in the Werewitch's earthly scent, which was rather calming for her.

"C'mon, let's go back and forget about all of this for tonight."Liah mumbled and the two younger Immortals nodded in agreement.
