Elena found herself in the forest, in the middle of the night, on a Full Moon, standing in front of a pentagram with seven torches surrounding it. Frowning, Elena walked towards the pentagram and walked around it, glancing at the torches curiously. Before she could do anything else though, she heard something snapped and whirled around to see what made that noise, only for everything to go black.
Elena gasped awake and jolted up in bed, looking around with wide eyes before glancing at the alarm clock and found that it was half past four in the morning. Groaning, Elena lied back down, wondering what was going on.
"Why didn't you tell me sooner that you were having problems sleeping?"Liah asked as she finished making her cup of coffee.
"I don't know..."Elena trailed off."I guess I thought the dreams would just go away."Liah raised an eyebrow at her."It's so weird."Elena said as she and Liah sat at the table, looking through the Grimoires."It's the same dream, over and over again."Elena stated."I'm in the forest, it's a Full Moon, and there's a pentagram with seven torches."
"Then what happens?"Liah asked, raising an eyebrow at her.
"I go towards it, I walk around it, glancing at the torches, looking for something that I might have missed in my other dreams, but like always, I hear a branch snap and turn around, then everything goes black."Elena explained, frowning."It makes no sense. I have no idea why I'm dreaming this same dream, over and over again. It's driving me crazy."
"It would drive me crazy too."Liah agreed, taking a sip of her coffee.
"I just want one dreamless night or day. Just one peaceful sleep."Elena said, leaning back in her chair."Please tell me there's a spell for that."Elena basically pleaded and Liah hesitated."Is there?"
"Well, there is one that I know and you'll be asleep for twenty-four hours."Liah said softly and Elena nodded."A lot can happen in twenty-four hours."Liah warned her.
"At the moment, all I care about is getting some actual sleep."Elena stated."So screw the warning, Liah, and put me to sleep."
"Ok then."Liah said standing up."Back to bed."Liah said, pointing the direction of the stairs and Elena did as she was told with Liah right behind her."And you better get comfy too."Once Elena was in her bed and was lying down with Liah looming over her, Liah waved her hand in a circle motion over Elena's head, saying;"Horis Somno."Liah chanted and watched as Elena fell asleep."
"Expergiscere."Elena faintly heard Liah say and felt herself coming back into full awareness.
"I still can not believe you put her in a dreamless sleep, Aaliyah!"Elena heard a familiar sharp and stern voice snap at Liah and Elena wasn't sure if she was dreaming or not at hearing that familiar voice."You know those type of Spells are dangerous."
"She was practically begging me."Liah said defensively."She gave me the puppy eyes, Elijah."
"You should have said no."Elena could practically hear the scowl in his voice."Honestly, what if she doesn't wake up?"He questioned Liah."Why isn't she waking up?"He suddenly asked, sounding extremely worried and fearful and Elena could feel his intense gaze burning holes onto her face.
"It takes a few minutes, Elijah, calm down."Liah said, sounding annoyed. Both of the Originals watched as Elena's eyes fluttered open and closed for a few seconds before her eyes fully snapped open and she started to sit up, only for a large hand to gently forced her to lie back down.
Her eyes followed the hand up to the shoulder and to a very familiar face."Elijah."Elena breathed out, her dark hazel brown eyes widening as they met his dark hazel green eyes that were filled with worry.
"Hello Lovely."Elijah said gently and pushed Elena back down again when she started to sit up again, causing her to frown at him."Wait a few moments, Lovely."He said while sitting down next to her.
Elena continued to stare at him, afraid that she was actually dreaming and that he'd disappear if she looked away for even a second. When his hand finally moved away, Elena quickly sat up and hugged Elijah, who returned her hug and held her in a tight, yet gentle and loving embrace.
Neither of them had noticed that Liah had left the room to give them some privacy."I missed you so much."Elena mumbled into Elijah's chest.
"As did I, Lovely, as did I."Elijah mumbled back and pulled away slightly to look Elena over before reaching out to grab a lock of her hair."Your hair, it's longer."He stated, raising an eyebrow at Elena.
"It's not that long, it's only shoulder length, slightly longer then neck length."Elena defended her hair.
"I like it."Elijah was quick to reassure Elena at seeing her be so defensive of her hair before he let go of the lock of her hair and caressed her cheek."Aaliyah has caught me up to speed on everything that has been happening."He started off carefully and Elena raised an eyebrow at him."You were spiralling."He stated, frowning slightly while Elena looked at him with narrowed eyes filled with confusion."You went after Niklaus, who was slowly turning Stefan Salvatore back into a Ripper, and was trying to make Hybrids, with Katerina of all Vampires, you Triggered your Curse,"Elena winced at the reminder of her Curse."you told Klaus that Emily had survived the Ritual, you made a reckless plan that got Rebekah Daggered and you spoke with Mikael of all Vampires, you poisoned Damon Salvatore and you recorded Emily, humiliating her in the process."Elijah listed everything that happened while he was Daggered, as if he was scolding Elena."You were spiralling."He stated firmly."And I would have been spiralling too if something had happened to you."Elijah suddenly added, surprising Elena as she looked at him with wide eyes.
"Really?"Elena whispered and Elijah nodded before his head suddenly snapped to the side and he slowly looked back at Elena in shock and surprise."That was for lying about making a promise you didn't keep."Before Elijah could say anything, Elena grabbed him by his tie and yanked him forward, crashing her lips against his."That was because I love you."Elena mumbled against Elijah's lips.
"I love you too, Darling."Elijah said against her lips. His hand, which had still been resting on her cheek, slid to cup the back of her head and entangled said hand in her hair as he deepened the kiss. Pulling away, the duo rested their foreheads against each other.
Before either of them could do anything else, they were interrupted."You two better not start having sex right now, especially with this door open."Liah said, standing in the doorway, leaning against said door, with a smirk on her face."And if you do, you might wanna close the door and burn some Sage."Elena blushed darkly while Elijah turned to glare at his Sister.
"Aaliyah."Elijah growled out in a warning voice.
"Besides, we don't have rest of the afternoon for you two to be messing around, we have a Dinner to go to at our dear Brother's Mansion."
"Wait, what Dinner? And it's the afternoon?"Elena asked, looking at the clock."How long was I asleep?"
"Don't worry, it's the next day. You had more then a full day's rest."Liah said dismissively as Elena looked relieved."I thought I'd leave you asleep for a bit longer then I should have."She added with a shrug."Oh, and Elijah can explain the Dinner to you."With that said, Liah was gone and Elena looked back at Elijah questionably and Elijah sighed before he started to explain.
After Elijah explained the plan to Elena, Liah came back into the room with two folded up dresses in her arms, which she put on the end of the bed and turned to Elena and Elijah, eyeing Elijah's suit before she nodded, seeming to approve of what her Brother was already wearing.
"Ok, get out, Elijah."Elijah opened his mouth to say something but Liah quickly continued."I'm going to help Elena with her outfit and style her hair and she's going to do the same with me, now, don't make me force you out of the room."Shaking his head in amusement, Elijah turned to Elena and kissed her on the forehead before he was Vamp-Sped out of the room and shut the door on his way out."Now..."Liah said, turning back to Elena and unfolded the clothes to reveal two beautiful dresses.
One was a 1950's Vintage Navy Blue Midi Lace, Neck Dress. The whole dress was made up of two layers, the base being cotton fabric with a sweetheart shape neckline cut and A-line cut for the skirt. The second layer of the dress was a navy lace with floral pattern mimicked most of the base dress cut with a small alteration of high-neck neckline and a greater amount of fabric in the lower part of the dress to create a flowy effect.
The second dress was a 1950's Vintage Burgundy Off Shoulder Dress. The dress had little sleeves and an off-shoulder cut with a cutout neckline and the cinched waist flares into a fluffy, lovely, A-line pleated skirt that ends right above the knees.
"Oh wow."Was all that Elena could say.
"After Elijah told Nik and I that the Salvatore's wanted an audience with us, Nik took me to the store and we picked out the burgundy dress for you and the navy blue dress for me."Liah explained.
When Elena and Liah came down stairs, they found Elijah waiting for them at the bottom of said stairs, and he looked up at them in awe. Elena had decided to do Liah's hair up in a loose braided crown updo, twisted into a low bun, with some loose curls that give the updo a look of elegance. Meanwhile, Liah had decided to do Elena's hair in a simple, yet elegant bun, a twisted bun, that had loose curls. Both Immortals only had natural make up applied.
Elijah smiled charmingly at both of them as they came to a stop in front of him."You look beautiful, Little Sister."He said before turning to Elena."And you look enchanting, Elena."
"Thank you, Big Brother."Liah said, smiling at him."You look as dashing as ever, Big Brother."She said, rolling her eyes playfully at him."Oh and I like the hair, very modern."Liah added before walking toward the door as Elena .
"Thank you and she's right, you do look more modern with that hairstyle."Elena said, smiling up at Elijah, who smirked down at her.
"Shall we?"He asked, holding his arm out for her to loop her's through.
"We shall."She answered, looping her arm through his and allowed him to guide her out of the house and to his car.
Elena, Liah, and Elijah arrived at Klaus' Mansion ten minutes before the Salvatore Brothers arrived and after Elijah had seated his Sister and Intended at their designated seats, he headed over to the door and opened it to reveal Stefan and Damon standing outside.
"Niklaus."Elijah called out to Klaus, who was standing in the dinning room, standing next to the table and by Liah."Our guests have arrived."He let the Brothers in and closed the door behind them, following them to the dinning room.
"Damon. Stefan."Klaus greeted them when they stepped into the living room."Elijah tells me, you seek an audience. Very bold."He said, amused while Elena and Liah watched from their seats."Let's discuss the terms of our agreement like civilised men,"Klaus gestured to the remaining seats at the table."shall we?"
"It's better to indulge him."Elijah said when Damon glanced back at him before walking pass said Vampire and took his seat on the left of Elena, seeing as Liah was sitting on Elena's right.
Stefan took a small step forward."I didn't come here to eat, Klaus."The male Hybrid raised an eyebrow at him."Fact, I didn't want to come here at all. But I was told,"Stefan looked at Damon, who glanced back at him, eyes narrowed and lips pursed."I had to cause you would hear us out."
"Hmm. Well, we can sit and eat, or I can reach down your throats and pull out your insides."Klaus said, giving them an ultimatum."Choice is yours."Klaus took a seat at the head of the table, sitting opposite Liah.
The Mikaelson trio and Elena watched as the Salvatore Brothers finally sat down, with Damon sitting opposite of Elijah with Klaus and Stefan sitting on either side of him, and Stefan of course sat in between Damon and Liah. As they started eating, the maids started pouring their drinks.
"Thank you, love."Damon said, sounding polite, however, he was staring at the maids ass.
"Hmm."Klaus said, drawing everyone's attention to him."You lost your appetite?"He stated questionably, looking at Stefan, who barely touched his plate.
"Eat."Damon interjected."I thought we agreed that we would leave the grumpy Stefan at home."Liah and Klaus smirked slightly as Stefan picked up his utensils.
"That's the spirit."Klaus said, a full blown smirk on his face."Isn't this nice? The six of us dining together. Such a treat."He gestured between Elijah and Damon."Is this what you had in mind when you pulled the Dagger out of my Brother?"Elijah glanced over at Klaus for a second.
"Well, I know what he felt about you, so I figured, the more the merrier."Damon stated, winking at Elijah.
"Well, Elijah and I have had our share of quarrels over the century. But we always make it through."Klaus said, glancing at Elijah.
"Kind of like you and Rebekah, right?"Stefan suddenly asked and Liah's mood dropped."Where is she, by the way?"Stefan questioned Klaus.
"Why? Suddenly interested in your ex?"Liah asked in a snarky voice and Stefan glared at her before looking back at Klaus.
"No, because last I checked, she was still Daggered because you were afraid to face her."He said the last bit to Klaus and Damon paused, looking as though he wanted to suddenly kill Stefan.
"If you're referring to the fact that Rebekah knows I killed our Mother, I've already come clean to Elijah."Klaus admitted and Elena's eyes widened before she glanced at Elijah, who offered her a small smile.
"Ok."Stefan said before looking at Liah."So, why isn't she angry?"Stefan asked, pointing Liah.
"She has a name and she can speak for herself."Liah snapped back, glaring at Stefan, who raised an eyebrow at her questionably."I was never close with our Mother, besides, it was a thousand years ago, why be angry about something that's been buried deep within the past?"Liah asked, raising an eyebrow at Stefan.
"Hey, Stef, remember when you killed Dad?"Damon suddenly asked and Elena, who went to reach for her glass, paused and looked at Stefan like she didn't even know him."Might want to dial down the judgement until dessert."
"We're here to make a deal, Damon."Stefan stated."Doesn't mean we need to kiss his ass for seven courses."Klaus chuckled.
"I'm just saying we have a long evening ahead of us. Pace yourself."Damon warned Stefan."And know what, I didn't just wake Elijah for this, I also woke him up for our sexy Witch Doppelganger. here."Damon gestured to Elena, who blushed in embarrassment and anger while he winked at her."What better way to get into her good graces then to wake up Elijah?"He asked, smirking while Klaus, Elijah, and Liah glared at him.
"Oh, please."Elena muttered while glaring at Damon."All you want is to get into my pants through manipulation, seeing as you can't compel me to have sex with you, like you did with Caroline."Damon's smirk disappeared and was replaced with a deep frown while Klaus froze and Liah and Elijah frowned and tilted their heads slightly to the side in unison."It's no wonder you're far from being a boyfriend material for anyone, especially Emily."Elena said and Damon's eyes darkened."I mean you're easy to piss off, volatile, you're so jealous of your Brother because he gets the girl, but that is really not an enigma, no woman with any self respect would want anything to do with you."Elena shrugged as she looked straight at Damon."I mean you turned Vicky out of spite and boredom and you killed Lexi on your own Brother's Birthday..."Elena trailed off."Oh and you also killed Grams by default, but it was still your fault."Elena bit out."So just stop. I'm not into you, I don't love you, I hate you and I hope Klaus kills you."By the end of Elena's speech, Elijah's face was blank but his eyes were filled with fury towards Damon, Klaus looked murderous, Liah looked horrified and disgusted, and even Stefan looked a little disgusted.
